Great small coffee shop. House roasted beans are quite good.
It was my first time there. The barista was very friendly. I got a hot hazelnut latte and an iced dirty horchata. The hazelnut had a mild sweetness and it was good. The dirty Horchata was amazing and they had an oat milk sub for the Horchata. They Got mech for the true supporters. There this sick tye dye I wana scope out.
This review is for the San Pedro location! Its located right by the Aquariums exit. There hot mocha is one of the best... This is a Great hole in the wall! OWNER OF THIS SHOP, PUT THIS LOCATION ON GOOGLE.
Hi.. in this morning my regular spot corridor flow was doing something for the community free coffee. I was waiting 1 hour to have my parking spot and I was furious about wasting my time. I’ve tried here before but gave it a try again. Nice clean set up inside some variation here so picked blue berry matcha latte… lil fishy at the end because of the blueberry flavor but the owner I guess, she made mine in disposable cup , I asked her changed it, she reluctantly made the new one like this beautifully… All the culinary services are about the devoted service is the priority. Then the taste and the vibe… as a master chef, I see the service first then the taste and plating, and the vibe… this is place hop in and out place and great parking spot and the services… thank you for your awesome latte in this morning… I’ve tried one more… Honey rose latte.. Wow this is full flavored latte.. deep honey taste with scent of rose… My favorite… awesome job!!!!
Great ☕️ shop worth a little detour 🗺! Come for the lattes, flat white or teas, stay for one of their delicious toasts — from avocado to cinnamon. Excellent selection of coffee beans, too. Great addition to the extended neighborhood of our West Coast office. Will be back soon.
One of my favorite coffees shop in LA area - I'm a former South Bay resident, but my parents still live there. Nearly every time I visit, I have to make a stop here. The seasonal drinks are great as well (I love the coconut vanilla latte) and the merch is super cute too.
Fantastic coffee choices and pastries! Great service, reasonably priced, and extremely knowledgeable staff.. love this spot! Quick service when in a pinch and always worth the drive from Hermosa.. my go to is the oat milk mocha, but the iced Matchata (matcha/ horchata) is a solid choice as well.. always enjoyable!
Specialty, artisanal crafted coffee with a selection of High quality beans from Oregon, Canada, and local LA roasters. Specialty chocolate as well. Baristas who take their time to make you the perfect drink and who also have knowledge of roasting. So thrilled to find a coffee house with a small, quaint decor and knowledgeable baristas. Also provides outside seating and internet. A hidden Gem.
Never have I ever had a nitro cold brew latte that was so... clean? I find that nitro doesn't often play nicely with flavors or milks, but the vanilla nitro cold brew was mellow but flavorful. Not one piece of the puzzle stood out. The vanilla flavor, nitro bubbles, coffee notes, and creaminess of the oat milk I chose just fit. I liked the vibe of the store. Young friendly staff that are having a good time for being at work. Clean bar and tables. Store branded coffee for sale in 10 oz. bags. I got to do some homework while waiting for traffic to die down. Would come back again if I'm in the area during store hours.
Good place to purchase coffee beans. Staff are kind, helpful, and knowledgeable about the products they have to offer. Bit of a wait but understandable due to orders being made. It's always reassuring to have staff who knows about the kinds of roasts they sell. Bought the Pacific Coast which was roasted just yesterday.
Just went to the new Offset Coffee location in downtown Torrance and the coffee was so good! The customer service was great as well. Can’t wait til they’re fully set up with some tables and chairs. Give it a try!
I was in Torrance for the week and stopped by Offset on my way to work. Usually when I go to a new city I'll try a coffee shop and if I like it I might come back, otherwise I'll try other options. I ended up returning to Offset three times. The baristas were always friendly and although there's not much to the place (I'd probably not choose this as a spot to work or study, though you could) what was most important - the coffee - was fantastic. The flavors of their house blend (Shaw?) were excellent (I'd say it's a medium-light roast), shots were consistently pulled perfectly, and the baristas did not add too much milk (I usually have cortados) just to fill the cup. I also appreciated that they did not add caps to their to-go cups by default (I forgot to pack my cup). If I'm ever in LA again I know where to go.
