Living a Chloe has been a dream from day one. In terms of our apartment my partner and I love: the high ceiling, great sound isolation (we love listening to music and not bothering our neighbors), all the high end kitchen and bathroom appliances, and the in unit AC. We both work from home and love eating in, so it adapts perfectly to our needs. In terms of the Chloe building: the rooftop and fire pit are to dream for, we love hosting friends and it’s great for entertaining. I recently rented the events room for my birthday and all my guests were very impressed by how pretty and modern the building is. Also, my dog loves the spaces and how doggie friendly it is everywhere. Lastly, I’m so grateful for the leasing team. Nooren, Amelia and Dovante always welcome me with a big smile and are ready to go above and beyond when I have a question or request. They’re on top of their game. I feel very lucky and thankful to live in a place like Chloe on Madison.

We recently moved into Chloe and it has been great! The move was easy and the staff were so helpful. The amenities are perfect! The gym is big enough for a great workout, and the rooftop is beyond beautiful! I honestly would recommend this community to everyone. Thank you Chloe staff for making this place home for us! We appreciate you! Also they are the BEST when it comes to resident appreciation! Today is Valentine’s Day and they left a cute little candy gram on our door. 💕

2nd week living here, like it a lot! It's a brand new apartment complex that is close to lots of fun places, restaurants, bars, and also super close to many grocery stores, coffee shops! The building is well maintained, always clean, great amenities. The leasing office staff is very friendly and helpful, and we also have very nice neighbors and cute 4-legged friends! Great place to live, highly recommend!

I have lived here since the building opened in 2019 and love every day. The staff is outstanding, maintenance responds quickly to requests, and the upkeep is on point. It is an all around pleasant place to live. Highly recommend.

Just moved here, and i have had a great experience so far! Everyone is so nice and the building is beautiful. The apartment itself is more spacious than it looked online and I love the warm & modern finishes. And of course rooftop is obviously a huge plus!

Just moved in a few months ago and cannot say enough good things about the staff and building. Any issues I've had, have been responded to and resolved immediately. Definitely recommend.

It has been a pleasure staying here! They are always super helpful whenever you have a specific living situation that you need help with! The real highlight here are the wonderful folks that work here. Amelia, Devonte, and the rest of the crew are just awesome!

Just moved in and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I know I made the right choice after my first initial tour with Khamirya. She made sure I had all the info needed and helped me lock down my new home. Alana and Alex were a great help as well while Khamirya was off. So excited to call Chloe home and look forward to not moving anytime soon.

Still at the phase of looking for apartments. But just want to mention the Leasing Consultant Khamiyra is really nice and helpful. She prepared well beforehead and gave me a all-around and thoughtful tour. This review is just for appreciating her.

My move-in day finally arrived 1 week ago today!! After 7 days, I'm such a happy guy. Before I get into the amenities of this place, I need to state this first: Jennifer - you are AH-MAZE-ING. You made the leasing process so much fun. I wish I had the energy you do every day! Thanks for answering every question I had, and even replying to my emails on your days off. Alanna and Nathalia - thanks so much for making my move-in day smooth as pudding! :-) It's great to know i'm in good hands. Now to the building - during my tour of the place, I fell in love. Like seriously (just ask Jennifer...LOL). The finishes, the unique layouts (I chose the open 1-bedroom stack) - DID I MENTION AIR CONDITIONING?? The gym, the resident lounge, the technology (yes, I'm a tech nerd so this counts too!!) The conference room. YES, a conference room for those work from home days is gorgeous! And the rooftop. What do you want to stare at? Mount Rainier? The unobstructed downtown Seattle skyline? This place has it all.

I just moved here recently and it has been such a great experience so far. The leasing staff are amazing and the community is well maintained and secure. The amenities are nice and they have fun resident events like wine tasting, etc.

I had my eye out for an apartment at the new building on Madison since June of this year. Since then the staff has been so attentive, patient, and communicative with me. It was a long process but the staff were open and honest with the entire process. The staff is really out help you find the perfect place. Alanna and Nathalia are still checking in with my move in process. If you’re thinking about moving to capital hill this place is a dream with the best staff!!

