Amazing food and customer service! Matt and Francisco were so amazing. I use this place all the time for work events and lunches. Highly recommend!

I have been eating at stonefire since it opened for the first time in Westlake Village. They are an awesome place with good quality food for family affordable prices. A great memory from stonefire is my EMT school uses them 2xs a year to cater the testing days. It is a very special place to me. Yesterday for the first time they made a mistake on a really hard day for me. I told them about it and they completely rectify the mistake and it really meant a lot to me and my whole family. I love this restaurant and the value, and values they hold. Thank you.

“Great food, wonderful service” A group of us went to dinner tonight and we had a very good experience. We were in a private room, which added to the enjoyment of the meal. The main dining room was very noisy and crowded. The seafood tower was delicious as were the steak and side dishes. Our server, Erin, was very patient and very professional.

Counter service with food delivery to table. Self service drinks. Diverse, good quality menu. Food was very good, I was particularly impressed with the coleslaw. I feel that many of the restaurants in the Westlake area suffer from large chain feel with moderate service attentiveness. I am happy to say that I received very attentive service at this restaurant. I had the BBQ beef sandwich and it was very well prepared and served on fresh bread. I would not call it gourmet quality but it was very tasty.

Love this place for breakfast lunch and dinner. The half Caesar salad and tri-tip is very affordable, and the Caesar salad dressing is amazing if you live garlic, which i do. And I eat the tri-tip with the lemon garlic dressing that usually goes with the chicken. It's just *chef's kiss*

I love this place!! The seating area in the back is the perfect place if you have a large party. There were 17 of us and our food was brought out to us in no time! Service was amazing!! We had everything from salads to ribs to chicken and pizza. The food here is delicious!!

The restaurant was clean & the staff was great. The only thing that happened was that I was with my husband & a friend of his & when they came with the food, they never brought out mine except for my salad. Finally spoke with the manager & he made sure my food was prepared & put in a to-go box, then refunded my purchase of my meal & gave me a $30 gift card & made it right. Because the manager made it right, I will definitely go back there.

Amazing food! One of my favorite restaurants. The pesto pasta is phenomenal and the service is also very fast. Great to get large portions for family events. Highly recommend the breadsticks as well.

Great location and atmosphere, excellent service, unusual to have such a nice place where you pay up front then sit at a nice table, but other than bringing your food and bussing, it's not table service so no tip expected, although surely appreciated. Food was better than avg, just no great ioho. Chicken pesto sandwich (x2) was good, not great, with crazy good looking homemade bread that fell surprisingly short of the mark on taste. Mediterranean ck salad was also good, but not great. This was just a one shot visit for us, though, and were I in the area again, I'd surely give 'em another try, for they have all the trappings of the perfect type of spot for us.

Enjoyed the food and settings at this family restaurant. The outdoor patio dining areas are comfortable and airy. It is a regular go-to place for good family eating. We love the tri-tip, Ceasar Salad, and Pizza. Visited in May 2024 for dinner with BBQ tri-tip, Caesar Salad, Penni Pasta with Pesto Sauce, and breadsticks. These are my family's favorites and they still taste great and enjoyable. The restaurant is now less crowded during dinner hours on weekdays compared to a few years ago. So no need to wait to be seated on a table. Great dinner experience and everyone enjoyed it. 👍👍

This place has great food and a seriously incredible staff. I've never felt so welcome dining anywhere else. They are always so attentive and polite, I wish I could point someone out in particular but everyone is so awesome! Keep up the good work and great food.

Never disappointed!! There's always room for more food in the fridge! 😁 The portions are great. Food is yummy!! and there is always a good spot to seat and eat, whether indoors or outdoors. The young staff ALWAYS well mannered and "in" great attitude!..lt's to note, that they either, have had great parents or else a well trained manager and/or mentor. Twice I've seeing incidents of how they handled rude clients and l was well impressed! . BTW their salads are the best!! & huge! so are their side portions. A small can feed 3-4, so splurge your $ and buy more of their delicious meats!. If left overs ..amazingly delicious for brunch the next day. No regrets here, except, l wish they had a byob & corkage fee.