The place is a bit hidden but has great coffee. Their breakfast is also delicious. If you're in the area, this place is great to get a quick cup of coffee or latte.
Went in on a Saturday at 1130am and was able to get a little spot to sit with my laptop. It wasn’t too busy but nearly every table was taken. There is plenty of parking right in front of the store. I ordered the egg salad toast and a coffee. The toast was the perfect blend of tangy and crunchy. Coffee is good. Great little spot.
This place has been on the "want to try" list for quite some time, and finally made it today. Excellent quality coffee with seasonal offerings, bags of whole bean coffee for purchase, helpful staff, and a bright, if small, dining area. I tried the lavender latte with oat milk, and it has great smooth flavor, not too sweet. We also tried a spinach and artichoke pastry (very good, but next time will ask for it warmed), and the lox toast (excellent!). Definitely worth a spot on your coffee meet-up rotation.
Great coffee shop with a nice cool staff. Ordered the Guatemala black drip coffee that was smooth but bold and an almond croissant. I also tried a sample before I left of the Ethiopian coffee that I’m definitely ordering next time. It was very light almost like a tea but tasted fantastic. Looking forward to coming back here soon and buying a T-shirt or tote bag.
I came here to redeem myself after a not-so-great experience at another place (I threw the other drink away), and Off Set was the perfect replacement cafe! The service was great, either such kind staff and great suggestions; the drink was PHENOMENAL; and the overall experience was super warm and welcoming. I’ll be back! I grew up in Palos Verdes and was waiting for so long for any semblance of specialty coffee to show up in the neighboring area of Torrance. Offset was one of the first to show up, and I was ecstatic to welcome it. They brew a great espresso and iced coffees on hot days. It’s a tiny space, so maybe not the most conducive for coming to hang out for a while; but for take out or a quick sit down coffee great, it gets the job done. Offset is an absolute must if you’re from Torrance and appreciate good coffee. Full stop.
So glad this place opened up- this area had been missing a good coffee shop. It’s not a big place, but they make good use of the space they have, both inside and out, and there always seems to be parking. Coffee and espresso are on point (they use Stumptown), and they have a rotating menu of specials, which are usually very good. I probably come here way too often.
Need a quick grab and go breakfast option? Offset Coffee has lots of coffee choices, a seasonal menu and breakfast goods. You can order ahead. Two locally owned locations (Torrance and soon-to-be El Segundo) in the South Bay. Enjoy and support your local business!
Dropped in for a coffee, but the staff warranted the 5 stars - kind, polite, happy to engage in coffee banter with someone twice their age, and they make an excellent coffee. We grabbed the chai latte, which was well balanced and not overly sweet, and an oat milk flat white. Both delicious! The shop and parking lot are on the small side. Outdoor seating was perfect for a spring day in the low 70s.
The name drew me in! I was out running some errands and saw the sign and was like, YES, I’m there. Offset Coffee is a small coffee shop with big flavor. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, and with just one sip, #offseteverything. The shop offers seating outside and inside. It’s very small but has plenty of coffee options to choose from. They also offer small eats. I was hoping for a tasty pastry, but unfortunately, there wasn’t any available at the time of my visit. I also had to buy a Liquid Death water for fun-zees. Stopping by Offset Coffee was a nice treat. On my next visit, I would like to sit outside with a cappuccino and a small bite.
Stopped here before my son’s hockey game in Harbor City. Coffee is delightfully nutty, staff friendly and the food options were varied and yummy! I had the spinach and egg biscuit, melted cheese and with a side of Tapitio.. yes! My husband had the almond butter toast with strawberry jam and fresh strawberries.. crazy good!
I love this place the coffee options are great and it’s a relaxed atmosphere with both outdoor and indoor seating. They have seasonal specials and tasting flights. I really really enjoyed the dirty horchata. I also recommend hitting up their pastry selection. Don’t shy clear of the vegan donuts try them and any of the croissants (the guava one is a personal fave.)
Best specialty coffee shops in the Southbay. Consistently good lattes. Parking is never a problem. Baristas are busy but friendly.

