Me and my wife LOVED this restaurant! They have an amazing atmosphere and vibe with really good music playing. The waitress we had was very nice and fast! All the staff was wonderful! The cocktails were some of the best we had on the island! The food was also absolutely delicious! I had the lobster pasta and the portions were perfect! Lots of lobster and the sauce was so good! Even the dessert was very good! Do your self a favor and GO HERE!

First time visiting Palapa and won't be the last. We were greeted by the beautiful hostess, Chris, and we immediately felt right at home. Our server, Jeandralica (also stunning) was exceptional. She made sure our meals were prepared properly and kept the cocktails flowing. The rest of the wait staff did a fantastic job too. Steak was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was delicious. Try the foiegras, it was wonderful. Prices were reasonable for the quality and the atmosphere was beautiful.Can't wait to be back again! Back again and it was even better. We were lucky to see the manager Chris again who is probably one of the best on the island. She's a beautiful person with warm personality. Our server was also incredible and made sure everything was prepared to our satisfaction. We brought some friends this time and they have now placed it on their list of favorites. Thanks for the exceptional meal and the hospitality.

I am so appreciative Palapa was able to arrange a table for us same day. Everything here was very much on point from start to finish from atmosphere, to service, to cocktails, to our progressive meal with wine at dinner. A great variety in choice on the menu I especially was impressed by. Everyone at the table loved their seafood mains and we shared apps and desserts. We look forward to returning. I also recommend Palapa for anyone looking for an elevated dining experience that doesn't feel stuffy - such a great vibe!

Delicious? It wouldn’t be enough to say-it is extremely tasty!! All dishes have great presentation, delicious combination of tastes. Ambience is also very good, comfortable seating and looks good for instagram photos:) Barbara is the owner is the friendliest person that welcomed us at the restaurant!

This restaurant is exceptional, offering amazing food and outstanding service from the host and waiter. The staff creates a perfect atmosphere for dining, which made our last night on the island unforgettable. My family and I celebrated our final evening there, and we're grateful for the experience. We'll definitely come back and highly recommend it.

Impressive! The staffs, the hospitality, the Ambiance and the food! SUPERB! You can ask the restaurant to customize your tables with additional cost of course. We ordered the food beforehand so it was a smooth serving dinner Also requested some type of fish (Subject to Availability) and they managed to cater our needs. High class and top quality at its finest. From the moment you enter and the Hostess greets you it is an exquisite experience. The ambiance is delightful, staff is abundant and never leave a need waiting. The food is absolutely decadent. We both couldn't resist ordering the hanger steak. It was juicy, packed with delicious flavor and melted in your mouth. Everything was cooked to perfection, including the chef's recommended dessert!! Their lounge/bar area was relaxing and entertaining as we enjoyed the bar tender's fancy moves and kicked back on a comfy couch enjoying our cocktail. Highly recommend!!!

Reservations: highly recommended but be aware lounge has limited menu. Choose Garden or Other. Other is the Bedouin tent and is the non smoking section Party of 3 2x adult 1 child Sint Maarten is full of high quality restaurants but this has to be a top pick. The decor is absolutely stunning and this says a lot considering we are in a Caribbean island and it feels like you stepped into an oasis of tropical paradise. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with warmth. Food:5 stars ⭐️ Honestly, I wish I could’ve ordered much more that I did but my stomach could not allow. The food here is served at the proper temperatures to ensure maximum pleasure. Appetizers: sashimi platter and lobster cakes Entrée: The cavalry platter was shared amongst two adults and one child. One rib steak One flank and one tenderloin It comes with two sides, ( we ordered truffled potatoes and fries) vegetables and two sauces. The sauces are so interesting we had to add an extra sauce. 1.peppercorn whiskey 2. Champagne Truffle 3. pomegranate Chimichurri The sides were so delicious and flavoured with grace. Drinks 5 ⭐️-if I could give more stars I would I read reviews that the drinks were fantastic here so perfect for a night out at the lounge area or later at night when this turns into what I call a “mingle of the singles or etc.” atmosphere is super sexy yet classy! My drink “LET me LOVE you” I think that’s what it was called as it was suggested by our servers was exceptionally balanced and my child’s nonalcoholic drink “PINK”was as well. I was so fond of my drink during dinner that for dessert I ordered the trio of alcoholic sips and was IN HEAVEN But was pleasantly surprised when I huge sparkle cake a ride to the table with fire crackers like sparklers. I wish I was able to capture the moment on video but honestly the moment will forever live in my memories. Make sure you leave room for dessert as they are the perfect way to end the meal. You will not regret it! Service 5 ⭐️ This is all around the best! They work like a family and help each other out when needed so you feel valued and never need to look for anything. I watched the kitchen in sync and the servers in harmony with bus staff. Apparently this was their first day without their head chef and (April 1st) and they still were in unison. I am Already dreaming of when I will return. Do not hesitate to make a reservation. Just make sure it’s not lounge so you get the full food menu available!

