The best service we had out of all places in Vallarta, delicious food (highly recommend chicken livers), and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Cozy, family run spot with very good service. Enchilada suiza was fantastic and the drinks were good. Reasonable prices.
We had the filet mignon and it was delicious. We will be back.
Shrimp diablo and coconut shrimp and black and white steak were all excellent. Good service and reasonable prices
Love this place! Great food, quaint atmosphere and great service!
Outstanding food. GREAT salsa, margaritas and if you like avocado definitely recommending the Avocado Soup!
The best hidden treasure in Puerto Vallarta! Old Town atmosphere with wonderful dishes. Enjoy!
The cream soups are delicious. Hard to find good cream soup in Mexico. Served hot and fresh!
Real Mexican restaurant. Amazing food and atmosphere. A hidden gem recommended by locals.
This is place makes the short list of top restaurants in PV. Forgot to take pictures, but the mushroom soup & fish Veracruz were outstanding! I’ve been to Tony’s a few times over the years and it never disappoints. Definitely will return next time we stay here.
Been going here for years. Was my dad's favorite PV restaurant for a couple decades until he passed a few years ago. We still go every March for the great food and to toast the memory of my dad and Tony never fails to recognize my mom and greet her warmly and treat us like family. Don't miss the cream of shrimp bisque and the frog legs are superb 🫠
Tony is fantastic and Fernanda is amazing. The food is so good, the people are warm and welcoming and we really enjoyed our dinner here.
Great meal and excellent service!
A bit higher class of restaurant, but very cheap for the high quality ingredients and service. Many of the patrons seemed like regulars. My fillet tops were delicious, and my wife's chicken livers were perfectly seasoned. Hopefully we have time to make it back before the end of our trip!
Tony's is a wonderful place to eat! We have shared many dinners here with family and friends. Everything is cooked fresh and the staff is so friendly! Eating at Tony's makes you feel at home. Always looking forward to coming back on our trips to Puerto Vallarta!
Simple and small family-run eatery. Limited menu but something for everyone. The best filet mignon I've had in some time! Lots of nice touches including an honest-to-God (wait for it) linen napkin. Personal and friendly attention from the owners themselves. Be aware that credit cards are a no-go.
I love different food... Love taco street vendors with lips, head, check and chicharones. This place was amazing, you have to come and try the food. We had the shrimp fajitas and the surf and turf, two of our best meals ever.
My husband and I have eaten at Tony's Please four times now and everytime was an excellent experience. The food is wonderful ( in particular the enchilada suiza and the soups). I love the small salad so I don't get filled up in them and the hot bread is delicious. Everyone is always so relaxed and friendly there, too. It really is like eating with family (but no bickering... lol). And the bonus is we can bring our little dog. They seat us out of the way but never make us feel like having our little boy there is a problem. Oh! The enchilada suizas is not the usual creamy kind. It has a more tomato base with just the right spice but you can always put sour cream on it if you want it a little creamy. It is so delicious even for leftovers the next day. Enjoy!
Always good. Enjoyed the enchiladas suizza for maybe the 10th time - excellent. Menu includes a couple of unusual items: frog legs and chicken livers. I am not a connoisseur of either but a friend gave raves to the livers.
Great casual, inexpensive place with delicious food and wonderful hospitality. Tony and his family are always welcoming. We truly enjoy dining here. The frog legs and the back and white steak are exceptional.
Enjoyed the best meal last night at Tony’s please. We’ve been here three weeks and this was the best meal we’ve had so far!
Fantastic assortment of dishes. 11 of us had dinner and not a complaint from anyone. Great soups and pasta dishes but everything on the menu is good.
Always consistent, delicious, well-priced! I love the chicken livers. Need to try more things.
My chicken parmesan was delicious
Very accommodating for my wife who is celiac (wheat allergy) . The chef took extra care and prepared amazing food, very friendly ,great pricing. We’ll be back!
Excellent food! Some of the best we've had here in PV. Friendly casual atmosphere.
Best food in PV in my opinion! Celebrating 35 years in business! 👏👏👏🥳🥳🥳 P.S. They now have A/C!!!
The best chicken livers and onions in town! Plus, the owners are just wonderful. Big menu, reasonable prices, excellent service.
The staff were run off their feet from a very busy Monday but the service great and genuinely friendly. Food and drinks are also very good and reasonably priced.
Wonderful people and family owned!
I don't have a bad thing to say. It was a great meal. The staff were attentive and the food was amazing. Oh yeah and cheap 😀
The service and the food where fantastic, we will be back in 3 days.

Tony's Please is an absolute gem in all regards. It's a family run business, and every staff member we encountered from the owner right on down to the servers were so pleasant and welcoming. We overheard several guests say they will be back, and even some indicate this is where they end their last day in PV. Shrimp Pesto and B&W Steak were both incredible choices.
Rustic restaurant with great food and friendly family runned service. The garlic soup with egg was so delicious
We love this place and go here weekly. Everything is always great, and I have tried about everything on the menu. The peppered steak just melts in your mouth, it's that good. Tony makes great margaritas (my wife says the best in town).
