We spent a warm, relaxing four nights in Sayulita. The absolute highlight of our trip was our dinner at Chaman. The ambience is perfect, a garden with great landscaping and lighting. The food and service was over the top. My husband had the fish of the day and I had shrimp in a garlic sauce. The fish was perfectly cooked and the vegetables and sweet potato puree were the perfect accompaniment. Our waitress Tina (from Argentina!) offered friendly, professional service. This is a neighborhood gem that you should not miss!

Incredible restaurant with immaculate vibes. Food is amazing. I went for breakfast, dinner, and late night drinks. All of the food was delicious. The coffee was also top notch. And the bartenders were extremely generous. There’s often a live band playing at night. There are TVs under the Palapa bar as well. Highly recommend. Shout out to Fabian, Mar, and Benny for making our visits special. My wedding party throughly enjoyed this place.

Definitely lives up to expectations. I had the garlic shrimps with finely chopped guajillo peppers and veggies drizzled with pesto sauce. It was a great combination and very tasty. My husband had the beef burger and it was juicy and delicious. I was not crazy about the passion fruit margarita. It was a bit too tart for my taste. Would highly recommend.

We’ve been to Sayulita many times and always stay on the North side of town. Shaman is our go to restaurant and never disappoints! The staff are lovely, super friendly and accommodating and the food is so delicious (and great margaritas!) The outdoor restaurant is so cozy, relaxing and fun. A must visit!

A great place both for a food and for an evening drink. We were there probably four times during our stay in Sayulita, including twice for breakfast, and I have to say the mushroom omelet was excellent. The evening drinks were always fun as well a great vibe. The entire staff is incredibly friendly, especially Tina, who always took such good care of us. We truly highly recommend this place. They also have live music from time to time. The outdoor seating, the bar, the food, the staff, and the décor everything comes together to give this place a truly great atmosphere and an amazing vibe.

Our server, Leda was absolutely amazing! She made the experience Perfect! So kind, caring and helped us with directions and recommendations around town. She’s so great! Definitely ask for her if you come and tip her so well! She deserves it :)

We came here for dinner. It was a short walk from where we were staying. It’s a beautiful little place. Staff is very accommodating and service is prompt. The food was delicious! Personally, my burger was easily in the Top 5 burgers I’ve had, and I live in the Midwest (U.S.) so that’s saying something. I had to order dessert, which was also superb, and the presentation beautiful. All-in-all it was a great dinner, and I’d stop again if in the area.

What an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the energy, the vibe, the hospitality.... everything was on point. The entire venue is outdoors with seating tucked beneath beautiful trees, glowing string lights and stunning dreamcatcher-style installations and chandeliers overhead. The atmosphere feels intimate, whimsical, and effortlessly chic; like you’ve stepped into an artful garden oasis. The art throughout the space is incredible, adding to the creative, soulful feel that makes this place so special. We didn’t have a reservation on New Year’s Eve (bold move, I know 😅), but after about a 30-minute wait at the bar, we were more than happy. The bar alone is an experience!! palomas and daiquiris crafted to perfection, festive, balanced and smooth. Not a bad way to start the night at all. Once seated, choosing what to order was the hardest part because everything sounded amazing. We landed on the hibiscus tacos, quesdillas and the burger and WOW absolutely delicious. Creative, flavorful, beautifully presented and truly memorable. I’ve walked by Chaman so many times for brunch and dinner, always saying “next time,” and I’m so glad we finally went. From the magical setting to the drinks, food, and art, this place delivers on every level. If you’ve been thinking about it, go. Make the reservation if you can. And if you don’t have one, grab a cocktail at the bar and enjoy the moment. 🌺✨🍹 We’ll absolutely be back.

We had a wonderful dinner here on our first night in town. We were made to feel comfortable and all silly tourist questions were asked. 2 for 1 margaritas started us off with some Sayulita Gauc on the side. Food came out fast and was delightful. We left so full just as the lice music was staring. We will be back and you should stop in too!

We had Tina as the hostess and server. She was excellent and professional. We met her when we had dinner here two nights ago and everything was excellent. The breakfast was perfect. Akaibo and gluten-free pancakes which were so tasteful. Would recommend anyone looking for breakfast lunch or dinner to come here and experience that's great restaurant.
