Beautiful restaurant, amazing vibes, live music! Came to check out to possibly host a wedding event here and we were blown away with the atmosphere. We were serviced and checked on by every staff member nearby, we felt very well taken care of. Will be looking further into hosting an event here!

Stopped here to check out the conferences rooms and hotel rooms for a future work event and this place has character - very well done! We didn’t explore too much of the menu. We had the mezcal Paloma and mango chili margarita, both were awesome! We had the scallop cruddo and Greek fries and enjoyed both! Service was great! (We sat at the bar). Definitely has a happening vibe with good music, food and drinks! Decor adds to it all! Cheers!

Great restaurant with an amazing vibe. Food was unique but very good and flavorful. Cam was our server and she was very attentive with great recommendations. The key lime dessert was unique and delish.

Mason and Autumn were so attentive! Our experience at Cala was amazing, we had a group of 30+ people and we have everything we needed and more. Definitely will be coming back and would highly recommend!

Cala Scottsdale is a trendy and hot spot that I would recommend if in Scottsdale or if visiting. I recently visited with my girlfriends, and it was a fantastic experience. We had a reservation with no wait time, which was great. We were celebrating a bachelorette party and received complimentary drinks upon arrival, adding a special touch to our celebration. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, and it was clear that many bridal parties were celebrating there—there were countless bridal celebrations taking place. Our server was attentive, polite, and absolutely nice, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a memorable and enjoyable outing, and would stop by if ever in town.

I got pasta, it was a little overcooked but the flavor was great. The salmon was SO good, and I don’t even like seafood. The people who were waiting on us were so sweet, and so nice.

Our server Gabriella was great! Very attentive and friendly. Super cute girl. We had a great time and would recommend friends who travel here from out of town.

Currently sitting down for their absolute fantastic happy hour second day in a row. I normally only ever drink Prosecco. I had the blood orange spritz and the cucumber mist. Both so yummy. The happy hour prices are amazing. The lamb kofta and veggie plate with their homemade tzatziki were delicious. The pizzas looked amazing so back today for that. I’m staying at the hotel so had breakfast here as well and it was delicious!! I almost ate my whole plate for the first time in years. This place is 5/5 for food drinks service and loved the vibe as well

My friend and I finally made it to Cala and it was to celebrate my birthday. I had the espresso martini and it was creamy goodness. My friend had the tasty and refreshing Plum Spritz. All the food was absolutely delicious! We had the whipped ricotta and lamb kofta to start from the Happy Hour menu. Then we shared the Caesar salad and Lumacha Alla Vodka. The delicious meal was finished off with a tasty key limeish dessert that was brought out with a sparkler for my birthday. I would recommend all of these items and would go back to have them all again. Our servers, Forrest and Lauren really contributed to our overall great experience. They were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. When a fly decided to enjoy the whipped ricotta with us, we said there was no need to replace it, but Forrest insisted replacing it quickly by showing up with a fresh plate of whipped ricotta. The restaurant is simple yet beautifully decorated with a calm relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Cala for the food, service, ambiance, and overall experience.

We came here for my sister’s bachelorette and it was amazing! Our server, Forest, was very tentative and well mannered. He made sure the Bride felt special and made sure we were well taken care of! Very highly recommend! Great atmosphere and beautiful restaurant overall! Food was AMAZING!

My first time here and it was such a great experience. The waiter Max was so good. Made the experience even better. The bartender even came over to give me a drink to try. Loved the food as well. Definitely coming back.

Came to enjoy Happy Hour and had a great time. Good drinks and the food was delicious! Planning to come back to try the rest of the menu!

Overall we had a great evening! Perfect nite for the patio and atmosphere was enjoyable. We started off with the meat and cheese platter scallops and shrimp cocktail for appetizers. All very tasty, scallops were awesome- delicious kick to sauce and served super chilled. Grilled shrimp was a nice change from ordinary shrimp cocktails. We had Moroccan chicken, tasty but would have liked a little more seasoning- not salt but herbs. Pork chop was large and tasty, swordfish was very good and super large enough for 2 to enjoy. Special pistachio and chocolate macaroon was plated just right and very interesting with drizzle of olive oil and champagne vinegar. Good drinks from the bar too. Definitely a place to check out. We live in town and ut was our 1st time.

What an amazing restaurant!! Kali was so sweet and had the best recommendations. I wish I lived here just so I could get the peanut butter bomb every night. Very cute place with cute drinks as well!

