Great place to celebrate a birthday. Excellent food with a variety of options to choose from. Our server, Charles, provided wonderful service and good recommendations regarding what new things to try. Don't forget to try some of their famous pies!

We did not have to wait to be seated. The order for breakfast was made and it took 10 minutes to be served. During this short time we were served corn bread hot from oven. Everything turned out very well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for breakfast or Lunch. Quick service and good food is really appreciated. Please tell me if you liked my review.

The food is pretty good but I come for the pie. The key lime is my favorite and I'm not even a big pie eater. Nice flaky crust and a sweet but tart filling 😋 delicious! Definitely not the place to go if you are worried about your waistline.

It was great. I was out in Riverside with a friend, it was a cold rainy day and we were both hungry. I ordered a coffee, and the hot open faced turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. It was PERFECT! Hot, delicious and great for a rainy day.

I hadn't been to Marie Callender's in over 5 years because they have closed the restaurants in my vicinity. I was pleasantly surprised to find the same favorite menu items available. I had my absolute favorite today, the chicken pot pie with a side salad. For dessert, I selected a slice of banana cream pie. Every dish was as delicious as I remembered it. Although it was very busy at lunch time, service was expedient and every staff member, extremely courteous. It definitely won't be another 5 years before I dine at Marie Callender's again.

We had a very good waiter, his name was Mike. What a hard worker!! It was busy, and he still managed to be very attentive to us. We were there celebrating my sister's birthday. I had the mini pot pie combo. I was a bit hesitant to get it since a couple of times it was very dry inside and out. I was very pleased that I got ordered it! The crust was flaky, the filling was fresh and hot, veggies were not soggy, chicken was all white meat and no fat and no gristle. I ate every bit! It was so yummy!! This will be my first choice next time we go in. Now service was very good, and our Server made sure our glasses were full. She was quick, and professional. We’ll done Marie Callender’s!!!

Tried the meatloaf sandwich & it was delicious and filling. So much so that I had to box up half the sandwich to go. The fresh fruit side offered a sweet and tasty finish. Our waitress was a sweety. She made sure we had everything we needed even before we could think to ask. Will definitely be back only next time I think I'll have dessert first!

This is a very comfy an welcoming location, the parking is kinda tight, however there is plenty of parking next door. The staff was awesome we were celebrating our Anniversary, the drinks came quick and the bread was awesome while we waited after we ordered. The food is great everytime I have ordered here, I love the two for meal, for me I can order one to eat there and save the other for the next day, (works great). I just wish the salad bar was available, hopefully soon! Our experience this time was so good I asked to speak to the manager and told how pleased we were with the food and kind/courteous service. I just hope they don't close like the one in Ontario, CA did.

Went to Marie Calendar on Merrill Street with a group of 10 women. Service was wonderful and the food delicious. The young man who waited on us was excellent and so professional. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant was great, we went there not knowing really what to expect and I was very happy with the service, our waitress Samantha was very nice and very friendly and very efficient, the food was FANTASTIC, we had many different items and was totally pleased, he followed all Covid protocols, it was a very nice experience. Haven't been to a Marie Callendars, phewww in years! The wait to be seated on mother's day was about 20 mins. I was expecting it to be an hour or more to be honest. Also our food took about 25 or 30 mins which I didn't mind because it was so fresh and delicious. The servers and staff were all so amazing and friendly. I would definitely go back and I definitely recommend !!

We love this restaurant! We eat breakfast or lunch there 2-3 times a week. This service is very good. Management keeps everything clean and orderly. The food is good comfort food. My favorite omlette, the BTA!

The overall experience was great! The servers were attentive and cordial. The food was tasty. The meñu is not extensive but the comfort food they serve is by far great for the value. Normally I would spend closer to $100 on dinner for two. I spent about half here and still had room for pie!!! Will be coming back, keep up the great work!

