Because it's Starbucks. Even though you get your share of petty thieving wanna be gangsters but only pranksters heorin addicts sleezing through(Sunlands' claim to the lamest dirtbags on the planet has an iron grip on first place), it's still got them 'bucks sandwiches( their Reuben rocks; the grilled cheese is an upgrade over the classic and they need to do the maple and pumpkin scones year around. Drive through window is decent.

This Saturday 12/18/2021 I want to let you know I went to Starbucks with my two daughters for breakfast this weekend like we actually love going every weekend but unfortunately today the cashier ask my daughters and I for my vaccination card and I an ID. I carry with my ID but my daughters don’t so we couldn’t seat inside like always do. I have not ever been asked for an ID except when I buy alcohol. Also why would my daughters carry with an ID to just go get breakfast sounds a little odd
When I think of this Starbucks, I think of Yogi Berra's words about a restaurant. He said to someone no one goes there anymore, it's always too busy. This is a great Starbucks, but a lot of the time I have to find a place to park on the street, because it's so popular.p

I pride myself on not being "that customer". So when I am and people are patient, I notice and appreciate it. I tried to switch things up from my usual drink and Luis was really patient with me. You know that thing where employees roll their eyes and sigh begrudgingly while you fumble through an order, with other customers in line behind you? That did not happen. Luis, they're lucky to have you here, though the whole store is commendable.
I love this Starbucks, it's the closest one to my house. I practically walk there every morning, and grab myself my favorite drink. The staff is really awesome, especially when they had Joe as the store manager. He was a long time SB employee that climbed the corporate ladder. Unfortunately he got promoted and got a brand new grand opening store, but over all the new guys is cool. I believe in SB, that's why I've taken the time to actually write about them.
I love Starbucks, so no complaints. This location is near my work, I generally order ahead and have had no issues. Likewise, customer service is top notch as I've come to expect from the locations that I frequent.

Always fast with my orders whether I walk in, go through drive-through, or use my app to order in advance and pick-up. They make an effort with remembering who I am, not just my name. No shade to Starbucks in general or to the employees at my favorite locations, but this is one of very few I’ve been to where it seems like everyone is well trained. I love coming here; even the one time I had to get something fixed, I left with a smile on my face. Also, give the girl in glasses at the window a raise! She consistently brightens my mornings.
I want to thank Stephanie for going above and beyond to help me find my bracelet I lost today while at Starbucks. Her willingness to even help me look through the trash in case my bracelet slipped off while i disposed of my coffee items, was the mark of an angel. This morning I went to this location for an online order. Picked the wrong Starbucks location on the app and was going to have to go drive to the other one. Well, I thought I did until Ryan the manager said he will take care of it. He is a very sweet person that didn't have to do that. I honestly didn't want to go to the other one lol and I think he knew that so he took care of everything with understanding and ease. Thanks Ryan!!!

For me, Starbucks never disappoints. Even in less than desirable areas, with not so friendly clientele. Staff super friendly and helpful. I like to try new things, and, as I am not a coffee afficionado, and almost always use breve and a lot of sugar, they never put me down or make fun of me, and they never give me a hard time about all that breve and sugar. That's why I am willing to pay Starbucks prices. Great service is well worth it!

It was a nice place to stop and grab a cup of coffee to go, we ordered and didn't have to wait long at all, the atmosphere was nice and quiet, except for a homeless person hanging out in the parking lot but he was not a bother to anyone, overall good experience and our coffee was made to our liking, definitely would be stopping by again if I'm ever in the area.
They updated the interior a while back and it's so bright and lively inside now. Added more seating for if you're there to work on your laptop or just waiting to pick up your drink. They're always busy but they work hard to get you your stuff quickly. Only had a mistake with a drink once and they happily fixed it no questions asked. My favorite local starbucks

Location is good, near hiking areas, plenty of parking spaces, clean restrooms, lots of indoor and outdoor sitting areas, good food and lots of merchandises. Of course, drinks are as good as it should be.
My fiance used to work at this Starbucks for years before it changed location and we love it here. Everyone is great, location is great, wonderful drinks and service. 5/5

This new starbucks location used to be a Burger King. It has a rather large parking lot, drive-thru, outdoor seating, large interior store location and bathroom facilities. The place is usually very busy in the mornings and can make it hard to turn out of the parking lot onto Foothill Blvd. There are many Starbucks locations on this strip of street in the Tujunga, Sunland, La Crescenta area, this one is closer to the 210 freeway, only about a mile off of the freeway.
Clean store, friendly service. Line gets SUPER long and takes a little while but if you order online or app and pick up inside it’s super quick.
Nice Starbucks - good sized seating, has a drive through (lines can get real long), and service is pretty good. The facility is clean looks new.

