I had just moved here and came across this gem. The hamburgers ,french fries and stuffed peppers are amazing. The food is flavorful and takes me back when I was a kid.Fast and friendly service . There are options for ordering in person or online and have it delivered with door dash Look forward to the next visit.😁

I went with my wife, recently after we found out the store had reopened. I tried a cheeseburger and fries because I was unsure if it was going to be “good”. Let me tell you! I have now had taco salads , burgers, enchiladas it has all been good. Last but not least service start to finish very friendly and thoughtful.

its a hole in the wall that isnt much to look at, but the owners are extremely nice, the service is both speedy and grateful for your patronage, the cost of the food is about as low as you can get these days, and everything on the menu tastes very good. you will leave satisfied that you got what you paid for! Highly recommend the jalopeno poppers... so good.

If I could give more than 5 stars i definitely would!! Since they reopened I've had many hamburgers and they are just like the old owners fixed them. The menu now has a very good variety of different foods, especially mexican foods. On Wednesday my sister took me out for my birthday and I suggested this place. They have different plate specials Monday through Friday and we both got the Enchitaco plate for 6.50. Your choice of beef, chicken or cheese enchilada. I ordered beef. Out came a very large beef enchilada, rice, beans, taco and homemade salsa. It was the best authentic food I've had around Sherman, and I've tried every mexican food restaurant here. For 6.50 a plate I wasn't expecting so much food. My sister couldn't eat all of hers and I could barely eat all of mine and the flavor of all of it was out of this world!! The staff was extremely friendly and professional and the place was spotless! I will definitely be going back and would encourage anyone else to try this place, you will not be disappointed!

A co-worker what he thought was the best place to eat in the Sherman area? He told me go to the"Lit'l Store" in Sherman and order a burger and tater tots or onion rings. He said it's a bodega but they have some of the best food and they cook it right in front of you and it's cheap. I've been meaning to give them a review on Google. Sorry it took so long to give you the notoriety you deserve. I will be in soon for more of it!

Under new ownership. They've expanded their menu and woo wee it is good. The burgers are just as good if not better than before. Now also offering a variety of Tex-Mex foods.

I just found this hidden gem exploring Sherman, and this is the best burger I have had in years! Everything was hot, fresh, and not dripping with grease. Burger was not to thick and not to thin, bun wasn’t soggy or “too much bread”.. so excited to have discovered! Fries were delicious and cooked perfectly!

Has a gas station vibe but the breakfast burritos were delicious and the staff was very nice.

This place has Pretty good food. Wish that the burgers where a bit more fresh, sadly could taste the freezer taste to them. Would love to see them make the taco salads with shredded lettuce, instead of chucks of iceberg. Besides that, great customer service, kind atmosphere. Glad to see Amazing people take over this historic location. Can't wait to see the growth in the future.

The food here has always been my favorite! I give the burgers a 5 star. But the lady behind the counter is rude and not only that, they have the hours posted on both sides of the restaurant in big writing but they are wrong! They have a tiny piece of paper on the door with the accurate hours.

OK, I found a hair in my hamburger before, but I tried again and I ordered this taco salad and it’s like somebody poured something slimy In the saladand actually the chicken fingers were over cooked. I gave it another try, but I don’t think I’ll do that again

I've waited a while before eating here. I know Buddy and Delene had this forever and they perfected their own way. So I wanted to let the new owners have time to get settled in and work out all the kinks. I got the chicken burrito plate. I had some really high hopes for this, but sadly it was not what I expected. The chicken to me tasted like the pre seasoned meat you can get at the grocery store. I don't care for it but I'm guessing someone does otherwise it wouldn't be sold. The queso dip should have been good, but was so watered down that it had practically no taste. Same for the chili being watered down, although it still had a little chili flavor. The rice was overcooked and had no consistency to it. I'm not sure if anything is made authentic here. Maybe the chips are made in house, I may try this place one more time, because everyone has a off day. I will not be getting Mexican food though. Maybe a hamburger and fries? I don't like giving bad reviews but I feel I was mislead with the 5star reviews on here. When I see good reviews and bad food I think sometimes they have family and friends boosting their reviews. I do not see how it could be such high reviews and the food tastes ugh, whatever... My advice, add less water to your cheese sauce, and chili. Get some old El Paso, or McCormick seasoning for your meat, because even it would taste better. I know you have to cut corners on your cheese, chili, because I used to work in the food service, so I find nothing wrong with doing it. Just cut down some.

Worst Mexican food I've ever eaten! I ordered the flauta plate and I'll never get it again. Everything was bland, including the queso! I know everyone has their own taste when it comes to food, but this was completely tasteless! I took one bite of the entire plate and then threw the rest away, except the flautas. I tried to give it to the dog to eat and even he didn't want to eat it! He sniffed it and then walked away. Now that's bad when the dog doesn't want to eat it! That's how bad this food tasted! I went here because Lupes was closed, otherwise I'd of went there! I just wasn't expecting the food to taste so bad! I do not and will not recommend this place and will not be going again unless I want something bland and tasteless!
