Service was impeccable, from being seated by the restaurant front of house to our waitress, Jessica. We dined in shortly after they opened, on a weekday, so we didn't experience the dinner crowd and we wrapped up just when the lunch traffic started to flow in. The food is best described as modern Thai fusion, or modern interpretation of Thai food. For example, I had the Bangkok Burger Sliders while wife had the Brisket Cheesesteak Flatbread. Both dishes are great and full of Thai flavors. If you're not feeling adventurous, classic Thai wide rice noodle dishes, such as Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and Pad See Ew are also available. Alcoholic drinks are served here, including fun tropical cocktails and beer. Traditional Thai beverages, such as Thai iced tea and Thai coffee are also served here.

My friends and I tried this restaurant for the first time last evening. First thing caught our attention was the tropical feel created through decor, furniture, and hanging flowers. John did an excellent job serving us, he was very personable and made great recommendations. His wife also made us pretty good cocktails. The service overall was excellent. Number of other people came to our table filled out waters, brought or took away dishes, and asked about our experience. Our favorite dishes were the branzino and ceviche salad. We enjoyed the texture and flavor of the branzino combined with sidings and ceviche with salmon made it very special. The chicken in the chicken roll on the other hand, lacked oomph while the sauces were very good. My friends and I debated whether it was fried or boiled, tasted as if it had some turmeric and at least partially boiled but pretty bland. Overall, I do definitely recommend you try this restaurant. I was told they also offer brunch! Kudos to the chef!

This has to be my new found favorite Thai restaurant in DFW!! My friend recommended it, so we went for her birthday! The food, flavors, drinks, ambiance were all 10/10!!! We had the Tande Wraps to start and PLEASE GET THESE…. You will not regret it… we also had the Pad Kee Mao, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ew… All of which were absolutely phenomenal!!! Ordered for delivery two days later (still as delicious as I remembered) because I couldn’t get over how delicious the food was!!! Will be back time and time again!

This is my new favorite lunch spot at Grandscape! I’ve tried Thai food before but never know what I like because I’ve also been intimidated by it. This place makes it so fun to try new foods because literally everything is so good. I love the pad thai with chicken and the chicken curry. The brussel sprouts appetizer is soooo good…get it! If you can stand the spice, get the basil fried rice…the kick is strong but it’s delicious! I love the ambiance of this place down in The Grotto…definitely worth exploring.

Chose this place because the atmosphere and food looked great! We've never had elevated Thai food and since we've been getting into it this year, it only made sense to make the jump too. Man the pork belly rolls were delicious! The sauce really made it. The Pad See Ew was solid and the Panang Short Rib was the star for sure, I loved it! Will definitely be back to try brunch

The service was 5-star. Tyler was personal and extremely on top of everything! The owner Michael and manager Jordan both stopped by the table and were great conversation! We started with the tofu. OMG. Trust me & just order it! Then the Pork Spring rolls & the spicy peanut sauce had more flavor then I can even type out. Finally ending with the beef Thai noodles- how they got the beef that juicy and tender with just the right amount of heat is a true talent. Cheers to the chef! If you want to wow anyone from colleague to date night- take them here. The ambience is a true oasis with a resort vibe. It was hard to come back to reality that I wasn’t on an island. 10/10 would recommend!!

Oh my🤭Best Pad Thai dish I ever have had, hey you’all, not exaggerating, no. It was perfectly made, delicious 💯and I gobbled it all by myself 👊This restaurant is very pretty, offers a very nice atmosphere and cuteness overload patio. Seating inside was absolutely comfortable, careful because you may fall asleep in it🤭The hostesses welcomed me, very attentive staff. I will be back. Check out my son, he was like “I aint moving from this comfty chair mom”’🤭

Tande Thai has the best chef, hostess and manager. The manager provided exceptional customer service by accommodating my requests for a party of six. I want to thank him for a job well done. We truly enjoyed this restaurant experience. Great food, venue, location, and service…..Winning! 10/10

Not often I rate a place 5 stars across the board but Tande Thai really took me by surprise. I loved the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food exceeded my expectations, I expected good food of course, being a restaurant located in Grandscape but they blew my expectations away. The Thai Basil fried rice was amazing. Probably the best I've ever had so far.

WestWind Crossing

Stopped by this spot in Frisco to meet friends for lunch. It’s a little hidden (one level down between Thirsty Lion and 7 Doors) but nice once you find it. We sat outside and Jay took great care of us—super helpful and friendly. Food came out quick. I had the salmon sliders with fries (surprisingly good for a Thai place). One friend wasn’t too happy with the drunken noodles, but overall everyone liked the food. Plenty of seating, good service. I’d come back to try more of the Thai dishes next time.

Good options! Loved the dynamite shrimp and chocolate cake was bomb. Had good vegetarian options as well the fried tofu was too good. Chicken satay was average not great . Pad Thai was average but drunken noodles was awesome. The drinks were gooood too and highly recommend the ones in the pic ( don’t remember the names)

I should have spent the $100 dinner for two somewhere else. Unfortunately, our experience at Tande Thai was disappointing. The ribeye steak we ordered medium came out raw, and the prime rib that was supposed to be medium rare was served medium well/chewy. When you’re paying that much for dinner, you expect the food to be cooked correctly. The flavors were okay, but the incorrect cooking temperatures really ruined the experience for us. For a $100 meal, the quality and attention to detail just weren’t there. Sadly, we left feeling like we could have had a much better dinner somewhere else.

Disappointing experience at Tande Thai, Grandscape. Felt unwelcome from the start - host and manager ignored us upon arrival, made me wonder if we weren't 'welcome' there 🤔. We arrived as a group of 8 and expected better. Food wasn't authentic Thai and lacked flavor. Tom Yum soup had purple cauliflower??? Yellow rice was undercooked. Spoke to manager, who didn't offer compensation or care. Restroom was unclean, toilet paper everywhere. Host was rude, ignoring us when leaving. We felt like they didn't want our business and treated us poorly. Not worth it. Unprofessional service, WON’T be back. (Surprised they're still employed, given the bad reviews. 😡)
