Absolutely this location. The staff is always friendly and knowledgable. Because it is close to our church, a lot of people come and chill after. I have always been made to feel welcome.

Perfect for pure hot chocolates. The best hot chocolate I have ever had anywhere in the world. The place is full of history and the staff knew all about it too. Very helpful and kind.

What a nice azz afternoon spent here at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Met some long time friends we haven't seen in ages. Spent a few hours reminiscing about the Good 'ol days, enjoying coffee, tea and pastries. It was Very Enjoyable.

Always very helpful and pretty quick at fulfilling orders. My app hadn’t been working so I had to walk in to place my order and I was in & out within a couple of minutes. 👍🏼

Jules was warm, friendly and helpful—this is the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf standard. She was also a sweetheart, because she’s clearly a special person. Then there was Kyle. I asked myself how many years this veteran had been with CBTL, and how much he was getting paid. Kyle moved like a PRO—he loved what he was doing and he was locked in. He was moving like a ninja barista. When he had a second, I asked him how many years he had been with CBTL, because he was moving like a veteran. He said he had only been with CBTL for about a year, and he clarified that he was only 18 years old. Everything he said surprised me, because his full facial hair maje him look older at first glance, but upon closer review Kyle had a very young face. So how is it possible that he handed me a perfect Americano? It was perfect. CBTL really knows how to hire. They all have the best staff. This location was no different. Plenty of parking, but it’s a busy shopping center so you might have to look around for a spot. Clean location—immaculate, the CBTL standard. Indoor and outdoor seating. 5 stars—the CBTL standard. Yesterday I tried Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for the first time in probably 17 years. My go-to has always been Starbucks. But there was a coupon so that’s why I went with CB&TL. I got the Iced Espresso Cookie Butter Latte (with almond milk), and oh my gosh!! This is GOOD coffee. I didn’t need to modify the flavor (something I always need to do at other coffee establishments). I also ordered the cheese danish and cheese jalapeño bagel. So good!! But let me tell you, the cheese danish alone is enough to make me choose here over Starbucks. Their danish is good, but it’s not amazing like Coffee Bean. So if you’ve been wondering, now you know 😆 I did order thru DoorDash yesterday and today. And I will say I’m disappointed that the coupon for a free White Chocolate Latte didn’t work—both times. Kind of think I should still get one since it was the reason I ordered to begin with. Especially since the first danish was broken and dropped on the floor 😆 so only got half a danish, but 🤷🏼‍♀️ Today I also got an Iced Espresso Vanilla Latte (with oat milk), absolutely delicious!! Oh, and the cookie butter one had more of the cookie butter flavor today. Which was wonderful. I shared this with Natalie there, she’s a great barista. Then the manager, China, as well. Appreciated she took the time today to explain more about their products. Will definitely be having more coffee and danish’s from here!! Oh, and can we just take a moment to appreciate the ice here—yasss!!! Loveeee their ice!!!

The environment is comfortable, it's kinda different from other locations where I used to go. The servers are friendly too. It's recommend to people who like to have a quite and relax place to work, study, or having light conversation.

This place has an amazing Jewel 💎, I get a half chocolate half vanilla ice blended drink. It makes a perfect ratio which creates a heavenly refreshing beverage.

I guess I haven't been here for a while, I do remember buying my tea less than $13 prior to Pandemic now it's $20 that's a 54%. The place is definitely really nice but wasn't as nice as the one that was in Janns Mall, they had cozy seating with fire place/pit and a nice retreat while waiting for my car getting detailed acrossthe way. (Pre-Pandemic I had Money 💰 now, barely have a J.O.B., Just Over Broke) Staff are sure friendly, definitely friendly appearance.

My recent experience at this location was my drink was made well and efficiently but the individual who helped me seemed disinterested. Not that they were rude, but I guess I appreciate eye contact and a smile? Again, drink was made well and the place was clean overall including a very tidy bathroom.

I would love to give them a 5 because their coffees are great. The only drawback is their menu for food. The site shows a nice variety but many of the items are never available. Otherwise, their service is great and employees are always friendly and courteous.

We love your store and your coffees! HOWEVER, it would be appreciated if you could purchase some new tables and chairs. About 1/2 the chairs are falling apart! And a few umbrellas would allow more folks to enjoy the area! Please!? Thanks!

