We rolled into Posto—the pasta-and-pizza paradise—without a rezzie, and guess what? They seated us like VIPs in seconds. This place is MASSIVE, with tables perfectly spaced and cool little zones that make you feel like you’re dining in different spots all at once. There’s even a swanky private room with glass doors—fancy, huh? Our waiter was on it, and before we could even finish swooning over the menu—BAM!—food arrived in under 10 minutes. Yep, you read that right. Our pasta hit the table before my wife’s sangria—that’s next-level speed. 🏎️ And oh. my. garlic. 🧄 The pasta was perfectly al dente, packed with at least two whole bulbs of garlic (no vampires here, just flavor explosions). The gnocchi? Pillowy clouds of heaven on top of short ribs so tender, they basically melted. 🤤 Portions were huge—leftover dreams are real, people. Oh, and that monster pizza oven? It was churning out pies nonstop, and now we have to come back to test-drive a few. 🍕 Verdict: Posto = speedy, garlicky, glorious**. We’ll be back—with stretchy pants. 👖💥

Everything was amazing!! Took my wife and our niece and nephew out to eat dinner after watching Lilo & Stich at the AMC Cinema, We loved the fast service. The style of seating was very different which makes the restaurant very spacious, Our waitress Luciana was the best. The food was on point and don’t get me started about the drinks !!! Very nice place to come too, Will definitely be coming back !

Absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious—from the appetizers to the entrées. The pizzas were especially legit. Service was top-notch, too. Posto has definitely become my new favorite spot in Assembly Row!

Such a great place ! I absolutely loved this place from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. Every single person who came to our table was amazing, attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring about our experience. One moment that really stood out was when the manager brought our food; she took the time to clear and clean our plates and even offered anything else we might need. The pizzas were incredible, full of flavor and perfectly made, and the cocktails were phenomenal, especially the Poste Italiane, which was outstanding. Overall, the experience was exceptional. This is officially our new favorite spot, and we’ll definitely be back.

Really good pizza! We ordered the peach pizza and the almondine. I highly recommend the almondine pizza.

We split the peach pizza and it was very unique and the flavors of the mozzarella, peach, and prosciutto worked well together. I think it's best to go here for the pizza, as those are their most unique items

A little cold good pizza. Was impressed despite the thin crust that it wasn’t floppy. Maybe couldve been a little crispier? The almond pizza was a good surprise. I dont think ive had pizza like this before. I had fear that it would be too saucy, but there actually wasn’t “cream” but rather a good blend of cheese and the honey.

My review is based on the margarita Pizza! We are north end junkies, who in my opinion have some of the best margarita pizzas. Extremely impressed with this one 10 out of 10.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The staff is so friendly. I had the best experience with Ezekiel (attentive, professional and funny!) and would recommend sitting at the bar if you want to watch a game AND eat very well. I can’t wait their next location!

Im gonna give this spot 5 because i think 4 is a little low for them and there is no in-between. Service was great and the place has a good atmosphere. Bar seems like a nice place to have a drink and its all well lit. We got the pizza, my wife got the chick parm, i got the ribeye. Its prob on me for getting the ribeye at more of a pasta place but it was very mediocre and a pretty thin cut, it was actually cooked seemingly perfect but was somehow chewy still , not the worst I've had but i wouldn't get again, i will say the price was fair for a steak at a restaurant i believe it was 32$. My wifes chicken parm was reallly good, nice crispy chicken with a delicious tangy sauce. The pizza was mainly for my daughter but i follow some of their stuff on social media and wanted to try it myself. It was good about what you'd expect for a margarita you know Neapolitan style , i did love the dough on it and sauce very worthy especially if you like that style. Overall id go back for the chicken parm and pizza, also id like to try some of their other pastas.

Best pizza place around! I’ve been going to Posto since their previous location at Davis Square. They have the best Neapolitan style pizza around. The almond one it’s the best pizza I ever had. Incomparable. I recommend this place to everyone around. Hidden gem

Absolutely in love everything about this place was beautiful. The atmosphere was amazing. The service was impeccable.. Everyone was so friendly! Even the playlist was on point every song that we heard we loved. The food was absolutely delicious. I am so glad that we only live right across the street because we will be coming frequent visitors. I can’t wait to try every dish on the menu.