We had Sunday brunch here and it was great! The parking lot looked packed but if you drive a little father you can find plenty of parking in the big lot. The waiting area was small and pretty crowded. I asked to make a reservation for 4 adults and 1 child in a high chair. The employee asked me if I prefered to wait extra for a booth, which was nice. I always forget to ask about that! The wait was only 10 minutes and the booth would have been an extra 5 minutes so I said I would wait for a booth. We were seated within 10 minutes! Our waiter was very friendly and took our drink orders right away. He also brought out some freshly baked banana and blueberry bread, which was delicious! We put our orders in right away and it's good we did because the food took awhile to be ready. Fortunately the banana bread kept us busy and the employees were ok with us walking around with the baby (she needs to be carried around constantly). The food, however, was worth the wait! My mom and I told the waiter we wanted to shair the BYO omelette so he had the kitchen cut it in half for us and serve it on 2 plates with has browns! The meal also came with 2 buttermilk pancakes! All the food we ordered was delicious. The omelette was flavorful and not overly greasy and the pancakes were sweet even without a ton of syrup! We will be happy to visit this location again!

I showed up on a late Tuesday morning and it was mildly busy, not bad at all. We got seated and served our food quickly. The food was delicious; I got a shrimp and chicken carbonara and the other person got a classic chicken pot pie. Everyone was nice and friendly and it was a great atmosphere to sit and eat comfortably.

We went here to celebrate my Grandson's Birthday. They immediately brought out one of their yummy blueberry loaves. We were in between breakfast and lunch and asked for both menus. My Son and Grandson got the Works Frisco burger. It was massive and they both loved it. I ordered the lunch special and got half a turkey croissant and a small cob salad. It had very little turkey on it and it was only on one half. Our Waitress apologized and quickly took it back and brought me a new one. It was good. I brought the salad home. They brought him a piece of pie for his birthday which he enjoyed.

Management is visible and active in making sure every customer is comfortable. Bathrooms and booths are clean, food is great, especially the classics, and service is fast. Had dinner at Marie Callender's on Mother's Day. My daughter and I both ordered the meal that has quiche, soup and salad. I'm sure they make a large quiche, refrigerate and reheat each piece. I liked the taste but wished it was warm instead of tepid. The potato cheese soup and cornbread were very good. My son-in-law liked his open-faced turkey sandwich very much.

My sister invited me here for my birthday. I was craving a patty melt, but since it wasn't on the menu, I opted for the meatloaf sandwich out of nostalgia. It was well made and such a generous sandwich that I packed up half to take home. The highlight, though, was the fresh strawberry pie requested with lots of whipped cream... delicious! However, my sister did not fair so well. She ordered a Marie Callender staple, a chicken pot pie. Unfortunately, they've changed their recipe as the crust didn't resemble past visits nor the pictures in the menu. It actually looked very pale, like the crust of my pie... so disappointing to see a dependable favorite go south.

The corn bread was delicious. We did the 2 for $40 deal. One appetizer 2 main courses and we each got a piece of pie for dessert. My Carbonara was good except the sauce was more like a soup. The pies are yummy. I had blueberry with a vanilla cream on top and then whipped cream. I will definitely go back.

Always good.you can expect to find it the same at all locations. So going in I always know what I want. This one is nice staff is okay wait staff are phenomenal. They cover everything you want and are fast. I had to ask my waiter is he was on skates that fast. Cooks are always on top of everything.

They offer a 2 person meal deal for $49. It comes with an appetizer, two entrees and two pieces of pie. We had the stroganoff and it was delicious!! For our appetizer, we did the crispy green beans. Tasty as always. But this time it looks like they sprinkled on some sort of spice, that was in my opinion, unnecessary. It didn't really add anything to the flavor. All the food was hot and quickly served. Dessert was New York cheesecake cake and custard pie. All of it was delicious!!

