El pasado lunes tuvimos la ocasión de compartir un almuerzo para cuatro comensales en este emblemático restaurante del casco antiguo de Sevilla. Una carta muy bien acompasada, respaldada por una variada bodega para diferentes gustos. Todos los platos elegidos nos parecieron excelentes, tanto en la calidad de ingredientes, como en su elaboración. Destacaríamos el magnífico arroz caldoso y la milhojas de la casa. El servicio de sala se percibe impecable en cada detalle y, en nuestro caso, fuimos atendidos por Ramón, que nos deparó una comida servida con absoluta profesionalidad, pero con la cercanía y el saber estar necesario para disfrutar de una alegre velada en familia. Enhorabuena.

Comimos en una mesa alta dentro, la verdad que la atención fue una maravilla de la mano de RAMÓN, que nos atendió como esos camareros de siempre, cosa que ahora ya es dificilísimo de encontrar, comimos ensaladilla de gambas un clásico, alistaos espectaculares , boquerones abiertos fritos, y salmonetes deliciosos y terminamos con presa ibérica, todo regado con manzanilla. Mi restaurante de cabecera sin duda. LA ISLA ES SEVILLANÍA PURA.

Un restaurante espectacular en todos los sentidos. En plena vorágine turística, uno encuentra aquí un espacio tranquilo en el el que disfrutar de una amplia oferta gastronómica de calidad. Que decir de la carta de vinos, con amplia oferta por copas, lo que pude apreciar porque era mi caso. Nosotros buscábamos un buen arroz y lo encontramos, pero volveremos a buscar el resto de la oferta en la siguiente ocasión que volvamos a Sevilla. El precio adecuado para la oferta. Uno no puede esperar duros a cuatro pesetas.

De los mejores sitios en Sevilla para disfrutar de la gastronomía local. Atención exquisita, calidad insuperable en un entorno inigualable. Probamos unas gambas blancas y unos langostinos de la zona, de categoría . Acompañamos con unas croquetas de carabinero, tartar de atún y tortillita . Todo maridado con un excelente caldo de bodegas Emilio Moro . Precio acorde a la calidad. Repetiremos como siempre que podemos.

Excellent meal in Sevilla! We went with a large group. Very accommodating for kids. Fish was delicious and fresh. Paella was scrumptious. Steak and patatas bravas were perfectly cooked. Must try the desserts - specifically the cheesecake!

An excellent high quality seafood restaurant. The staff was so professional and pleasant and the food was great. We enjoyed a tomato salad, delicious Clams with garlic, fried sardines and perfectly grilled Sea Bass. Top quality wine list as well. A small negative is that the decor was limited and the lighting not the best but the food and service didn’t disappoint.

We walked past La Isle in the early afternoon. We walked in to check the restaurant out. Met Paula. It was her warmth and hospitality that motivated us to make a reservation for that evening. When we arrived, Paula greeted us again with a real genuine smile. Our seats were ready outside just as Paula promised. Really great food and flavor. Really well prepared. Really great service by two waiters who served us as if we were the only ones there and the place was crowded. It was Paul though who made us feel at home. It was Paula who created a marvelous dinning experience. Go here if you can. When you do, ask for Paula. You’ll see why once you do. Thanks to all the staff and especially to Paula, you are wonderful.

Cristian, Manuel and Antonio took very good care of us at the bar and made recommendations that made this place a great experience, everything was very fresh and perfectly prepared, book in advance if you wanna have any chance at a table as the place is very popular even amongst locals.

Omar was amazing and welcoming since we approached the restaurant. The restaurant was not yet open and he invited us in for Tapas and drinks while the kitchen opened. He was knowledgeable and told us about the fresh fish on offer. Food was really nice, fresh and freshly made. Will definitely return on our next visit to Seville. We had Paella, tapas, squid and drinks. All was nice and also rest of staff were really nice and professional.

An incredible experience at this restaurant recommended by foodie seafood friend from Andorra. Make sure you have reservations. It’s busy most of the time. Service was impeccable and on point with the best recommendations for wine and food. I definitely recommend this place and surely will be back next summer 2025. Bellota jam was hard and very thickly cut it which was a surprise. Cigalas tasted so sweet and felt so fresh from the ocean to our plate. You won’t regret this choice when in Sevilla.

Muy buen rollo de local, me gusto el concepto de tomarme algo en la barra e ir pidiendo según vas teniendo hambre. La calidad del producto es excepcional, jamón, pescados, carnes … El camarero que nos atendió .. fiel imagen al sevillano majo y enrollado. Por cierto, el sitio donde mejor me supo la caña en toda Sevilla.

Este restaurante nunca decepciona. He venido varias veces, la calidad de todo lo que pedimos estaba extraordinaria. El servicio fue impecable, el Sr Ramon, camarero que nos atendio, estuvo siempre pendiente para asegurarse de que tuviéramos una experiencia maravillosa. !!! Muy recomendable.!!!

We visited La Isla after it was recommended as a fine dining spot in Sevilla. The food was superb, though arriving later in the evening meant some dishes were no longer available. The service was excellent overall, except for a slightly inattentive host when we were trying to get a table. Fortunately, our charming and charismatic waiter, Pepe, more than made up for it—keeping us entertained throughout our meal. The food was also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Walking into this beautiful restaurant our expectations were high of a wonderful night away from the cheaper street side bars and cafes of Seville. We had visited earlier in the day to book our table and seen a stunning display of fresh seafood on ice in the window. We arrived at 9pm, our booking time, and after a brief review of the menu asked the waiter for some assistance to be told that almost all of the seafood was already gone! We were left with only two options, groper and sole. Whilst he explained this proved the freshness of the food, I suggest this also proves a disappointing lack of planning for a seafood restaurant. Whilst the service was attentive, it took us to ask for olive oil with our bread and lemon with our sole, which could have been offered, and the head waiter generally was curt and appeared hurried. Our starter was a share plate of prawns on Russian salad, which was very large and more stodgy than what we have had elsewhere, and the prawns were tiny and disappointing. We were unable to finish the dish, but noone asked us if we enjoyed it. Our main was 'traditional' sole, the presentation did not appeal, with a bed of mushrooms being the hero of the dish, and the sole rolls on each side. It was tasty, but had not been explained when ordering. The highlight of our meal was the creme brulee, a delicious finish. Overall, I would not return, after an evening that promised so much but did not deliver.

Vinimos para una cena el sabado del puente de la concepcion, Sevilla llena de gente, mesa a las 21h y nos dicen que 10 platos/vinos de la carta no estan disponibles. Fallo garrafal en un restaurante que vende imagen y comida de alto nivel. Hicimos entrantes i algun plato principal de pescado correcto (muy buen tartar de atun rojo) Pero al llegar a las carnes nos dicen que solo queda 1 xuleton a 95€/kg pero con muy poco sabor i hecho con poco cariño. En los postres traen una “Creme Brulee” cortada que no se podia comer y como cortesia nos ofrecen unos xupitos de limoncello pero al ponerlos nos dicen que no tienen para todos. Ellos mismos se disparan en el pie. En definitiva muy alta expectativa, precio alto, resultado pesimo. No volveremos.

Expensive for nothing. Prawn mayonnaise was not good. We had to ask for bread to eat with the starter, which came after 10mns. No salt and black pepper on the table. The waiter was always busy doing things and serving other customers. The paella (60 euros for 2) was not good at all: too salty, a lot of rice and 2 prawns each, X2 mussels each and X2 tiny portions of fish each. Really disappointed. Went there after a staff from my hotel recommended this place. Left my plate more than half full. Sorry but I won't go there anymore and can't recommend this restaurant
