Stopped in for lunch since I was in the area. The owner/servers were super nice and attentive. The prices of the lunch specials are a great value. The flavor and portion sizes were pretty good. I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area again. They’re located in the corner strip mall, lots of parking available
We were looking for a high rated Chinese restaurant and found this one and we were happy we did! This place is very nice, a cozy clean, relaxing atmosphere. The decor is very well done. The food was very good not overly greasy and delicious. We had the teriyaki chicken on skewers for an appetizer. It was definitely not your average sweet teriyaki it was a savory not sweet flavor but good. We had Chicken fried rice, Hunan Beef, and Beef Chop Suey. All were spot on and had an authentic taste. The service was great they were kind, attentive, not pushy, and very efficient. Thank you for a wonderful experience and very authentic delicious food!

We have ordered for pickup several times since moving back to the area from NYC. The owners and staff are always attentive and the quality of the food is consistently great. Last night was Christmas Day and we ordered for takeout. They were one of the ONLY restaurants opened in the area. They only offered pickup and delivery. The lines and wait times were long, but the owners their family who were all working together as a team - remained calm, friendly and attentive- even with customers lacking any holiday spirit. My youngest child, who is in their 2nd year of Mandarin was able to converse with one of the owners. She offered to speak Mandarin conversationally with us when we return under less stressful circumstances and we plan on taking that opportunity. The food was fresh, flavorful and great portions for the price. The quality of service is always consistently friendly and helpful. But what stands out the most to me is that on Christmas Eve - their entire family was working together to serve others and kept smiles and well wishes the entire time - even with longer waits and some cranky customers. We will be back soon to enjoy a meal as a family with the family at Imperial Garden - Xie xie 谢谢
I found a gem in Thousand Oaks!! This sit down take out Chinese restaurant was a great surprise in Los Robles!! Traditional exquisite delightful and friendly I will add Imperial Garden Chinese Restaurant when I travel to California just for the wonderful cuisine.
Good food, moderate prices (mid teens). Ordered Chicken lo mein, Orange chicken, Eggplant in garlic sauce, Mapo tofu, Spicy beef in black bean sauce, Hot and sour soup.

We have been coming here for lunch for years. The service is great, friendly and like family. Although we usually order the same items off the menu, everything has been great. We love the atmosphere.
Really good food prepared and served by wonderful people! I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years. My personal favorite is their hot & sour soup and beef in oyster sauce…so delish!!!! We eat her about once a week. Best we have found in the Conejo Valley!! Give them a try you won’t be disappointed!!!! Love this place.
Imperial Garden is our favorite. When family from San Diego comes up, we go to IG or order take out or delivery. I go often even without them, hahaha. New Year’s Day was rough for my friend and so we opted for home delivery. Awesome. Food is always good flavorful and authentic…no matter what or when I order. Staff is great. Highly recommend IG.
Imperial Garden is the best Chinese food in Conejo Valley and Simi valley. We live in Wood Ranch and they deliver to us but whether you eat in or take out the food is always delicious. Family that runs the place are really good people as well. I encourage everyone to support Imperial Garden in Thousand Oaks.

Been going here for years with my family. Food is great, atmosphere is excellent, workers are very welcoming. Every time we come in they sit us in the same spot and we chat about life updates. Definitely one of my favorite spots to eat in Thousand Oaks.

Excellent Chinese food. A wide variety of dishes; family style, meaning each dish serves 4 people; or you can get individual a la carte style dishes. I recommend you support this restaurant. One of things this restaurant does; is they serve food to homeless & needy. Kindness & empathy is a super power. We need more restaurants to do this kind of service for the community.
Food had strong flavor, but the taste fell flat. The dish had potential, but the seasoning was underwhelming.
I visited here while going to an event at Cal Lutheran. I ordered Kun Pow Chicken with steamed rice. Service was very quick, and I received more than enough food. I felt that I was treated as an honored guest.
Atmosphere and service were great. Food, not so much. Orange chicken very bland.