I don't know how anyone can't enjoy the food, ambience or service. I had the filet with mushroom sauce...impeccable and husband had the pepper steak with chicken tetrizzini combo. Both came with salads my steaks with mixed fresh veggies and mashed potatoes. Best dinner I've had this visit (we've been coming a few times a year for over 20 years. I was a little concerned about people's comments about service but we had excellent service from everyone in the restaurant! Perhaps people project their own feelings on others? I don't know. All I know is my service, food and entire experience was super! Sammy the Pomchi says he liked his little treat too!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely unforgettable experience This place truly lives up to its name Tony’s Please is a must when you’re in Puerto Vallarta. From the first bite to the last sip, everything was perfection. The shrimp pesto was beyond amazing fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, tender and juicy like butter. And don’t even get me started on the chicken with white sauce spaghetti.. Every dish tasted like it was made with love and intention. The restaurant itself is colorful, warm, and charming, with a relaxed vibe that feels especially magical like Fridas house on a breezy December evening. Great energy, and that perfect Puerto Vallarta atmosphere you dream about. And the cherry on top? 🐾 They welcomed Duša with open arms no questions asked. That alone says everything about the heart of this place. Truly pet-friendly, genuinely kind, and incredibly welcoming. Amazing food, beautiful ambiance, and a team that makes you feel at home. We will 100% be back again and again. Gracias, Tony’s Please, for such a perfect unexpected night. 💛✨
We were lucky to get a table. When we arrived they were full. They added a table for 2. Great spot!! And very good food! The garlic soup is delicious!! Entrees are served with a small green salad and warm bread with butter. I asked if they would make Chicken Milanese and they did! I feel the restaurant could use a good deep clean. The glass on the paintings and the tv looked grimy.
We love the food, the owner and the atmosphere. The food is freshly made and delicious. The drinks are outstanding as well! Everything is very affordable The owner is friendly and kind! He remembers us even though we are only in town once a year. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Tony's is always a winner. Great food at a great price. Service is fantastic. Tony's takes great care of his customers. You won't be disappointed.
Great home style restaurant, like the good older places you seek out. It’s pleasant inside with good fans, the music is very nice 👍🏼. You get a lot here, chips and pico de gallo, bread, a small salad… all before your entree. The owner I’m guessing is very hospitable and staff seem friendly. Really enjoyed this and can easily recommend it.
Perfect Spot for Soups – Especially After Dental Work I came to Puerto Vallarta primarily for dental work, and Tony’s quickly became one of my favorite places to eat, especially when I needed soft foods. They offer a great variety of soups to choose from. The chicken noodle soup was hearty and chunky, the cream of mushroom had a smooth, rich consistency (I recommend grabbing an extra one to go), and the garlic soup with one egg was reminiscent of egg drop soup but with a whole egg—delicious! Every soup I tried was spot-on. While the menu includes options for a broader crowd, I focused on exactly what I needed at the time. Everything was flavorful and satisfying.
I have walked by this place several times and decided to pop in for dinner tonight. My waiter, Oscar, was very friendly and attentive. The owner, Tony, came by my table to see how I was enjoying my meal. It started off with chips and fresh salsa which I declined as I wanted to save room for my meal. Next came a small salad. It was fine but the dressing seemed a tad salty for my taste. Next was a basket of bread. Again, I declined. I ordered the steak, medium rare, with the blue cheese and balsamic reduction sauces. It was done perfectly. Tender, juicy, and the two sauces really made it something special. There was a side of mashed potatoes and steamed veggies—carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli. The decor was pretty and the atmosphere was very relaxed. I am definitely returning to try another dish, although that may be tough as this one was so good. And at 395 pesos, affordable.
Update! February, 2024 We stopped here, on a whim, again, a couple years later and Tony's delivered once more! I had the chicken livers. I know they are not for everyone, but they were superb, swimming in gravy. Dont hesitate to wait in the line, or better still, call ahead and make a reservation. First off, there was a line in frot of Tony's Please, the measure of a good restaurant. A family place, it was established in 1978. According to regulars we spoke with in line, the second generation was now in charge. I'm an American visiting Mexico. I don't know why I would think that just because a dish had an American name that it would taste anything like what I was used to. My date ordered the Chicken Parmesan. It arrived looking like flat pieces of chicken with something wrapped around it. No pasta, no smothering red sauce. I ordered chicken livers, thinking I'd get a big old mess of greasy fried livers. What I got was little chunks of liver smothered in a brown gravy. I took a picture of both dishes to prove to friends back home just how bizarre people here mistakenly cooked these dishes. Contempt prior to investigation came to mind as we began to taste.... Wowsers!! The chicken parmesan was actually encrusted with melted cheese. It was probably one of the most interesting recipes I've ever tasted. Nothing like the chicken parmesan I'm used to, but far, far better. There was just a little drizzle of a sauce on the side of the plate that tasted like a very light red sauce, maybe like a vodka sauce. It was simply used for dipping. It wasn't smothered like we're used to in the states. ¡delicioso! Now, the livers. I don't eat them often, but every now and then I get a craving. Our neighbor had them the night before and said they were really good. When I saw them I was very disappointed. One of the reasons I like them back home is because I can cover them with ketchup. I know it's weird, but that's just the way I eat them. And really by themselves, they don't taste so good, that's why I use ketchup. I hesitated, took a bite. SURPRISE!! I didn't need ketchup! They were cooked just right without breading and the brown gravy was light in taste, adding just a bit of cover-up for the livers. Cleaned my plate and felt bad that I'd felt betrayed in the beginning. Bottom line: if you think you are going into Tony's Please to get an American dish, I'm telling you now that you'd be wrong! They do take reservations, but no credit cards. With tip, we paid $530 pesos. Very reasonable for the splash of flavors.
