One of the best meals we had. Golden hour was great, good drinks and we got white bean with veggies and also the burrata (didn’t take a pic) Both were so delicious. Chilean Sea Bass was like butter - to die for. Yellowfin Tuna - also like butter and to die for. Salmon was cooked to perfection and delicious. View just tops off what an amazing experience we had here. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Come early before sunset, trust me! 😊
Phenomenal service and food! Executive Chef, Pepe, blew us away with these dishes! Also this is the restaurant to celebrate anything on the Island - stunning setup and views! To service was impeccable. I wish we remembered his name but it was a kind, taller gentleman who looked after our table last Saturday evening and he was fantastic - patient, kind, hospitable energy. The tuna tartare was the table favorite appetizer - with a perfect ratio of tuna to sauce, paired with deliciously airy yet crispy chips. Classic appetizer but very well done here at Seasalt. The mains worth mentioning were the Whole Fried Snapper and the Miso Sea Bass. The snapper was presented beautifully and cooked perfectly. From the saffron consommé to the mashed yuca base, it gave depth and heartiness to a dish with a light, flaky fish. Be warned, this dish is huge! The miso chilean sea bass was also a star. The fish was so tender that it would gently fall apart at the edge of your work before you even pick up a knife to cut it. We could barely finish our plates so we had to get dessert to go. Couldn’t pass the opportunity. We ordered the chocolate mousse to go and my sister and I pretty much finished it right when we got back to the hotel. If you love chocolate - this one is a must try. It was rich with a prominent flavor of cocoa and whipped cream that complimented the richness perfectly. Perfect for milk or dark chocolate lovers! It was a perfect balance in the middle.
We made a last minute reservation to celebrate our anniversary and were so happy with our choice! Great attentive service, nice ambiance and delicious food. We had tuna and sea bass as our entrees and both were amazing. Absolutely loved the wasabi mashed potato that comes with the tuna. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion this is the one.
Great views, amazing food, incredible atmosphere and top notch service. Caribbean Cioppino and Sea Bass were phenomenal. We dined here in 2022 when it first opened and visited again on Thanksgiving Eve 2025. It was one for the books. The chef even stopped by the table to check on us. He insisted we try his special desert and it was amazing. Compliments to the chef!! Will return soon!
We spent two weeks in the VI and this was our absolute favorite restaurant experience! We came to celebrate our anniversary and could not asked for a better experience. Enjoyed a delicious meal with tasty drinks, while watching the sunset and listening to waves lap on the beach below…. 10/10 for sure! The view is simply unbeatable. I only wish I remember our server’s name to give him a shout out because he was absolutely AMAZING!! Made our experience an unforgettable one.
Fantastic restaurant in Sapphire Beach. Great food, great service, and overlooking the beach. Everything was outstanding from the fish bites appetizer, the barratta, and the pork chop was amazing. Plus they make their own in house tonic for the gin and tonic. I went with the tamarind which was great.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sea Salt at Sapphire Beach is absolutely top notch! The food, the service, the views — all incredible. The fish bites were delectable, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. But the whole fried fish? That dish stole the show! Crispy, fresh, and hands-down one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere is laid-back yet upscale, and the views of Sapphire Beach are simply unmatched. You can’t ask for a better setting to enjoy such phenomenal food. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place — a must-visit when in St. Thomas!
I highly recommend you share plates, they serve large portions. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was attentive. The only issue was the espresso machine was broken. But they did have regular coffee that was offered. Not only was the food good, the location and view of the beach is absolutely gorgeous.
I was super impressed with the food here. Wasn’t sure what to expect, but every single appetizer was phenomenal. My entrée and my best friend’s entrée was also completely on point. My husband and his friend got the ribeye, and I will say that was nearly impossible to chew, although the temperature was correct. I blame them for ordering steak in the first place when there are more fresh seafood options than you know what to do with. This was close to $500 with tip so it’s definitely a splurge meal but I would rate it worth it!
