A great menu, breakfast served all day, dinner and lunch I'll be trying asap as well, great service, extra helpful. Showed up 30 minutes before they closed and was not rushed at all. Very hospitable and ate wayyy too much food and had the best breakfast I've had in a while. Definitely found a new place I'll be going to a lot more.
Food was delicious! The gluten free bread was reallllly good. Great service from Tony too!!
First time here and I consider myself lucky to have Tony (the manager). Dude takes pride in his job and is very enthusiastic about the food. He knows the entire menu front to back. #winning.
Jinky's is a combination of a breakfast, coffee shop that is open all day serving from the longest of menus, including lunch and dinner selections, and a full service bar with a counter and high top tables. It gives the impression of being a neighborhood place that is family run. Our family of six ate a late breakfast/brunch and had the best time. The mimosas, a classic bacon and eggs, a huge lox plate and a luscious French Toast were just a sample of selections from an enormous menu that would have something for the most selective of eaters, including vegetarian and vegan options. The ambiance and the service are both coffee shop friendly, although one can imagine long waits for tables at peak times given a limited number of tables and its apparent local popularity, The pricing is on the higher side but, given the quality and portion size of the servings, the value is pretty fair. Parking is easy in the large shared lot of a small shopping all.
One of our favorite go to for brunch. They also make great smoothies! The staff is super friendly! Make sure to ask for the Mayers Benedict!
This place has the best customer service. Lauren was very kind. She check with every customers every now and then to see what they need while dining. All staff were friendly. Our food was ready in less than 10 mins. Coffee was great! Love it.
Breakfast this morning was Awesome! Outstanding Customer Service, Outstanding food. The Jinky’s Nitro Omelette was the best breakfast I have had in years, very spicy, very good. The personnel were Great, Fast and Friendly! And Great Coffee! Jinky’s seems to understand how important great customer service is to a great dining experience. We will be back, for sure!
Jinky's is a great place to eat serving a menu for almost everything. They serve breakfast, lunch & dinner. I haven't ordered anything yet I don't like except the breakfast O'Brian potatoes. They have a full stocked bar for mimosas and a cocktail at dinner. They have outdoor seating. Jinky's is a great restaurant to try. Since the pandemic it's been very quiet and you get seated right away. Check it out! You won't be sorry!!
Jinky’s is always a safe bet, great food and decent care. Their breakfast is simply amazing with plenty of options, including a variety of extra healthy options. I love that a pitcher of coffee is left at your table whenever it’s ordered. Thing is, every experience is different, sometimes they’ll blow you away with over the top table side aid, and others you aren’t sure they remember your there. But with a restaurant comes variables and ultimately they are decent at handling them. Like I said, jinky’s is always a safe bet for breakfast!
I just expected a regular middle of the road dinner but it's quite the contrary. The fish dinner tasted great and the portion was enormous. My daughter's chicken tenders tasted so fresh and great. And the service was excellent. We'll be back!
Honestly the BEST chili ever. New management and some new flavors. I’m in love with the chili-changa! It’s a bfast burrito with chili and lightly fried. OMG The staff are friendly and attentive. I will keep coming back to see the new updates to the dinner menu
Excellent choice during our visit to Camarillo! Service is amazing, food was delicious! No pics of the food as it came and went wayyy too quick!😆 Guacamole Toast was great, crepes were great!! Pic of the hot chocolate only!
This was our third time dining here, and the experience was top-notch. Not too many guests at the time of our lunch. The owner and the Waiter, Tony, were friendly, fast, and quick to handle any concerns. The food was prime. No problem at all. The food arrived fresh and with full flavor. I had Vivi’s chicken sandwich. Brioche bun, grilled chicken, provolone cheese, fresh tomato, onion, lettuce, and avocado. I had the fries replaced with sweet potato fries. Tami had a teriyaki bowl, grilled chicken, brown rice, bell peppers, onion, mushrooms, pineapple, a rich, sweet teriyaki sauce, and was topped with sesame seeds. Our drinks were always refilled and Tony did a great job following up multiple times. The team works well with each other and is very attentive to the needs of the table. Would come back.
I have always loved the food that Jinky’s cafe served. I remember the very first time I came to have a meal! The portions are great the quality and taste is wonderful and the prices are reasonable until this day! I would definitely recommend this Restaurant!
Cafe Vivi has become my new go to restaurant in Thousand Oaks. Super convenient right by the Gelson’s market. I love the variety of breakfast and lunch choices. Chili was delicious and my server was top notch. Need to try a smoothie next time!
We had an amazing breakfast here this week. Ordered the Shakshuka, Eggs Benedict, and the Breakfast flatbread. Service was great and the coffee was actually really damn good for drip coffee. I asked the waiter and they use higher quality beans and give you a whole pot which was nice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and want breakfast/lunch.
Stopped into this bar/restaurant for a late lunch on Sunday and was not disappointed. The mango chutney and bleu cheese burger was as awesome as advertised. The portions of each dish I saw were generous. The staff was friendly and attentive and I especially loved the 80's jams they played throughout the meal. Will definitely visit again.
Delicious food! Lots of different Gluten Free Options! Great service too.
Got their breakfast croissant and their Oaxaca chili (after having a sample of it. ADDICTING!) Food was great and staff was nice. I don't usually leave views... This place was worthy of one!

