Chaman was undoubtedly the highlight of our entire trip to Sayulita! This gem offers the perfect balance of adult enjoyment and family-friendly atmosphere that's surprisingly hard to find. First, let me rave about their margaritas - absolutely the BEST in all of Sayulita! Perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and made with quality ingredients that make all the difference. While adults can enjoy these incredible drinks, the kids aren't an afterthought here either. The kid-friendly menu had great options that pleased even our pickiest eater, and the space allows children to play and explore while parents relax. Yes, the food took a bit longer to arrive than some places, but the wait was completely justified once we saw and tasted our meals. Everything is made fresh with obvious care and attention to detail - no corners cut here! The flavors were authentic and memorable. The service deserves special mention - attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming to families. They struck that perfect balance of checking in without hovering. What really impressed me was that Chaman manages to be family-friendly without sacrificing quality or atmosphere. And all this at prices that won't break your vacation budget! If you're in Sayulita with kids (or without!), do yourself a favor and make Chaman a priority. It will likely become your favorite memory of the trip, just as it was for us.

La música relajada y en un sonido muy moderado permitiendo conversar . Lo mero bueno la comida 😏 llegamos para el bruch pedimos unos huevos benedictinos ( ricos en sabor y agradables a la vista ) en cuestión de la salsa holandesa agradable para los paladares a diferencias de otros lugares . Y unos chilaquiles con birria super llenadores !!!!!!. Un pan tostado con masa madre que estaba calientito . De tomar un capuchino y un blue agave creo ? Así se llama refrescante . Recomendado al 100 , cuentan con menú para niños y productos vegetarianos y libres de guten .

Muy lindo el lugar de noche con las luces, las plantas y los atrape sueños. Fuimos con mi familia un domingo y habia salsa y cumbia en vivo, hay espacio para bailar con muy buen ambiente. Pedimos el pescado del día y los camarones al ajo con verduras al pesto, comida muy equilibrada, sabrosa y ligera. Todo el staff muy cálido y profesional. Gracias al chaman y a todo el equipo por esta noche, la pasamos super bien :)

Muy recomendable Chaman, atiende Carlos un argentino muy buena onda. El lugar tiene precios regulares en comparación, pero la comida es muy buena, primero he probado los chilaquiles chaman y luego en otra oportunidad una hamburguesa. Ambas muy buenas!

Fabián y Fede destacan por su CALIDEZ al brindar un servicio amable y personalizado. Te hacen sentir especialmente BIENVENID@. Son esa sonrisa ligera y esa actitud humana que te invita a regresar una y otra vez. Los smoothies en las mañanas están muy ricos. El ambiente es acogedor y se nota que no escatiman en el espacio, pues hay suficiente distancia entre las mesas para hacerte sentir que les importa tu comodidad. Es interesante leer las frases motivacionales de cada piedra que colocan como centro de mesa. La comida está deliciosa!!! El salmón a la mostaza en su punto, la ensalada con excelente combinación de ingredientes y un vinagre balsámico especito que le da ese toque extra. De postres no te puedes perder el MOUSSE de CHOCOLATE , es una verdadera caricia al paladar!! Ahí mismo venden el vestido que usa la mesera, con ese diseño de cola tipo pavorreal que, independientemente del color que elijas, te hará lucir en cualquier lugar. Me lo chuleaban en todos lados! El "negrito del arroz" fue Frank, que después de dar nuestra mesa reservada a alguien más, lejos de disculparse se puso a regañarme por pedir una explicación. Afortunadamente la dueña, que es muy atenta y amable, andaba por ahí y puso remedio.

Desayunos increíbles en un jardín tropical muy agradable. En la zona más tranquila del pueblo. Las tortitas, deliciosas. El servicio muy agradable y profesional. Súper recomendable.

We spent a warm, relaxing four nights in Sayulita. The absolute highlight of our trip was our dinner at Chaman. The ambience is perfect, a garden with great landscaping and lighting. The food and service was over the top. My husband had the fish of the day and I had shrimp in a garlic sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked and the vegetables and sweet potato puree were the perfect accompaniment. Our waitress Tina (from Argentina!) offered friendly, professional service. This is a neighborhood gem that you should not miss!

Incredible restaurant with immaculate vibes. Food is amazing. I went for breakfast, dinner, and late night drinks. All of the food was delicious. The coffee was also top notch. And the bartenders were extremely generous. There’s often a live band playing at night. There are TVs under the Palapa bar as well. Highly recommend. Shout out to Fabian, Mar, and Benny for making our visits special. My wedding party throughly enjoyed this place.

Definitely lives up to expectations. I had the garlic shrimps with finely chopped guajillo peppers and veggies drizzled with pesto sauce. It was a great combination and very tasty. My husband had the beef burger and it was juicy and delicious. I was not crazy about the passion fruit margarita. It was a bit too tart for my taste. Would highly recommend.

We’ve been to Sayulita many times and always stay on the North side of town. Shaman is our go to restaurant and never disappoints! The staff are lovely, super friendly and accommodating and the food is so delicious (and great margaritas!) The outdoor restaurant is so cozy, relaxing and fun. A must visit!

A great place both for a food and for an evening drink. We were there probably four times during our stay in Sayulita, including twice for breakfast, and I have to say the mushroom omelet was excellent. The evening drinks were always fun as well a great vibe. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, especially Tina, who always took such good care of us. We truly highly recommend this place. They also have live music from time to time. The outdoor seating, the bar, the food, the staff, and the décor everything comes together to give this place a truly great atmosphere and an amazing vibe.