Went here for the first time on a Friday night. Place was full and the atmosphere was great. Large portions (even for the kids meals) and the food was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meals (various pizzas, shrimp linguine) . Our server was awesome and very accommodating. A member of our party mistakenly ordered a white sangria instead of red and he quickly switched it out without issue. A great experience overall!

politan pizza was delicious, with a soft, airy crust and high-quality ingredients. The sauce was fresh and flavorful, and the mozzarella was perfectly melted. The appetizer was also very good, well-seasoned and served hot, making it a great start to the meal. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it.

The bar team on Saturday night was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, their energy, hospitality, and professionalism stood out. Every cocktail was crafted beautifully and tasted amazing — you could tell they truly take pride in their craft. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire experience unforgettable. Huge shoutout to the whole team for delivering such an exceptional night. They exceeded every expectation! Highly recommend.

Maria was our server and she was awesome! Thanks Maria! Friendly, accommodating, and really made the experience enjoyable. We tried the carpaccio and garlic pane to start, and both were fantastic. For cocktails, the berry affair was cloyingly sweet and hard to finish, but the sun kissed was refreshing and perfectly balanced. Such a great drink! The swordfish was tender and flavorful, and the eggplant pizza was the highlight of the evening - absolutely delicious with a great blend of textures and flavors. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and Maria's attentive service really elevated the whole experience. That said, I found the restaurant a little pricey for what you get. Still worth a visit if you don't mind spending a bit more, and definitely go for the sun kissed cocktail.

I had dinner here with my parents. The fried brussels sprouts were delicious. Didn't even taste like vegetables, haha. The meatballs were decent but I've had better. I loved the cheese on top and the sauce they came in. The Tuscan seafood stew, and carbonara pasta were both good. I loved the bacon bits that came with the carbonara, and the noodles were nice and aldente. The swordfish tasted like it was grilled which I am not personally a fan of. The pizza was the star of the show. Each pie was remarkable and super delicious! I always like to get the margherita as a baseline when I go to a new pizza place, and here it did not disappoint. The meat and mushroom was also quite nice. My favorite two pizza's were the peach and the almondi (not pictured). The sweetness of the peach pie is such a unique flavor and with the onions it works well. The almondi was a 10/10. I love ricotta cheese on pizza. The ricotta blended with the almond bits and honey drizzle is something I didn't know I wanted but now I want it again and again. Each pizza came out the perfect temperature, and the crust was soft and still crunchy, perfection. Some of the best pizza I have ever had. Our server, Rafael, was delightful. He was kind and provided some great recommendations including the almondi pizza. They give you completely new dishware with each course which was a first for me, pretty cool. Overall, an amazing experience. Definitely on the more expensive side for restaurants but it is 100% worth it IMO. I will definitely be back to try the soprasata pizza and more.

We tried 4 pizza flavors which varied from very good (soppressata) to meh (roasted garlic). Also sampled 2 pastas (fungi and carbonara) and they were solid, but both definitely could have used more salt. The Caesar salad was nothing special. Overall decent/10

The fungi pasta was the best I had in Boston and the carbonara was decent. The atmosphere was nice and food was prepped super fast. I had to ask for my waiter by talking to a different passing by waiter for service and when it was time to tip, I wanted to do 18% but the waiter pulled away the credit card machine and gave me a look. She had previously selected 20% and asked me to sign which was a little rude but other than that, she was nice!

I have tried their pizza and pasta; I’d say the pasta quality holds up to good north end restaurants; the sauce is rich and the pasta is cooked to perfection. Their pizza is good not great. The staff there are really friendly and the place feels cozy!

Cool place! The service was awesome, views are nice, area is great. The food was good as well, the olives were really good. I found the pizza was good, but wasn’t amazing, especially for the price tag — We had 2 beers, 2 pizzas, and olives, and all in was $110. But overall good place.

Came here for lunch when this location opened up because someone said the Pizza is top 50 and TikTok was hyping it up. We were seating immediately with friendly service. Ordered the spicy meat lovers pizza and a mushroom pasta. The pizza had good flavor, bit salty, loved the pepper, however the pizza bottom was not crisp but rather soggy and so thin we couldn’t hold the pizza up. At this price, expected more from the pizza. The mushroom pasta was really flavorful and creamy, good breadcrumb texture and would get again. The atmosphere is nice in here with music, they dimmed the lights halfway through our meal, families and bigger groups of people seated too. Overall a good experience and nice addition to Assembly Row. Will come try the drinks here next time. Edit. Came back bc that mushroom fungi pasta so good. And tried the spicy meat lovers pizza again. It still didn’t hold up structurally but tasted good. Tried the short rib gnocchi but it was so bland and boring total fail Tatte has better short rib down the road. Tried some wines and was happy with the service and atmosphere. Gave one more star for the experience this time around.