Best place in capital hill! The staff and management team are very attentive and are sure the move in process was quick and efficient! This has been another great experience with Equity Property and I've worked with Alex who has made this move the best I could have asked for! She has been extraordinarily professional and made me feel so welcome to a new community and I want to let everyone know whata great community and staff Chloe on Madison has!

I've had a fantastic experience with my apartment complex so far, and a big part of that is thanks to the amazing leasing team—especially Dustin and Corey. From the very beginning of the rental process, they’ve both been incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. They made everything feel easy and stress-free, always quick to answer questions and happy to assist with anything I needed. Communication with them has been seamless, and it’s clear they genuinely care about residents having a positive experience. It’s rare to come across front desk correspondents who are as approachable and reliable as Dustin and Corey. As for the apartment itself—I absolutely love it. The space feels like home, and the amenities are the cherry on top. It’s a beautiful building with a great atmosphere, and I’m so glad I chose to live here.

Corey and Dustin are simply amazing! Corey is extremely patient and answered all our questions and emails in a very timely fashion leading up the move in. Dustin is also fantastic. Both are super easy to talk to, super down to earth, and great to deal with. So far, we are very happy with our decision to make Chloe on Madison our home, and would totally recommend anyone considering a home in Capitol Hill to consider Chloe on Madison - you won’t be disappointed.

I am so happy to call Chloe on Madison my new home. I’m in love with the rooftop views, location, 24hr gym, my apartment, and all the cute dogs I get to see everyday! Another thing that makes it so special is the people. Dustin and Corey are wonderful, in fact, they are part of what sold me on this apartment! They are both so helpful and kind, they instantly made me feel at home, and they’ve answered every question and concern I’ve had along the process (this is my first time renting on my own). Move in was easy and the whole process has been organized, easy, and straight forward. I look forward to all of the memories I will create here.

This is my favorite apartment! After 3 years of living here, it just keeps getting better and better. Great location, fantastic leasing agents, incredible amenities, and the best apartment layouts. Huge shout out to Corey & Dustin, the fabulous leasing consultants. They were instrumental in helping resign my lease this past April.

I recently moved into the beautiful Chloe on Madison community, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the moment I stepped foot in the building, I knew I was in good hands. The staff, particularly Corey Lamb, went above and beyond to ensure a seamless move-in process. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made all the difference. One of the things that's really stood out to me since moving in is the sense of security and confidence I feel in my home. Knowing that the staff is always available and willing to help has been a huge weight off my shoulders. As for the amenities, I've been thoroughly enjoying the gym - it's been a game-changer for my fitness routine. The package room is nice too, since it's secured and I don't have to worry as much about being there to pick up my packages. You should tour this place if it looks interesting to you!

I moved into Chloe on Madison a month ago and the process was extremely efficient compared to previous apartment buildings I’ve lived at. I came from out of state and the leasing team was flexible when I had to change my move-in date last minute. Overall the staff is really nice and the building feels clean and welcoming!

I’ve had an outstanding experience working with my leasing agent, Dustin. From the very beginning, he has been incredibly helpful and responsive in answering all of my move-in questions, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Dustin also went above and beyond to ensure my maintenance requests were submitted and taken care of quickly. His professionalism and exceptional customer service truly stood out — he’s always friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to helping residents feel comfortable and supported.

I did a self-guided tour on Saturday and Corey was extremely helpful and accommodating. I didn't realize the leasing office closed at 5pm, and my tour was at 4pm, and I ended up going a few minutes past closing time, and Corey stayed and ensured I still got to see all of the units that would be viable for me. So far, my experience with the office team has been exceptional and I'm really excited at the prospect of living at Chloe on Madison!

We’ve had such a great experience living at Chloe on Madison. Devonte and Amelia have made this community so welcoming and personable. Any issues or questions we have are addressed efficiently and they’ve always followed up both in person and over email. We’ve lived here 2.5 years and love being close to downtown, grocery stores, and so much good food!