Had the chicken and tri-tip. With cowboy beans. Excellent flavors! Also got the whole cauliflower, would have been better hot, great flavor and well recommended! Food not served together, but not a big deal. We will definitely be here again!

Be prepared to wait to order during prime times-- it gets crowded. Take-out is also available (you may call the order in). The place is noisy, even when the restaurant is not busy. The servers are very friendly and accommodating--the order is placed at the counter and then brought to the table when ready. The guest is responsible for getting any soft drinks or water. The food is consistently good. FYI, tips are pooled.

Gerald and his team were great this evening. My family and I really enjoyed the outdoor patio area for dining. Outstanding Tri-tip and BBQ Ribs!!!

Wow, this place is awesome! The food is absolutely delicious. We got a salad and the Roasted cauliflower appetizer which was sooooo good with the lemon tahini sauce. The prices are very reasonable too! It smells amazing in there and the food was so fresh. Great place! I wish we had this restaurant where I live!

Full disclosure: This review is specifically for a take out order I placed for a gathering I was having. I ordered the "Stonefire Mega Feast" which included 24 breadsticks, an order of the mesquite chicken, an order of the lemon garlic chicken, ribs, steak, salad, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese (the sides are customizable), ranch and bbq sauce of the side. I also ordered 4 pieces of carrot cake to share which we only got to 2! It was exactly what the doctor ordered! It was a bit pricier than what I wanted it to be, but it was totally worth it. The food was wonderful, and everyone was impressed... If you're having folks over and just don't have the time and energy to cook, but you want to do something more than pizza or the same old... consider Stonefire!

The last few times I've been to this place I've never been disappointed with the food. They seem to have a very efficient system in place in terms of quickly getting you your food in less then 10 mins after ordering. Due to this, they have a high turnover rate when it comes to the number of customers they serve in a day. Very reasonable prices considering the quality of food.

This is one of the best restaurants in town! Their service, food, and the atmosphere is just so welcoming and friendly. The General Manager, Matt, is an awesome guy! He works just as hard, if not more, than his team! You should check it out! 😀

Long time customer here. Went for lunch today with co workers but had an issue with getting our food. An employee by the name of Talan corrected the situation PROMPTLY! The manager by the name of Matt walked by the table to offer us to go boxes and we told him how this young man saved the day! Job well done! We really appreciated the excellent service. Thank you!

I have eaten inside often where you order at the front and sit down and they serve you your food. It is always fantastic. I ordered a large catering meal for an event. They were a little late with my order but it was fine because the food is absolutely delicious. The lemon chicken is so juicy and flavorful- it’s always a fan favorite. I also ordered tri tip which is so tender and comes with a side of BBQ sauce. For sides we got the Mac n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes with breadsticks. All 3 sides are hands down my favorite out of any other competing restaurants. We also got a garden salad. There was more than enough food and everyone was incredible happy with the menu. 10/10 will definitely be back for dine in and catering events ! Didn’t get any picture but definitely will add some next time I eat there.

This was a new restaurant that my wife and I tried out. The food was good, as was the price we just didn't know what to expect. With a fast food type of ordering system to self seating to getting your own drinks. Our food was served quick faster then most traditional fast food places. I'd say under 10 minutes!

I have had the best experiences with StoneFire! First off, the food is absolutely amazing and for a great price! My fiancé and I fell in love with their food and decided to have them cater our wedding next year. I recently visited this location and asked to try the different types of chicken so I knew what to order and they were so kind to let me try their different options. Truly the most amazing service!

This place is THE BEST!!! And GERALD makes it that way! So does the incredible food and carrot cake, and always great deals! Adding to this review, it's been a few months since we were there due to finances, but we went for Mothers day, and Gerald, the best manager ever, remembered me, and we greeted eachother with a hug. This resteraunt isn't just about food, it's also about satisfaction, and building good relationships. Thanks to all the staff, and especially Gerald for making this a trip we will never forget. We love you so much, you feel like part of our family.