The food was good, but the service outside was slow. We never got our appetizers. We told the server who brought our main dishes, but nothing happened. Later, we told our waiter and asked to cancel them, but he never confirmed it. The waiter only checked on us once during the whole meal.

Ordered the burrata with no prosciutto, I’ve never had burrata with watermelon before and it was so fresh and light, a fabulous idea. My daughter ordered the kids spaghetti and I ordered the pesto. The dish was very big for a lunch dish, I didn’t particularly care for the shrimp that was served with the pasta just simply because they were too big and I do wish my pesto pasta had been more traditional but it was still very good with the peas and the tomatoes. We ordered the trio of cannolis which were decent. Personally would not return but our waiter was very nice as were all the other staff members around us!

The restaurant was nice and clean. The pizzas, while not quite as good as the ratings suggested, were still enjoyable.

Ordered food for delivery so can't say much about service or atmosphere. Food was reasonably priced and very tasty in quality though lacking in quantity. Was not a fan of their pizza, but their pastas and sides were very good.

I would like to say 5 ⭐️, but a couple services issues make a 4 start experience. My wife & I were sitting in a high top by the window. Not server show up for like 10-15 minutes so we decided to move to the bar. Then it turn to another experience, bar guis were great and easy, I think Ezequiel was this me of the guys. But food wise, they are doing everything right, I loved every dish. The carpaccio is something else, the burrata and watermelon salad is amazing, and then then pizzas are unique and delicious, recommend the Sopressata Pizza. Food is 10/10, and great prices for the zone they are

A colleague recommended this restaurant, and it lived up to my expectations. The Bruschetta was magnificent, wish the bread was a tad crispier though. But the blend of flavors was delightful. The Garlic Pane was very tasty, but it did not really resemble garlic bread. It tasted more like cheese sticks with a spicy marinara sauce, but it was good, however. Carbonara was breathtaking. Best one I have had until the moment. The egg yolk on top really adds to the texture, 10/10. The Rigatoni could be better; In my opinion, the flavor was kind of bland. The restaurant itself is pretty, elegant yet casual vibe. It seemed to be a little chilly in there, though. The service was excellent. Overall, decent Italian spot in Somerville. Worth the visit.

What a disappointment! I recently read that the pizza maker here was rated among the best in the industry, and as someone that grew up in Somerville, I really want to support local places. The food was fantastic!! But, a restaurant can't survive on food alone. The service here on Sunday was some of the worst I've ever experienced in any restaurant, anywhere! My wife and I planned a date day at Muse Paintbar, and decided to do lunch here. Unfortunately; the service was so bad, we won't be going back! The wait to be seated was confusing at best. After we were seated it was a solid 10 minutes before we got water, and additional 10 minutes to order drinks and food. The food was delivered by a runner, and we didn't see a server again for the entirety of our visit! I literally had to flag someone down just so I could pay the bill! Completely unacceptable! Then once he came over, he actually said out loud how much the bill was!! All told including tax and tip I spent $99 on 1 pizza, a salad, and fried brussel sprouts without being acknowledged. As someone that's spent a lifetime in the restaurant and hospitality industry, I've never felt more used in my whole life! It's an awful shame to waste such culinary talent, when the FOH experience is SOOO BAD!

Overall, our experience here was just okay. The Caesar salad was a little peppery and very fishy, not a bad thing, I guess, just unexpected lol. The apple pizza was a 10/10 for sure, best thing we got. The carbonara was honestly really boring and didn't really leave a lasting impression. The drinks were pretty basic as well. It was a cute place though.