One word AMAZING! The fact the food matched the esthetic is what makes this alllll the better. This place is NOT just for pics. The food was DELICIOUS. I had the rack of lamb soooo soft. My husband who is a very very picky eater was recommended a steak similar to a skirt I believe. The manger advised my husband who only eats his steak wellllll done to try this steak. She stated the way the chef prepares it even tho it’s NOT too well done he will love it and he did. He cleaned the plate literally lol. The manager was great, the host was great my waitress was great. We had came here for my birthday dinner and I am very happy I chose here. This is our first time here on the island and we were told to go to many places and for some reason this was not mentioned to us. We found this spot on TIK TOK and I am very happy to had stumbled across it. Just be sure to dress the occasion because you will be amazed by the gorgeous decor. We did not have any mixed drinks because we ordered a bottle of champagne but I’m sure the drinks are just as good. And when they brought out the beautiful BEDAZZLED 🤩 esthetic cake to sing happy birthday I felt like a princess and the staff and manager had some vocals too when singing happy birthday lol. DONT THINK ABOUT IT BOOK IT! Reservations are highly recommended and I can see why. It’s also located next to other great bars to go to after for dancing and partying. I am very mad I did not get the manager name but she was a beautiful woman and looked like SADE the singer. Her and the staffs hospitality was everything!!! Made us feel very welcoming and was sooo happy to have us in their beautiful establishment. Thank you sooo much for making my bday dinner so fabulous 🥰

This is probably the best restaurant on the island. I’m honestly surprised I got a photo because 1. I was drunk & 2. I was starving. I believe I finished my dish in under 10 minutes 😂 I got the fish, per usual & it was delicious. Julie, was able to get us a table & she was so so so sweet. Joey Priest also recommend us a few places to go afterwards & his hospitality was amazing. Great food , even better people. Can’t wait to come back!

Have been to the island many times and can't believe we've never eaten here before. Very deceiving from the front of the road I suspect. Everything about this place was exceptional.. From the hostess, to the food, the ambience and especially the overall service. One of our new favourites.

One of my favorite dinners. The steaks were so good. I had the new zealand filet. Amazing drinks. Paradise was my absolute favorite on the island. Great club vibe on weekends. But a little quieter on weeknights.

The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was splendid. They appeared to be short staffed as the service was not on par with the food and ambiance. The service we got was actually charming and attentive, just long lulls of not seeing anyone, empty cocktail glasses, wanting things but no one around to ask, etc. But the food was soooo incredible it was worth the wait.

Amazing food and cocktails! At this beautiful place! The @palapahiddenoasis was just incredible! The Food: RACK OF LAMB: Herb-marinated grilled rack of lamb accompanied by a luxurious truffle mash potato, sauce Bordelaise and served with sautéed seasonal vegetables & TAGLIATELLE DEL MAR: Fresh Tagliatelle pasta topped with half a lobster tail in a creamy sundried tomato butter sauce filled with Shrimp, Squid, Clams, Octopus, Mussels & Scallops. The drink: Their signature cocktail L E T M E L O V E Y O U: Tequila Don Julio Reposado – Peach liquor Sage syrup – Lychee purée – Strawberry Purée - Cherry bitters - Fresh Lime Juice & Egg White We definitely recommend checking this restaurant out when in sxm! Yummm!

