I've lived in Philly, NYC, and D.C., and this is the best pizza in the greater Albany area, hands down. I don't know how they do it but they do a great NY style pizza with a thin yet chewy yet crispy crust. They also do a lot of smoothies, juices, custom salads, and sandwiches. The salads are some of the freshest I've had dining out. Very casual eating area but a hidden gem.

My first visit on 2-9-16 and won't be my last. We ordered an 8 cut Pizza half sausage, half mushroom.(mushrooms were fresh not from a can). Sausage was one of my favorites possibly Sindonis? Crust was thin and Browned to perfection. Sauce and cheese made for a delicious pizza

Fresh food and good food! The ingredients in the pizza standout as lot of it is grassfed, fresh seasonings and herbs, etc... The owner and staff are very personable and accommodating. My kids also like coming to this restaurant because there is a play kitchen and other toys right next to the eating area. It's a great small business, and we love supporting it

Ive been a frequent customer of Buonos and i have to say that i’ve never left dissappointed, i recently took a look at their reviews and saw some bad ones, talked to Christine the owner and she let me know that these reviews are false and someone is trying to hurt their business, thats why i decided to write an honest one myself!

Whenever I get pizza from here it is always consistent. The ingredients are pure and authentic. In addition, their wings with garlic and Parmesan are absolutely delicious! Would most definitely recommend this place for a good meal!

The best pizza I've had since moving to this area 15 years ago! I only wish I lived closer so I could have Pizza Buona more often. There's something special about the sauce. Tastes as fresh and good as pizza I had in Florence and Rome. Good stuff!

We had seen this place often when driving by union street. We finally decided to pop in to check things out. We were not disappointed. The store is located on VanAntwerp and upper union street. They are located in the corner of a mini mall commercial property. The store has darkly tinted windows advertising a bakery, pizza and smoothies. Once inside, the store is bright, Clean and spacious. On the menu Wall were listed various fresh homemade smoothies ranging from a vegan cleanse to a sugar free fruit smoothie alternative. After discussing the power of juicing with proprietor Christine, who happens to be a licensed nutritionist, made some recommendations as to what smoothie to experience based upon what our bodily requires. I had a tumeric, honey, ginger smoothie that helps with inflammation and joint pain. My companion ordered a 4 berry antioxidant smoothly made with almond milk. Both were incredibly delicious and quite affordable ($6-$8 ea.) Next was to peruse the homemade in house baked goods located in the bakery section of the store. Cheese cake, pies and a variety of other goodies awaits one in The dessert cooler. Finally, the Italian American delight's are all made on premises with unbleached flour. Lasagna, chicken parm and a mouth watering array of pizza is also available. Check out this quiet corner of upper union street in Schenectady, NY( I'll gladly do away with the the pretense calling this location niskayuna when they are in Schenectady- get over it) it's a beautiful place with a friendly proprietor and a wealth of delicious nutritious food. Check it out!

Christine is a certified nutritionist who knows her stuff. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and spices and organic EVERYTHING. She even makes the pizza non GMO and as healthy as possible. Strongly suggest everyone go, she serves everything with a smile!

Frist time here hot a 12 square cut and 10Honey BBQ chicken wings. Guys ate the 🍕 pizza, I love the winds with alot of sauce. It is better then Pizza hut . Try it out!!!

All i can say is BEST PIZZA EVER! My son and i stopped into pizza buono for our first time tonight and i don't think I'll ever be able to eat pizza from anywhere else after eating here and i love pizza! The lady who i assume is the owner was absolutely knowledgeable and conscious about the ingredients used in their products! Such a friendly atmosphere, my son and i can't wait to go back so we can try their elderberry syrup! We live 40 mins away but hands down will be our new pizza place! If i could give pizza buono a 10 star rating I would without question!

This is really good pizza for the upstate Schenectady area. It's always ready early, so they over promise on time. Crust is wee bit doughy, but nice and thin with decent toppings. We are usually a standard one pepperoni and one plain pie kinda family, so I can't speak for other pies or menu items. I will try an eggplant parm sub next. This is our close, go to pie joint ...

I really liked the food. Broccoli, sausage and cheese roll was excellent. The seating was a little cramped, and secluded. Some may like that, I perhaps would in the evening, but for lunch it was uncomfortable. Overall a good place though. I'll eat there again.

Not sure how I feel about this pizza… the sauce was very sour…. Like other ingredients were ok but the sauce ruined it for me. Sadly.

Pizza was just ok. Garlic knots were oily and not terribly flavorful. Also $25 was a bit much for a single topping pizza that wasn’t a large. Ladies were super nice who worked there.

I would not recommend unless there prices come way down and unless they become accurate with their cooking/wait time.

By far the worst pizza I’ve ever had. The wings were ok, but I wasted a whole Stromboli. I took one bite and spit it out. Horrible!!

As I entered this establishment I was totally confused, there were menu boards everywhere. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken for myself and a slice of cheese pizza for my daughter.....I was charged $19!!!! The pizza was gross.... dry, burned, and tasted sour. The Greek salad was more like a garden salad and had chunks of carrots and peppers, and the chicken was cold and had no flavor. I won't be going back #sorrynotsorry #overpriced

Jumbo wings were all very tiny. As tiny as my pinky. The wings were tough, dry and hard to chew. The pizza was very slimy and wet on the inside. By far, the worst pizza I have had.

Did not receive items delivered, but the young woman said it was ok because “she didn’t get paid” for it. I have just moved back to the area after many years and thought it would be good to try out a new business.... I will re-think it. Go elsewhere, folks!! The staff is ignorant!
