Hands down the best coffee I’ve tried around here so far. Staff is so friendly and service is fast. Quality of the coffee is like no other! Would recommend highly to anyone.

Not much seating but you can't beat these drinks. I got a creme brulee latte with oat milk and it was so good!!!! Wish I lived here so I could try more flavors and drink choices. The croissant was good too!!!

I grew up in Long island but have lived in NYC for the past 6 years. Even with access to hundreds of coffee shops across the five burroughs, nothing comes close to Tend coffee. I drive an hour and a half every couple weeks to stock up on the finest beans I have ever come across (and grab a perfectly crafted latte while I'm at it). From the great service, friendly faces, and consistently top notch handcrafted caffeinated beverages, Tend is truly one of my favorite local haunts to visit on long island.

This is my favorite coffee shop out east. Always has new and exciting seasonal drinks. The current pistachio truffle mocha is amazing- iced and hot! Staff are wonderful and friendly.

Tend roasts the best coffee ever. I never dont like the bag of coffee I bring home. Their seasonal drinks are always amazing and they have a different drinks all the time. They also have a great selection of delicious pastries that go perfect with their coffee. I always love stopping in at Tend.

My girlfriend and I went for a date at Tend, and it was a positively lovely little coffee shop. There's just something so poetically quaint about sitting beside the window as the rain falls outside, enjoying a sophisticated drink paired with a cute cruffin. (I know that restaurants don't control the weather, but their ambiance there was perfect for it!) Most of all though, I'm writing this review because I feel the need to commend the staff and service. I'm far from a coffee aficionado--I VERY rarely indulge in the beverage. I mentioned this to the three gentlemen who were working there, and they were happy to offer me suggestions. They were all knowledgeable about the drinks and flavors, and could describe them to me to give me an idea of what I might like to order. (I think that describing tastes in words can be a challenge, but they were impressively talented at it.) When I did place my order and it wasn't exactly to my tastes, I asked if there was a way they could modify it for me, and they very kindly obliged and made some alterations to improve it for me. I was especially pleasantly surprised when later on, one employee--James--visited our table to provide us with a drink on the house, called a Mayflower. The drink has a Japanese matcha green tea base, along with milk, and strawberry and almond syrups. It was positively delightful, and a nice smooth creamy palette cleanser to drink down after the coffee. James even went so far as to write down some recommendations for me for the future, of some orders he thought I might enjoy based on our conversations. Tl;dr: I would like to recommend Tend. The service that my girlfriend and I received was polite, friendly, and generous. The next time we want to enjoy a nice cuppa, we know exactly where we'll go. ☕

I ordered the “Winter Harvest” blend... My order was confirmed instantly and I received it within 2 days. Taste: DELICIOUS. I grinded the beans and used them in both a Mr. Coffee Drip machine (for a quick travel mug fill before work in the morning) and in a Pour Over system (for enjoyment at home). While the Pour Over was certainly tastier, which is to be expected with any coffee, both methods yielded fresh-tasting, flavorful coffee. Excellent coffee provided by an excellent company.

I'm here at least 3 days a week, the owner is a lovely woman who is here often and a local so I run into her all over town it seems. Some of the staff is very young so when the owner isn't around they can be a little sloppy with their service but generally the drinks are worth it and everyone needs to gain experience somehow. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for, it's comparable to Starbucks pricing but the drinks are significantly better quality. I work in a coffee shop and still always stop here sometimes on my way to work.

This local gem gets it right every time. I take whomever I'm with here & they are never disappointed. From the exceptional coffee to the top notch friendly staff & pastries. They also have a delightful chocolate assortment all handmade. My absolute favorite that all the batista's know me by is the four leaf latte!

The staff are very polite and friendly, and the coffee is exceptionally good. The owner Sue is an absolute sweet heart and loves to chat for a while with her costumers. Beats a Starbucks hands down ! Stop in and try a cup of their coffee and you'll be hooked!

Delicious coffee. Friendly staff. Best coffee in a 20 mile radius. Worth driving a little further for. They roast their beans in house. Home made pastries! Plus they donate all unsold pastries. Their rewards program works off your credit card automatically!!

