I grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and ate at Taco Bueno all the time, loved it. This experience was ok but I was hoping for more. The food wasn't bad it just didn't seem to taste the same, I had the Bueno Chilada platter.

Drinks are always flat...if they work at all. Barely any meat on the tacos. I typically like taco Bueno but no this one.

Food was pretty good. Not happy about the horrible tasting fountain drinks. They’re all flat with no carbonation. Fuze Raspberry Tea was out as well. Please service and recalibrate the fountain drink machines.

Just spare yourself and don’t come here. Got my order wrong twice and tried to serve me a burrito with unmelted cheese ? I asked them if they could fix it and they just put the burrito on the grill, so then it was more of a bean quesadilla rather than a burrito. The employee at the counter also had a horrible attitude.

Waited almost 20 minutes in the drive thru for 2 value menu items $1.69 + tax each. Was told my total was $3.66 at the speaker but when I pulled up, I was given back $5 and a few coins. The math ain’t mathin. Didn’t realize it until I got home. Won’t be back.

I dont know if all taco joints are hard hearing or they just dont care. I order my food say it plainly and its like they dont listen fix it wrong anyway. If they were slam I could understand but,they're not busy most of the time they get it wrong.

Unfortunately, my food arrived lukewarm unlike previous orders, the Chicken Muchaco Platter's muchaco & soft taco both had a peculiar slightly sour rank taste to the chicken as if the meat wasn't fresh & on the verge of spoiling; I've tasted chicken & turkey that way before, so I remember that taste. And I didn't receive guac or sour cream on the platter as usual or customary, nor queso for the chips & no sides of jalapeno peppers, onions, & salsa, all as per my request. To say that I was disappointed is an understatement cause I didn't expect this. Therefore, I won't be a return customer to this location again. I really hate to leave a review like this, but I have to be honest & forewarn with caution to anyone about to order from them.

Run down outside looks neglected and landscaping is terribly neglected. Ice tea had so ice and my food bag had no utensils. When I asked for a cup of ice and spoon the server looked at me like a frown.

On 8/19/25 received text from my credit card that @ 3:59am an unauthorized transaction was charge. I went to restaurant Today asked to speak to Manager , worker said no Manger was there until 7pm, asked if there was a Shift leader or Shift Supervisor again no one on Shift, how can a problem be solved if no one in charge is present or staff can't, won't or afraid to contact Supervisors. Last time I made a purchase at Conroes Taco Bueno was over 3 weeks ago.Iam not satisfied at all.

The food here was hot and tasted good, but the cleanliness was unacceptable. We were the only customers, and there were five employees working. Not one table was clean. As soon as they took our order, they went back to sitting down instead of wiping tables or tidying the floors. Clearly not on break, just not making any effort to maintain the dining area. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when the place feels this dirty.

If I could put a zero star I would. Just went through the drive through and ordered food, was missing food therefore went inside to get the missing items. While she was remaking the food they were NOT wearing gloves. I ended up throwing away 31.71 worth of food. That is nasty and completely unacceptable. When I asked her what her name was she would not give it to me.

I bought 20 dollars worth of food and we couldn't even eat it. The chips where so salty we couldn't eat them. The nachos where so salty and spicy we couldn't eat them. Money isn't free. And we had to throw all our food away. Very upset wasn't happy at all. Update been calling since Sunday it's now Tuesday they will not answer the phone can someone please get back with me on this matter?

DO NOT GO HERE. So we decided to try this place 11/30/23. Went in and ordered food for the whole family. Spent 41$. I get home and over half my food is missing. I paid for 3 brisket tamales, I got 1. I paid for a beef Chilada plate, got the tacos, beans and rice, no Chilada. And the whole time I'm there the cashier has this horrible attitude like she doesn't want to do her job or even look at you. Just this disgusted look the whole time. And to boot the food we did get was cold, when I only drove back to Montgomery before eating which isn't a far drive. Literally have NOTHING good to say about this place. Don't waste your money, time or energy here. Go to Taco Bell or something. Screw this place.