Best salads in town. Excellent quality food and very nice professional service. Ryan the manager helped us and we were very impressed with his professionalism. Excellent food. Great management. Recently we also had the pleasure to work with Shania Patton. The other manager on shift. She was very professional and accommodating. Great job. Excellent 1000 oaks location. Just had another great experience with management here at this location. Sean the manager a perfect gentleman , Very professional, he took care of me and my family. I’m a customer for life. Great service. Good job !!

Stonefire stepped up and sponsored our team event! The pizza was great as always, but the service of the employees was even better they saw I was struggling with a pizza mountain and helped me get it to the car! The team appreciates them so much!

Pleasantly surprised. Food was very good. My wife had the burger which looked great and I had the chicken and tri tip plate which was cooked exactly how I ordered. The pizzas at the other table looked great and I'm sure we will be back to try more of their menu. This was a good casual dining experience that was good food fast, but certainly not typical fast food.

Lots of options here can pretty much get anything you want here. Pizza is good sized and the prices aren’t bad. They also have plenty of seating for large parties. The soda machine has the cool ice if you know what I mean so always a cool plus. Workers are all very friendly. You order before you sit down so that’s a little different but makes it interesting and a good place to visit it.

I selected StoneFire Grill - Thousand Oaks to cater my mother's Celebration of Life event for 45 people 2 days ago. Full disclosure... I have never been to any of their restaurants, but I did attend an event catered by SF about three years ago. Throughout the planning and execution of the event, each of StoneFire's representatives were pleasant, competent, patient and personable. Everything proceeded on time and without any surprises. In addition, the food was much better than I expected. We had "StoneFire's Best" which included Tri-tip, Asian Sesame Salmon, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Cheesecake and some other sides. As a wanna-be chef, I appreciated that each dish was beautifully presented and seasoned. Our server, Nick, was also pleasant and efficient. I recommend StoneFire for anyone wishing to cater an event.

K

Great food at a good price. This is a great place to come when you want really good food but don't need to be waited on hand and foot. I'm not saying the service is sub-par. It's just not a full-service dinning experience. You pay up front, find a seat, grab your utensils and they bring your food to you. That said, I have found the servers pleasant and helpful. Both the food and service are better than you would typically expect from a restaurant using this format. The meat is good, but I prefer to eat vegan where a can. The salads have options that work for vegans and are better than expected for a place with "grill" in its name.

J
Jeff Morrow

I just appreciate the quality food at a reasonable price. We'll run place with great management and friendly and efficient staff. I love that they have awesome healthy vegetarian options. Pizza is great. I happen to really like their crust. Portions are huge. Beer selection are small but quality.

5 Stars – Perfect Team Dinner Experience! We recently hosted our basketball team dinner at Stonefire Grill, and everything was absolutely PERFECT! From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and accommodating, making sure our large group was taken care of. The food was incredible—delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. Every dish was a hit, from the tri-tip and BBQ chicken to the amazing breadsticks, pasta and salads. It was the perfect meal for a hungry team after a long regular season! Now it’s playoff time! The atmosphere (outdoor patio) was warm and inviting, making it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The service was top-notch—friendly, efficient, and attentive, even with our big group. If you’re looking for a great place to host a team dinner (or any gathering), Stonefire Grill is the way to go. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend! Lastly, the carrot cake is legit!!!!!