My friend and I are regulars at Posto Assembly and truly enjoy the food, the drinks, and the excellent service especially from the bar staff. It’s become one of our go-to spots in the area. We always pay the 5% kitchen appreciation fee with pleasure, because the food is genuinely excellent and consistent. However, we’ve had repeated unpleasant experiences with one of the managers, Joana. Her attitude toward us has been consistently unwelcoming and unprofessional. On multiple visits, she’s treated us with unnecessary coldness — especially when the place isn’t busy and she’s the one greeting tables. Our most recent issue was over the Torino Martini, which is on the drink menu with optional add-ons: +1 for butter waffle cookie, +2 for gelato, +4 for tiramisu. We ordered two and simply asked for the tiramisu on the side — something we’ve done before without any problem. Joana came to our table just to say it couldn’t be done, and spoke to us as if we were asking for a personal favor. She even said, “this is the last time,” and claimed it wasn’t possible because tiramisu is also listed on the dessert menu — which makes no sense, considering it’s clearly offered as an add-on to that drink. Her tone and attitude were completely off, and it left us feeling uncomfortable. We now always choose to sit at the bar, where we’re treated with kindness and professionalism. Posto has great food, great drinks, and a great team — but unfortunately, this one manager has been the only negative part of an otherwise fantastic experience. It's a shame when one person makes you feel less welcome than the entire rest of the staff works so hard to do.

The crust and undering was rather soft & almost too doughy. I figured with brick oven it would be nice crisp & have some decent crunch. The flavor was alright but overall it wasn't the greatest it's a 6ish out of 10. Service was alright. Place is loud and crowded so if you're not wild about that i'd avoid it.

Great drinks, ok food. Pear cocktail was excellent. Meatball pizza was extremely doughy with a lot of flop. Topping was crumbly little pieces of meatball. Not what I was expecting. Worthy of a second chance but the raved about pizza won’t be an optional choice.

This was my first time in since Posto moved from Davis Sq. Service was slow; I waited over 5 mins to be greeted by the server once I was sat. Food came out quick but then I sat for 10-15mins waiting to be cleared and get the check. That’s totally understandable if it were busy, but it was dead (maybe 2 other parties in the restaurant). I will say the server and host were both friendly. The pizza was tasty but not the same as I remember it. Love the flavor of the dough, but overall it could’ve used a longer cook time.

Had a really poor pick up experience with an extremely long wait and overly salty pizza. Food: Obviously since I picked up and ate it 20 minutes after it was handed to me it’s not as good as freshly baked, but I can still say it was overly salty and disappointing for the price. Service: While the staff tried to be nice, it did feel like they were brushing me off every time I asked about my pickup order. After waiting 45 minutes (the original quoted wait when we ordered online) I went and asked about the order. I was repeatedly told just 5-10 more minutes until waiting close to 30 minutes longer. 1 hr 15 min wait for 2 personal pizzas is way too long. Atmosphere: The interior was quite cozy and atmospheric, but knowing I might have to wait longer than an hour for a pizza turned me off from coming and dining in person.

I've been wanting to try the pizza here since it was rated in the top 100 in the country. Today is my birthday so I decided to come here. Sadly, 170 dollars later I was pretty disappointed. For appetizer we ordered arancini which was pretty good, very light but good. The Chicken Parmesian was honestly some of the worst I've had. There was barely any pasta in my plate. I appreciate the size of the chicken but there was barely any pasta to eat it with. And the chicken was barely even breaded. It tasted more like baked chicken in sauce. Lastly, we got a pizza. It was ok, a little too burnt for my tasting. Obviously, its a Neapolitan which i do like but wasn't worth the hype. I dont write reviews much and hate writing negative reviews but for 170 bucks I felt compelled too. The biggest disappointment was the chicken parm, I really wanted some good pasta and chicken for my birthday. It was disappointing. And for a place that represents italian, there was no free bread as a starter. In all fairness, my mom loved the Bolognese but I wouldn't come back.

When we arrived, we sat for a long time before anyone came to our table, even though other tables were being served quickly. Nobody checked on us or asked about our food. We ordered one pizza with pepperoni and mushroom, but instead two pizzas were brought out by mistake. When we mentioned it, the staff simply added mushrooms on top of the pepperoni pizza instead of correcting the order.

The place looks nice but the staff is horrible. We had a reservation and were waiting in the line to reach the reception and were told very rudely that we were 5 minutes late. Should have walked out in that moment, unfortunately we didn’t. We had the bruschetta, margherita, and apple white pizza. Nothing was nice and I love pizza. Wasn’t affordable either.