Had an amazing dinner! The atmosphere was warm and friendly, small yet not not too crowded. The only thing I would critique is that The lighting was very dim.. As a visually impaired person I found it very difficult to see and appreciate my meal. Please note that it will not prevent me from returning for another great meal! Waiters were very attentive and prompt. We ordered a sangria and it was delicious. I had two! My mother ordered the shrimp crêpe, superb. Crêpe was delicate; bechamel sauce was delicious; and the shrimp were plentiful. I ordered the chicken parmesiano. Totally totally amazing! Lightly breaded and and full of parmesan cheese! Incredibly light and fantastic tasting. The accompanying pasta was fresh Perfectly cooked in a garlic and Olive oil. There was no overpowering tomato sauce loose off. I devoured it! One final bit of information. The tablecloths were actuall cloth as were the napkins, folded like a fan. Been a while since ce I've had t h T type of tables setting . Bravo! Came back to where we were staying and raved about our meal! Will definitely be returning.
This is a fabulous place to stop for dinner. Tony is super friendly and the food is delicious. I've eaten the chicken liver dinner, they aren't fried but cooked in a brown gravy. I usually go for the chicken or shrimp fajitas. He will accommodate any specific diet needs. My husband really enjoys the chicken parmesan. It's not what you would normally expect, but delicious nonetheless. You get fresh made salsa with a little kick. A simple salad and bread, before the meal. Margaritas are GOOD - get the traditional one. Runs $30-$40 for two of us and four drinks.
The good was amazing! I had the chicken crepes and they were so so good! My spouse had the pepper steak it was perfect and huge! Good value, great authentic wonderful find! Love this so much!

Nice clean place in good neighborhood. Food and service very good. Reasonable portions and prices. It's a go to.
Had brunch here, which was nice enough for a good price. We sat in the courtyard which was really pleasant and beatiful.
Small restaurant, appears to be owned by husband and wife. Located in a non-touristy part of Puerto Vallarta just south of Rio Cuali. Taxis can find it. Food and service very good. Type of place you want to go back to, which we did. Prices very reasonable.
This is a staple in town. They have been open since the 1970’s! The menu is straight forward steak and classic dishes like tettrazini. The Service is impeccable, thank you for the nice evening!
Great place to go with friends, food is presented lovely, good portion. I feel they need to be careful the make the food a bit to blend, some of it can do with some more herpes and spices. Good value for money.
Good food. Tasty but a little too heavy on the salt for me. Service is good until it got busy. Not enough servers. One guy running around trying to help everyone. A solid 4 stars.
Great mexican food delights with tasty margaritas. A fun colorful atmosphere and very comfortable with good customer service. Even Toni came by to say hello.
Every time we visits PV, we always go there for dinner at least once. That already tell how much we like the restaurant. Not a big place, typical size as most restaurants here but cozy and simple setup. Foods are always good. They are friendly and great service.
Mushroom soup and salsa were excellent. The filet mignon was sub par and not cooked as ordered. The gravy tasted and looked liked it just came out of a Tupperware plastic storage container and heated up. Was jelly like. My first time and my friends say it is usually perfect. Will go again to see if a bad day. My wife had chicken tetrazzini and said it was best she ever 6.
;)
Estupenda comida, muy buenos precios, servicio esmerado, el local sin gracia.

Underwhelming & overpriced. My wife & I shared the cream shrimp soup and fish Veracruz. Soup was okay. Fish was meh. The sauce tasted like Canned tomato soup with some green peppers & onions thrown in. Service & atmosphere were fine. Maybe the food used to be better? Or other menu options?
Esperaba más por el trato, prefieren más al americano que al nacional, su sabor deja mucho a decorar.
I really wanted to like this place, as there are always people in it when walking by. Live and learn. The salsa served is diced tomato, jalapeños and onion - uncooked. Not a huge fan of raw tomato, but it was fine - tastes 80% like jalapeño. Salad came with vinegar - what? I felt very guilty wasting it. Lime juice would have been a better choice as vinegar is no bueno. Put some cheese on it. Bread was tasty and seemed very fresh. Fajitas were more like a fine diced beef and veggies you’d get from a Chinese restaurant. Not what I enjoy. Included white rice, refined beans (that had no flavor except a hint of vinegar) and guacamole (that did not taste fresh - or maybe just had no seasoning or lime.) I feel like Chef Ramsey or Rick Bayless need to pay this place a visit and fix their menu and dishes. Potential to improve with a few small changes - or just list on the menu what an item actually is, because I ordered beef fajitas and what I received was not beef fajitas.