Awesome place. Vegetarian breakfast burrito was so good. Great vegetarian options.
Fresh food full of flavor! The staff is really great, too. I've been there several times, this is my favorite place to eat, I take all my company there, it's soo good! Vegetarians will find lots of options as well. Handicap parking is available, and I've never had any problem getting a parking spot. Go, you will love it!
Excellent quality food and atmosphere. Fantastic service. Michelle in particular is a standout server. 10/10 would come again.
Stopped for lunch had sat outside. Service was amazing. Super friendly service. The club sandwich and sweet potato fries perfect.
I have been here 4 times and each time the food was outstanding, the service exemplary and prices very reasonable. It is my new favorite local place to eat.
Great place for breakfast or lunch. They serve an outstanding walfe.
Great food & even better service! The breakfast enchiladas & stuffed crepe were terrific.
The Nashville Chicken Sandwich is amazing! The food is great, but honestly we keep coming back for the amazing service. Fun dinner vibe, with lots of options, everything is delicious, and the service really could could not be better. Everyone is great, but Tony really makes you feel welcome and ensures you're totally taken care of. 100% recommend

Great selection and very friendly service, but while good, the food wasn't quite on par with the rest of the experience. The many variations of chili on the menu is enticing, but none of the five available the day I went were ones I was hoping to try. In sum, given the effort put into the variety of menu selections, it would be nice if the actual meals were as tasty as the menu is broad.
Jinkys is a great local spot. I've only had breakfast there so I can't speak to anything else. Their chili is top notch and all of the omelettes I've had have been excellent. I think their coffee could use some work though. Little on the weak side if you ask me. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.
Good food, but not exceptional. I came in to get some of their amazing chili for home. Had a good meal and great service at the bar. Top notch bloody mary. They have some craft beers too. Will be back to try breakfast.
Service was fantastic. We had a host named Kylee who was so nice and showed us some of her amazing photos and animals she crochet. Ethan was our food runner and couldn't be more accommodating. My daughter had a crush on him. Both deserve raises. Our server kept calling us his friends which really made us feel welcome.
This review is during the pandemic where outside seating is only allowed. The Servers and service was really good. Very Friendly. I had a question regarding the salmon, if it was wild caught or farmed. The Server kindly went back to kitchen to ask the chef. Said it was wild caught. It was quite tasty. Everyone one else in my party, there were 4 of us, enjoyed their smdish as well. One had shrimp scampi, which looked delicious. My only complaint is the chair. Because they are outdoor type patio chairs, they become uncomfortable after awhile. They are wood planked with gaps in between so no matter how I arranged myself, I couldn't get comfy. Besides that, the weather was nice for the outside dining, good food and good friends.
Food and service was great. Expensive place to dine. I had breakfast for 2 and it was $46
Always looking for a good breakfast or brunch spot, this place seemed to check those boxes. The first thing I noticed was the variety of the menu. There were so many things that were unique and sounded good! When I asked about the chili selection for the omelette, I was offered a couple samples which was a really nice gesture and helped me choose. I opted for the chili omelette with El Draque chili...their spiciest one offered. It's not a burn your face off spicy; it's more of a flavorful Thai Chile style spice that hits on the flavor and the heat. Service was good, but I felt it could have been a little more attentive. I never had my water glass refilled while we were there. I was able to try a bite of my wife's breakfast chili chimichanga and it was delicious. She got the mild Bartholomew's Beef chili which was really flavorful without the spice. I liked that item a lot! I'll be back to try some of the other interesting items on the menu here!
From the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was friendly. It was a busy morning because of Labor Day but they kept it in control and were able to make sure we were taken care of. They also accept feedback. The food I ordered tasted good but the waffle tower sounds like a big plate of waffles but as you can see from the picture, it's just one waffle stacked on itself with a knife through the middle to hold it together. The manager did his best to make it right so if we are in Thousand Oaks again we might give Jinky's another chance.

