I’m giving this 3 stars because the older lady at the counter doesn’t know how to work the app. She forced me to scan the gift card one for receiving stars and I explicitly told her that was incorrect it was the scan only one. Anyhoo I didn’t get my freaking stars and it was triple star day and I got 2 drinks. Really frustrating.

Although I have patronized the Safeway Starbucks for 14 years, I am very close to moving my patronage elsewhere. Over the years, I’ve observed “very bad” to “barely satisfactory” management and only one or two very fine mangers. Sadly, “poor management” is again in evidence and is the impetus for my review. This week, on two occasions, ONLY ONE barista was behind the counter, forced to work both cash register and drink machines (health standards violation?). I left without placing my order because the wait time and line stretched long. I was joined by 3 other customers. Money lost, Starbucks! I do not fault the barista; he/she was doing the best possible under the terrible circumstances. Now, where is management? Outside smoking? On the register chatting up one customer while a dozen people are waiting to place their orders? Where are back-up baristas? Why is the food shelf nearly empty of products? Why have to apologize with “Sorry. We’re out of that flavor.”? Why is there such a massive personnel turnover? On-the-job training is NOT acceptable during rush hours!!! My observation: At a busy morning rush, with two people working, the line numbered 10 -12 people. To my horror, the manager, one of the two people working, indicated that it was her break time and left for a smoke break leaving, again, only one barista to handle all of the customers. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE. An in-depth, unannounced inspection/investigation of current management practices must be conducted. (And formal management training should become a part of the Starbucks hiring process.) Kudos to Phil, Monica, and Lucy. They are the reason for my 3-Star rating. They are the only ones who have an admirable work ethic and demonstrate concern for the smooth running of the establishment. They are the only reason I keep returning…so far. Starbucks, pay attention to your business (not politics)!

Functional. Safeway Starbucks without a dining area. Coffee was good and pumpkin bread was reasonably fresh. There are no stand-alone Starbucks coffee shops in Sierra vista

This is not a traditional Starbucks store, in that it is basically just a large stand in the Safeway store. I believe there are a couple of small tables one may sit at, but I would not recommend this for a place to go and read and have a leisurely coffee. Good place to get a coffee to enjoy while doing your grocery shopping, or for your drive home. Lines are typically short --3-4 people -- but with two employees working at a time, it isn't exactly a quick stop.

Went there with my daughter. The lady was not friendly at all. Specifically asked to redeem my points. Instead my card was charged when she scanned my phone. Giving 2 stars because my daughter liked her strawberry funnel cake frappe without espresso. We all have our bad days but when customers are trying to be nice to you, you should try to do the same. If not, I'm sure there are other people looking for employment who deserve a chance.

Usually one of rhe faster locations in town, but the hours need to be updated. They open at 0600, I tried to go at 0500 and a safeway staff member was pretty irritated about explaining the hours of the store were what mattered.

One of the workers throws muffin and cheese Danish. She needs to work on customer service. It was the gurl with short hair. Plus, they need to learn how to make a frozen mocha

Was going to treat myself to a cold brew $5. So for $5 I would have to take my black coffee home to put creamer in it. I lowered this from a five star to a one star because they said they do not carry French vanilla creamer. So I could pay five bucks for a Starbucks cold brew and I would have to go home to put creamer in it. They said they could put fancy syrups in it fancy this in it I said you don't have french vanilla they said no we don't so because of that I give them one star. Needless to say if I have to fix it at home I might as well just where you can buy 62 Oz bottle of Starbucks cold brew coffee right here in Safeway with some creamer and take it home yourself and you would have six cups of coffee with French vanilla creamer for a total of $5 for 62 oz of cold brew and for a total of $2 for French vanilla creamer instead of one cup of coffee I would have five just wanted a treat here at Safeway can't believe they could not accommodate me with French vanilla creamer outrageous.

There hours are not updated went there on my way to work and it says they open at 5 online and then someone came out and said that they open at 6. He wasn’t really nice about either. If you are going to change your hours make sure that they are updated everywhere.

there's a sweet old man that is an amazing drink maker I can't remember his name but there's an older lady with glasses and she was the rudest person me and my friend ever met she asked for a venti and when she said venti she cut my friend off and said and I quote I'm not kidding "you don't look like you need anymore venties". I was freaking mad my friend has weight problems because of her depression and she stress eats she is working on her health but she was just ordering a tea unless u want to get body shamed don't go to this Starbucks for to targets!!!!

I came in at 8:20 something. I know it was cutting it close to 8:30, but a lady was in front of me and they took her order. So i figured they would be able to take mine. The women kind of took a couple minutes to order, but I didnt think it mattered. Right after she pays, the clerk looked at me and said " we are closed sorry" so i said why did you take her order when its passed 8:30 at this point because she took forever deciding. She looked at me and then proceeded to ignore me. Really upset me! I dont know if im being a crybaby or if that was rude?!