Greeted with fresh corn bread, this place offers a wide range of comfort food that everyone should try. The service was key to my dining experience. The prices were very competitive and well proportioned for your buck. My choice was great but I probably won’t try it again.

I went in for a pie for the first time ordered online, I got the strawberry but it had a ton of strawberries and 0 crust, also no utensils quickly thrown in there or napkins? I was even asked what was I there to pick up like you should already know and shouldn’t ask, also was asked if I wanted to add whipped cream? But that’s what it already has on the photo. Hey, listen. I had a terrible experience at Marie Callender's. I go there every year to get my favorite birthday pie, which is banana cream. But this year, they messed up and gave me a lemon meringue pie instead. When I went back to get the right pie, all they said was "sorry" and offered me another pie. I don't need two pies! I'm trying to save time and gas money, and all I wanted was what I ordered. On top of that, the place was a mess, the bathrooms were gross, and the manager seemed totally overwhelmed with a bunch of young staff who didn't know what they were doing. It was a total disaster.

I love coming here for whole pies 🥧. I love Marie Callender’s pies .But to be honest yesterday I went to buy two whole pies 🥧 from the Marie Callenders front desk girl . Well she over charge me and didn’t give me my right change back.I left not thinking anything of it but then I drove back because she didn’t even give me a receipt and as I went back my pie hit the floor. I gave her a bill of 100 dollars and for two pieces bananas cream pies she gave me back 37 dollars. I talk to the manager and she gave me back 61 dollars in change. Just a horrible experience. I have a feeling this woman who is at the front desk she like pulling things a lot.

I hope this one doesn't close. Was there Monday. Our table was 1 of 3 tables at the most. No body was dining. Lack of service becomes very obvious when there are no other customers. It's really weird when workers do not acknowledge you even though the make eye contact. Workers will see you and not smile or say "someone will be with you". It's as if they want this place to close. It's strange. I am such a polite and pleasant person and it's just becoming harder to maintain it when a business offers none of it. Once seated my water glass kept getting empty even though the server and many others would walk by and observe the empty glasses. It's just so simple to top off glasses. These servers expect a tip more than ever and do the least amount of work. It's just frustrating. Management at All places need a lesson. It's Management

Staff was polite, building is outdated & the food tasted like it was all out of the freezer. Their pie crust was tasty but the overly sweetened and artificially flavored fillings were not edible. I would recommend eating at other local more freshly made food locations.

Food was good but service was very uncomfortable. Our waitress could completely care less that we were there. My husband and I were the only black couple in her section amongst three more couples. However, she completely catered to the other couples and would just stare at us from afar. Just to get a box Togo was like pulling teeth. If you are someone of color and want a comfortable and enjoyable experience this is not the place to be. Such a shame.

Yesterday I purchased two adult Thanksgiving meals. One of the meals was a turkey one of them was a ham. When I got home and opened the boxes I saw immediately how small the portions were. The yams or maybe a tablespoon each and the coloring was grayish black on some of the pieces. The carrots and green beans were very hard. And the ham was a small one Little Slice. The turkey gave you two small pieces with maybe a tablespoon of stuffing underneath each piece. Also the stuffing was very salty. And just overall experience was very disappointing. Especially when you consider the price you pay for each single dinner. The best part of the whole meal was the pumpkin pie

I have been eating a Marie Callender's for over 50 years. The one in Redlands gave me food poisoning twice and sick once. They closed years ago and he place was nasty. The one in Ontario which was to be the flag ship was sold and went to hell in a hand basket and was filthy. I loved eating at both. The one in LA Is fantastic. We were in Riverside today. The place was clean enough but the food was a huge let town. My wife got the Salmon and it was dry. She only eats fish. I had the pot pie. The crust was perfect but the filling was week with not much in the way of veggies. Mostly cream filling. It had a funny taste. I love the frozen pot pies I get at Costco but this did not come close. The Potato Cheese soup was great. The veggie soup had way to much of some of the spices and was not good. The soup of the day was just OK. It is hard to kill a salad bar but don't eat the potato salad. It was not good. The mac salad was so, so. For $40 plus a tip it was way over priced. I am tossing in the towel. The manager was nice and so was the staff. This chain has died as far as I am concerned. Food poisoning twice on thanks giving take out. I did not know where the food came form the second year. Had I known I would not have touched it. I am a 70 year old male and a very good cook.