One of the best service in St. Thomas. ANDREW, you were phenomenal. Thank you and the whole team for giving us a great experience. Im a honest believer that great food with great service makes everything else great. Seasalt does have an incredible ambiance and delicious drinks. But service stood out for me! Looking forward to coming back to this restaurant.
Dining at Sea Salt in St Thomas was pure bliss! The tuna and fish of the day were expertly prepared with bold, mouth-watering flavors that left me wanting more. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the breathtaking view - the perfect backdrop for a fantastic meal. The atmosphere was lively yet intimate, and the service was top-tier - attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic. If you're looking for a culinary experience that combines stunning views, exceptional cuisine, and outstanding service, look no further than Sea Salt.
We had a fantastic dining experience at Sea Salt in St Thomas last night! The waterfront setting is beautiful. There’s a casual beach bar with live music downstairs, but the atmosphere upstairs is decidedly more food-centric in a modern coastal setting. Service is friendly and not at all pretentious. Seafood is the star of the show here, without a bad dish in the bunch! I’m still thinking about my scrumptious sea bass. 😋 The cocktails were also delicious, and - a nice touch - they have as many mocktails as specialty cocktails on the menu.
Great restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Highly recommend the sea bass — perfectly cooked and full of flavor.
Had an amazing experience at SeaSalt! The service was outstanding, our server, Catalina, was incredibly kind and attentive. The gnocchi was perfectly soft and delicious, and the Chilean sea bass was an absolute highlight. Every drink we tried was excellent as well. The manager was also very welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. Great food, fantastic service!
My husband and I were staying at Sapphire and decided to try this restaurant one night. We had the best waitress who was personable and the view was phenomenal. We had the octopus special for an appetizer, an ahi tuna special, and the king snapper. Plus a wonderful bottle of wine. We talked about this meal the whole trip.
Everything was so tasty! The service was a little rough even though we had a reservation but they definitely made it right. The vibe was so romantic and beautiful. They even got us something special for our honeymoon!!
Very nice Restaurant, food was Delicious and the people very Friendly and honest about the menu items, I enjoyed my experience here.
Sea Bass and yellowfin tuna were delightful. The bamboo rice was phenomenal! Lobster lollipop and pork belly shown for appetizers. What a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful place to spend dinner on the patio. Full moon party at sapphire every month and you get the view without the crowd!
Wow. Impressive! We’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open for years! Went for the first time last night and was totally impressed. The space is gorgeous-open, airy, beautifully lit, romantic. The staff is very nice and professional. Shout out to Ashley who was an excellent server. And the food was great. It’s not cheap. BUT if you want a really nice special occasion or getaway dinner with great ambiance and don’t want to have to fight the Red Hook parking police, this should be your new go to spot in the East End.
Seasalt, St. Thomas – A Hidden Gem Absolutely loved our dinner at Seasalt! The ambiance was stylish yet relaxed — perfect for a cozy evening out. The cocktail I had was not only stunning but refreshing, with layered flavors and crushed ice that made it a delight to sip on. The steak was perfectly seared and juicy, served on a hot stone with fresh pico de gallo, and a hint of chimichurri — packed with flavor. And the fries? Crispy, golden, and just the right amount of salty goodness. Seasalt delivered on taste, presentation, and vibe. Definitely recommend a wonderful night or a classy dinner with friends.
We had such a beautiful time & meal at SeaSalt. Amazing views, sweet staff & decor, & excellent food! We started with the Chicken Lettuce Wraps-yuzu ponzu, tomato ceviche, spicy sesame aioli, crispy leeks, bib lettuce, then had the most flavorful + fall off the bone, Braised Short Rib-*french cut bordeaux braised, habanero candied carrots, goat cheese potato mash, crispy leek. The Whole Caribbean Lobster-cajun fire grilled, julienne vegetables, lobster consommé was such a statement piece, & so juicy & delicious! We finished it all off with Guava Donuts w/ vanilla bean ice cream. Holy yum!!!