We came here for dinner. It was a short walk from where we were staying. It’s a beautiful little place. Staff is very accommodating and service is prompt. The food was delicious! Personally, my burger was easily in the Top 5 burgers I’ve had, and I live in the Midwest (U.S.) so that’s saying something. I had to order dessert, which was also superb, and the presentation beautiful. All-in-all it was a great dinner, and I’d stop again if in the area.

What an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the energy, the vibe, the hospitality.... everything was on point. The entire venue is outdoors with seating tucked beneath beautiful trees, glowing string lights and stunning dreamcatcher-style installations and chandeliers overhead. The atmosphere feels intimate, whimsical, and effortlessly chic; like you’ve stepped into an artful garden oasis. The art throughout the space is incredible, adding to the creative, soulful feel that makes this place so special. We didn’t have a reservation on New Year’s Eve (bold move, I know 😅), but after about a 30-minute wait at the bar, we were more than happy. The bar alone is an experience!! palomas and daiquiris crafted to perfection, festive, balanced and smooth. Not a bad way to start the night at all. Once seated, choosing what to order was the hardest part because everything sounded amazing. We landed on the hibiscus tacos, quesdillas and the burger and WOW absolutely delicious. Creative, flavorful, beautifully presented and truly memorable. I’ve walked by Chaman so many times for brunch and dinner, always saying “next time,” and I’m so glad we finally went. From the magical setting to the drinks, food, and art, this place delivers on every level. If you’ve been thinking about it, go. Make the reservation if you can. And if you don’t have one, grab a cocktail at the bar and enjoy the moment. 🌺✨🍹 We’ll absolutely be back.

We had a wonderful dinner here on our first night in town. We were made to feel comfortable and all silly tourist questions were asked. 2 for 1 margaritas started us off with some Sayulita Gauc on the side. Food came out fast and was delightful. We left so full just as the lice music was staring. We will be back and you should stop in too!

We had Tina as the hostess and server. She was excellent and professional. We met her when we had dinner here two nights ago and everything was excellent. The breakfast was perfect. Akaibo and gluten-free pancakes which were so tasteful. Would recommend anyone looking for breakfast lunch or dinner to come here and experience that's great restaurant.

If you’re looking for a beautiful ambience and outstanding hospitality you definitely need to visit Chaman. The house cocktails are out of this world…I personally recommend the Copal which is made with.homemade rosemary syrup, tequila and fresh kiwi. The staff are warm and welcoming and the owner Cecilia came up to talk to us personally and gave our puppy some food and water. Everyone made us feel so comfortable. Special shout out to Tina for her hospitality. You need to visit when in Sayulita.

You can’t ask for a better restaurant/ friendly bar on the north side of Sayulita. We came for breakfast, and we stayed for almost every other meal/moment. The beautiful boys at the bar treated us so nicely and respectfully and like family. They’re flirty and kind, just the right balance if you’re on a getaway with your sister. They had live music one night we were there with a heartfelt local band. If I end up moving here, chaman will become my home away from home for tequila or coffee or just a nice chat. This place has the absolute best shrimp in Sayulita!! Ate here 3 times on our 5 day trip because everything we had was incredible, and they were so accommodating with food allergies. Well marked menu, staff was easy to communicate with, and food and drinks came fast and were great portion sizes. Can't recommend this place enough!

Cute little place on the north side, just about a block away from our air bnb. Stopped here for breakfast on our way out of town. Food was great, I wish we would have stopped here sooner! I had green demon with a classic omelette with mushrooms, very tasty.

Had the vegetarian/vegan tacos, and they where just amazing. Full of taste. Even better with the (salsa?) sauce, but be careful, it's hot. Went here a bit early at 6pm, and there where only two couples here before me (so there was plenty of space). Happy hour in the morning and also in the evening. Some night have live music as well. Watch out for the sneaky mosquitos.

Nice option towards the north side of town, with a well laid out courtyard. Food was very good, with a mix of Mexican and fusion dishes. Drinks were good, but a bit pricier. Service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing.

Nada espectacular siendo honesta, muy caro para lo que brindan, agua natural pequeñita por $44 pesos mexicanos 🤣 En Sayulita encuentras mejores restaurantes sin sacrificar presupuesto. La atención es muy buena eso si, sin embargo, yo no regreso, este lugar va dirigido 100% a extranjeros.

Yo pedí un omelette con champiñones pero no tenía sazón a mis agos dijeron q sus huevos benedictinos eran aceptables y chilaquiles con birria dijo está bueno y si lo parecía lugar agradable

Fuimos con una expectativa muy alta a comer a este restaurante. Al final pero resultó una comida mediocre con un pulpo chicloso y cocteles pequeños y sin sabor a un precio extremadamente alto que no esta absolutamente en relación con la calidad de los platillos. Quedamos decepcionados…

tardan mil años en atenderte si no eres extranjero

Mi esposo y yo llegamos a pedir 2 margaritas ya qué se suponía que estaban al dos por uno de 4:00 pm a 6:00 pm. Llegamos a las 5:20 pm así que fue a esa hora que ordenamos, cuando pedimos el ticket aun faltaban algunos minutos para las seis ( terminamos rápido ya qué eran unas margaritas en vasos pequeños) Nos llevan el ticket a las 6 :03 así que ya no se hace valida la promoción. Cuando platicamos lo que nos había ocurrido nos dijeron que ese bar era famoso por esa razón.