One of the biggest stores I've ever stepped into, which includes an outside patio. The patio alone is twice a big as most Starbucks dining areas. Surprisingly empty though. Way too many windows for typical employees to take care of. Get a pro- window washer, hint, hint...they look terrible inside and out.
This is not my normal Starbucks as I was just passing through. They got one order wrong but it tasted good. I gave 4 stars because they might need to fix their drive thru system. I didn't have to wait a long time in it though, which made the drive thru experience a pleasent one beside the previously mention of the incorrect order.
A little busy at times, but they have a friendly staff. Food and drinks don’t disappoint. Plus it’s in an area I frequent. Plus it’s a drive thru that moves quickly. Will keep coming back

Had to remake my drink 2 times, still wasn't right. Behind the counter was a bit of a mess. The cashier was very friendly and willing to help.

Starbucks in Sunland has been up and running a few short years. Large open floor plan. Good place to recharge. However, staff is very lacks on cleaning windows and door glass. Which makes this place look unkept. Staff needs to remember. People judge a facility on the cleanliness as well.. Dirty windows, means unhealthy environment.
Food and drinks fine but at early morning time and only 2 cars in front of us it was almost 30 Damm minutes it was ridiculous and the person at window acted like it was the end of the world because of actually working

I don't know what is wrong with their electrical outlets, though I am greatful they are there, but it seems they have them on very low voltage outlets, meaning it takes forever, if ever, to charge up. That is not fair nor is it right. The food wasn't that great and theur personnel is a little weird.

I get gift cards to this place, so I go there once in a while. If I were paying cash, I would opt to spend my money at the nearby Backdoor Bakery. Staff is friendly. But this is Sunland, so there are many homeless fomer and current junkies lurking about, especially in the blistering hot front patio. They are usually passed out or sleeping, so they don't seem to be bothering anyone. When they are awake, they usually just rummage through the trash can outside. I guess Starbucks has had some bad P.R. recently about asking non-paying "customers" to leave, so now they seem to be afraid of their own shadow and anyone can just use the place as a temporary shelter during business hours. Also, the coffee is a little too bitter for my taste.
I put in a mobile pick up order. When I showed up the place was closed and the Security Guard says wait in line in the drive through. Really ? It out the driveway and up the street. Shouldn’t take mobile orders if they are close. Now my card is charged and no food
This Starbucks is going downhill because of the owner and possibly management there's no supplies they either don't have the right syrups they will not supply you with cup carriers and they're cut back on everything I used to be a regular until yesterday the basic staff is great but management and the owner expecially hard cutting back too much unless it's because they can't buy the supplies or can't afford the supplies
Waited for a decaf, 20 minutes while drive thru and others were served. Reporting you to your corporate office. Asked twice for my coffee, watched people come in and after me served! Would like a refund next time I go in; last time.
The drinks and food are becoming so aweful. Always adding to much water in the refreshers or coffee being boring... the prices are getting ridiculous and the drinks are getting worse... I used to come here daily for 8 years... last 2 years I try my best to avoid coming here. It isn't worth it anymore. Food is either over cooked or under cooked. Drinks are like 5.75-9 bucks if u customize it, and like ur forced to customize it cause they are adding to much water or making their products very basic with no taste. Only good thing left is the chestnut praline latte but that's a holiday christmas drink
Coffee is always good and drinks accurate. This review is for the drive through. Usually much slower than other Starbucks. This particular morning I am in line now 19 minutes and 7 cars in front of me before being able to order. Please fix this. Some Starbucks are so fast with their drive through and this is by far the slowest I have experienced but today was unreal how slow it is.

