Merry Hill Cafe

Absolutely love this place. Best cappuccino I’ve found in north county. They’ve got a delicious assortment of baked goods including a gluten free cookie that’s amazing. They’re all so friendly too!

Just moved to the area and wanted to be sure to check out a locally-owned coffee place and Merry Hill left me with a great first impression. Very friendly with great coffee and a nice little shop! I also ordered a breakfast burrito and while it was great overall, I wasn't expecting whole beans which is definitely just a personal preference. Will definitely be returning!

we showed up right after 4 and did not realize they closed at 4. we opened the door and i stead of shooing us away asked if we wanted hot or cold drinks. indeed it was a couple of bobba teas we were after and they welcomed us in. we did not want to trouble then so we thanked them and declined. but that was so nice of them.

Merry Hill is one of my FAVORITE coffee shops on the Central Coast!! Love their Chai Lattes!! The owner and employees in there are so sweet and inviting. Since I work out of my home office most of the time, I love sitting in their lounge area to get a “new view” to work. ;) I actually LOVE the fact that they don’t mandate masks ...this coffee shop provides such a peaceful atmosphere that I enjoy going back time and time again.

Pleasant, open, 8ndoor and outdoor seating. They specialized in alternative drinks for energy and waking up. That 8s a good feature. Fresh backed and gluten free options. Liked the Charcoal which was a coconut derivative

We love Merry Hill♡ they're always friendly and we always get an excellent cup of coffee/tea no matter what we order. They do well with the atmosphere as well for what they have available. Would definitely recommend!

This is my absolute favorite place to get coffee in SLO County. Excellent service and coffee with a great atmosphere as well. This is the perfect place for a work meeting or a coffee date! They also have lots of options if you're not a coffee fan.

Lovely staff. Drinks are tasty. Definitely not a high end/third wave coffee shop, but the drinks are decent. Their Wisconsin Latte is lovely. If you like sweet drinks, this is the place for you. They do have great non-coffee options as well!

I appreciate the attempt at boba, but it's definitely not chewy as it should be, and the tea milk drinks are interesting (don't hate it but it's not what I'm used to). They remind me of ice blendeds from CBTL but in almond and honeydew (kinda soapy in flavor but oddly good) They play good music here and it's definitely quirky being attached to a pickle sandwich place. Elouise made a reference to Stars Hallow walking in, so it's all good.

Please, please make sure your staff knows how to make a cappuccino. Otherwise, just dont put it on the menu. I have been a long-time customer which is well before ownership changed and you got drive by competition that shouldnt have been aproved so close to you. Love what you do, but I've basically gotten a small latte the last two times I ordered a cappuccino. Your staff is not properly frothing the milk. It's not thicker than a regular latte in the slightest. Foam was non existent minutes later. The saw air bubbles and gave up on the drink... I hope you can work with this feedback.

This place is super cute inside and I love how it’s located next to Trader Joe’s. The latte’s are hit or miss depending on who is making them. I would have given them a 3 but nobody there wears a mask and it made me super uncomfortable.

Coffee was fine not great but fine. My biggest issue was the frozen then microwaved breakfast burritos that still somehow cost around $5. The bacon burritos were microwaved to hell heat but the pieces of potatoes were still raw, the eggs were gross and I noticed 2 small pieces of bacon. Very disappointing and will not go back.
