The environment was very relaxing, came for mom’s birthday lunch. Sidney our waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable of their menu and specials. I would recommend this place highly for a quick bite in a pleasantly clean atmosphere!

I had my 50th Birthday Party here in The Snug , staff, food and service was fantastic! Definitely would recommend to others!

MAVIS in Solon is a fantastic new addition to the local dining! The wait staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that we were well taken care of from the moment we walked in. Service was prompt, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. We're thrilled to have another great restaurant option in Solon and can't wait to come back! The “Twinsburger” is shown in our photo. It was tasty. The salmon burger on a brioche bun was also very good!

We have been having St. Joe’s High School quarterly luncheons for many, many years…more than 80 to date. September was the first time for Mavis Public House. It was, by far, the BEST restaurant we have attended. The accommodations, food and service were Top Notch…from the owner, general manager and server. We are looking forward to the next luncheon in December.

I had an excellent visit. Ed the owner is very nice and sociable. Carmella is an amazing server. All of the staff is very gracious. I had the almond encrusted walleye and it was delicious! I will definitely be back.

Our family loves Mavis, especially that it’s walking distance to Kids Empire. The food is family-friendly and delicious. The servers we’ve had are warm and attentive, but we’d like to give a shout out to Karmella who made an impression on our son! Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area and/or with kids.

Dinner at Mavis Public House, Solon, was a wonderful experience. Friendly, attentive, knowledgable wait staff, excellent food (love their corned beef sandwich and salad (best dressing) and reasonably priced. Looking forward to our next visit.

From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with the most genuine, friendly smile and made us feel instantly welcome. Ann was attentive without being intrusive, checking on us at just the right moments. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations, (the Chicken Paprikash is delicious) and happily answering all of our questions. This level of personalized, caring service is rare and made our meal so much more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere complements the exceptional service, we will definitely be back!

KP was an incredible server! She anticipated our families needs to ensure that our meal would go smoothly. She was really on the ball and one of the best servers that we’ve had in a long time!

Five stars to Mavis Public House for hosting our recent private event - especially on a brutally cold day! The staff didn't miss a thing. From quickly pivoting to a better location at the last minute, to helping us redesign decorations on the fly, they were calm, thoughtful and kind to a few stressed hostesses (thank you!). Everything wently smoothly, our guest had a great time (clueless to the quick change), the food and selections were fantastic, and the best - we got to enjoy the event!

If you’re looking to cure your winter depression on a Saturday, you’ve come to the right place! Mavis Public House has a happy hour EVERYDAY from 3pm-6pm! The barstools were so comfortable I stayed way longer than I anticipated. The bartender, KP, made me to BEST skinny spicy margarita I’ve ever tasted. The entire staff and the owner, Ed, were extremely personable and made my first experience here one to remember! Thank you!!!!🍀

Food was fabulous. Katherine did a great job with recommendations for food. Had chicken Alfredo, chicken paprikash and shepherd pie. All were very good. We will be back. We were at a funeral and googled restaurants and you came up. Win for everyone!

We recently had a large family gathering of 20 in their private room. Upon arriving, our server, Ann ( who we personally requested) greeted us promptly and began taking drink orders. We were very impressed with the quick delivery of drinks and delicious food! Ann did a great job with our large group and making sure we all had what we needed throughout our evening. We really appreciate Ann providing us with an exceptional dining experience!

Had our golfing holiday lunch here and it didn't disappoint. I think I had the cosmic burger (or something like that) and it was very good. Good variety of beers to choose from. Very open layout and was very easy to have conversations. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop again.

I had the Cajun Haddock Tacos with sweet potato fries served with a sweet cinnamon dip that was absolutely amazing! I also ordered a side garden salad with raspberry vinaigrette, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The food was incredible, and the service was just as great. It's definitely a place I’ll be coming back to! 👏🏼

Around 15 of us met after our Sorority meeting. The food was on sale to celebrate their anniversary. So, there was a very nice discount for mostly everything except quesadillas. More than enough food. I ordered the corned beef and onions rings and only ate the onion rings. The waitress was nice and friendly. She took care of the whole group by herself with only assistance with someone bringing out the food. Atmosphere was soft music and football games if interested.

Had a great lunch with Lindsay as our server, bartender. She has an awesome personality and we had so much fun with her we will be back to enjoy the drinks and the food was really good also. Kathy was our waitress and she was very attentive. My husband spilled water and she helped clean up and joked with us about the mess. I love that they have listed the live music they’ve planned all the way into January! Very nice people.

Ann was fabulous!! What a wonderful date night for Jay and I. Somehow, we have not been here until this evening. What a wonderful surprise. Everything was delicious, timely, enjoyable, relaxing, and comforting. The layout is sectioned according to the company your'e with- couples, singles, families, or large groups. Could not have ended the evening in a more relaxing way. ☺️

We had a great dinner in a warm and welcoming environment. Truly, the only thing better than the food was the service — Taylor took great care of us and went above and beyond to make sure our evening was enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved the bartenders and staff. We got to meet the owner and he was awesome as well. Definitely recommend sitting at the bar because of the comfy bar chairs!

We have been a few times, good food similar to their twinsburg location, I like the burgers. I have had the corned beef which is also good. They added a patio for nice weather next to the building that is well shaded

The service was good. Food was average. According to our server the owner refused to put on the LA Dodgers game that we asked to see. Not a good look in my opinion.

Hate to say it but I've had better kinda flavorless , you have to do better for almost $90 ,server was great , and our Guinness was perfect.

Avoid this place We chose this place to watch Game 1 of the world series. I took the time to come to the place the day before to check if they would have the game and the sound from the broadcast on. When I walked up to the bartender and asked she responded “of course” like I was crazy for even asking. Fast forward to tonight, not only did they not have the game on, when we asked, we got an eye roll and they reluctantly, eventually put the game on without the sound. They refused to the game broadcast on stating they only do that for local teams. There was maybe 10-12 people there and no one was watching anything. To make the best of the situation, I put the game on my phone to listen while we watched. They responded by putting the bar music volume up louder. We ordered a drink and got the poutine. Server was not kind and the poutine was not poutine. Reheated, frozen shoestring fries and no cheese curds is not poutine. NOT WORTH $18. Avoid this place. Dishonest, bad service and overpriced bad food. There are so many other places. Do waste your money here.

Order prosecco splits and Guinness. Prosecco splits were not opened at the table, one of them was only half full when it showed up. shady stuff going on adding a picture of the Guinness, an Irish pub should be ashamed of this pour Wings were good. Entreés were overcooked - past was beyond soft, 'rare' tuna stake was cooked all the way through. shut everything down and closed up around us at 8:40...

My husband, son and I decided to come here to eat today. It was 3:30 pm so not a busy time. As we walked in a group of three ladies were leaving. We stood by the ‘please wait to be seated’ sign waiting for someone to come to greet us and seat us. We waited and watched two guys leave so now the restaurant is empty of customers. The bartender was too busy wiping the (customer-less) counter to say anything to us or acknowledge us in any way and no hostess showed up so after waiting almost 5 minutes we left. Doubt if we’ll ever be back.