My husband and I went for breakfast yesterday morning and had really bad experience. Not only that the coffee cups are too thick making it a little hard to drink from,but the coffee was super cold. We were served a second time and still cold. Our food was also on the cold side. My hashbrowns salty as can be. I thought that maybe someone sent it back to warm up and was given to me,and my scramble eggs overrr cooked. When we're done a young lady offered us coffee and that one was hot ,not the best coffee, but it was hot. I was given a 10% discount, but it's not about the discount that matters to me, but what really matters is the quality of food and service which was not the best!!.

Ordered the holiday feast with a pickup time of 7:30AM which apparently means nothing because the line is around the corner with people whose appointments were for yesterday or are early. So I guess appointment times are totally arbitrary and you can count on waiting in line for an hour at least.

Was taken back to the lobby and the Continued to seat and not that bad table and ignore us ! The Gm didn’t ask how can I help you .. your table will be ready ! We walked out ! You lost $150 sale as we were going to pies ! Being black in America and riverside is still real !

My friend and I both had mini pot and salad and a few hours later both got sick with stomach pains . They need to do more quality control on the food. Food poisoning is serious

It’s two hours each way here by bus.. only to be told (by a cashier clearly unwilling to help a lone person waiting) they were Out of Apple. So, another two hours back to tell my veteran roomie he’s SOL, there. Really, it’s Apple… not a specialized taste. And of course, your only attention is to the more-profitable family parties. My $ is better spent elsewhere.

Chicken Salad had cold, raw chicken.

The food was not good. Both my son and I had to speak to the manager to show him our food and how terrible it was made. Ill never go there again.

The prices went up, can't find a parking space, then they have the nerve and won't give me cornbread because I didn't dine-in. Really? It's not worth going back for dine-in nor pick-up! Pictured is Mini potpie combo with salad and slice of pie for $12.99 which use to be $9.99.

Got bad service and bad food. I called to make a reservation only 40 minutes ahead and yet they still had the time to lose it. Everyone at the table got the soup of the day (chicken and wild rice), but we had to have them taken back because there was something wrong with it (it tasted like clam water). And then there was a problem with literally everything else we ordered. My beef stroganoff had fettuccine instead of egg noodles, and they were overcooked and soggy. My partner got the fried chicken dinner and got less than a single chicken breast. There was three times more unsalted boiled mushy vegetables than chicken. Our guest ordered a steak and chicken combo, but he got steak and shrimp instead. After they fixed it he had to deal with overcooked steak and extremely mediocre chicken tenders. Would not recommend.

Omelette disgusting. They serve breakfast all day, so I ordered an omelette in early evening. Served burned. Why serve breakfast lunch and dinner all day if you’re not going to do it right? I saw one of the servers handling the cornbread with her fingers not using a glove and not using tongs. This place is disgusting.

My boyfriend drove an hour and a half (after work mind you) to surprise me with a Kailua cream cheese pie (the only pie I like) because the young female employee told him that they had one available. Apparently, she only checked on the computer but she did not physically check the back. You should definitely train you employees better. The manager did offer him another option on the house BUT again, neither of us like pie. To make matters worse, the same female employee decided to tell him that, "Marie is going to roll in her grave for this, but go to cheesecake factory, they have way better cheesecakes." He then asked her if they had the same one that I like and she said yes. Another lie! The girl is not very intelligent nor professional! He then wasted another 45 minutes and wasted money on stuff I unfortunately like. You guys wasted his time, money, gas and ruined his surprise!
