We’ve all been there.. it’s 1 o’clock in the morning we just got home. Maybe we were out for the night working, partying whatever … and we got a craving… boom! Taco Bell. OK I fully admit that sometimes the delivery fees through Uber eats and DoorDash can be extremely expensive, but is that really Taco Bell’s fault? Maybe they could call up the companies and say stop charging so much because people will not order as much… but the food is always great. I never have any problems and I highly recommend them.

Always busy! I usually just grab empty shells and make my taco meat at home. The wait for a full order is always longer then 10mins. But it's Taco Bell and who can complain! The staff is always friendly and accommodating!

This taco bell is by far the best one around. The staff is so nice and I haven't gotten an order incorrect yet. Trying to get i to the parking lot is a massive pain in the chops, but honestly, it's worth it to know that you are getting the correct food and pleasant staff. ♥️

Nice staff, Tony was great. He was in great spirits and was doing a great job even if he was working at 1230am. He got my order right even when I mispronounced an item that i was ordering for my friend. Can't wait to go back.

At the time of this post(3/1) the staff is the best its been in a while. They got a complicated order correct on the first try. And on another visit where I made a mistake they remade my order for me. How good fast food places are is always a result of the people working there. And right now, tacobell has good people

I love taco bell so much! The one near my house constantly messed up our orders. Not only that but their quality is so lackluster. But this taco bell. Is AMAZING. The lettuce is SO fresh, everything was made correctly, the staff was nice and the food came out quick! Not only that but everything was SPICK AND SPAN! If you're in the area and hungry, come here!!

I’ve been eating at this Taco Bell for years, first when I used to visit my boyfriend on the weekends, and now that I live here! They definitely needed improvement years ago and they have certainly applied it! Almost every time I go I am greeted by a very friendly employee at the window, they rarely get our orders wrong anymore, and the food is actually a normal portion. Some Taco Bells will stuff the tacos with less meat and more toppings if they’re running low but this location doesn’t! They are very very very good here! And honestly you can’t beat that cravings box deal, get one item for $6 or three items and a drink for $6, it’s a no-brainer!

Great service an uber eats order was missing items and uber eats was somewhat helpful only issuing a partial refund however I was able to reorder the item and management was able to ensure the other incorrect items were fixed/sent. 10/10 accountability and service

The Window dude saved this review I’m not even gonna lie. The fact that Taco Bell is trying to utilize Ai to take orders is ridiculous and insane. And then for someone to come on the speaker to RUDELY say “it’s an Ai” did not make it any better The person that came on the speaker barely listened and then when they got frustrated because WE were frustrated they switched it to someone else and that person ultimately still messed up the order. Aggravated and unimpressed

They messed up my order. Of course, I didn't realize until I got home but the thing that bothered me most is I got my food and replied I just need my drinks. Another girl came to the window and said I didn't give you a medium and large drink? No, no you didn't and it felt like I was being accused of lying. Other than that... it was taco bell. It is what it is for fast food.

Its taco bell, you can't go wrong. Traffic in and out is a bit tricky but worth the wait. I door kiosks make ordering easier and the drive thru puts you right back out on William Floyd.

This is one of the busiest Taco bells during the busier times. The line is very often out into the street main road which is also an access road to cut across William Floyd boulevard. I usually only go here when it isn't busy. Other than the traffic and the terrible location, it's a decent Taco Bell.

It's a taco bell what more can be said. Jokes aside, this location is nothing special in comparison to others. The food is on par as normal, but the service is severely slow. Perhaps everyone just loves getting tacos on Sundays or something, as the line piles as far as I can see. The employees are chill and friendly. If you plan on eating here, plan ahead...order ahead and do everything ahead unless you want to ponder and wonder on line waiting for your food to come in 30+~ mins. Like other reviews mentioned, there's nothing wrong with this taco bell, but my only main complaint is the god damn service! 🫠

Not the taco bell I grew up with. The tacos are skimpy. Mexican pizza, looks like it was just thrown together. The place was no the cleanest. Garbage on floors. Garbage pails full with Garbage. The touch screen idea is horrible. The screen is touched every minute. Germs, more germs. The sauce packages were sticky. Maybe it was just a bad day. What advantages are the kisok for us .