Cannot reccomend this spot enough. 10/10!! My bf and I recently began choosing to come here for our caffeine fix and are so happy we did. We live maybe 10 minutes away but we choose to come here (when there is a Handy Pantry 1 minute from us) because not only are the beverages delicious, but the staff is wonderful and the shop shop is adorable. I enjoy coming in and getting a hand crafted beverage from here rather than going elsewhere, especially a big chain like Dunkin or Starbucks. So far I've had a few different drinks and my bf sticks with the Americano. We are always happy with our order and our service. Looking forward to our next visit!!

I came across Tend at a local farmers market and bought a couple of bags of their organic coffee. Freshly roasted, super rich and delicious! I have been a customer ever since, purchasing their coffee online. I moved out of town and still get my coffee solely from Tend. Highly recommended.

What an awesome treat after my hike today on new year's day! I got an iced salted caramel mocha latte (perfect milk to espresso ratio) and a piece of german butter cake - everything was delicious.

Stop in yesterday for the first time and ordered a chai tea. Best chai tea I've ever had. Service was fast, place was very clean, neat and classy. All the employees were super professional and fast to process your order.

Listen, the coconut banana latte will change your life… any latte from this outstanding one of a kind cawfee shop will ignite your world. Iced or hot stop what you’re doing & hit the road. People complaining about seating, you’ll drink your latte so fast you won’t have time to sit down cause you’ll be back in line getting another. I don’t even like stuff in my cawfee then my fiancé brought me here, it’s not overpowering like most flavored drinks, the true power & strong taste of the heavenly roasted beans pulls through with just the perfect amount of added flavor from the dozens of flavors you can choose from, I am officially Tend for life.

I was at an event where the folks from Tend coffee were selling bags of their coffee, and I purchased a bag. I overheard a few people saying how amazing it was, and I was definitely skeptical. Coffee is coffee right - some better than others - but all coffee. Well I was wrong. This coffee is next level. So smooth and easy to drink. You can actually taste the subtle flavors that you can't in most coffees. Buy a bag and bring it home. You'll start your day right.

Organic coffees that are hand selected and roasted along with hand selected teas, gluten-free pastries and friendly staff make this a great, unique spot. I stopped in at 6PM on a Sunday from out of town and found their Weekender Roast a perfectly balanced cup. It was not acidic nor metallic or sour but with a soft roast on the front end that tapered off gently. In short, a perfect, all-purpose cup! The owner and a barrista were there and both were friendly, efficient and happy to share about the business. ...& hours later, with the coffee cooled off, it's flavor is still even and smooth - the hallmark of a good brew!

Love this little coffee shop. Great coffee and selection. Many different coffees from around the world. Very casual laidback atmosphere. To me, this is what Starbucks used to be. I’ll take Tend coffee over Starbucks any day of the week. There “regular” coffee is strong but smooth, not like the colon cleanser at Starbucks. Wish they’d open one in Center Moriches. Best coffee spot around! Really good pastries too! Not a huge selection of pastries but they are good!

Wow! We’re pretty picky with coffee and were surprised by how good the cappuccino and iced latte were. We tried two pastries as well that were fresh out of the oven and great.

Tend makes a great roast cup of ☕️ coffee. I like the caramel macchiato myself and oatmeal raisin cookie. The Rhino Chaser is my take home blend.

Tea people, the London Fog (earl grey milk and honey) is amazing, very flavorful, not too sweet. Their chocolate hazelnut croissant and lemon Danish are the best I’ve ever had in the US. Very fluffy and airy texture and tasty paste.

We've been going to tend for years! Absolutely love there selection of coffee and other drinks! They also have a great selection of pastries and other snacks. The staff is always super friendly and very knowledgeable! I have a friend that lives out of the State, I have to send her Tend Coffee beans once a month!

Not only do I love their coffee, but the service is great on top of it. I went in the other morning to get coffee before dropping my kids off to go to work, and while getting into the car my toddler knocked my coffee out of my hands. I went inside to buy another and they looked at me crazy and made me one free of charge! As a mom trying to get through the stress of early mornings it truly set the tone for my day in such a positive way ♡

Just stopped by for my first time, the coffee shop was cute but very small, I think there were maybe 2 tables in there to sit, so it’s definitely a to-go style shop. Stopped in with my pal for a cup of Drip coffee. Delicious! And the staff was good and friendly. I love supporting the small business effort in my area. My only critique (and it's probably a post-covid adjustment) is that there are only a few seats and it's not very inviting to sit. It's a 'coffee to go' kind of place but it looks like a 'coffee and stay a bit' from the outside. The only critique. Delicious stuff and I will be back.

