Kyle was my server, and he did such a great job. I was so tired and stressed and just wanted to relax. Kyle asked me how my day was and I said sooo long, and he left alone to my own thoughts. He recommend some chocolate desert and it was great.
Sat at the bar. Excellent for and our bartender was super great also love the atmosphere ❤️
This was a great place to eat. The food was so good and the service was excellent.
We got here right at opening. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious, and if you're not a seafood lover, there's things on the menu for you as well, and our waiter Zach was very intuitive
We had a very nice early lunch. The food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. It was early so there was not a whole lot of people there, but even if there was the area very spacious. The only thing that I did not like was the catfish but that’s just personal preference I’m not a big catfish person. There’s only a handful places that I’ll eat it at, but I did order the Battleship which included catfish. It was a great dish. my husband did like the catfish. It was big enough to share between the two of us. My daughter ordered the coconut shrimp which she enjoyed and my son ordered the shrimp Alfredo, which he thought was very good as well.
Had lunch at Tookies. Being noon time on a Friday, we ordered off of the lunch Menu. I had blackened fish with shrimp etoffee, dirty rice and grilled fresh vegetables for just over 13 dollars. Wife has fried shrimp with fries for around 10 dollars. Portions were plenty for us and the food was delicious. Our waiter was top notch. All in all it was a great dining experience.
Service was good and fast. The inside of the restaurant was large and spread out on the second floor. The tacos were so yummy! Raw tuna, so not for everyone, but the crunch of the wonton shell along with the sauce/salsa was delicious. We also shared a dozen oysters on the half shell and they were fresh and well sized (not too small), the gumbo was also very flavorful and to our liking. I will definitely stop by if I am in the area again in the future!
Seafood Fondue 🫕 was TOP TEIR. The Crab was the best around. Ceasar Salad Awsome. The food was all absolutely amazing. They have a Full Bar. The young lady helping us was WONDERFUL. She's from Louisiana and has a December birthday. Best service we've recieved in so long. We actually had just left a different restaurant after waiting an hour with no food or service......this server wasn't even aware of our situation but she TOTAL changed our night around. Will definitely be back regularly!
Great place for food and drink! The food was outstanding! Our server, Daisy, was friendly and attentive and was able to answer all our questions. There wasn't as much mango on my salad as I would have liked but the flavors were delicious nonetheless. The crab cake was amazing! We will definitely be back to try more of their fare! Thank you, Tookies!
Came here for lunch with my family. We were quickly seated and had a waiter come right to us. Our waiter was attentive throughout the visit. For appetizers we had the fondue and boudin balls. Both were really good. I ordered the Louisiana Stuffed Catfish with crawfish etouffee, dirty rice and veggies. The food was seasoned to perfection and the veggies cooked perfectly. Well worth the 45 minute drive!!
Shawn was our server and he was phenomenal. Shrimp was good, crab cakes were big, dense, and delicious. Mac and cheese was mid. Tartar sauce was really good. The brownie dessert thing was amazing. And the Dr Pepper... I love fountain dr pepper but this was exceptionally good. They must take really good care and clean the fountains daily. Would recommend.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tookie’s in Seabrook is the kind of Gulf Coast gem that makes you want to grab everyone you know and say, “You HAVE to eat here!” My wife, mother-in-law, and I walked in on a busy night and were seated right away. Our server, Tony, was on the ball — friendly, fast, and the kind of guy who makes you feel like you’ve been coming here for years. We started with a dozen raw oysters on the half shell that were plump, briny, and kissed with just the right saltwater snap. Add in the deviled eggs topped with mesquite-grilled shrimp and you’ve got a starter that screams Texas coastal charm. Sure, the deviled egg filling could have used a little more kick, but those shrimp were worth writing home about. Then came the moment of truth: my grilled Texas Redfish. Oh my. The mesquite smoke danced over the fish without overpowering it, locking in that seasoning like a secret handshake between chef and flame. Paired with crisp, colorful summer veggies, it was easily the best redfish I’ve ever eaten. My wife’s seared tuna salad was so fresh and vibrant it needed no extra words — she just smiled with every bite. My mother-in-law’s shrimp scampi had her grinning ear to ear, the garlic butter mingling perfectly with tender shrimp and those same summer veggies. This isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a place where the Gulf breeze meets mesquite smoke, where seafood is treated with respect, and where the staff makes you feel like part of the family. Whether you’re a party of two or a crowd, Tookie’s is ready to make your night special. We’ll be back. Oh yes, we’ll be back. — Mike “Big Chief” Hiatt, host of The Whiskey Trip podcast
My wife and I went to Tookie’s Seafood Friday night for an early dinner. I wish I could remember my waitress’s name but she was very pleasant, polite and informative. We shared had the Fried Calamari & Jalapeños as an appetizer with 2 Cajun Queens for our entrees. Everything was fresh and full of flavor, reminded me of being home in New Orleans. I enjoyed everything about our visit and will definitely be back the next time I’m in town!
Fast preparation. Wide selection of choices. Neat clean and well balanced and executed. Pleasant waitress who clearly knows the menu and how things are prepared.

