This is a busy place!! It is also a great place for a wholesome meal with friends. We wanted to introduce our friends to delicious ramen, and we came for dinner. She wasnt sure in the beginning, but was totally into it once she got the taste of the scrumptious ramen and hot soup. Service is A++ and food is superb. I loved the miso veggie ramen. Thank you folks, you do good work 💕
I usually steer clear of Ramen restaurants because they put too many noodles in their bowls, but MoneyKey has a wonderful balance of noodles, broth, protein and flavor. My husband and I both got the same bowl except he got chicken and I got tofu. We were told it was white meat chicken however they were out and gave us dark meat. The waiter was quick to replace the chicken with tofu for my husband. The portions were generous, very flavorful, and the waiters were helpful and attentive. We will definitely be returning to this place and it was perfect for a rainy evening. We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other offerings.
I recently moved from the Pasadena area, which has some really great ramen, so I came here with high expectations. Wow, I did not expect the ramen to be this delicious! I decided to go with the veggie ramen, and it was incredibly creamy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. By the time I finished, I felt like my soul had been healed after a long day’s work. Everything about it was amazing.
Had the vegetable (vegan) ramen. Was great. Noodles were cooked right. Broth was Not over salty and good amount of (not skimpy) on the veggies. The size was decent too - not teeny tiny. Would come back again! Nice Asian music. Clean and friendly staff.
Pure magic in a bowl!! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel like family—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. The energy here is warm and intentional, setting the stage for what’s easily one of the best meals you’ll ever have. Moneykey Ramen is a love affair. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, savor every moment, and come back again and again—not just to eat, but to feel something beautiful. Rich, silky, and soul-soothing. You can tell the food ,the quality in every detail. Nothing is rushed, nothing is out of place. And let’s not forget the team behind the scenes: the chefs, the unsung artists. They’re the reason this place isn’t just “good ramen”—it’s greatness in a bowl. You can taste their precision, their reverence for every ingredient, their 🔥. This isn’t just a great ramen spot—it’s a place that feeds your body and stirs something in your spirit. An unforgettable, mouthwatering experience from start to finish.
One of the best places to eat in Simi Valley is a great spot for Ramen, offering a pleasant ambiance and affordable prices in today’s economy. My wife always enjoys dining here; she loves the Spicy Beef Ramen, while I love the Garlic Truffle Ramen.
Good food, delicious chicken in the ramen. I wish there were more vegetables to balance out the richness of the meat, but still very enjoyable. Big portions, good service, cute and comfortable interior.
Stopped in for lunch last week after our gym friends told us it was open. We tried pork mentaiko ramen, Dan Dan ramen, and pork gyoza. Gyoza were juicy and delicious, crispy on the bottom, chewy on the top. Perfect filling to wrapper ratio and the pork filling was nicely seasoned. We both enjoyed our ramen. 4 big pieces of homemade chashu and the mentaiko added a nice flavor to the tonkotsu. Dan Dan was not very spicy so may have to add in spice to get the kick, but it tasted good. Both portions were perfect, definitely enough noodles. The seating layout is awkward. There are not many tables for 4 inside in the back, 2 tables for 2 and then a line of counter seats facing the wall behind a really large and wide high top table with 6 chairs around it which is right in front of the entry door. It's all close together. The high top table isn't bad but if you sit there with your party, the width separates you from your party across from you. It's a small space so they had to make do and you're really not there to linger, but if you like privacy, the seating layout doesn't foster that. I can't imagine what it must be like when it's crowded. For the food alone, we will be regulars!
Food was amazing! Tried out 3 items on the menu and it was all well made. The interior can sit only so many, so make sure you get there early, especially on a rainy day. The parking is plentiful. You are able to also pay by QR code.
Delicious Ramen and the best customer service. Shot out to Omar.
I’m so exited to have a ramen shop in Simi Valley!! This place is excellent all around. I had the Classic Tonkotsu ramen for lunch and for me everything about it was perfect! The broth was delicious, the pork and egg were amazing, the noodles so fresh and all the toppings were on point! I asked for extra chili paste on the side and it made an excellent addition! Also the environment is so nice and chill, very cozy with lo-fi beats playing in the background. The service was very kind, attentive and asked about my request for a side of chili paste! I’m excited to come back with my husband!

Cute little Ramen place. Food is delicious. Went for lunch during lunch rush to meet a friend and had prompt and attentive service. Let’s keep this place in business Simi! I ordered the Spicy Beef and spicy edamame and they both were delicious. First time here and will return again soon.