We had the ribeye and snapper. 100000000% recommend this place for a fancy dinner night! The cocktails were also spectacular! The sunset view on the patio dinner time will be hard to beat!
SeaSalt is a restaurant on Sapphire Beach with good food, a fantastic bar, and a world-class wine selection. We were seated quickly with a reservation although, as with many other USVI restaurants, seating was limited due to inclement weather. The service was friendly ad efficient and the food was very tasty. We found a wine in their list from northern Italy (Piedmont) whose maker we recognized but we did not know they made a white. It was the perfect accompaniment to our meal and it was very reasonably priced. Loved it.
I made dinner reservations at SeaSalt for my wife and I's 1st wedding anniversary. And they did not disappoint. Upon arrival there was a card signed by the staff at the table wishing us an happy anniversary, Ashley was our server and she was fantastic. Provided us with top notch service, treated us like we were her only table and even brought us a celebratory champagne toast with a sparkler on the house! We got 2 cocktails bither were great, the snapper fish bites were very good, and we split a Ceasar salad and ribeye steak which was tender and delicious. And the view of the water with the sound of the waves crashing was so relaxing. I would definitely recommend SeaSalt for a nice dinner out while on St Thomas
First time going, but will most definitely not be the last. We flew in from Michigan and would fly in again for this food. Easily one of the best dinners we've ever had and our waiter (Dylon) was fantastic and willing to help with every question we asked him. The kitchen was spot on and ran great (the timing of the food was perfect) thanks to the sous chef (Ben) who came and congratulated us on our honeymoon while also dropping off two desserts that were fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection and my wife said it was some of the best lobster she had ever eaten. If I had more words to describe the experience Ben and Dylon showed us then I would write them all. 5/5, 10/10, perfect on whatever scale you want to measure it on. Food definitely worth the price and would suggest all that if possible, stop by and try it. Amazing job Ben and Dylon, they both deserve raises.
Loved this restaurant. Stunning views and delectable food. Lovely golden hour with discounted drinks and food (5-6pm). Had fresh yellow fish tuna, papaya salad, and Caesar salad. All amazing! Stunning views of the beach and other islands (St. John etc).
My husband and I ate here after enjoying time on Sapphire Beach. We ate dinner here to change it up from all the fried food that is mostly served on the island. It was delicious! We didn’t do any research, just showed up to see their menu. Reservations are needed but the bar was open seating so we sat there and Emily was our server and bartender! She was so sweet! We had two appetizers, the pork belly on bau bun and the market catch of the day with spicy sesame aioli. Both delicious and filling. We didn’t get their menu cocktails instead we got their virgin hibiscus fizz drink and then added tequila and it was delish! We finished with after hour cocktail (basically their espresso martini) - we were pretty full from apps so didn’t get an entree. Definitely a pricier place but we enjoyed it!
Great Caribbean Lobsters! Lovely cocktails! Did mess up a little with our order but it was for good as portions were big and we were full anyways!
We dined at Sea Salt on 3/9/23. We were lost and running late and received a call from the restaurant which we thought was really nice. He gave us better directions and we finally found it. It was my birthday as we were asked if there was a special occasion, but it was never acknowledged. The restaurant is beautiful, the views breathtaking and the food was delicious. Dylan our waiter was attentive and personable. The pumpkin cheesecake was disappointing as it should really be called a flan and it was very very small! The food is pricey but worth the expense for a special occasion . The best food that we had all week.
Oh my goodness! No power at home so we decided to do Sea Salt at Sapphire for Saturday brunch. It was excellent. Stan had the Dutch baby pancake and I had the Cubano. Both were deliciously flavorful. Of course Jake took care of us like a champ! BTW, the beach looked clean and people were swimming. There have warnings to stay out of water because of all the storm runoff.