Not sure about everyone else’s experiences and low ratings, but we had an excellent evening with delicious food and great and attentive wait staff. I had the Pork Milanese and it was outstanding. Make sure you try the Flaming Nagasaki! All the other dishes in our party also looked great. Would definitely come again.

Absolutely immaculate. From the service to the amazing cocktails to the incredible food. Everything was on point. You would have thought Vanderpump herself was involved with the restaurant and bar. We will absolutely be back to try everything on the menus.

Booked a reservation to eat breakfast here at 8 am. It was nice that I went early as the place was nearly empty and I got a huge outdoor table to myself, which was really nice (and no wait time). The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous and inviting. I loved the soft music they played as breakfast was being served. I ended up getting the Farmstead Breakfast and it surpassed my expectations, I mean it was really good. They knew I was there celebrating my birthday and surprised me with ice cream and a fire cracker, it was super cute. Thank you for such quick and warm service for breakfast.

Such a cool vibe from the moment you step in.. Recommend the Sonoran Swings; Tequila, mango, agave, Red Bull and jalapeños. Need I say more, delish! I’m very particular about how chicken is cooked so I don’t order it often, but I tried the herb roasted chicken, and it was unbelievably tender and juicy with so much flavor.

We had a big group come in for a birthday party and Manny was the best! He took control of the experience and was very quick with our orders and literally made the best experience for us. Jordyn, the GM, was also a great part of our experience - she was so nice and hospitable! Honestly the best spot for a birthday brunch.

We had a wonderful time here! The ambience was beautiful which was a great plus. Food was actually really good as well! More “upscale” pricing. There’s definitely lower end priced items $18-$25 but I splurged and I got mocktail, appetizer, and entree spending around $50. The Greek fries were very yummy, and pizza crust was delicious.

Wes facilitated a great experience for my group and I. We came in for brunch with a reservation and he was our server. He provided excellent recommendations and was incredibly personable. If you can, request Wes as your server if you’re a first-timer and he will make your experience memorable.

Cala delivers a strong overall dining experience. The service was attentive, professional, and well-paced throughout the evening. Our server, Alyx, stood out in particular—knowledgeable about the menu, personable, and attentive without being intrusive. She made the experience feel seamless from start to finish. The food was solid across the board—well-prepared, flavorful, and nicely presented. While nothing was overly experimental, the dishes were executed consistently and enjoyable. Overall, Cala offers a polished atmosphere with dependable quality and service that truly elevates the experience. A strong choice for a relaxed but elevated night out in Scottsdale.

Booking a table online was a breeze, and the great service continued the moment we walked through the door. We were greeted with a warm smile and seated right away. Our waiter was absolutely on point-attentive without being intrusive, keeping our waters filled and checking in just enough to make sure everything was perfect. My wife ordered the Salmon, cooked flawlessly, and I went with the lamb shank, which turned out to be one of the best I’ve ever had. Every bite was exceptional. Cala Delivered on all fronts-service, atmosphere and incredible food will definitely be back.

Recently had a graduation from apprenticeship. I got in touch with Ashley. She was very responsive and helpful when reserving for a group of 25. Everyone that joined that evening was very happy and we appreciate the attentiveness of all of the hostess, servers, every employee we came in contact with was great. The atmosphere was perfect. The food options for the set menu were great. Everyone loved the food. The drinks were great. We would definitely come back again thank you Ashley for ensuring that we had a great time.

Their seafood was suprisingly amazing given it is AZ. Oysters were small but great tasting and shrimp cocktail was perfect. Their desserts are awesome! Great cocktails and espresso martinis. Servers are a bit rough for the place. They definitely could be more polished. Its higher end/$$$. The atmosphere is awesome.... beautiful decor. Nice to have this inside the hotel, which was equally fabulous.

It was a great experience! Our server Kim was so nice and very professional. The hostess was lovely and super friendly. The food was delicious and had a different but very well done slant to a regular brunch menu. Two thumbs up!

Our server Nikki was a queen! She was so attentive and supportive. She really made us feel seen and heard. You guys have a great employee! Also, the food and vibes were great!

The service and atmosphere were great—fun, lively, and just a bit loud, but still enjoyable. We celebrated a birthday here, and the seating made it easy for our whole group to chat comfortably. Huge kudos to the hostess for accommodating extra guests who arrived unexpectedly; she moved us to a larger table right away, and our server continued to take excellent care of us. The appetizers were the standout—especially the meatballs and the whipped ricotta. The pork cutlet was served hot, which I really appreciated. And the birthday treat was such a fun surprise: it came out with a sparkler and the dessert was absolutely delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and overall it’s a festive, memorable spot for a birthday celebration.

