We frequent this taco shop and are never disappointed. The are always friendly and the food is amazing. The chimichanga combo is my go-to, but the chicken enchiladas and breakfast burritos are killer too and my kids love the tortas and super Cali burrito.

We have been coming here for 7 years. The food/pricing and staff are great compared to some of the other places we have been to. We have never had any problems here but have been there when kids with skateboards were in there with their feet kicked up on the tables. Who does that in an eatery??? Not any kids with respect. This will still remain as our go to spot!!!!

The steak was seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection. The quesadilla was beyond delicious! If you're going to try it, grab a fork, you'll need it! Washed it down with a tasty Dr. Pepper, this is one satisfied customer!

We have honestly ordered from here at least once a week for the past month, it's delicious! We always try something new when we go. The quesadillas, carne asada fries (with and without hot cheetos), and taquito plate are all amazing! My toddler also LOVES the beans and rice from here so we are always able to eat as a family. We've only ever ordered to go but the inside is always clean and pretty quite. The only thing I tried that I wasn't a big fan of was the torta de chicken milanesa but my husband liked it so it was more a personal taste.

Great Mexican food and short time to wait for your food.

The Cali Supreme burrito delicious the shredded chicken and Shredded beef burritos had way too much other stuff in it other than chicken or beef way to much juice from the peppers and onions. The chicken quesadilla was also really good.

1st time here and I will be back. The service wasn't friendly. No hello just, are you ready. I was the only one here. But, my order was quick and efficient.

The food was good as always but it took 38 minutes to get my food. The service was super slow this time for some reason and it didn't appear that they were making an effort to expedite the process. Hopefully next time will be better.

Okay so here's the scooby. Jilbertos makes fairly good food, in fairly large portions, but they are super overpriced. For example a large drink at Jilbertos is $2.99, and is smaller than a McDonald's large. I can get a large at McDonald's for $1, and they have more drink, and better options. Their customer service is okay, but I've seen better. A burrito is $6.50 on average, so if you're willing to fork out the cold hard moola you're gonna get a pretty decent Mexican food experience. But I would say just go to Del Taco.

Jilbertos Taco Shop leaves more to be desired. I have been to similarly named Mexican fast food (Los Jilbertos) and this place falls short. The California burrito is usually my go to but Jilbertos Cali burrito was small and lacked much flavor. The "guac" inside the burrito is too green for comfort which leads me to believe they mix it with filler to make it go farther. This was my second time giving this shop a chance and both times have left me regretting going in the first place. My girlfriend got the Cali burrito as well and she agrees with me, pass... Try it yourself to make a sound judgment but this is not the mexican shop for me. I'll pass next time.

Shredded beef was greasy and again, poor flavor. Generic canned refried beans. If looking for Mexican in the area, find someplace else.

We got a Carne Asada Burrito and other things for our family, the rolled tacos were ok. However, the Burritos were awful! It tasted like someone dumped a bucket of salt and bitter limes on the meat. Now I like both salt and lime but this was almost inedible. I called to let them know that the food we just bought was not good, but the lady that answered the phone said. "Ok" and was going to just hang up! I said "wait don't you even want to know what was wrong"? She obviously didn't, but, I told her anyway, then she said O.K., and hung up! Needless to say they don't care what people think or if they have our business. They are by a High School and probably won't go out of business no matter how rude and unconcerned they are about quality, BUT, they have lost our business for good.

This place was really good in the past, but lately it's hit or miss. Todat I got nachos and the chips were stale and half of the chicken was burnt. The last time I went in they were great. The last burrito I got here was not so good, dry meat and overcooked tortilla. Any given day they could delicer a 5 star product...but I think today was their last shot for me!

The enchiladas had more onions and peppers than meat, you would have thought they were fajitas covered in sauce. The ambient temp in the restaurant was close to the temp of the grill. Uncomfortable and not good for a dine-in experience at all. That was $35 down the drain. Lesson learned. There are other great mex food spot all over Temecula valley… So, not going to sweet it. Once I hear they have upped their game, I may be back.

The server was nice but unfortunately, everything else wasn't. I'm not paying 10 bucks for a server to be nice. I just want to eat.

The quesadilla was very oily and the meat had good texture but had no flavor besides a load of salt. The tacos were the same, no flavor. The only flavor I was getting from the tacos was coming from the tortilla itself. The beans were clearly can beans and no flavor either.The rice was decent. Even the horchata was very bland. Again the staff was very nice, nothing against them but the owner or cook should work on adding flavor to the food.

Cashiers are chippy and condescending. Would be great if they where open a bit later. This place is not getting better, doesn’t matter what language you order in, the kid behind the register will still get your order wrong. And don’t bother calling back, won’t fix anything.

Don’t order the carnitas, found 2 thin bone shard pieces in my mouth eating a burrito. Both were the size of a pinky fingernail. Luckily, I didn’t bite down hard by chipping a tooth or cut the inside of my mouth. First time to try them out and will be the last time!

Enthusiastic for a good breakfast this am! Order to go! I returned the Choizo con Juevos' bfast that I doubted the meat? "This is what we use". Guys are nice enough...just trashed it there. I was more sorry...still hungry!

They stop serving rice at this taco shop, or they’re to lazy to make it at night. If you feel like Mexican rice, I recommend you go to another taco shop. Wasted a gallon of gas driving there.

So I always go to this spot out of convenience. Tonight I went and I ordered 3 items. Costed 24 something and I tipped. The beans inside the bean and cheese burrito were clearly bad. My daughter did they're was something different then I went to taste it before I could even rate it I could smell the awful smell. I called in and the girl who took my order was so rude. She told me there was nothing they could do about it now. I asked if I could go on tomorrow... get response was I guess you could just explain to them. I wondered if they actually smelt and tasted the beans. Definitely won't go back anymore. That's too much $$ for such poor service.

Was my go to place for a few years, now may not go back. Showed up 15 min before closing and the gal there gives me a look of "why are you even here" and snarled we are not taking any orders. Left there, went to Albertos was greeted with a smile ordered and was back in my car before 8pm and that burrito was awesome Albertos gained a customer tonight!

Respectfully, this is hands down the worst Mexican food I have had in my life. Asada Fries were bland. Asada burrito had no rice or beans. Quesadilla was DRENCHED in oil I could fry an egg on it. The agua de jamaica was watered down, no flavor. For $43? Just save your money people. No vale la pena