Sean, the manager, was terrific. I took my nephew to Stonefire because I love my Ceasars salad and my passion ice tea. My nephew had a delicious sandwich with a side dish of mash potatoes. On your birthday 🎂 the restaurant will give a free piece of their terrific carrot cake. Also, Stonefire gives a reward of $5.00 off your purchase when you meet a certain amount of points. Michael was very professional and kind when he took our lunch order. Everyone should experience a good meal from this restaurant. Thank you, Connie Romero

We ordered catering from StoneFire for a birthday gathering, and when we unpacked everything, we realized the mashed potatoes were missing. We had assumed one of the trays was the mash, but it turned out to be breadsticks. I called the restaurant pretty upset—this was our main meal, and it threw everything off right as we were about to serve. That’s when Daniel Gill, the Assistant GM, completely turned the situation around. He was kind, professional, and genuinely understanding. Without hesitation, he drove from Thousand Oaks to Moorpark to personally deliver the missing mashed potatoes and make sure our celebration stayed on track. The truth is, mistakes happen—no one is perfect. What truly matters is how those mistakes are handled, and that’s where Daniel really stood out. He went above and beyond to make it right, and thanks to him, something that could’ve derailed the evening became just a small hiccup. StoneFire is lucky to have someone like him.

Stonefire Grill is a HUGE community supporter! The food is great, always good quality, and big portions. The service is friendly and the manager is super helpful. Stonefire grill in Thousand Oaks, CA This venue is the perfect choice for special occasions. A few months ago, my wife and I contacted Danny, one of the restaurant's managers, to assist in planning my retirement party. From the outset, Danny was incredibly professional, thorough, and attentive. He walked us through a range of options to accommodate our group of over 60 guests, ensuring every detail was meticulously handled with care and patience. Danny truly went above and beyond—he’s absolutely fantastic. We chose to host the event on their beautiful patio, and the experience exceeded our expectations. In addition to Danny, Managers Gerald and Adam were incredibly accommodating, responding to our last-minute requests with ease and professionalism. On the day of the event, everything came together seamlessly. The presentation was stunning, just as promised. Caterer chef Brandon and his team served a fantastic selection of food, drinks, and desserts, each dish crafted to perfection and presented with a wonderful attitude. The entire team—managers, chefs, hostesses, servers, and cooks—gave their best effort, ensuring that every aspect of the event was a success. Our guests had an unforgettable time, and we couldn’t have asked for a more memorable celebration.

We love Stonefire Grill, especially for catering family parties and school events. Their tri-tip, pastas, and salads are always delicious. Some of our favorites are the pesto pasta and the BBQ chicken salad. They do such a good job with catering orders. Everything is always on time, hot and fresh, and they never miss a detail. It's so nice to have a place you can count on when you need to order for a large group. I also go here for lunch with friend quite often. It's one of our favorite lunch spots in Westlake.

Stonefire grill is ALWAYS a good choice. Their menu has something for everyone and everything is made fresh. My favorites are the Mac and cheese, Tri-Tip, mashed potatoes, and of course their pizza. NOW, I can't leave a review without mentioning that Stonefire Grill has THE BEST Cheesecake you will ever have and their Carrot Cake is otherworldly as well. I tried their new pretzel bites which were fantastic and the beer cheese was incredible as well. Okay, go and try it all and report back!

The service was excellent. They replaced one of our meals since my daughter did not like the taste. The lemon garlic chicken was delicious and the salad came exactly how I ordered it. The indoor seating area is very lovely and the outdoor dining area is beautiful. It was too cold to sit outside even though we really wanted to. They were out of tropical tea but as soon as I let someone know, they immediately started brewing some. I like the self serve area but the "to go boxes" were gross. Lots of greesy fingerprints on a lot of them. I finally found a clean one near the bottom of the pile.

First time here and it’s an excellent spot. Customer service is great and the vibes are awesome. The Caesar salad tasted real good. I look forward to coming back again.

This was pretty ordinary food. Nothing spectacular. I gave 4 stars because they were open, had a patio with heaters and we could sit outside. The kids that were working were doing a good job. They were all friendly But my tri-tip came out on a small pizza plate. A tiny portion with some coleslaw for 18 bucks. The other salads were a decent size. I wouldn't put it on my list of places to go to again.

Four of us had a business dinner here. The food was outstanding, atmosphere was very nice. It was quite so easy to carry on a conversation. Wait staff was very helpful at selecting our meals. Everyone was extremely happy with their meals. I will be back . . . and bringing friends!