Highly recommend!!! Everything we ordered from the appetizer to desert was delicious!!! A few things on the menu were unavailable, but we were told right away so there were no surprises. You can absolutely tell they value quality over quantity. Such a unique place and it’s so beautiful. Staff was so friendly and helpful. This place is a must!!

We went for drinks twice and loved it. Palapa may have the coolest interior of any restaurant I've seen, and I think it was all built by the owners. Sadly we didn't have a chance to eat here, and I'm really sorry we didn't make it to one of the club nights - I bet these are really fun.

This place is a total vibe! For all the selfie and photo one connoisseurs, this is the place to go. Everything, even the food, is photogenic. The food is also good! You will not be disappointed. The service was impeccable.

Every single food item was absolutely delicious. I’m truly impressed with the quality and the explosion of flavours. It’s a definite MUST Desirée, our server was the sweetest. The food came very fast, the cocktails were amazing and the desserts heavenly

Had dinner tonight. Ribeye and seabass. Had the fois gras sushi appetizer. Everything was top notch! Will was awesome, welcoming, and charming. Ingrid was an attentive wonderful server. This was our 4th visit and we will return again and again. Can't say enough about this establishment!

This place is fabulous. The atmosphere is so unique, the drinks are crazy good, and the food was perfectly cooked and served. I was disappointed that the sushi was not on the menu because it was so good last year. I decided to try the New Zealand filet. Holy cow....it was one of the best I've ever had!! This will continue to be one of my favorites on the island. The staff deserves a shout out too! They are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable!!

Palapa was hands down my best dining experience on the island. Our waiter, Lemson, was professional, courteous, and truly made us feel special. We celebrated our anniversary there and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco each, which was such a thoughtful touch. It’s clear the owner runs a tight ship—in the best way. The level of teamwork among the staff was exceptional, unlike anything I’ve seen at a restaurant before. Every staff member we passed greeted us warmly, and everyone was impeccably groomed and professional. The food was outstanding, and the ambiance is a solid 10/10. Palapa will definitely be one of our go-to spots whenever we’re in Saint Martin

We had such a fantastic time dining at Palapa! The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing — the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a great meal. Every dish we had was fresh, flavorful, and presented with such care. You can really taste the quality in every bite! A huge shoutout to our waitress, Valerie, who made the entire experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always one step ahead with anything we needed. Her recommendations were spot on and she made us feel so taken care of the whole night. If you’re looking for delicious food with top-notch service, definitely check out Palapa — and ask for Valerie! We can’t wait to come back!

Other than paying $50 for a bottle of wine that was $14 at the local Maho market, plus being seated alllllll the way in the back (when I made a reservation)—my family and I had a great time. Food and drinks were really good. And our server was a sweetheart. I appreciated the birthday acknowledgement/surprise for my sister too.

We came to celebrate a birthday and had a great time! The food was pretty good overall, but the real standouts were the ceviche and lobster cakes, absolutely delicious. Perfect way to kick off the celebration.

We made reservations in advance for our group of 12, but our flight got delayed. We messaged them on WhatsApp and was able to change the time with no issues. Ambiance- The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! It was very tropical with a nice breeze. Our table was beautifully decorated. Service- The service was pretty good. Our server seemed to have confused herself a few times, but made it seem like it was us. She asked us if we wanted 4 orders of fritters about 5 times. We said yes, but then she brought out 3 and told our table that we told her no to the 4 fritters, which she was wrong about. Food- The food was SO GOOD! I mean, A+. The calamari, the fritters, the pasta....everything was amazing. Because we were celebrating a few of our birthdays, they brought us out some shots with sparklers. The shots were gross, but FREE, so we didn't complain. I definitely recommend!

