Super Burrito

Love this place. The super burrito never lets me down. Starting to feel a bit pricier these days but so is everywhere else

best food in the area, especially for homestead highschoolers

I had the super burrito with carne asada and chicharron. The girl taking my order was really chill and the service was great, The burrito was the best I've had since I arrived in San Jose. Will gladly return during my stay here.

The food is awesome, I came in with a large group of 9 people and the food came surprisingly quick. The food was delicious, the Chilaquile were amazing and so was the Taco salad. I'll definitely come here again next time I'm in San Jose.

One of my favorite spots when I return to my old stomping grounds. I strongly recommend the chili rellenos. Leave a bit of time, because everything is made fresh. The one suggestion I would make is that they should offer chips even for takeout, since one needs to wait while the food is being prepared.

I had a chicken and shrimp burrito with some orange sauce as my dip. It was hands down one of the best burritos I ever had in san jose. Not only that the burrito was huge and stuffed. all at a great reasonable price. 1st time eating here but I will be back

Super burrito is actually super underrated! Affordable, the price is at least on par with other places. The burrito was great, with a good mix of ingredients so eat bite felt hearty. I hate it when you bite into a burrito and it's all rice or even all meat because the fillings are spread poorly, not so here! Also the restroom here is clean and well kept, which I feel is often ignored as a part of a restaurant but is very important as a space for people to sit down and dine in.

Not only Super Burrito Taqueria is delicious, it’s also close to my house. This mom and pop Mexican taqueria is made to order and has fresh ingredients. I tend to usually get a la carte chile relleno, Chicken enchiladas and a taco to split with my significant other. Why? The sauce is so so good. This time I got the chorizo gordita, shared the chicken taquitos with My parents. The gorditita has a crispy layer on the outside. With the savory chorizo and creamy frijoles it’s perfect with the fresh greens, tomatoes and quest fresco. Taquitos were freshly fried and served with guacamole, sour cream, greens, tomatoes and Monterey Jack cheese. My father loves their menudo because it’s clean and you get to add your own level of salt. They come with tortillas (flour or corn), diced cilantro, onions, dried oregano and lime wedges on the side. Last my mom chorizo with eggs, rice, beans and choice of tortillas. I love their orange, chipotle and green tomato salsa. I definitely would recommend this place!

This is an edit to my original review below. I've upgraded it to 5 star for this reason - I go there at least every other week, if not every week. It must be good, right? Never disappoints. I have always got the chorizo breakfast burrito and I'm always satisfied. After a mishap with hot sauce in the car, I now ask for the sauce IN the burrito. Smart move. I recently changed up and got a tostada. Excellent. ------------ This is a solid 4, bordering a 5 star place. Considering that I’ve only worked in the area 10 days, and have been there 3 times is a great sign. Definitely the best chorizo breakfast burrito I’ve had since moving to the Bay Area. I look to forward to many more burrito’s there.

I have tried their Giant Super Veggie Burrito. It was great, better than a lot of other veggie burritos I have tried in Sunnyvale. The price point is also good for the portion size. My friend ordered Chicken Super Burrito and he mentioned it was nice as well. Love the spicy red sauce.

Garcias taqueria use to be my go to, but when I moved to this area I found this place. AMAZING! I love that they have the salsa bar and you can take any salsa you like. I love their super burritos! Price is very reasonable, quality is great!

I hit this joint for the breakfast burrito and am always pleased. The salsa bar isn't always in full effect first thing in the morning but I can always ask for some extra heat on the side and they will provide. Worth the visit.

Great spot! Colleague brought me here to get a good breakfast burrito and he was spot on. Perfect burrito without feeling bloated. The taste was perfect!! You've gotta try this spot.

Service is good. The taco and quesadilla I ordered were affordable and tasty. I will consider visiting again to try their burritos.

Food isn't greasy and the salsas are good. Its better than most similar burrito spots. My only complaint is the music in the back can be loud enough to compete with the TV playing in the front.

3.8 Breakfast Chorizo (tastes home made - basic) 4.0 Super Asada Burrito (really flavorful hot, drop down in flavor if eaten cold unlike other burritos; overall its alright it matches the taste of Mexiqueña, but less greasy ) Edit: tried it again, the super asada burrito was a 4.25-4.5 wow, love that they have 5 different salsas (green avocado salsa, green tomatillo, red chipotle, red taqueria salsa, and orange-salsa-mayo sauce. Edit: Hit or Miss. Chicken was not worth it. Do not get the Nacho Fries, they are so dry. I prefer Cato’s or Cheztacos

Good Tamales... got chicken and a pork... I thought the pork had better flavor. The tamales came with a very good red "mole" sauce and Shredded Jack on top. Yum. This place has some good red and green salsas too, but chips are super thin and no flavor. I will go back for the tamales and maybe try something new as this was my 2nd time there. As for service, the female cashier was not too friendly. The little lady who was cooking in the back, brought the food to our table and she was super sweet. 🙂

The food is decent, maybe a bit bland. This place almost always gets my order wrong. I only come back because my kids like their beans rice and cheese burrito, but it is often not what was ordered. I won't come here for myself anymore, just for my kids. They do have great salsa's for sure! Their portions are big! They charge for chips with to go orders Update 11/23/2022 I had come back a few times recently and have enjoyed the food. Very good Breakfast Burritos!!! Today, I was almost done with my Burrito and I bit into a small piece of steel wool. I was afraid to continue eating. I guess it shows that they clean their pans and such but damn!

If they had done that.. this good burrito would've been amazing and I would've been a repeat customer. Instead, I'll come back in a few months and see if they made any improvements. If not, then there are other places much better.

+ve: - Moderately priced. - Located in strip mall and so parking is relatively easy. - Has multiple vegetarian options -ve:- - Average taste. - Lots of menu options and so hard to know whats in each since the display does not mention. Even after asking on differences b/w 3 types of veggie burrito, the one I got had wheat tortilla, which I don't like. Wish it were mentioned somewhere. - Can't really see the burrito being made. In this age of Chipotles, its almost a requirement that customers see how its made and what goes inside.

Disappointed in their super tacos. They served me two small tacos with lettuce cheese guacamole on the side for $14. Way overpriced and didn’t taste good.

I understand u charge extra for meat right now , but don’t charge me as special and give me a regular burrito ($1 extra) and on top $1 extra for the meat.... and if that’s the way, at least get good meat not this garbage.

Yuck I ordered 2 super asada burritos. They charged $3.00 more for steak. Plus the burritos were cold and not tasty at all. I couldn't even finish half neither did my employee. Besides being expensive it's not even good. Not going back.

I called an order in with extra meat. They said it'd be about 15 minutes, made it seem like they were pretty busy. I go there 12 minutes later and it's completely dead. No food being worked on, did not look like they had actually made any orders. The cashier had to go to the back to get the lady to start my order. I get home and I find out there is 100% NOT extra meat in my burrito, so I also paid about 5 more dollars for nothing. The food was ok, but I would not recommend asking for extra meat. You'll probably just get robbed like me.

(it doesn't even come with rice) It’s clear the proper ingredients weren’t available, but instead of informing me, someone decided to serve a completely different and frankly unacceptable substitute. That kind of decision shows a lack of respect for your customers. This was genuinely shameful service, especially considering I tipped well on the order. I expect far better from a place I’ve supported repeatedly.