R
Richard Kirby

The food was good, left full. The dine-in option is just not smooth. Ordering when come in is clunky, getting your drinks some where else and selecting your own table. Plus the staff has a little scatter, food came out in 3 passes. It definitely detracted from the enjoyment of eating out. I would order out or definitely get the catering, but would likely would skip dining in.

A
Alessandro Campagnolo

Great place and many food choices. Fabulous for families as there are choices of sizes that go from serving one person to many. I found the music too loud. It would be nicer to play it at a lower volume or have a quiet area in the restaurant without speakers.

L

Love the large portions they serve here. The food is always fresh and good/high quality, no matter which location I go to. They're often busy during lunch time but the wait is never more than 5minutes or so.

A
Absaid Alcala

I've never been here before. So my first time was nice but a bit confusing. The restaurant looks like a place that you'd have to sit down and order from the menu. Nope. You have to order at the front which I don't have a problem with at all. I sat down and they brought us everything in a reasonable time. I did not know that you have to go get the plates and silverware yourself, again, I don't find to be a problem, I didn't see a sign. Moving on. What made me not give 5 stars was the PASTA. TRUST ME! ITS GREAT! but for some reason, IT TASTED LIKE THE M.R.E.'S (MEAL READY TO EAT) I USED TO EAT. If the food did not have a hint of that then I would've given you guys 5 stars. Overall you guys are good

B

The food quality is not consistent. The service is okay and the music is too loud.

A

Fast casual BBQ restaurant. The menu is mostly centered around BBQ and sandwiches with soups, salads, and pizzas too. You place your order at a register when you walk in and they bring It to your table. Service is generally pretty quick, even during busy lunch hours. They do offer a small wine and beer selection The pizza is good, the breadsticks are addictive. Soups are fresh. I've tried two different chicken orders and both times and just tasted off. Not bad just different. That said it's still a good stop.

M
Michael German

The food is pretty good. The tri tip was yummy. Ribs were tasty.

B
Bryce Harmon

The food is always good for a basic BBQ style restaurant. The pay up front, grab an open table, then food delivered to your table is an interesting concept that works well here. I've always had a good experience with Stonefire, and even the catering and the lunch specials are something I know will be good. Overall the meals are simple, but solid. I've always enjoyed the consistency of the food when I eat here. I have no problem ordering the tri-tip, chicken, pasta, mashed potatoes, nachos, bread sticks, or salads when it suits me because it's always been good. Overall a solid choice if you want a quick and classic BBQ meal without it being fast food, or a full sit down experience. It's a great in between option.

Lorenzo Gonzalez
Lorenzo Gonzalez

Love the food except for the rare occasional day it's bad, then the meat will be impossible to chew and the breadsticks stale. But they always make it right if you complain. Mind you, I have eaten here at least once a month for the past couple years, and it's only happened two or three times. The other problem is when the line at the ordering counter/registers is long, (and the customers tend to be very slow), and they don't notice, or are understaffed, or for WHATEVER reason, they don't open another register... that can be so irritating I've actually walked out before. What part of FAST casual got forgotten here? Anyway, I keep coming omimg back, because the lunch special is tasty and a good value. Oh well.

A
Adam Hillis

The meat here is great, but other stuff feels average to me. My hope was that the rest of their food would be as good as their meat. Atmosphere is very relaxed and loud (in a good way). Great place to bring kids as everyone there is expecting a little chaos. My 2- and 4-year-old ran around with their cousins the same age. No one seemed bothered.

Food is good, but the dining hall is too windy and cold. Hot food gets chilled too fast and deteriorates appetite.

Jesse Chappell
Jesse Chappell

This was an average experience at best. The pizza was very basic and nothing really stood out to differentiate it from any other place. I don't like having to stand in line to order and get 50% of a restaurant experience and then have to pay for a full restaurant experience. I hear the tri-tip is good. I might go back when in the area and give it a second chance.