Prices high, quality low, and plus - they ask you to "answer the question." Guess what? The question is always the same - how much the tip is? Now they use their machine for this stupid question. Not only you pay a good amount for a cup of coffee, then they mandate you to pay an additional tip. So cheap!
They need to teach the employees to put the on-line orders on the counter that correspond with the letters. OR remove the letters on the counter. That way, I would not have to wait 20 minutes for my coffee until I ask the staff.

Don't do mobile orders over here had to wait over 25 minutes for a drink in a little sandwich while they're sitting there chit-chatting not a way to make a customer feel happy never coming back here again

Online it said they close at 10:30 and it said they were open still. I arrive to this location and it’s closed early. It’s ridiculous how early they closed. I can understand if they were to close 10 minutes early but 40 minutes early is ridiculous.

The place is full of homeless. We left bc the woman next to us smelled like feces. One other woman was fully opening the cinnamon and chocolate containers, touching the dispenser lids with her dirty hands and putting them back on. Another homeless guy walked through shouting gibberish and then left. Another one walked outside and started screaming at nothing. This is the only Starbucks where I've seen a posted security guard. He just wasn't doing his job. Service is otherwise great. The employees are beautiful people. I usually only use the drive thru, but had some work to do. I'll take my business down to Backdoor Bakery down the street.
Whenever I go to this store my beverage never tastes right and I always feel terrible asking for the baristas to fix/redo my beverage. However, this past Thursday I ordered two venti iced coffees with cream and 3 pumps vanilla and 3 pumps white mocha. Since I’ve had really bad luck at this location I thought that this would be simple enough to not screw up. Nope. I got my beverages and neither of them tasted right (mind you - I get this specific beverage frequently at other locations so I’m familiar with the flavor). It tasted like the barista put a couple of pumps of some sort of natural sweetener (sugar cane, stevia, agave) and that’s it. I apologized and said they didn’t taste right and if they could just add the pumps of vanilla and white mocha. I got a rude attitude from the barista helping me. I left and went about my day only to have me and my friend getting sick after we drank about a quarter of our coffees. The cream kept separating from our coffees so I think maybe the cream had soured. I tried contacting Starbucks twice to no avail. I’m sad that this happened and I wish I had better experiences at this location.
I go to this starbucks because it is on my way to work. Most days they will get my drink wrong. I always order mocha and for some reason they change it to white mocha and im stuck with it since i have no time to wait for another. Weekends the wait is incredibly long, both inside and drive through. They also let the homeless roam inside as well as walk through the drive thru begging for money. They squeeze between the wall and drivers door and staff tells them nothing.
This starbucks sucks. The workers there ignore you if you have a mobile order. Aside from that your oder is never ready upfront for you to just grab and be on your way. You have to wait until they feel like helping you out. Very disappointed.... rather drive 10 more mins and go to the one in La Cañada Flintridge.
Says they close at 10pm but their drive through is closed and they’re turning people away at the door at 9:30pm. Update your hours online if you’re closing at different times. It wastes all of our time driving to this location.
I respect and love bartistas at starbucks but i was very disaapponted at this location. After buying my drinks i asked Kristina for iced water 3x, she kept replying 'sure' and never got back to me, i waited 15 minutes then asked another bartista who was happy to help righ away.
Unfortunately this is the Starbucks closest to my work and I always make the mistake of coming here. You can order your drink an hour in advance, it will still not be ready.