The experience is awesome because of the ambiance. You step in off of the street and are transported to what seems a far away place. Their roof was destroyed in the last hurricane so they reimagined the space and parts are covered by several large tan tents that give it an oasis in the desert feel. They have decorated the space with very cool and inviting seating nooks around the bar, and the dining tables have interesting floral arrangements. It is very festive, tropical, exotic and romantic. My husband's lobster was overcooked and my fish was as well, but our friends have raved about the food, so maybe we were there on a night with a different head chef. Everything else was wonderful, especially my husband's trio pastry dessert, so heavenly. We will for sure go back, it is such a neat place to be, just makes you happy. There is a dinghy dock nearby at the Palapa Marina, so it was quick and easy for us to get there.

This place was a great find. The food and service were great, once you got in. The welcoming experience was berry confusing. We walked in without a res. We were told they had room for us but we had to sit in one specific section before we could be sat at our table. There was a lot of discussion about what could and could not be eaten in that area and if what we saw in that area was available or not in the main dining room. It was so confusing we almost left. But we found someone to show us the main dining room menu, which looked great, so we decided to stay. We were VERY happy we did. Making the welcome experience better would increase score.

The servers were super accommodating with our request to move to the steakhouse side after we sat down. The vibe and atmosphere was nice. The food was well prepared and you could see the attention to detail. The two things that threw me off was my glass of wine was TOO chilled and the salmon I got was so close to being a great dish, but the flavors didn’t come together in my opinion.

The overall experience just seemed okay. Our server was somewhat attentive but didn’t offer recommendations and didn’t go over the menu. The wait time was also quite long. My party was also seated closer to the entrance and we witnessed many cockroaches coming out of the nearby soil. Not the best when trying to eat. As for the food, it was decent at best. The dishes weren’t too flavorful but they also weren’t bad. We were also celebrating a birthday and waited quite long for the restaurant staff to sing Happy Birthday.

The service here is wonderful ! Our server was very friendly and accomodating, even paired wine with the food, he checked in from time to time and not too intrusive of our dining experience. The atmosphere is incredible and comforting, there is even a bar attached to the restaurant which made the experience even better. The food was ok. Unfortuantely for us, everything lacked flavor; accross all courses, the starches, sides and proteins alike. We didn’t enjoy the meal but the service made the experience better.

We ate here for our 11th wedding anniversary. This is a beautiful restaurant. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted and treated warmly. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is 5 stars. The service is great. From the hostess to the waiters. You are treated well. Now for the food. We were disappointed. The appetizers (brie and sushi) were nice. Hubby had the lobster thermidor with rice, and I had the rib-eye with truffle fries, chimichurri, and veggies. The lobster was not good. There were more tomatoes in it than actual lobster. The chimichurri wasn't smooth or blended well. The rice was hard. The worst part was that the steak was COLD! It turned us off so bad that we didn't even get dessert. I've been wanting to eat here for a while, and I'm so disappointed that this was our experience, especially for the price that we paid.

We came here to celebrate my wife birthday. Atmosphere was great and the food is definitely above average. The only huge negative was our waitress, I wish I had her name but she's a older caucasian slim french lady. I told her it was my wife birthday and she forgot not to mentioned her level of service was below our standards. Her energy ruined the vibe and again forgetting its my wife birthday was really upsetting but I didn't want to make a scene and I wanted to surprise my wife so I didn't bring it up. My wife knew I was upset when we left and I told her but she was ok about it. Then the lady had the audacity to think I short changed her but really I think she thought she derserve more and just wanted me to acknowledge I didn't leave additional tip. I was not going to tip her extra cause there's already a 15% service fee she's lucky I didn't complain to have that remove. I normally tip well and I eat out alot this is the second time in my life I left a 15% tip. I'm very understanding of waiters/waitress I use to be one. I'm still disappointed.

The food is excellent, We had the best steak we've had in a long time. Dessert was less spectacular but good. The staff is friendly but disconnected and a serious let down for our group was the fact that empty plates were being collected while some of us were still not finished. This felt very uncomfortable and as if we were told to get out as fast as possible. The atmosphere was also to loud , the level of the music forced everyone to spread to loud, creating an overall very noisy environment. I am not sure if ee would go back because of that.