We went for dinner and drinks and found a great, fun atmosphere. Our bartender Courtney was friendly and made the best drinks. I do not usually drink, but Courtney’s drinks were so good I had to indulge. Food was really good and view was perfect. You must visit this spot when on the island.
Wonderful restaurants specializing in seafood. Great appetizers great drinks and great service as well. Best meal we had while we were on the island!!!! Highly recommended.
This restaurant only service dinner and it is expensive... but the food is so worth it. I got the Lionfish. It came out on my plate as a whole fish (see picture below). I loved the presentation and the taste, it was the most amazing fish I've ever had! The restaurant sit above some shops which gives a beautiful view of the beach and the ocean as well. Would definitely go back again!
I had the absolute pleasure of being served by Lea, and she truly made my dining experience exceptional. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and professional. Lea has a natural way of making guests feel welcome and cared for, she anticipated our needs without ever being overbearing and always had a genuine smile. Not only was she knowledgeable about the menu, but she also made thoughtful recommendations that we ended up loving. Drinks were always refilled on time, our food arrived promptly, and she made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Lea’s attention to detail, kindness, and positive energy really stood out and elevated the entire evening.
The food is excellent. The exsecutive Che Pepe is the best is wonderful guy, is education he come had say everithyng okey.. thanks Chef Pepe I will come back because evrithing is super super good. Gad bless you. El
Thank you, SeaSalt! My fiance and I celebrated our engagement at SeaSalt. We sat at the bar with Mike, and he took great care of us. The star of the restaurant is the hostess. She was patient with us, since we were almost an hour late for our initial reservation. She gifted us a congratulatory note, signed by her and her coworker, which was so sweet I could've cried. We shared the lobster lollipop's appetizer, which were better than we expected. We also shared the ceviche appetizer, which was delicious, fresh, and unexpectedly creamy! For an entree, we shared the Chilean Sea Bass, and OH MY GOODNESS, it was cooked to perfection! The only disappointment was the goat cheese mashed potatoes, which not only doesn't have enough goat cheese, but it also had the consistency of instant mashed potatoes. The staff also sent us a celebratory dessert, fried guava with ice cream, which was to die for. Thank you again to the staff that made this evening a special memory that I will forever cherish!
This place is worth the money. Yes, it’s expensive. But the portions are hefty, the food is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is A+. It’s decorated beautifully and the sunset views gorgeous. The truffle gnocchi was a favorite at our table - my dish but the husband & both kids kept stealing bites. The chocolate mousse was also to dieeee for. Fantastic meal.
My mom and I was there for Christmas. The food was amazing! My mom had caught a cold and Brian, the manager, was great! He gave her some turmeric tea he made and she felt better the next day.
The restaurant is very beautiful with fascinating architecture. It has spectacular views of the beautiful beach, islands and hillsides. The ambiance was busy but nice. Staff members were welcoming. Our server Michelle was great! The food was interestingly displayed and tasty. The only issue we had were the unrelenting merciless sand flies that bite us throughout our evening dinner. The staff did offer bug repellent though.
This is a nice upscale restaurant to eat at with a nice view. I recommend the guava filled doughnut for dessert. It was delicious my favorite part of the meal.
We were honestly a little nervous when walking through the Saphire beach resort bar to reach the restaurant . Not exactly the upscale ambiance we were hoping for! But the restaurant itself was lovely . Our waitress was very sweet and the food was tasty. The doughnut desert was so good
The food was very good and nicely presented, a bit bougie but enjoyable. Our server was friendly, and we liked the overall experience. The only downside was that several birthdays were being celebrated, including ours, and every other table got the birthday lights and celebration except us. It was a little disappointing, but the meal itself was great.
