Excellent breakfast tacos!! Chimi hot sauce is probably the best flavorful and spicy hot sauce you’ll ever have.

Melanie’s is a hidden gem. Don’t skip this little Mexican restaurant for some good comfort food. Their breakfast tacos are the best in the area. Breakfast plates are yummy too.

Food is very authentic Mexican with generous portions. Their rancheros sauce is first rate! Small facility and tables but clean. Drive through is popular, but all dirt and tight corners and no protection from rain. Overall, if you want authentic Mexican food it’s great! If you want fancy atmosphere and new digs, keep looking.

Love this restaurant. Go there a few times a month when I'm in the area. Best carnie guisada tacos anywhere in my opinion.

The chips and salsa were good. The fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and guacamole were good. The main course was very average. I had the chicken with mushrooms, cheese and peppers. The food was not on par with Ray's or Chuy's.

Food was good, the atmosphere is nice, unfortunately the service was not so good. Our server was slow and that could be because of the cook but she could of made sure our drinks stayed full. Our food was cold when we received our plates so that kinda tells me it wasn't the cook. Then when you get the bill, usually the server leaves a pen so you can fill out the bill but no pen I had to ask for a pen. This was our first visit here and we plan on giving it another chance maybe our server was new to this kinda work. Hopefully our fajitas will be hot next time.

This is my first time here and I went through the drive thru. Parking was very cramped and I just had a horrible all around experience. Three times I was almost hit by people trying to leave. People driving around the corner to the drive thru area. It was pretty bad. The tacos were decent but not worth the experience going thru the drive thru. I bought potato and egg, chorizo and egg and bacon and egg tacos. I probably won't be back but i will continue my search for good tacos in the schertz, cibolo, Selma area.

Had to ask for more coffee, even though coffee was going to other tables. Then, we had to wait for our corn tortillas that were a little crisp. Limited breakfast menu.

Ordered delivery and pretty sad the attention to detail. Not a single tortilla even though the meal comes with it. Missing a side of bacon that was ordered. Bad customer service. You don’t get what you paid for. Beware.

The mole chicken enchiladas were decent. The salsa and chips were pretty awful. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted like garlic juice. My wait staff was fine but employees on break were sitting in main dining area watching videos on their phones with the volume up. I’m all for people needing break time, but get some headphones please. Price was reasonable. They had a B health inspection rating posted.

Check your order because 80% of the time it’s wrong through the drive thru. Inside and drive thru service they are rude. They need to treat their customers better and appreciate they have business and get orders right. When addressed no care in the world.

Came in with positive thoughts, the place was packed. Ordered and had several people come in after us, almost an hour later and still no food. When we asked we were told it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes for our food to be ready!! 1.5 hours for tacos!? Seemed like our waiter was prioritizing the orders of people he knew. We walked out

I ordered breakfast for my family this morning, along with an order of Huevos Rancheros with bacon myself. My order was missing both the bacon and the potatoes - which, if you now anything about Huevos Racheros, is literally HALF of the meal. When I called to speak to the manager to get a refund, she kept trying to redirect me to get store credit instead of simply refunding me my money. When I told her I didn’t want store credit and just wanted my money back for the order, she claimed I’d have to return to the store and show her the credit card I paid with in order to receive my refund. Anyone who’s ever ordered anything from anywhere knows that THAT is not true. This is the first and last time I will order from this establishment. The manager lacks integrity and the workers are clearly undertrained if they’re forgetting HALF of what an order consists of. This could have easily been resolved with just giving me my refund and respecting me as a customer, but clearly this restaurant needs a course on correct customer service.
