I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here since I was in middle school and now bring my toddlers with me to have a great experience as well! Seth and Freddy are like family at this point. They are one of the only bagel places to make me an egg sandwich with bacon to my liking… brittle but not burnt! I grew up in Smithtown and moved near Stony Brook Village. I still make an attempt to stop by here for a delicious egg sandwich or bagel any change that I am in the area! I will also note that they make great pancakes for the kids too! Highly recommend. Very personable, friendly, clean and delicious!

I can’t say enough good things about Smithtown Bagels!! Every visit is a great experience, from the welcoming atmosphere, to the incredibly friendly and efficient staff. You can tell their place takes pride in what they do. The bagels are consistently fresh with the perfect balance of crispy exterior and the chewy, flavorful interior. They also serve delicious breakfast sandwiches, wraps and coffee. If you are anywhere near Smithtown, this place is a must!! Highly recommend!!

I’ve tried bagels all over LI, and this spot blows them all away. The bagels are perfectly chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside, and always fresh out of the oven. The everything bagel with scallion cream cheese is absolutely addictive. Staff is friendly and efficient, even when the line is out the door (which it often is—because it’s that good). The vibe is cozy but energetic, and you can tell it’s a neighborhood favorite. Shout out to Seth!!

This is the best bagel store around! I live in KP and take the 10 minute drive here as the bagels are so good! Always fresh and soft, great choices, yummy egg sandwiches and lunch choices too. Their chicken salad is so good!

I get bagels here almost every Saturday after my daughters’ dance class. They are one of the most consistent bagel places I’ve ever been to - everything is delicious and they’ve never messed up an order, whether I’ve called it in or ordered in person. The staff are always so friendly, helpful, and patient. Smithtown Bagels has been around for 20+ years and are a staple on the heart of Main Street.

Superman Freddie and Superwoman Andrea are both absolutely incredible! They helped us cater an office breakfast in the blink of an eye! And my colleagues RAVED about the food. Well done on every front!

The bagels are always super fresh. The sandwiches are delicious. The people working there are either family, or like family, as they communicate really well, and the whole thing runs like a well-oiled machine. Everyone is friendly, efficient at their jobs, and great to chat with when the line isn't super long. Love this place. And if they ask "salt peppa ketchup", ya gotta try it at least once. Looking forward to going back again soon, this is absolutely the best bagel joint on LI.

Smithtown Bagel is the friendliest bagel store in Smithtown. Their bagels and baked goods are also delicious. On top of that Andrea and all the staff are so incredibly nice. I bring my special needs students here every Friday and they are always greeted with a warm welcome and everyone who works here is always happy to see them. Please check them out

When I sent it back, what I received was a bagel with scrambled egg and no cheese. I understand that mistakes happen but when it does it a second mistake shouldn't follow.

Picture speaks for itself. BURNT BACON… and yet, someone decided it was still a good idea to put it in the sandwich. This will be the first and last time here. There are plenty of other bagel places in the area that actually take pride in what they serve.

We buy some over priced cookies and a dozen bagels for $60. Get home and bagels are stale - some cookies were ok -wound up throwing everything out. I should have asked if they were fresh. Live and learn. Won't be back.