Not premium coffee, but tastes ok if you go for the milky and sugary frapuccino-type drinks. I am spoiled by European third-wave coffee shops, so was not impressed with the flat whites that I got there. But the shop is nice and the service is super friendly.

First off, I think it's important to note that I've never actually left a review before...anywhere. When I went to the Thousand Oaks location this morning to pick up a mobile order, i noticed that there was no half & half like I ordered. I stood at the coffe bar and tried to ask nicely for some half & half. I was completely ignored. I could see the baristas were very busy so i waited patiently for a better opportunity. After standing there for a few minutes I politely asked again and was treated very rudely. The woman closest to where I was standing snapped at me and demanded I giver her my cup. Then, without asking, she just stood there and gave me a dirty look when i didn't know to remove the lid immediately. I asked her why they didn't just put the half & half out so customers like me didn't have to ask. She then snapped back at me "COMPANY POLICY! COMPANY POLICY!" I too used to be a barista at a very busy location. I know how stressful it can be to get everyone's drinks out quickly but I would NEVER speak to a customer in that manner. Please remind your staff that a quick smile goes a long way :)

You're not allowed to decide for yourself how much cream and sugar you'd like. They decide for you. Apparently, doing it yourself gives you covid. And if you ask for more, you get major attitude.

I get the face mask requirements but when I am wearing a face shield because I can’t wear a mask to due medical reasons and still get kicked out. Worst customer service!! I medically can’t wear one and I still have a face shield. Never going back after the fact. 🐑!

Worst coffee bean I’ve been to Horrible drinks

I ordered iced latte. The coffee taste bad. Not fresh. Lack of flavor and too bitter. I did not request easy ice but it came with easy ice. I love coffee bean. It is my favorite coffee shop. I tried about 7 different locations through out my life. This is the worst location. When I pick up my order, they did not call my name. Iced latte was my name. Not going back to this location again.

The general manager, Sue Auerbach, is rude. I bought my morning coffee. That morning, I accidentally got sunscreen in my left eye. I went to the bathroom and it was so dirty. There was trash all over the floor, and there was no paper towel or toilet paper. I prefer going to Starbucks now. ( I told Sue about the bathroom, and the comment she gave was to go to Vons they have a restroom). There were two cashiers just standing chatting at the register. Poor service.

Then Crystal became the manager, much of the same staff and always pleasant. I’m not sure who this new manager is but she snaps at her employees and they are not well trained. Last two times our order was wrong and we waited for over 15 minutes for both of our orders. Once due to the fact that the girl making it couldn’t multi task and would stop what she was doing to talk to her coworkers. I almost said something, but didn’t want to cause a scene. I hope Coffee Bean reviews these comments because this new manager is ruining our favorite coffee shop. I will continue to go here in hopes to see an improvement, but if not, there are coffee shops on every corner. Why would I want to start my day with misery.

And the quality of the product has fallen due to poor preparation. Cold toasted bagel before it's on the counter available to be picked up (and they give you rock hard butter to try to spread). My regular drink was made so consistently different I thought they had changed the recipe until I went to another location and received the same drink with the previously familiar flavor that was the reason it became my regular drink of choice. Never a smile. The staff always looks like they would rather be somewhere else. But I don't believe this to be the fault of the kids working the store. This type of constant poor performance always comes as a result of poor leadership. Too many poor experiences to itemize here, but each time I visit it seems to be worse. Both service and quality. Do yourself a favor and give your money to one of the other three locations you can get coffee products at in the same shopping center. I'm sure they would be happy for the chance to win your business.

I just saw the most entitled disrespectful franchise owner of this coffee bean (Sue blonde hair)threaten to write up this brand new employee, prolly her 1st or 2nd week on the job about a supposed mistake she made on the register IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS! Made this poor girl cry the way she spoke to her, and of course I then said something about it and she tried to explain that she was training her. Then I explained to her that I was a sales manager/ trainer of 25 yrs, and THAT IS NOT HOW YOU PROPERLY TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES. You don't threaten them n make them cry, esp in front of customers! That's training 101 lady!! Sue's attitude is disgusting and who wants to experience that 1st thing in the morning while getting their cup of joe...NO ONE. She's seems to have a permanent attitude!?
