We've been twice in the last few weeks. We had the sword fish dish in the halibut dish and both were perfect.. we liked the Austrian white wine but I'd like to see a CHABLIS or French burgundy option. Got a chance to see the kitchen and break down area and it was immaculate and all the fish looked incredibly fresh. Looking forward to trying to chowder and maybe the crudo next time. Acoustics can be a bit on the loud side would be my only criticism.

We absolutely loved our meal, the service and vibe here. It’s our first time but won’t be the last. We had the grilled White Sea bass. Generous portion. The salad was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and have a little more of this lovely freshness!!

The freshest fish tacos I ever had.

The best seafood I’ve had in a long time! It’s absolutely beautiful inside! The aesthetics and menu are perfect for a nice date night and the vibes are still chill enough for a mellow hang to watch the game with a friend. I will be back for sure! Highly recommend the chefs choice crudo, ceviche, seaweed salad, stew, and fish n chips. It was all so fresh, the presentation was gorgeous & the flavors were on point.

Highly recommended. It's incredibly delicious here. A rare European-style place in America. The dishes are simply presented, perfectly showcasing the flavor of the fish itself, and you can complement that flavor with amazing sauces. The atmosphere is calm and stylish.

Had a great lunch today worthy of 5 stars. Chad the owner was there and it was awesome to see how much he truly cares about his restaurant. They customized our menus from the reservation note, the service was good, the food was good, the restaurant is clean and esthetic. I worked for years in hospitality and can say they are doing things correctly.

Winner, winner, seafood dinner! I recently won a raffle at a golf fundraiser where I met Chad and tried his seared ahi fish tacos for the first time. The taco was a hole in one! Presentation to portion size were on point. I took my wife and some friends to dine at the restaurant last night and Chad outdid himself again. Friendly and personable service staff with killer decor to boot. We started with the charred edamame and ceviche apps. Both set the stage perfectly for the main entrees. Next, we tried the ahi fish sandwich, the halibut plate, ono fish tacos, and jumbo lump crab roll. (Sorry, we missed a few snaps because we were so eager to eat the food). The freshness and flavor profiles are unmatched. Let's just say there were no "to-go" boxes needed! So if you're looking for the freshest fish in town with a small beachside vibe, Pacific Coast Fish is where it's at! Be sure to make a rezy, the place was packed by 6:00 pm. Looking forward to going back soon.

Fresh catch fish in a casual yet modern atmosphere. The restaurant is located inside the Vons strip mall. The fresh catches change daily but when we went they had Catalina halibut, Hawaiian swordfish, and Santa Barbara rockfish among other choices. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The fish was well cooked and the Dungeness crab sandwich had a lot of crab. We also tried the key lime pie which was great. Would definitely return here!

So happy we discovered this gem, everything was so delicious, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was great. I wish we had discovered this place earlier, because there are no decent seafood places in the area and this one is definitely THE PLACE. Highly recommend!!

Amazing! That’s definitely the word to describe this restaurant. The most incredible sashimi I’ve ever had, super fresh and delicious! They have their own fisherman to supply daily for their fish and seafood, if you care about food freshness and quality, highly recommend you to go and try!

Wife had the Fish Tacos. She says the best she ever had. Reminds her of the fresh fish we got in Hawaii. I chose Fish & Chips. It's my go-to for trying any new seafood places to see how they measure up. This place definitely tops the charts in my book. The batter was crisp and not dark like you can get from old oil. The batter and fish ratio was perfect. They didn't seperate from each other like some not so fresh places you get. Tar-Tar sauce was also delicious. Overall would highly recommend. I overheard they're newer to the neighborhood. Great first impression. Vibe is chill. Music isnt too loud I can have a conversation.

Amazing! Fantastic service and the food was absolutely incredible. One really cool aspect is that when they tell you what type of fish they have, they tell you when it was caught, how it was caught and where it was caught. For example, the swordfish sandwich I had was harpooned off Catalina on Sunday (today is Wednesday). The halibut tacos and halibut fish and chips were great too (my wife and mother in law had them).

Had the grilled fish sandwich. It was a nice piece of the catch of the day. It was grilled perfect. It was placed on a fresh roll with lettuce, tomato, onion and a very good sauce. It was served with fries. We upgraded it to truffle parmesean fries. They were delicious. Our server was very good. The food came quickly. We will go back!

It's very reasonably priced, not too big of a splurge but you're definitely getting a high quality dining experience. We had a great time, will definitely return!