Pleasant place for breakfast or lunch, efficient service. Decent food and normal portions. Nothing exceptional and nothing terrible...Just a nice, average place to relax and enjoy a meal.
Food and service was great. Expensive place to dine. I had breakfast for 2 and it was $46
Jinkys has good food and a good atmosphere. But, when they are busy, the service suffers. We sat for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take our drink order. During that time, we watched multiple other customers having problems with their food and service. We left before placing any order.
Well chilaquiles sauce were mid. They serve a plate full of chips like the chips and salsa chips dropped some salsa style in there which makes them soggy 1 egg for 20 dollars. I just wish it would taste like it looks. Miss Jinkys

Breakfast Enchiladas were decent. Pricing is a bit ambitious. Got sliced tomato for my side and they gave me 3 slices. 20$ seems a bit much for Enchiladas prepared in less than 10 minutes. If they knock 4$ off each item I can see this place lasting.

Came here for breakfast with family, they were busy as expected for being Thanksgiving morning. Food was good when finally arrived but was like shifts. First never asked for what would like to drink k and pretty much had to force the order. Coffee arrived and plunked on table and just walked away had to wait 5 min to flag someone down just for creamer, ordered food and acted put out when had to flag yet again just for butter for toast. Also part of order was sausage links, was almost 20 min before they even arrived meanwhile rest of breakfast was pretty much already eaten. The potatoes were barely room temperature. Im sure this may be a great local favorite especially when not a holiday, and when your a local and servers know you as I saw time and time again. Definitely interesting experience but will not be returning. Dave Dave's world reviews
It was our first visit to the Jinky's Thousand Oaks location. It was quite a different experience. Although seating was fast, service was pleasant, the food was not up to par. The plate of pigs in the blanket and potatoes was barely WARM. The food was alright, it would have been better if the, sausages were cooked a little more, and the potatoes were something close to hot, or even VERY warm. Disappointing.
Just this place out wasn't great coffee was not good and the French toast was also not good the servicer made a mistake at ordering but apologized which was nice mistakes happen but food wasn't good at all. I did have the pork sausage patty which was the only thing that was good
The food was fine but overpriced and slow. The service was extremely mixed. Lauren, who helped me, was great. But the rest of the staff was unnecessarily short and unhelpful. When you have as mundane a set up as this little breakfast place - with competitors in the same strip mall, no less - you shouldn’t be driving away customers when they ask simple questions like when the food will be ready. I get that you’re not going anywhere, but I placed the order specifically because I was promised it would only take about 10 minutes. There are plenty of options around that can do anything this place can do.
We got a hamburger for my son that was $14 but after the meal we got a surprise with the bill. They added a hidden fee to cover the minimum wage increase rather than be honest about an increase in costs. Total B.S.!! If you can't afford to pay your employees a fair wage at your prices then raise the cost of the food and let the customers know before ordering. This is just the owners acting like spoiled brats. I will never go there again. Response: Every business has to adjust prices to account for higher wages. What you are doing is hiding the extra cost from your customers. Be honest and up front with your prices and raise your prices so everyone knows the true cost of your food. Stop hiding the true cost behind your surcharge.
i have been really disappointed in this place since the pandemic. the prices used to be reasonable and it was great having a fun place close to home. the prices have gone astronomical. 20 dollars for a hamburger? its not that good. if you are charging this then your fries should at least be hand cut. the 3.95% surcharge bothers me. you almost double prices and still charge me to pay minimum wage increases? if you pay cash they take 5% off the bill but keep the 3.95% surcharge. so i save 50 cents? ridiculous. lost my business for good. no wonder you aren't open for dinner.
Rating: ⭐ I had the unfortunate experience of dining at Jinkys Cafe this morning, and I must say it was a complete disappointment. My party and I were seated promptly, but from there, things took a nosedive. For a staggering 15 minutes, we sat at our table without any acknowledgment or service. No menus, no water, not even a simple greeting from the staff. It was as if we were invisible. Our frustration reached a boiling point, and we decided to leave. As we were walking out, I couldn't help but tell one of the employees, "Thanks for nothing." It's disheartening that it had to come to this. This experience was not only frustrating but also completely unacceptable. As a result, I felt compelled to share it. It's essential for the owner/manager to be aware of such incidents and take appropriate measures to improve the quality of service. I hope my feedback helps in bringing about positive changes at Jinkys Cafe. As it stands, I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience today
There's a reason the place was empty at prime brunch time. They nickel and dime you for everything. They advertise a 4% surcharge for increased min wage, and said they'd charge people extra for sharing food. The food is mediocre at best. They use the cheap Golden Malted syrup you get when you visit a hotel, and honestly that's pretty much the same quality as the rest of the meal. For $20 a person you'd expect higher quality ingredients and food. Won't be coming back.