This place is horrible they can’t even make a basic Mocha
The Tujunga location is serving food items in the strawberry refresher that WILL make you sick. See pic below avoid unless you want to be very ill. Staff at location makes excuses and argues with the customer about the quality and keeps serving the same bad items to more people. Good luck with having your immune system compromised during the Covid.
I truly believe this is the worst Starbucks I've ever been in my entire life. They care more about their drive-thru people than people that come into the place. And they prefer that you get your order to go, they don't want you hanging out in their store. The only Starbucks I've ever been in where there's a security guard.
worst starbucks store I’ve ever been to. We were offended by the employees who deliberately made wrong orders and had us wait for FORTY minutes. I have reported their totally unacceptable behavior to the authorities.
You know I’m never unhappy with this store but today I am. I ordered a drink and had someone pick it up for me and they were told it was not ready since the tea needed to brewed and I understand that. But why would you tell the person that it’s better to get the drink hot than iced if I want it iced. If it is so hard for you to brew the tea then maybe the iced option should be taken off the menu because honestly hearing that after having a hard day just made me so upset and then it wasn’t even made right, they didn’t give me the correct milk. So it’s very upsetting. I don’t know if I’d come back to this location for my drinks.
Worst service ever. I go there almost every day and they never have change from $100 and I have to find coins in my car every time and get just coffee instead of coffee and food. They have no sigh that they don’t accept $100
went for coffee and a bite the morning of mother's day..and despite the fact that there were 7 visible baristas the place was so gross..there was trash and mess everywhere..and it was not busy..there was a huge spilt drink in the floor and they had put a warning sign on it..rather than clean it up..there was no milk in any container and the bar area was gross..i took some pics if anyone in charge wants to see!!!
So we are talking about starbucks that our review doesn't really make a difference. But this is my experience with this location. I just move to sunland. I am going to this starbucks every morning. It never happend that I get the correct order only at this location. I asked a coffe with creamer and 2 brown sugar. Everytime either there is no creamer added or they forget to give me sugar and I have to stop by in 711 get sugar or half and half to add it to my coffee. I talked to the manager to correct this problem since I am experiencing it everyday and she offered me a free coffee which I didn't accept. I don't need a free coffee I need to get a correct order to start my day. So if anyone reads this review please have them to pay attentions to what people ask. Not just give something to the customers that I have to stop by again in a store to get what my coffe needs. Thank you.
Unbelievable slow on drive thru
They don’t know how to make good coffee here. You can get better coffee at 7 eleven. I asked for extra heavy cream in my iced coffee and I got extra light. No classic how I asked. Didn’t even want to waste my times asking them to remake it cuz i would of had to wait another 10 min.

I’ve been coming here for a year because of my electrical work. I usually get a water with a splash of lemonade always coat my around .60 cents. Today he want to charge me almost $6 that’s crazy he didn’t ask for help he said that’s how he was taught. I refused to pay $6 for a water with a splash of lemonade. I told him I’ll take a water then then he refused to give me water he said he can’t because I need to purchase something. I refused and left. Never coming back to this Starbucks.

Was just in the drive thru for a hot tea. When u drove up to the window a young lady told me the machine in her hand had a question for me. I replied just tell me it's gonna ask for a tip. She smirked at me. So then I replied I would have tipped you if you would have said that instead of hiding behind "It's gonna ask you a question!" Why should tipping be asked in a drive thru!!?? I truly believe this is the worst Starbucks I've ever been in my entire life. They care more about their drive-thru people than people that come into the place. And they prefer that you get your order to go, they don't want you hanging out in their store. The only Starbucks I've ever been in where there's a security guard.
The Tujunga location is serving food items in the strawberry refresher that WILL make you sick. See pic below avoid unless you want to be very ill. Staff at location makes excuses and argues with the customer about the quality and keeps serving the same bad items to more people. Good luck with having your immune system compromised during the Covid.
I’ve been coming here for a year because of my electrical work. I usually get a water with a splash of lemonade always coat my around .60 cents. Today he want to charge me almost $6 that’s crazy he didn’t ask for help he said that’s how he was taught. I refused to pay $6 for a water with a splash of lemonade. I told him I’ll take a water then then he refused to give me water he said he can’t because I need to purchase something. I refused and left. Never coming back to this Starbucks.
Was just in the drive thru for a hot tea. When u drove up to the window a young lady told me the machine in her hand had a question for me. I replied just tell me it's gonna ask for a tip. She smirked at me. So then I replied I would have tipped you if you would have said that instead of hiding behind "It's gonna ask you a question!" Why should tipping be asked in a drive thru!!?? Anyways she precedes to hand me my hot tea (while still smirking) with no cooling jacket. Horrible!!!! Just terrible service!!!!
Starbucks is just horrible now . The service method is top notch the product is the worst ... Except for Madeline's and there reserve roast . The CEO is a joke look him up. Over paid kindergartner to the coffee game knows nothing about coffee . It's honestly offensive. It be like me teaching a karate class.
Horrible service. Was degraded and treated like nuisance by Angel (emotionally incompetent barista) for simply asking for water.