I’ve lived at the Chloe for a little over 2 years now and I love it! It is a high quality building with a very responsive front desk (Amelia and Devonte are great!). They are always so friendly and helpful! I love my apartment and the location (construction right now is a little annoying in the area but that’s temporary). Overall would highly recommend this building!

The Chloe is a great community. It’s centrally located to everything that you’d need - groceries, fitness centers, restaurants, and night life. It is in a VERY walkable community and has access to public transportation. It also has modern amenities. The building is automated, making it easy to get around with just your phone. It’s secure, has a gym for any quick workouts (it has a stairmaster, which I don’t often see in apartment gyms), conference room, and rooftop. The staff are amazing. They’re very friendly and have been pretty attentive with any issues or questions I may have. Overall, it’s a great place to live!

I have had the pleasure of interacting with Amelia from the building staff on multiple occasions, and each time has been nothing short of exceptional. Her friendly demeanor and helpful attitude truly make a positive impact on the building's atmosphere. Whether it's assisting me with interacting with the resident portal, answering questions, or simply greeting residents with a warm smile, Amelia goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcomed and supported. Her dedication to her role is evident, and I'm grateful to have such a valuable member on the building staff. Keep up the fantastic work, Amelia!

I have been a resident at Chloe for about a year and a half, and I am so happy to call this place home! Devonte, Keta, and Amelia have been so lovely. Whether they are just saying hello when I come home from the day or helping me with issues in my apartment- they have been nothing but kind and helpful. The apartments here are GORGEOUS, and the amenities are well kept. The view from the rooftop is simply unmatched! I can’t recommend Chloe enough!!!

I’ve lived at the Chloe on Madison for just about two years now, and really love it! The location is really great - easy access to the nightlife on the Hill while being just far enough away from the hustle and bustle. While the building itself falls into some of the trappings of a lot of the newer-built apartments in Seattle, the real reason to live here are the people. Not only are my neighbors always lovely and respectful (and there are some very cute dogs) but the staff in the leasing office are consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive to any issues one might have. Amelia and Devonte in particular were both indispensable in helping me navigate the MFTE program, as well as helping me relocate within the building with plenty of flexibility.

I’ve had the pleasure of living at Chloe on Madison for over 4 years now and have had the most wonderful experience. Love the location, top notch amenities, and most of all the friendliest management and staff! Shout out to Amelia, Cory, Devonte, and the rest of the team for being so attentive and always handling my requests in a timely and professional manner. Appreciate y’all so much!

We just moved here in December and could not be more happy so far. Amelia and the team are so friendly and quick to respond regarding any issues. Maintenance is fast and on top of requests. Rooftop has a great view of Mt. Ranier and the treats at the front desk are my pup's favorite.

Overall nicest apartment I’ve lived in (9 months now) in Seattle. Solid location, amenities are real nice, and the staff is really great. Devonte and Amelia keep the placing running smooth. Gym and common areas are nice, especially rooftop but rooftop doesn’t have covered areas for when the weather is bad so can’t give it a ton of use. Common areas have speaker systems that you can connect to with Bluetooth. Super useful when having guests over. Noise isolation in the unit is solid too. Facing chop suey isn’t too annoying on weekend nights. It’s cap hill after all. Also AC in every unit is very nice. Couple of incidents with package room theft, hopefully we can get Amazon lockers or something.

Great place to live in Cap Hill. Clean, modern and spacious. Corey who works in the leasing office has been a great asset. Very Kind, welcoming and helpful. Amelia as well. They are both very accommodating.