Our food was just thrown together and that was one of my problems, stuff was falling out of the wrappers. I don't go there that often, as we don't eat fast food that much, but when we do I love to go there. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I have been there I have not been pleased with the food.

I feel bad about knocking this Taco Bell because the manager is a really nice woman and is really trying. But waiting 40 minutes for 2 chicken quesadillas is ridiculous. Probably not the managers fault if 4 employees didn't show up and hiring is difficult, but maybe fire those 4 anyway for banging out on the same day. Sounds like a sick out, to me. The thing is, the drive-through was getting served their food while at least 7 seperate guests were waiting for theirs in the dining room. And some hadn't even had their orders taken, yet. And then they stop taking walk in orders altogether.

This place is always busy but lately the service is horrible. The AI that takes your order rarely gets my order correct. When you ask for help, you're rushed to get your order completed. When you get to the window, you have to double check that you are getting the correct order and not missing anything. It's a chaotic environment, I know the food is inexpensive but it's not worth the hassle.

Everybody loves Taco Bell! But why do most Taco Bells have bathrooms next to entrance and every time you open the front entry a strong whiff of urine hits your face. And maybe do better job cleaning the restrooms.

Well it’s the best tasting Taco Bell for sure, but expect to wait up to 30 minutes for an online order or if ordering in person. Forget about the drive through - you can get a quicker and better meal at nearly any other restaurant for the time it regularly takes to get an order here.

This used to be the best Taco bell on LI. Not anymore. I have never seen such slow service on such a busy night. There was ONE person expediting and the rest of the staff was just wandering around. Took almost 30 minutes to get an order for 3 people. And it was wrong.

At the drive thru they keep you waiting at the menu where you place your order until they tell you to pull up. They do this cause there is a timer once you pull up that shows how long customers wait for their food. By keeping you back it looks like on paper that they are moving customers fast in the drive thru when in fact they are causing long lines that block traffic and cause arguments in line. Cause other customers think someone is taking a long time to place an order. This has to STOP!!

Waiting 2 hours at Taco Bell for a simple lunch wasn't exactly how I planned my day. Food was cold, no sour cream and when I got my food the bottom of my taco was falling apart. Reminded service repeatedly about the whereabouts of my order to get multiple excuses.

Slow service...one young male taking care of delivery and making food and he was outstanding... Manager stood around and watched me wait. Food was cold because ths whole order was made before they realized there were no fries made...Chili Cheese burrito small again.

The service is awful. I had to wait nearly forty five minutes to receive my order after I placed inside the restaurant at there touch screen. The staff is friendly enough but they don't have enough people on and they seem to be focused on the drive thru orders because don't have enough for both the in store orders and drive thru. Not to mention the customers who place there orders online never seem to have there orders ready when they come to pick them up. Also, I barely got anything inside of the two veggie burritos I ordered off their value menu. No matter what time I go it's always very lengthy wait. This Taco Bell restaurant is located in Shirley, NY on William Floyd pkwy. I don't know the exact address but it's next door to a Wendy's. If I were you, I would not go to this and find another one to go to. Which is what I'm thinking of doing. Because, there was one staff member that acted like he would rather be somewhere else and he definitely was taking his time.

9:45 PM On Sunday & The dining area is closed due to “inconvenience”. The line is down the block, around the corner, and they just say oh you have to go through the drive thru. Very inconvenient. And doesn’t make sense. Every time I come here my food is cold. And they forget napkins. They forget sauce. It’s just very tacky. And the tacos aren’t up to par.

Where to start... The food is usually good but that's if the staff ever bother to get your order right such as simple instructions to leave a certain item off the food but I guess nobody can be bothered. Manager at driver thru on 3/8. Gave me a very unpleasant attitude. When she saw me at the drivethru window. I had explained to her i had placed an online order. She told me i to wait for the two cars behind me. I waited came back to the window and still was suprised on how i was treated. They proceeded to make me wait 20 mins on foot in drive thru after telling me to pull forward. Not a safe place to stand. Especially at night.