The food was GREAT!!!! The Lobster quality and preparation far exceeded the Caribbean Fish Market and the Sun Set Grille. Food and scenery gets 5 Stars. The server, Natalie was a zero star; therefore, the overall score was three stars. Natalie did not prioritize our needs on any level as her focus remained on her customers that were part of a corporate group. #treateverycustomerthesame #equalservice #youneverknowwhoisatyourtable #youlostthebiggesttipofthenight #terribleservice
We had the Cioppino, to our delight the seafood was done well but the dish over all was really difficult to eat! The Spice level was off the charts…. On a 1 to 5 it was a def 6. The King snapper was good but def not worthy of their reputation on the island. The drinks were the reason for the 3 stars. They were delicious! The Hemingway Spin was my fav! I will give it another shot…
I’ve been to this restaurant quite a few times and was never treated rudely like this. Our reservation was at 730. They weren’t ready for us which is fine. But then we kept seeing groups of people being sat (groups including just 2 people which was the same size as my party) we had to go up to the front counter twice with no one giving us an answer. Restaurant was not busy or anything like that. I finally went up to ask for a manager the third time. He happened to be standing right next to the hostess. He literally rolled his eyes and said “yes… that’s me…” I asked once again why were haven’t been sat? At this point it’s 750… They finally (with pure attitude) sat us down. The waiter is the one that saved the day. Food was not AT ALL worth the price. Try the donuts…. They may make your experience a little better!
Food and drinks were not the best and our server was not very attentive. Some of the dishes felt like the chef had a bag filled with papers listing different fancier ingredients and techniques and just chose them at random to go with each other. Just randomized buzz words of cuisine with no actual foresight into how it melded together. Just seemed like an Instagram-able restaurant with no real substance. Definitely not on the "Must go back" restaurants in the area.
The food is absolutely amazing. So kudos to the kitchen staff! However the wait staff is miserably incompetent, taking hours to take orders, bring drinks, checks, etc. If you have plenty of time and patience on your hands the worth a trip. Otherwise I do not recommend and will not return.
I’m giving the one star because the host was kind along with the waiter who assisted us with the issues we had with our food. We were excited to try this place. It’s beautifully decorated and always busy. We ordered the fish bites for an appetizer - this was the best dish we got. For dinner, we got the king snapper, the lettuce chicken wraps, and pork belly tacos. The king snapper was a 4 Oz piece of fish which was not specified on the menu - and for a whopping $56!!! It came with a fried piece of lettuce and a sausage shrimp cake - not worth the money at all - very disappointing. The pork belly was so dry I literally couldn’t bite through it and it was overwhelmingly sweet. Terrible dish. The chicken lettuce wraps were decent - very basic though for $26. Another waiter stopped by to ask how everything was and we expressed our concerns. He nicely explained he would take the pork belly tacos off the bill and apologized. It ended up being a hefty $150 bill and we left hungry still. So hungry we went to McDonald’s afterwards. Extremely disappointed leaving this place. Came all the way from CT and left hungry and wishing we just went to Sudi’s. I am a chef myself - I must say the menu needs to be reconstructed along with the prices. Your customers pay so much money and come from all over the world and deserve better.
I'd like to commend SeaSalt in managing the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant and doing it on my wedding night. We made reservations 4 months in advance, 3 hours before our dinner we were called and they bumped our reservation back 30 minutes, when we arrived the table they had set for our wedding party was in the bar area, not on the rail as promised. After drinks had arrived and we were enjoying each other's company, the hostess came with a tablet to "show us" we didn't request the rail, and re ignite the debate when it should've been left alone. (We had the email chain that confirmed 2x we were to be seated at the rail) then to cap it off my mother's and my meal were WAY overcooked, that's not an exaggeration....both were sent back, my mother's then came out correct. Everyone enjoyed their meal except me, the groom, while I waited for them to replace my meal, when it came out it was just as bad as the first one, so I ended up not eating dinner on my wedding night. I wish there was a 0 star rating because McDonald's would've been a better experience.
We had a party of 10 and the food ranged from not edible to very good. Absolutely no consistency, the service was terrible and the staff were extremely rude. Our party was a wedding party and the groom didn't even have dinner because his meal had to be sent back twice. Absolutely the worst restaurant experience we've ever had.
