Avaliações de Meier's Creek Brewing Syracuse
Beautiful brewery with informal restaurant. Great beer selection of course. Live music. Nice vibe. Good service.
We have been to this location at least three times since it has opened. Obviously they have a good selection of beer, and unlike some other craft breweries, they do have some selections with lower alcohol. We have ordered pizza to go twice, and on our last visit we got an order of wings with the Buffalo sauce. Overall the food is good, and consistent. The service is professional, maybe spread a little thin at some times. With the current lack of labor, I have no complaints and will definitely come back here.
My bartender/server was very professional. Treated all her customers with the most care you rarely see. One of her customers was walking parallel to the bar and she stoped everything she was doing and asked if they were looking for her… they were just heading towards the restrooms. The beer there is incredible. Highly recommend this place if you ever come to Syracuse, NY!
Came in Halloween night to grab a drink after the mall, and had a fantastic time here! The bartender Eva was courteous, attentive, and most of all, hilarious while remaining professional! She had us laughing for our entire visit, and made the best drinks I have had in Syracuse. She helped answer our questions about the food and drinks, and made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable! I’ll be back again and hope that she is here the next time as well!
Stopped in at Meier’s Creek Brewery with my wife and our baby, and we were not disappointed. The draft beer was smooth and dangerously good—like it knew exactly how to take the edge off parenthood. I ordered a pizza, and not only was it delicious, but it came topped with whole cloves of garlic—a bold move, and honestly, a brilliant one. Not only did it elevate the flavor, but I’m now 99.7% sure we’re safe from vampires until at least the next full moon. Thanks for looking out. My wife had the turkey club and she loved it—crisp bacon, perfect bread, and just the right balance of everything. Even the baby was chill the whole time, possibly because the vibe was so relaxed or because the garlic warded off any restless spirits. All in all, great food, great drinks, and zero supernatural interference. We'll definitely be back.
This was our first time ever coming to Syracuse and obviously our first time coming to this brewery. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. We had a couple of their house beers and food from the kitchen. The beers were very good and the food was awesome. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend this Brewery to anyone traveling in the area. Also directly behind the brewery is access to the Empire State trail, or we walked a mile or so in each Direction and saw a bald eagle.
Meier’s Creek Brewing was an excellent place to visit. Pictured is the velvet fog hazy IPA w/orange peel and Dancing calypso a soursop (guanabana) and pineapple sour. Both were delicious. Also had lucid fog which was equally amazing. Tried some pickle spiced wings that were also quite tasty. If you're going through Syracuse then definitely stop by.
My afternoon office, sitting quietly in a corner here with my work laptop and maybe but maybe not drinking a beer while pounding away at the keyboard. It's a very comfy spot and they have plenty of seating inside. A few televisions tuned in to sports, a big list of beers (pilsner, IPA, Hazy, Cider, Porter, Dark Lager, Oatmeal Stout and more) to keep folks interested. No one minded that I sat here for about four hours as it never did get too busy on a Wednesday afternoon.
I had a pleasant visit this past sunny Sunday with a friend. She suggested this location while discussing where to stop after a prior excursion. I declined multiple times due to prior experiences. But due to being a Sunday afternoon there were limited choices. I was pleasantly surprised that this visit was much more pleasing. We sat at the bar, service was attentive and friendly. My friend orders my beers, though I enjoy the ambiance of breweries I have a limited palette for beer and am not an avid connoisseur. The Get onto a Cloud was citrusy and light. We ordered the pulled pork nachos which were nothing more than a nacho lovers delight! Fresh ingredients and cheese sauce the pictures speak for themselves! This visit was a complete turn around. The patio was also filled with the beautiful afternoon, so welcoming! Update on review. Another fun meet up with a friend for a couple of brews and little bite to soak up the suds. I had a hazy citrus blend and my friend a Pilsner. Ambiance fun and friendly as usual. We decided on just the pub fries, but these are no average fries! They are seasoned well, served hot with a relish dipping sauce. Other patrons ordered them next to us and you can smell the aroma of the seasonings as they are served! Service was efficient but there were extra charges on our bill but was quickly rectified. Loved the rainbows painted on the entrances for Pride Parade 🏳️🌈!
GREAT ADDITION to the Syracuse brewery scene! We are big fans of the Cazenovia location, and were excited to see Meier's open a local pub. The atmosphere was comfortable and our party had a great time hanging out and sampling beers. The food was perfect as a compliment to the beer. We were there for drinks and conversation and had a FANTASTIC time. We will be back for sure.
The beers were excellent, average of 4/5 with the sours and Whiteout Conditions being stand out worthwhile/worth coming back for. Food was fine. Be careful of allergies. The menu feels not curated by a chef, but the people in the kitchen can cook. Good cheese used for artichoke dip.
Food was good. Staff was attentive, enough. Nothing stood out and nothing was horrible. It's an order at the bar and figure it out kinda place. They have good beers on tap and the food is decent. The service is sub par since you're just ordering at the bar. We sat at the bar and were dismissed a few times asking for water. It just felt a little cold. Overall the experience was decent, but since we're just visiting the area, we probably won't be back.
Nice place, BIG. I was surprised at all of the space. People are changing though. You used to be able to go out to eat or watch a game and find things in common with strangers. You could talk like you knew them even if you knew that you might never see them again. These days, people all seem to be hiding in their own heads. Like somebody with a cold, they are sort of out of it. Not paying any attention to anything but the voices in their heads. It's getting weird. Half of the time I'm not sure if the whole pot smoking thing is what's making everybody all obnoxiously self interested or if it's all of the crazy nonsense that these donkey states are forcing us to accept as "moral" and "normal" are just breaking people's brains. Great pizza crust here, lol.
My family and I frequently visit distilleries, wineries, and breweries throughout the Finger Lakes region, so we always look forward to trying new locations. Today we made our way to Syracuse and stopped at Meier’s Creek Brewing Co. at the Inner Harbor. My husband and I arrived first and ordered drinks while waiting for the rest of our party. There were two bartenders on duty. The female bartender took our order and did a nice job preparing my Old Fashioned, while my husband ordered a beer on tap. After about 20 minutes of sitting at the bar and saving seats for our party, the male bartender informed us that we needed to move because we were seated in the “walk-up” area. However, the designated walk-up section was clearly marked at the end of the bar with multiple signs — not in the middle where we were sitting. There were bar stools in the area we chose, so it was reasonable to assume it was appropriate seating for patrons. The interaction felt abrupt and unnecessarily rude. To add to the confusion, this same bartender directed other customers standing in the clearly marked walk-up area to move toward the middle of the bar, seemingly so he wouldn’t have to walk back and forth to the POS system. The inconsistency made the situation even more frustrating. If the intent is for the walk-up service area to be in the middle of the bar, clearer signage and removal of the stools in that section would help prevent misunderstandings. Unfortunately, due to the poor attitude and overall experience, we chose not to stay for the food and additional drinks we had originally planned to order once the rest of our party arrived. Instead, we visited another local brewery where our party of four had an excellent experience and spent over $200 — largely because the customer service was welcoming and attentive. We value good hospitality just as much as good beer, and sadly this visit fell short. We won’t be returning.