The best ramen you can find in Simi Valley! The broth was very flavorful and spicy (you can make it not spicy). The meat was very tender and seasoned very well. The chicken was my personal favorite, but the pork was amazing as well. The veggies are nice and fresh, and the noodles have a nice chew to them. I definitely recommend this place over any place when you are in Simi Valley looking for some nice filling ramen to eat!
First of all, stoked we have a ramen shop in Simi - second of all, I've never been to a soft opening before but if this is how good they are on a limited capacity I can't Wait to see how insanely good the rest of their menu is gonna be. We got the garlic truffle ramen and it didn't stand a chance. The broth was perfect and buttery without being too thick, and the noodles were Delicious and eggy and firm. Topped it off with the Moneykey roll, and their sushi is just as good and fresh as their ramen. 9001/10 please come eat here!!!
The Ramen here is better than many places in LA or The Valley. Excellent, friendly service and reasonable prices. Just a very pleasant experience to come here. 10/10 would recommend.
My husband & I really enjoy coming here when we’re craving a good ramen! My favorite is the chicken wonton ramen and the shrimp tempura roll! It’s DELICIOUS & good generous portions! I strongly recommend coming here, you won’t be disappointed!
This might be the best ramen I have ever had. I have been to numerous ramen places around California and this takes the cake. The choices are abundant, fully customizable, and tastes amazing! By far the best broth I have had! Highly recommend the original tonkutsu My only issue is the prices. It is a little high. If the ramen prices were to be reduced by a $1.50 and the soft drink prices were to be something like $2.75, I would come here very often.

This was our first visit to this establishment, and we are certainly looking forward to returning. The noodles and broth were quite delicious, though a touch salty for our preference. We are unsure if this was an oversight, but we will observe on our next visit. I decided to try something new and ordered the DanDan Ramen. While it was an interesting experience, it wasn't quite to my taste, as I had anticipated a more robust flavor profile. However, I sampled my husband's classic choice and found it to be delightful, so I plan to order the Tonkotsu ramen next time. Additionally, we enjoyed the Pork Gyozas and Salmon Onigiri, both of which met our expectations. If you are contemplating a visit to this place, we highly recommend it; we believe you will find it to be a worthwhile experience.
This place is cool. Maybe too cool for Simi Valley. It's tucked away in a little plaza just far enough away from the Town Center that you might ignore it. But that would be a mistake. The food is good. Quite good, actually. The menu covers the ramen / Japanese staples, but with the addition of some more authentic comfort foods (but less common in the US) like Curry and Gyudon. Everything I've tried is well seasoned, well crafted, and delicious. The chefs clearly have vision and knowledge. Now I must mention that this does not extend to the front of house staff. They're polite and friendly, but clearly do not share the vision of the chefs. We ordered the "Spam Egg Onigiri", as described on the menu. As it arrived, I would describe it as a "Spam Egg Musubi", but that's pedantry. However, our server presented it and said "Here's your Spam Egg... Thingy". Hilarious, but probably not what Moneykey is going for. Also, they only provide cocktail napkins... Come on, this is a ramen shop. Ramen is wet and messy. But still, the food and vision, especially in this location, makes it worth the trip. You will have a delicious meal.
This was our first time in this Ramen place but we dont consider ourselves newbies when it comes to good or bad Ramen. For us we still consider Koppan Ramen as the benchmark when it comes to what a good Ramen place should be. Nikka Ramen in Goleta will come in next as a good place for authentic Ramen. The rest either lacks the kick of a good Ramen or just plain bland. Moneykey Ramen does not have the great taste like Koppan Ramen but is a good Ramen place nonetheless. I had pork Shoyu Ramen and its well-cooked, tasty (not salty) but still tender. The soup isn’t too salty but has that mixed soy sauce and broth flavor in it. The noodles not too hard and not soggy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back. The professional service is an add on and elevates your dining experience.
MoneyKey Ramen is a new ramen venture that opened up in the Simi Town center. Right next to where Musashi used to be. They serve a combination of Japanese dishes, most notably ramen. As well as sushi, edamame, gyoza, and other add-ons. The ramen is rich and flavorful. They carry four varieties of ramen broth. Traditional, spicy miso, garlic truffle, as well as veggie ramen. They all have a nice flavor to them, although the noodles are what one would expect from any other standard ramen spot. Being that it is in Simi Valley, which is sorely lacking in that department, I'll give it a pass. The service was bright and friendly. Although they are still in a soft opening so they do not quite have their liquor license yet. So keep that in mind. A nice place to go to for quick lunch meals or to satisfy your ramen cravings.

The ramen was decent—steamy, umami-packed broth with bouncy noodles that slurp satisfyingly, and tender chashu that melts like butter. But the menu’s a letdown: bland descriptions that barely tease the flavors, zero mouthwatering pics to lure you in, and prices that bite like an overzealous spice kick. Solid spot for a quick crave, but expect to pay premium for the mystery.

Horrible experience at this place. Very disappointed with the service. This is not the first time we visit and for some reason today the server kept giving excuses to where not to sit. The place was not busy and she kept saving tables for just in case a bigger party showed up. Every table we wanted to sit at, we kept getting excuses of why we couldn't sit there. We ended up taking the food to go. The last thing you want to hear is that you can't sit anywhere when you go to a restaurant especially when you see empty spots. This was on a Thursday evening.