The food is decent. We had pizza and which I would eat again. But the service is mediocre at best, you do most things for yourself, and the place was not clean. I would not choose to go here, but if I was with a group who wanted to go, i wouldn’t stop them.

Please note i have updated my review. I still like the food but so not the environment I have never been a fan, but decided to give them a try again. I do love their carrot cake, my fiancée likes their chop salads, so ok I did it. Well this time they did not disappoint. I got the buger, wow it was fabulous. So ok I be back for the burger and carrot cake to go. Not much of a fan of the cafeteria dining feel but if have to eat there it is not a deal breaker. Added to my review went there a month ago and was in shock about how utterly messy this place was and no one who was working there nor the manager cared or cleaned up. Food, trash, silverware was al over the floor. We were the for a long time because the food took forever. Everyone was just socializing. When we were trying to find a table none were bussed. Found one but it was covered in food on the table and chairs, had to clean it up myself, they just kept walking by as I stood up pointing at the table. As we sat and waiting for the food nobody bussed tables, no one picked up the food, trash or silverware off the ground, nothing. I watched a couple come in and try to move the plates off the table from the previous diner and a employee came up finally to help but the only placed all of it down on a empty table with other dirty dishes and they did not offer to wipe the table for the new diners. If the front of the restaurant looks like this and the employees and even the manager can't do their jobs to make the place nice for the people that dine there then what does the back look like?????

Disappointing Chicken Alfredo Lacks Creamy Indulgence Amid Chaotic Service In a recent dining experience, I sampled the chicken alfredo dish, only to be met with a cold and lackluster rendition in the midst of chaotic and disorganized service. The pasta itself was the main protagonist of this culinary tale, with Alfredo seemingly playing a minor role in the production. The scant amount of sauce provided little respite, leaving the dish feeling dry and devoid of the creamy indulgence one would expect from a classic alfredo. Amidst the chaos of the service, the dominant flavor profile was that of parmesan cheese, overwhelming the dish with its intensity. This unbalanced composition resulted in a meal that lacked the desired harmony between pasta, sauce, and protein. Ultimately, the chicken alfredo fell short of expectations, failing to deliver the rich and satisfying experience that this beloved dish is renowned for. With a more generous application of Alfredo sauce and a careful reevaluation of the dish's components, this rendition could undoubtedly be elevated to meet the standards of a truly memorable dining experience. And remember, if Alfredo wanted to serve just pasta with a sprinkle of cheese, he would have named it "Parmesan Paradise" instead!

The Tri tip was good but the ambiance.. where was it? You go in.. order at the counter.. get a beeper.. then they bring out your food. You need to go find your silverware and napkins. And fill your drinks. That’s all fine if you’re expecting to do that. I was not. We went in here blind. And my boyfriend tortured me and said they were out of carrot cake which clearly was not true. I’ll have to say that they really have great mashed potatoes. And they present the food well on the plate.

First of all the food and portions were great and a great price. But the dining experience it's not so great. I was in a party of four we both split off and ordered in different places in the beginning. We all sat at the same table and our food came to us like we're two different tables. They could not connect that were on the same table even though our locators were at the same table. We asked for additional salad dressing to three people it took tell we're almost finished with the meal before we got it. Staff are disinterested food Runners only. Getting silverware and drinks and to-go boxes are all self serve. Once your food is delivered nobody will ask if you need anything else. This place should be to go only. At least when I'm at home I know I have to do everything.

I walked up just to order pasta a simple order and the server Layla was rude taking my order and the female worker in the to-go order was rude as well . However the gentleman help serve me the togo order was great, he was very kind and cordial. The kid was a fairly young with spikes hair. Managers give the guy a promotion. He is the only reason why I’m giving this 2 stars. ( technically he deserves 5) but you got two 1 star contenders in the mix.