Celebrated Havalyn's 21st birthday in St. Marteen so we wanted to try alot of different restaurants. This was a miss for us. The atmosphere was 10/10. Great view, made for picture taking, ambience great for date night or celebrations. Food was not good 2/10! There were plenty of items on menu, just none that appealed to us. We ordered some noodles with chicken and Brussels sprouts and sides that we left on the plate. The texture and seasoning of the items was appealing to my palate. Will not eat here again.

The restaurant had decent food but very poor service. The table we were seated has dirty cups for water. Had a dead fly and lip stick stain. Had it removed only for the server to bring back another dirty cup. Then had the nerve to argue with me about customer service , she stated that there is no customer service in the Caribbean smh.

Palapa Oasis has a really nice atmosphere and a great setting, which was definitely the highlight of the visit. The service was okay nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming and didn’t live up to the ambiance or expectations. Overall, it’s a pleasant place to sit and relax and have a drink, but the food was a letdown.

Went here although they were a bit busy they promised us a table. we waited in waiting area for about 15 mins & host stated we can try other restaurants or we could wait. that kind of threw me off. but then they told us to sit at bar area for a sec they’ll call us. After about 35 more mins we realize no one was coming to get us as promised. We couldn’t even find anyone so that we can pay for the two drinks we ordered. 1/10 DMT RECOMMEND

This place is EXTREMELY overrated! We started out with drinks and ordered an old fashion, smoked. While the presentation was great, the drink was heavily charred… the scent and taste. We advised the waiter David of the mishap and he advised the bartender, Antoine. Antoine was extremely defensive and advised that it was simply a “smoked old fashion”. He proceeded to make a second drink and the flavor and scent remained the same. The char was so apparent that the remnants were on my hand from picking up the glass. We again advised the waiter and Antoine was extremely defensive and stated, “We’ve already made her two, we’re not making another”. Moving on to dinner, we ordered a chicken Cesar salad and steak and lobster. The steak was ordered medium well. The cooked temperature was WELL DONE! The chimichurri lacked flavor and simply tasted like olive oil. The lobster was also OVERCOOKED. The sushi was honestly the best on the menu. Although the food was very MID, the atmosphere was a vibe. David was also very understanding and professional. He worked to get the unsatisfactory items from the check. This place appears to be a tourist destination. If you’re looking for AUTHENTIC Island food, get a recommendation from a local. This also wasn’t a one off night. Apparently the cook is not new and has been employed as of November 2024.

Zero out of ten—one of the most disappointing dining experiences we had in St. Marteen. We arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation and were not seated until 8:20, despite watching a party with an 8:30 reservation get seated before us. When we were finally taken to our table, we were placed all the way in the back in an extremely windy, uncomfortable location, and when we asked to move, we were told it was the only table available. This was our last night on the island and my friend’s 30th birthday, so we were really hoping for a special experience, but it was far from that. We placed our food order immediately (no drinks, just entrées and one appetizer) and then waited over an hour and a half for our food. Every time we asked our waiter for an update, we were brushed off with “the kitchen is backed up.” Eventually the manager came over, said our food was “on the way,” and offered a free round of drinks, which we declined, followed by bread and a salad—yet even after that, it still took another 20 minutes for our food to arrive. By that point, we were irritated, upset, and completely unhappy with the service. To make matters worse, the birthday acknowledgment felt rushed and dismissive, with a tiny, quarter-sized piece of cake. My friend asked for her food to be taken to go when brought to the table the waitress sat it on the ground which we had to tell her was unacceptable. When the bill arrived, we were comped only 10%, which felt insulting given the circumstances. It was impossible not to notice that a nearby table who appeared to know the owner received their food far earlier than we did; when questioned, we were told they had a pre-ordered, curated menu. Overall, we felt disregarded and disrespected from start to finish, and I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.