We moved to Chloe on Madison in December 2019 when they were offering a free month of rent for an 18 month lease term, but lived at an Equity property prior (Equity is the holding company). We live in their "Open one bedroom" floor plan, with a city view on the 5th floor. Pros: - Brand new complex and apartments (built in 2019), nice hardwood flooring throughout and "modern" appliances and bathroom - Great rooftop with fire pits, tables, lounge chairs, and gas grills and amazing views of cap hill, Mount Rainer, and the city - Air conditioning!!! This has been great since we work from home and it DOES get hot in Seattle. AC is a must for me which was a big reason we chose Madison. - Paying rent is easy with their website and mobile app -Great location, within blocks of coffee shops, world-class restaurants, and the best bars/nightlife in town. However, the light rail is a 15 min walk. Cons: -At least one of the two elevators is always broken/needs maintenance. This should not be a reoccurring problem for a luxury apartment -Utility costs are extremely expensive and this is at nearly 95% capacity (so empty rooms can't be an excuse). Much more costly than less efficient buildings I have been in, so this is a surprise. We pay ~$150 a month on average. Overall, we have enjoyed our time living here, but the complex is slightly overpriced for an "above average" apartment. However, the location is great if you're in your 20s/early 30s and like to go out.

J
Jezabelle smith

This building is okay at best. For the cost, you'd expect the floors to be sound proof, the internet to work, and the elevator to function. This building was clearly rushed and not well thought out. I can hear my upstairs neighbors every single day. Particularly the just walking around their apartment. You would think any new apartment complex would be built to avoid this. Thousands of older buildings don't even have this problem. Second, the amenities are okay at best. Free wifi--not really. The high rent clearly covers this but the internet isn't reliable--slow speeds, and offline most of the time. The rooftop would be great if it could be used 80% of the year. Ever think about creating a little covered area on the deck so it can be used when its raining here? You know, since it rains all the time. The elevators are terrible. sometimes it takes them five+ minutes to show up and today one wasn't working. Not really sure why. You'd have better luck using the stairs. My thoughts: the location is nice but I'd keep looking. Your money might go further elsewhere. Definitely not worth two grand a month. The leasing agent, Jessica, who we worked with was great but she has moved on to greener pastures in California.

V
Viviane Giurgiuman (Viviane)

Pros: Lived here for three years now. building location is ideal, and the rooftop+gym are why I’ve stayed. Staff is nice. Cons: big increases in rent, something is always broken and takes a lot of nudges and weeks to be fixed (elevators and lights have been down for weeks), floors and walls are really thin so noise travels, building metered utilities are super high, requested common area maintenance requests are ignored (gym cleaning, window washing), constant construction outside, and not entirely secure due to location which is concerning at times.

I have edited my review of Chloe, after living there for 2 years, I dont think I can recommend this place at the current price range. I had spent nearly 6 months with a hole/leak in my ceiling, 3 months with a cracked window from construction across the street, and property management stringing us along, and at times gas lighting us about whether or not they entered the apartment. The only good thing was the leasing team.

C
Christine

I lived at Chloe for 1 year. While the management here was very kind and the staff was friendly, I was disappointed by the way certain things were handled, like there being a problem with theft in the package room. We had multiple cases of theft that were reported to management, but all they did was lock every resident out of the package room after 9 PM. This just made it extremely inconvenient to pick up packages and the theft problem was not resolved at all. Residents requested lockers or security camera, but all requests were ignored. I also submitted several requests to install blinds in the gym as on multiple occasions I was harassed by strangers on the street through the wide windows, especially during wintertime when it gets dark at 5 PM. All requests went completely ignored. In addition, the Butterfly box was frequently broken (would break once every month, at least) causing me to be locked out at 3 AM one day. The internet in the common spaces did not work, rendering the "office" space downstairs useless. The elevators and hallways also frequently smelled bad, and there was a period of 2-3 months where I think the cleaning crew just took a leave and everything smelled foul. All these were things I would expect to be handled better by a "luxury" apartment. However, my individual interactions with team members were always great - such as when I needed documents printed or when I needed to adjust my moveout date. I also loved my apartment and amenities such as the gym, in addition to quick response to any maintenance requests. Overall, I would say living here was a good experience, though I expected a bit more for the price.