Been waiting for my online order for over 20 minutes**EDIT MY ORDER TOOK A TOTAL OF 42 MINUTES** I only ordered two items. The employees are rude and act like I’m bothering them. They are beyond slow, food is super sloppy, employees rude. When I inquired about my food and said I had been waiting for over 35 min the young employee said we have a lot of orders do you want a refund and I said no I just want my food. After the 40 minute mark I asked a manager and the young employee at the counter had the audacity to call me “M’am” and say that they had a lot of DoorDash orders to which I replied waiting over 40 minutes for two items is unacceptable. Overall bad experience everytime I’m here 😩 wish I didn’t love Taco Bell so much or I’d never return. They definitely prioritize drive through, if you’re a walk in or mobile order you can forget it. Next time I’ll be sure to order AT LEAST 30 min in advance. Very annoyed 😑

Sad to say their quality has gone down and their prices have gone up. It’s no longer a place for low and mid income families to have an enjoyable snack or meal at a reasonable price. I guess we are paying for their new automated ordering which only works some of the time by the way.

This review should really be ZERO stars. One of the worst fast food experiences I’ve ever had. I was here around 8 pm ET on the evening of 10/28/23. The drive through was backed up into the street and there were more than a dozen patrons waiting inside for food they had ordered via the mobile app. There was no one working at the counter! Food was being made by the kitchen and placed on to the mobile pickup kiosk but no one was there to distribute it to customers. At least two staff members walked by the crowd of people waiting for their food, inquiries were made and in both instances these staff members threw up their hands and said either “my shift is ending” or “I can’t help you.” Finally, after some screaming in the kitchen someone came out and started handing out the orders from the mobile pickup kiosk. I waited over thirty minutes to collect 10 items of food; after I finally received the order, and arrived home, two of the items I ordered were missing entirely. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised given how poorly the business is run. Avoid this location, it’s absolute chaos and very clear that staff members don’t care about customers. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING.

I was here about six (6) months ago. Tonight, I used the drive-thru and got cold, garbage food at the Shirley location. And, they leave the phone off the hook because they must get too many complaints. The A.I. they're using is useless since it doesn't understand specifics, i.e., "No cheese." Maybe they will close and something decent (Not another fast-food place) will take its place.

First of all, some men stole my food and then we had to wait there for like an hour and then my child had to take chips out of the bag because he was so hungry and none of the bathrooms would open after he was pressing the button to get in and then some men drop their food inside. The store they got the food wrong after the other guy stole it. There was people who had to wait for three hours and there were these three annoying kids, screaming and yelling inside of the store, they need to fix this now The food was very good though

Noielle took our drive thru order and was extremely rude!!! Then was laughing at us at the window. Very very disrespectful. She needs more training from her “patents” as well as Taco Bell!!! I will go out of my way to go to any other taco bell. Shirley totally sucks because of that rude individual. And i wasted my time writing this review.

I buy here and also pick up for Doordash and the waitime is ridiculous. They always run behind. I have waited 45 minutes for an order and they don't care. I see other places such as Wendy's, Burger King and McDonald's much more well managed. I think the people working there don't take the job seriously and that's why their service sucks.

Couldn't rate food because 45 minutes later, after ordering from the kiosk, I still haven't received my order. How does this occur? Many people come to order FAST food, and there is nothing fast at all about this experience. Online orders and pick up are also taking longer than anticipated.

I've been to this Taco Bell three times. The first time took so long in the drive through so the second time a went inside to order because I thought it would be faster. I was forced to use the self serve computer to order even though there were employees available to operate a register. Then the computer ended up not working and they took my order manually anyway. Needless to say, I should have just done the drive through. The third time I came here I used the drive through and it took 25 minutes to get through. They handed me the wrong food at first so I handed it back and it took another 5 minutes to get the correct order. When I got home I realized they had given me the wrong sauce. I would rather drive to the neighboring city than going to this location again.

the worst taco bell on long island. they have "free delivery" which is not through door dash or uber eats the food not only came an hour late and was cold because the delivery person was most likely picking up 6 orders to make money, the order was wrong and my gordita that was taped in my box to signify thats its '"ready" was litterally the inside of a shell broken missing pieces barely anything in it. which when you spend 30$ at taco bell is un-acceptable. if your in the area dont go here, go to medford, patchogue anywhere else.