We have ate here several times prior but things were not very good during this visit. It would be nice if kid meals were delivered with the main dishes or first instead of several minutes after the main dishes. We had to ask several times for a side of ranch or where our kids pizza was. I ordered the wrap and the chicken was very dry. It also seems like they changed the breadsticks.

So this used to be a good and regular restaurant. Now it’s order you food at the hostess desk, then find your own seat, get your own drinks at the soda fountain, get your own utensils and napkins. Sadly it reminds me of eating at a soup plantation. The food was fair at best. I got the Rigatoni Alfredo with chicken. The sauce was runny and the chicken looked like someone chewed it first and spit ut out. I will not be going back.

This was my first visit and I was thoroughly unimpressed. We were there with a large party and four people order the same salad. Each salad looked entirely different. Prices were very affordable, but the food was unimpressive. The food wasn't bad, there was just nothing special about it. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things, but I won't be going out of my way to eat here again.

This is a sit and service yourself restaurant. The chairs obviously never receive soap & water. They were so filthy that my hand stuck to the chair when I went to pull it out to sit down. A young man came over to us, we hadn't sat yet. I asked if he could clean the chairs and sticky table and put the edges of the table down. He didn't understand a word I said. So we had to pick another table on the opposite side of the restaurant. The table and chairs were cleaner but still needed attention. Right after I sat, another young man came and gave us our salads. I asked if we were going to be given utensils. He said there is a serve yourself area for everything we would need. I didn't know this since it was my first time there. He said he would get us some anyway. I told him there were three of us, and our daughter wasn't at the table yet. He came back with just 3 Skippy napkins and 3 forks. Our daughter then came with our waters, and she went back to the self-serve area for more napkins and ⁹the main course of the meals needs to be cut with a knife. Which the young man didn't bother to bring. The rest of our food came. The bbq tri-tip, which I had and lemon pepper Tri-tip our daughter had, were very good. My husband had the grilled lemon chicken. I don't know how it was cooked. It didn't look or taste grilled. It was bland. The salads were ok, they could have used a little more dressing, which is not available at the self-serve area. The garlic mahed potatoes were lacking in taste, and the mac & cheese was the worst I've ever had. Another young man came to our table when we had just a few bites of food left and asked if everything was ok. At this point of our meal, what diiference did it make. So I told him the mac & cheese wasn't good, but we ate it anyway because we were starving, and we didn't think anyone was going to come check to see if everything was ok. Which they didn't till it was too late. He just walked away. For what we paid the experience wad a disapointment. At this restaurant, you order your food and pay before you sit. So, while you're paying, you are also asked for tips. I told them I hadn't received service yet, so I didn't feel comfortable giving a tip at this point. We did, however, get some excellent service anyway despite their employees. Our daughter went to the self-serve four times to get what we needed for our dinner. So I gave her the tip. We won't be patronizing this food stand in the future.

Two stars is being very generous. The WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! It's my first time ever eating here. Dear Frankie was so kind and tried to help also Gerald thank you for your patience. The French dip sandwich could be better, but it is the worst. The young staff is energetic and friendly, but they often become distracted, chatting among themselves. As a result, food is left unattended and served cold. Also asparagus clearly shows on their menu that it's a side, but they keep saying that it's an appetizer when it's not. Also it's a very popular spot for young adults and teenagers to come to. FYl they vape inside the restaurant, the girl across from us was vaping in the booth. Also one of the waitresses with short blonde hair that is fairly tall was showing to much PDA to her boyfriend that wears black rimed glasses while on the job serving to food to customers. Also it took them almost 45min to bring us our drinks. Which was a beer and a glass of white wine. It wasn't a pleasant experience at all. Hopefully they fix this and my next experience will be more pleasant.

This place is decent. Service and staff are nice. I ate the baked rigatoni with meat sauce. It was unacceptable. It was very dry. Not enough sauce. It was sticky and chewy. It would have been better if they added sufficient sauce. They actually wanted to charge me extra just to have more sauce so that it wasn't so dang dry. On a positive note the breadsticks are good. Maybe other dishes are better, but I won't be ordering the dry rigatoni ever again, that's for sure. I still can't believe they actually wanted to charge me extra just for some more sauce because I thought it was dry. That's terrible customer service, in my opinion.