I had never heard of this restaurant until my son mentioned he wanted to have dinner there. I’m glad we went. Food and drinks were great. Fried or grilled, the food was fantastic.

Étouffée Plate was so good. I also tried the pasta, gumbo, shrimp devil eggs & pecan cheese cake. The devil eggs on the shrimp was really good but I prob would only and definitely go back for the strawberry lemonade mocktail & that étouffée plate. The greens and baked potato was advised by my waiter to try and he did not miss. Those sides both were delicious. I’ll be back for that and I want to try their real drinks :) It was peaceful and welcoming inside and nice parking lot.
Very good food (I had the shrimp tacos, rice and black beans) and really great and fast service - especially with a group of 21! Fun atmosphere too! I will return.

Good food , nice atmosphere, and service is mid. \n\nCan't go wrong with this place if you want something priced fair and nothing over the top.
Great food, friendly service, and relaxed ambience. Really good spot to enjoy a meal with friends/family.

Cool vibe, but in all honesty, I’m completely disappointed. I got a fried fish and oyster Poboy. The catfish was one small and very thin fillet that spent way too long in the fryer. It was dry and crunchy. The four or five small oysters were mostly cornmeal with a chewy center. The day-old french bread was even tougher to chew than oysters. The tomatoes were bland and the overbearing remoulade sauce tasted like horseradish with a generous squirt of thousand island. Thanks but no thanks… I’ll stick with their hamburger joint just down the road. PS - this excuse of a sandwich (just water to drink) was $17.31 before tip.
This place is okay at best. I would suggest skipping the deviled eggs topped with shrimp. The devil eggs were good, but the shrimp was tough. The fried alligator was also tough. Eveeything else we had was pretty good but over all, the price of the food for the quality doesn't match up. Nothing about this place would bring me back.
Tookies is a casual seafood spot that serves up pretty typical fare — fried shrimp, fish baskets, and other coastal staples. The portions were decent and priced reasonably for what you get. The food itself wasn’t anything remarkable, but it hit the spot if you’re just looking for a laid-back seafood meal. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the experience enjoyable despite a few shortcomings. My only real disappointment was the Long Island during happy hour — it tasted more like sour mix than anything else, with barely a hint of liquor. Definitely not the drink to order there.Overall, Tookies isn’t the place for a fancy night out, but it’s a solid choice if you want casual seafood and good service. I’d probably go back again for a no-frills meal or a quick drink with friends.
This was my 1st time and I was super excited to eat here. The atmosphere was great and service was on point, however, for me and my family, the food was lacking. The overall flavor just wasn't what we anticipated. The stuffing in the stuffed shrimp was a little mushy maybe undercooked, the stuffed catfish needed some seasoning and the poboy wasn't anything exciting. Now we did enjoy the fried pickles! Let me say, the food was not terrible it was just under seasoned for our taste buds.
The oyster and the snow crab overcooked. Probably because they busy for Thursday special ( snow crab $14.99 for 1 claw) Calamari perfect. The host not friendly at all.. she’s not greeting, no smile and walk so slow to the table like no energy. Server not go great also. I just stop by after visited Kemah board walk.