I'm not sure how fast food could take so long. Never go in the store it will take 30+ min. to get your order. When you use the drive-thru they always manage to mess up the order somehow every single time. Im pretty sure it's because they know they have no other Taco Bell's nearby. If you check the order in the drive-thru they stare at you with a dirty look and one employee told me "it's fine, you need to leave, we have a line". (You always have line) Guess what... they messed up that order too.

I almost never leave bad reviews, it takes a lot to actually upset me. This time, I waited 30 minutes on the drive thru line and not a single car moved with no customers waiting for their order at the pickup window. What are the employees doing inside if they aren’t taking or making orders for 30 straight minutes? I cancelled my mobile order and left when the two cars behind me also got tired of waiting. Do better.

It’s been great the other times I’ve ordered but today they had a group of us in the front vestibule like a herd of cattle waiting for our food. There was no communication of what was going on with why we weren’t allowed inside other than a building permit lasted on the door. No one would look up to any of us as if they were embarrassed to help us. Food and drinks were sitting on the tables so close to us with no one helping us. Honestly, I’d rather go to the Wendy’s next door at this point. Working in the food service for so long, someone should’ve at least told us what the hell was going on

This is the worst Taco Bell, with the most bitter, rude, ungrateful, and unpleasant staff in all of New York. There was a wait that was just unbelievable. I have never seen such a wait, especially when it’s completely empty inside. They make you wait for a very, very, very long time without giving you any answer. And their opening hours… it says they’re open from 6 a.m., you arrive at 6:40, and they tell you it’s closed. It’s really a disaster.

Take soooo long you will wait and they still don’t get you’re order correct then get annoyed when you ask FOR WHAT YOU PAYED FOR. They have you wait at the speaker so their times don’t go up when you’re at the window I’ve worked at fast food and a good management wouldn’t let that happen.

Consistently the slowest fast food place in town. Drive thru or going inside makes no difference. Expect to spend about 20-30min waiting for your food. Even if you order through the app it takes long.

Night shift is rude and nasty, they don’t work, and when people get mad after waiting 60+ minutes of watching them sit back and not care, they kicked us out when we got mad. I had uber eats customers cancel on me because of their incompetency.

This is literally the worst taco bell. Service is incredibly slow, nobody there to take your order you must order on the screen and God forbid you don't have 30 min to wait for your food. I don't know what has happened to this place but it's like the staff are in slow motion and just don't give a darn. Always messy. Parking is crazy. Drive thru takes forever. Hard to get out due to traffic. Just an overall terrible experience. Even when they actually get your order correct.

One of the worst experiences ever in a restaurant for me i order online for pick up and I waited 45+ minutes to get my order the staff was super Rude. The staff including the manager were playing around smiling and laughing while the costumer are waiting. I will never ever again visit a taco bell and I will for sure tell my family not to go there. This is not right.

Everytime i go this location wish nothing but a better experience to checkmate myself into thinking it was just not the day for them. Expect i get nothing but the worst experience each and everytime i decide to try and prove myself wrong. Lets start with the delay, most of the time i get it, it gets busy, understood. But at times theres no line but always the same or worst no matter the traffic. I try to get different things to see if maybe it gets better but it only gets worst, no matter what i order or whose there. I get cold food, half ass portioned, or if not dont get some items. Even half cooked, theres points i have to reheat it in my own house as i try avoid to cook if im going there OBVIOUSLY. How can this get better? because if i could give -5 stars i WOULD!

I ordered their new Chulapa and the Confetti drink. I vomited all.up and lost and hour of pay and asked to reimbursed for the food and my loss of pay. They refuse to do both

If you're picking up a mobile or delivery order be prepared to wait 10 minutes minimum as staff walk past and around you and refuse to grab your order 2 feet away, but since it's behind the counter you can't get it yourself.