The dishes here (Westlake Village store on Thousand Oaks blvd) are so terrible. Trip tip smells, salads is not fresh made, meshed potatoes tasted stale. They started doing online ads, however the food me not recommend this place for dinner or lunch. Kentucky fried chicken was the only purchase we made right last night. If allowed, I probably take the only star out of my review.

I used to eat here all the time, the food was good, the service was great. After a long time, we tried it again last week and it was terrible. My husband ordered tri tip and mashed potatoes. I ordered the Cobb salad. It was awful. The tri tip tasted reheated and the amount served was not worth the cost at all. My salad didn't taste fresh either. The people working there looked like zombies, they didn't want to be there, they didn't care. Not once did anyone come to check on us. We will not be going back.

0 Stars - Extremely Poor Experience with Sean, Manager at 3635 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Westlake Village! I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from Sean, the manager. His behavior was unacceptable: - Disrespectful & unprofessional demeanor. - unethical manner & body language acting. - Loud tone of voice. - Complete lack of politeness. Sean's attitude & behavior make him ill-suited for a management role. I hope the company takes steps to address this issue.

Chaotic service, unkempt staff, awful food. The chicken was brought out to me, lukewarm at best and just didn’t look right. I am never one to send food back or “ask for a manager” but when I caught the attention of another employee, I politely asked for a new plate of chicken as this one just wasn’t fresh or taste right. This employee proceeds to pick up my plate of chicken, asks “so what’s wrong with it”, and sticks his fingers in the chicken, right at our table! I immediately lost my appetite, so unsanitary and gross. I didn’t make a scene, I just again asked for a new chicken to be brought out. Absolutely disgusted and will not be returning. Serious retraining and management is needed at this establishment, it was an “animals running the zoo” situation.

Had a very poor experience at this restaurant. I ordered food for pickup and it took after 30 minutes from the designated pickup time to receive the order after having to go in and ask for an update. When I did finally get the order the food was very cold, tri tip that was ordered to be medium rare was very well done, and the portions are very small for ordering half a trip tip and it not even filling half of a medium sized to go container.

Absolutely horrible horrible! Worst place to eat, staff is unkind, not helpful and management sucks! Waited an hour for our food that they messed up on and every time we kept reminding them about a missing item they would roll their eyes and shake their heads(the waiters and the kitchen staff!) That we just left..I wrote them an email regarding their services in January and half a year later still haven't received a response. I would give them zero stars if it was an option. The food was not good at all either and we are still waiting on our bread sticks and salad.

Probably the worst pulled pork sandwich ever, the first bite was two big pieces of fat! And there was more coleslaw than pork and that pork was more sliced than pulled. The beans were ok, kinda bland but ok. Definitely not returning.

Entering the restaurant is similar to McDonalds. First, you wait in line. There's a posted menu and someone behind a computer to enter what you order. But unlike McDonalds the screen then asks if you want to tip 18% or 20%, or other. A tip? I haven't even sat down yet. I've no idea if the food or service is any good. Yet 18% for McDonald's service so far? If you don't specify that you'd like a glass of water, you will not be given a plastic cup and upon arriving at the self serve drink area none are available. So you can either return to the line at the front to request one or eat without any water. You also gather up your own silverware and napkins. 18% for this? Regarding service, of the three of us only two got our meals. The third had to request it again. 18% for this? If I'm going to tip 18% I expect better.

About 70% of all tables were dirty. Pesto chicken pasta was stale and the chicken was bitter, I didn’t even know it was possible to have bitter chicken. Chicken alfredo unfortunately suffered the same fate. Mac n cheese was stale. Bread was hard enough to use as a hammer. Burger came with a free side of cheese plastic too, yummy. Save your money and go hit up jack in the box.