I love Tend! Thankfully I live nearby so I can come often enough. The coffee here is great as are the baristas working behind the counter. They are always talkative and make the coffee exactly how you want it. Not only this, but the flavors and speciality drinks they make are A1. The pastries are really good as well. This is a great spot if you need a quick pick me up before work or a day of running errands and I’m glad that they are in the town.

Absolutely love Tends Coffee!!! Hometown coffee shop with the most delicious coffee and pastries. However they do need to pay more attention to phone orders. This is the 4th time I have pre ordered and have arrived there and either my coffee was not ready (with the excuse they had push mine aside for a larger order and didnt make it ) or it was made I paid and I waited 15 mins for my coffee to find out it was made on the shelf but the cashier never gave it to me. Besides the 4 episodes on the service when preordering, tends coffee is awesome!!! 💜

Really excellent coffee and espresso. Friendly staff and carefully handcrafted espresso drinks. Although the selection of food is very limited the quality of the two we sampled was very good. We're visiting from out of town and will buy a bag of their coffee to take home!

Great coffee, fantastic staff. One of the better chai teas I had. The place is very cute. The layout is a bit confusing. There menu is not inherently obvious, also not everything is listed in the main menu. The space is a bit small. Difficult to get a coffee and work on something, although I do not feel like that should be expected. Overall a very positive experience.

Cute spot, very quaint. The staff was friendly, the food was pretty good (I got a cheddar chive scone thing and a pastry w/ cheese and spinach). Coffee wasn’t anything to write home about, but still enjoyed it (got an iced coffee - black). All in all, a nice pit stop on my way to the tip of Long Island to see Laufey sing!

I can't really say anything bad about this place. Coffee was okay. Nothing Ultra fantastic. I wish they had more of a sampling without having to ask if you can sample something this way you have an idea of how things taste. The staff behind the counter was just typical they didn't seem to be overly concerned about making sure you tried different coffees or you are very pleased. I was there twice. I would recommend this place even though I've said what I've said. There is room for improvement here

I moved to Shirley about a year ago and I was looking for a cool cafe to check out and this was highly rated . I went to try it and the coffee was spectacular. My wife and I loved the coffee Frappes. Since that time it’s been on and off . There’s days where the coffee is incredible and there’s days where it taste just like any other regular Dunkin’ Donuts frappe. Not sure if it’s different processes for different baristas but there’s days where whoever makes our drinks makes them increíble . Better than Starbucks. And there’s days where the barista makes the frappes with minimal effort and they are just disappointing to say the least . 3/5

It a small little coffee house that is nice and clean with courteous staff. However, their coffee was not my thing I find that like Starbucks and almost every other high end coffee place they pump syrup flavoring into their coffee to give it that extra punch rather then just using the infused flavor coffee beans. Hazelnut, French vanilla, etc.. coffee has a shot of it's corosponding syrup. Their prices very decent and their fresh made and baked pastries are very good and I would recommend them. All in all not a bad experience. I love that this place is a option to Starbucks the more competition the better for the customer.

Americano was completely flavorless. Double shot of espresso was bitter. Overhyped for being an independent roaster, put more effort in selecting and curating your beans. Though, Caramel macchiato was very good… mostly milk… can’t seem to make good coffee.

The stupidest coffee shop I ever seen in my life. They never make the same coffee ever every day is different. I asked them for macchiato. They gave me like American coffee. Ask them for espresso they give me cappuccino.

Really tried to give this place a shot, because there’s nothing else really around the area for a coffee shop setting. Coffee is always bitter/no flavor. And if you’re a coffee shop, you really should provide customers with WiFi. The fact that this isn’t available to paying customers is pretty crazy.

I got my drink and it wasn’t all the way full. The image is after I took one sip. I basically paid a lot of money for Ice. Today I celebrated 3 years with my girlfriend. Tend is where we had our first date. I was disappointed with my trip today, especially since this place is so important to us. 😔 So rather than reach out and try to make it right, they took the image and posted it on social media. This company shows its true colors. Any time I’ve come here, I’ve always been kind, curious and tip my barista. This is flat out insulting. They refused to delete my image, which is my intellectual property. Then, deleted my comment. Petty