Absolutely fantastic Earl grey latte and lox toast. The cream cheese they use in particular is a stand out and just perfection. Despite how busy it was, the staff working were friendly, efficient, and did an amazing job meeting everyone’s needs.
Visited for the first time, and ordered lattes with almond milk for my parents and me. The drinks were both fresh and delicious and the service was great. I will be coming back the next time I'm in the area.
Great coffee and tea as well. They have pastries but not a ton. The breakfast biscuits are incredible but you have to get there early to get one. Parking lot is small and people think it's ok to double park and trap.yku in, but other than that, it's a great location for any coffee lover.

Hot mocha was OK...lacking in chocolate flavor. My daughter had a nitro vanilla latte which she said was fine. Drinks here are good quality, but not as tasty as some of the other local independent shops. This is a far better choice than the big coffee chains, so if you are in the areas, it is a good place to go. They also have a selection of beans to bring home, and some of the bags were freshly roasted (less than a week old). I plan to go back to buy some when I need to replenish my supply.
Food: I had their jasmine tea. I wanted something not to sweet, caffeine and yummy. It was suggested to add jasmine syrup. Service: no line, educated me on my ice tea. Ambiance: very modern coffee shop vibes. There is seating inside and out. Parking: there is plaza parking. During the afternoon week day you would expect it to be empty. Recommend: yes I would.
They make decent coffee here! The only problem that I have is their parking lot. It's small and it's always full. So you will need to find street parking in order to come inside. This is a great place to study which is why I think parking is so tough. Other than that, their coffee is very fresh and very delicious. My favorite is the GOAT!
Nice little coffee shop off of Crenshaw. Smaller parking lot and a small indoor and outdoor seating area. The atmosphere is pretty hip and there's some upbeat music playing that was nice but a little loud for the space. Lol. Made me want to drink and get moving. There were four employees in the front of house viable and they were all working and super helpful and friendly. They have a good selection of coffee and tea drinks and a little menu of different toasts and biscuits. I had the flat white with oat milk and asked them to split the milk and espresso so I could taste the espresso before before mixing. I'm into trying espresso straight but can't drink it without something added. The espresso wasn't bad. Definitely WAY better then the big chain coffee shops in the area. It wasn't over extracted and the taste was pretty clean. There was a small sign where you order letting you know what type of beans they were using for their drip coffee and espresso. That was a really cool touch! You can buy their coffee beans here in individual bags as well as branded mugs, shirts, caps and bags. Will definitely be trying this place again when I'm in the area!

Laté and pastries were great. Animal protein was overcooked. Choco chip cookie might as well be called choco bar. Quality products, poor execution. 😮💨
It's a cute little shop. I needed some coffee before a meeting and this spot was close by so I decided to give it a try. There were enough parking spots in the front lot for me to find a spot Saturday morning. I ordered the mocha. It was incredibly milky. I didn't taste the coffee much. Service was chill but they don't accept cash. I'm not into that so most likely will not be returning.

Alright here we go! Thought I found my new spot but I guess not. Walked in 4-5 females working in the back talking and texting, cashier chick instantly rude upon arrival, was nice to the previous customer, I guess its because im Mexican and filipino idk, can barely hear her, asked her a few simple questions, looked at me like im speaking a different language, anyways latte was done incorrectly as I expected to the point where I didn’t even think it was worth her attempting to redo it, never coming back, so they pick and choose who they want to serve correctly, only good barista was male guy dont know his name! not coming back!!
I was in the neighborhood and decided to pick up some coffee from here because I have been to a different location and the coffee was delicious. My experience right after tasting my coffee made me regret that real quick. There's nothing I dislike more than spending money and regretting it. I ordered a hot vanilla latte with almond milk and this one is almost a tough one to mess up but I was proven that it's possible. My coffee was lukewarm and it tasted like it was either old or over brewed. I don't like complaining to people in charge of making my food or drinks because most people take everything personal these days. I sat outside to drink my coffee and write in my journal but the table was unstable to the point where I could spin it if I wanted to. To make matters worse, there was a funky smell. I'm assuming it came from the plant soil but that's just an assumption. The only good thing about this place was the friendly faces that attended me.
I ordered an iced passion fruit jasmine tea which was nice and my husband ordered a vanilla latte which he was not impressed with. I'm not sure how you can make a vanilla latte without having it taste like vanilla. It was very bland, no flavor. Our search continues for a really good coffee place.

I had been meaning to stop by, so today was the day. Staff was friendly. However, coffee tasted bitter, like it had been sitting out for a while, parking is horrible, and I have an issue when forced to pay by card.