I loved the service especially I like when Autum gave us new plates after our appetisers, explained every entrees in detail. Overall very good experience.

Service was outstanding!! Gabby was so sweet, explain the menu well and did an amazing job waiting on us!!! Atmosphere had a great vibe - definitely and it spot! A little loud for “older” clientele but fun people watching and crowds of all kinds! Definitely a spot to eat when in town!

This was more of a club vibe with seating and food. The wait staff were very nice and the food was good. The music was loud. They did have a live DJ who played some great songs. Parking was hard to find if you don't valet.

Came for a date night dinner with friends. The restaurant is certainly beautiful and we were seated at an outside patio table with beautiful weather under the stars. With all that, we were expecting something really great and it just didn't come. I had the lemon chicken and hubby had rigatoni Bolognese. Edible, but nothing to write home about. Both of these were Italian dishes, but served with no bread. Therefore, we had to ask our server if we could have some bread and, by far, the most disappointing thing was the bread that was eventually provided. It was a very small portion, two slices of something unidentifiable, and they used some sort of strange method to toast it. It was seriously as if you asked a 5-year-old to make you some toast served in a bowl. I've honestly never seen this kind of bread service in an upscale restaurant. I know that there are great bakeries in Scottsdale that make great bread. Why this restaurant is not using those bakeries is beyond me. But if you're going to do this bread service and charge people for it, you really need to step up your game. Even the awkward flatbread served with the hummus was better!

Tried Cala for the first time for a friend’s birthday. It’s a very lively environment for a Saturday night and we got seated in the patio where the music was SO loud you almost have to yell across the table. Their cocktails were strong and they even offered some tasty mocktails. Appetizers came out pretty quickly but took about 35 minutes to get our dinner entrées. We didn’t even have a chance to get dessert for the birthday girl because they were taking forever so we went elsewhere.

Great atmosphere but came when it wasnt busy and yet had very little service. We saw a bunch of fries coming out to different tables and the tables next to us had fries on their plates and what we could tell were sides of fries as well and when we asked if we could order fries our waiter said they werent on the menu. I also ordered huevos rancheros and when it came out it looked delicious but was incredibly dry. The huevos rancheros has no ranchero ie no salsa or anything. I asked for salsa which is clearly listed on the menu as coming with the breakfast burrito and i again was told it wasnt on the menu. As well, the huevos rancheros is supposed to come with sunnyside up and it was so hard so didnt even have the moisture from the eggs to shovel it down. I was offered hot sauce and salt.

We had a horrible experience. This is the second time I’ve been to Cala with a very similar experience both times. I made reservations in advance for myself and a few physicians from out of town. Both times we were seated in the bar area which has loud music and not the same ambiance as the restaurant side with open outdoor/indoor seating. There were open tables on the restaurant side that I could see but the hostess said they were saved for another reservation/party. One of the tables sat unused through our entire dinner. The hostesses were rude and acted put out when I requested another table and told us we’d have to wait an hour. We ultimately had to sit in the bar area. We were not able to have good conversation and had to yell just to hear each other. I will not go back to this restaurant. Scottsdale has a lot of beautiful restaurants with much better customer service, but Cala is not one of them. Very disappointed TWICE.

I’m honestly so disappointed with our experience. I was super excited to try this restaurant and had been looking forward to it for my birthday dinner, which makes this even more upsetting. The food was actually really good but the service completely ruined the night. Our waiter was incredibly rude from the start. She spilled water on us and didn’t even apologize. Not once. No “I’m sorry,” no acknowledgment, nothing. It was awkward and completely unprofessional. Throughout the entire dinner, she had zero manners and treated us noticeably differently. We felt judged and dismissed the entire time. This was supposed to be my birthday dinner. I made sure to note it in the reservation multiple times and even mentioned it again when we arrived. Not once did I get a smile, a “happy birthday,” or any acknowledgment at all. For a restaurant that presents itself as nice and upscale, the lack of basic hospitality was shocking. We were barely checked on and did not feel taken care of. The energy was cold the entire night. The food may have been good, but the service was absolutely horrible and completely overshadowed the experience. It honestly ruined my birthday dinner. For the prices and reputation, we expected professionalism and kindness — not to be treated poorly. Extremely disappointing.