Very very horrible place to go to. I went to both. The drive thru and walked in person. Both where horrible experience. The staff wouldn't even help you to look up your order. I believe they don't have a manager or a supervisor that's on site. The employees look like they are under the influence. It's the most unprofessional place to go to. If you want to wait one hour for your food, this is the place

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! We ordered food through the app at 8:15, at 10:15 we went there because it said the order was pending pick up and it would not let us cancel it. My husband met our Door Dash Driver who had been waiting there for an hour!!! The workers said they were making the order, then they said they didn’t have anything on their screen, then they said it was picked up which obviously is not true. When both my husband and the Door Dash Driver asked to speak with the manager they were ignored. Do not waste your time or money at this place. Don’t order the food through the app for this location, you’ll never get it. The only thing you’ll receive is the cold shoulder from staff and “management.”

We ordered ahead on the mobile app for pick up through the drive through. After waiting 15 minutes at the window for our food, all of it was stale- down to the nacho cheese and the soda. Soda was out of syrup so it tasted like seltzer, the potatoes in the fiesta potatoes were hard, even the shell inside of the cheesy Gordita crunch & Crunchwrap supreme was stale, there was truly not one item that wasn’t stale or subpar in some way. My cinnamon twists came with literally ZERO cinnamon sugar on them and we could tell they didn’t read the instructions because an item we specified no lettuce on had bits of lettuce in it like they started to make it with lettuce and then realized after the fact it was not supposed to have any and they picked it off. Super disappointed and won’t be back to this location any time soon.

Got there at 3:20 on a Saturday night October 12... The dude said we are closed. Meanwhile Google states open 24 hours. Either he didn't want to do his job or they haven't updated Google maps. Not uncommon

Slow and Messy. Waited about 20 minutes for a single quesadilla inside, okay whatever maybe they are busy, I open it up and it’s barely even put together. Falling apart with nothing even left in it but the cheese. Felt like half my meal ended up on a napkin. Good reminder as to why I rarely stop here.

This Taco Bell is by far the worst fast food place I have ever been to. If you're ordering from any time 5pm or onwards, be prepared to wait over an hour for your food. It doesn't matter how many other cars are there, they just have the most abysmal slow service on the planet. Cars in the drive thru get wrapped around the building because it takes the entire crew 1 hour to work on a single order. You can't even go inside to wait for the food either because it takes an hour in there as well. I have no idea why people keep going back there.

The drive through was closed so we walked in to order and literally no one even looked at us. We stood there for 10 minutes and not one person asked to help us,??? The person behind the counter was sitting on his phone ignoring us. Ridiculous.

Drive through now takes more than twice as long because of the new AI order taking bot. There was a line of cars wrapped around the block, a bunch inside trying to order, and by the time I got to the window, they forgot the sauce I had to pay extra for. People don’t understand these systems and the bot doesn’t understand nuance.

BEWARE!!! This store should be shut down immediately! After placing a mobile order an hour ahead of time, just to wait another hour inside for a small order alongside multiple other people. The drive through was priority as cars were flying past the window while everyone waited inside for over an hour. After trying to go through the drive through to get the attention of any drama gossiping employee, they told me they wouldn’t serve me and to come inside. So I go back inside to wait some more! I waited there out of principle to talk to the manager at the end and I got a sorry you waited so long. I will never come back and do not recommend anyone come here! Not worth the wait and quality of food has gotten horrendous! And at the end of the day, they mess my order up, probably on purpose. I felt severely sick after too so am concerned they are messing with peoples food too! BEWARE

Do not, do not, do noooot order through a food delivery service. Made the mistake more than once, it could take literal HOURS. Inside of the store you will see a rotating door of delivery drivers checking orders, being told it will take an hour for taco bell to complete the order and walking out. I guess the place is understaffed and they can't deal with delivery+ drive thru?

This is without the worst taco bell i have ever been to. I wasted an hour waiting for my food only to find out my order was never processed to begin with. They literally took the fast out of fast food. Having left disgusted I drove around the corner to Burger King where my order was taken, paid for, and perfectly received in 3 minutes.

Spent $44 at Taco Bell on dinner for my family. Once I got home and saw the food I was really upset. There was no long line, only one car ahead of me so it’s not like they needed to be rushing. Our quesadillas were dry and cut ridiculously. Our tacos were slapped together. I didn’t want to drive back out but our entire order was unappealing and disappointing.