I recently moved into Chloe in March and all I can say is Amelia and Devonte are the dream team. My friend and I toured 5 other apartments and most were awkward experiences (at one place the leasing specialist even gave us the wrong room and we walked in on someone)! I wasn’t sure about moving into Chloe as the show room was smaller and I was about to walk away… however Amelia mentioned that the unit that was becoming available was freshly moved out and Devonte gave access if we didn’t mind it was dirty. In my apartment search, Amelia was the only one who went with me to check out the room and was able to answer all our questions live. Self guided tours are okay, but having someone there is amazing and adds a personal touch. During my move in, I asked around 100 questions. Devonte and Amelia are patient, kind, and funny. They’re also extremely patient. It’s nice walking into an apartment and seeing someone there to greet you. I’ve moved every year since 2016, and this is the only apartment that I’ve had someone on site almost every day. In my short months of being here, thing have gone swimmingly. We’re in Cap Hill, so you’re definitely gunna hear some crazy things, but it’s so lively and that’s what I’ve been looking for. The rooftops are beautiful and the amenities downstairs are kept clean and pristine (thank you cleaning crew). I’ve rated Chloe on Madison a 4, (I wish I could do 4.5) because during my move in I tried to call and got a call center. That kind of diminished that personal relationship I had with the actual community as I wish they had a direct line. The gym is also a spotlight at night, with the windows having no blinds/tints to the sidewalk. I know that the staff are what’s making Chloe so unique to me, which might cause my to renew my lease for the first time in 8 years! I plan on writing another review at my one year so I’m not in the honeymoon phase. Keep up the amazing work! UPDATE 2 Years Later: I was in the honeymoon phase for sure! I ended up renewing my lease, but they completely jacked the price (+9%) and it was a complete disaster with them almost giving away my apartment to another person. Over two years they have proposed a total 14% increase. EVERY staff member who was here originally is now gone (leasing agents and PM) and equipment like carts are nowhere to be found to make living here easier. There's a door handle in one of the hallways that has been broken/hanging forever. I've been trying to understand the price hike but they only want to talk on the phone and not email which is making the process seem suspicious. Almost every email sent out is using ChatGPT which is fine but fix the formatting - we can see the highlighted text. It feels like no one cares for this building which is a shame because it is a nice place to live! I'll more than likely move because they want me to pay $2033 for a studio. At this point I should go live at Kiara Apartments - At least they engage with their residents.

J
Jason Hyatt

This place is nice but has a serious theft problem. We have had our bike stolen from a secure bike room, our mail stolen from a secure mail room, and also our storage unit broken into all in the last 4 months. Management's responses to the situations has been below our expectations.

J
Jessica Bly

I'm revising my review after giving it more thought and spending additional time living in this building. After the departure of Corey and Dustin as leasing agents, the building lost the personal, customer-focused service that once made it feel like a community. They were the faces you saw when you walked in, always willing to help, and they genuinely knew residents by name. Since they left, the experience has felt increasingly impersonable, and customer service is minimal at best. I've lived in this building for 4 years, and every lease renewal has come with a rent increase. At this point, the cost is no longer justified for the square footage or the level of service being provided. This year will be my last here, as I can't justify continuing to pay more for less. Parking is another major downside. Resident parking is $265 per month which already feels excessive, and guest parking is an additional $15 dollars per night. Given how much residents already pay just to live here, charging extra for parking-especially for guests-feels unreasonable and nickel-and-dimey. Additionally, throughout my entire time living here, there has been near-constant construction. It began with the Madison Street project, and while it was a relief when that finally ended, construction on a new apartment building next door started shortly after. The ongoing noise and disruption have become exhausting and make the living experience far less enjoyable.

M
Max Kepler

I’ve rented in Seattle for over 12 years. Living at Chloe on Madison has been one of the most frustrating experiences in all of my tenancy here while also being, by far, the most expensive unit I’ve ever rented (almost double what I was previously paying for a studio two blocks away). I was taken in my the shiny newness and should have known better. This building was thrown up quickly and cheaply and has had many problems as a result. Yes, the finishes look nice on camera but nothing about the interior of my apartment works as it should. I would have moved out sooner if I had not been locked into a lease with hefty penalties for early termination. Prospective renters: Beware. Initial impressions and appearances can be deceiving.
