The food is delicious!! Kathy is really sweet, enjoyed her service. I was there Saturday and it was really busy and she was still on top of her stuff and still was the sweetest even under the chaos going on with the wait list and everything. Food came out fast and was delicious, I will definitely come back!!
Small place but big flavor. Decent sized portions. No refills on drinks. Parking is plentiful. It seems to be wheelchair accessible. The wait staff has plenty of suggestions. I saw this place reviewed by Channel 7. It lived up to the reporter's recommendation. What I liked best is that the spice could be adjusted when ordering. I will return next time that I am in the area.
First time here. Got their Fried Chicken Curry and the Shischo Ramen to go. Both were outstanding! Perfectly done noodles backed up by broths that bring the flavor for days! For the first visit we went with the lowest heat levels. For my wife, the level one Curry was hot enough. For me, I'm looking forward to ramping up the heat next time! Not a large establishment but worth the wait...
"Do your taste buds a favor and try what you might think is just ordinary chicken fried rice—but trust me, it’s anything but! You will not be disappointed. Everything comes together perfectly: the crisply chopped carrots and scallions, the shredded chicken packed with flavor, and all those incredible tastes infused into the rice itself. Let me repeat—into the rice! I’ve never had anything like this before. You don’t taste oil or anything overpowering—just pure, divine perfection. This is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. I’m seriously impressed! Special thanks to Kylie—this place is absolutely off the hook. You’ve got to try it. This is not a joke!"
This place is definitely my favorite go-to Ramen place now, until I discover something out there that may be better. I tried their Spicy Fried Chicken Curry Ramen with a side of chicken fried rice, and I was not disappointed at all! The dish was absolutely delicious! The flavor, the texture, the heat, perfect. I will be running back for more very soon!
I love this place. It's really tasty and the service is nice. I've been here twice and both times the food was perfect. The ramen broth, you'd wish it never ends. The takoyaki is crunchy soft, piping hot fresh. They serve soft drinks and beer. The staff is super friendly and the place looks cute. A great first date place for sure.
Very tasty Ramen and service is good. Portions are large! Bring your appetite. Great for a cold night, hot and delicious. I get the Vegetable raman. Friday nights are busy, just be sure to put your name on the list as you walk in. There are outside tables/seating also. This location is in the Torrance Crossroads by the Home Goodsvand Home Depot. Very convenient and therecare other restaurants close by also.
This will always be my favorite Ramen spot...it was also my first. The Garlic bomb Ramen is sooooo good...just know your breath will be on fire afterwards. Service is fantastic...food is PHENOMENAL...prices are great. Lots of options. ICE cold beers. Huge shopping center parking lot. Go and get yourself on the legend board!
I have been there 3 times in the last 2 weeks, what a gem! Service and food are amazing. Small, strip mall storefront, so not much atmosphere, but they had lovely Christmas decorations which helped the overall feel. Lunch specials are plentiful and reasonably priced. First time I had the Shacho Ramen, spice level 2 with the Pork Shumai. Had the same Ramen the next time, level 3, still great taste and just the right amount of heat. Last visit I had the lunch special Curry Ramen with Chicken Karage and had the Chashu Don rice with it. Everything was delicious. I used to come here for the Mongolian BBQ ( no longer available) but never tried the Ramen and now I regret it. I will be a regular customer from now on.
This is one of my favorite local ramen spots! Convenient location, lots of parking, delicious, well made food, and friendly staff. I enjoy coming here solo or w/ friends & family. My go-to dish is the garlic bomb, but everything on this menu is fantastic—I really love their lunch special, too. Ramen for the soul in a cozy spot, Ko-Ryu is the place!
Don't underestimate this ramen shop! We've been here a couple of times now, and we are from the Inland Empire - worth the trip both times! In this visit, we had chicken wonton ramen and seafood ramen. Super friendly staff who are attentive and take time to explain the ramen dishes. Our appetizer and ramen bowls were served quick, within 5 minutes of ordering. We wish this shop was closer to where we live. 🍜😋🥟
When I lived in Torrance for 5 yrs I never came here. Today being my first time here, I could kick myself for sleeping on this place for so long. Everything is delicious. They have the Best fried rice I've ever eaten anywhere hands down. Garlic Bomb Ramen, traditional ramen.
I used to order from here weekly when I lived and worked in the area. Now I find a way to get it anytime I'm visiting LA. Some of the best ramen.
Love checking out new Ramen restaurants and this place is a gem. The wifey had the Garlic Bomb, I had the Chashu in spicy miso level 2 and an order of their Karaage. Everything was delicious and authentic tasting. Service was excellent and the food came out in less than 5 minutes upon ordering. We will return and check their other items on the menu.
Excellent ramen. This time I choose the Garlic Bomb with spicy miso broth, it did not disappoint! The last time--first time I dined here, I chose the traditional ramen with miso broth, that too was euphoric to my palate!
You know it's good when the place is always busy. Good quality Ramen bowls with a lot of different varieties to choose from. To go is available if you need to, but it's never the same when it's packed separately and put back together at home. They expanded into the restaurant next door so there is plenty of seating inside now.

Service was great ladies there were very welcoming. Food was delicious my 10 year old son had the kids shoyu he loved it definitely kid friendly. Shrimp Fried rice could have been cooked a bit more but Great flavor. Only thing I would change is the AC temp I love a cold room but we had to go back home to get a sweater for my son and scarf for myself to be able to eat more comfortably. When we got back they were closing already the kitchen closes at 9/9:15. We will go back :) thank you

I didn't give 5 stars only because I've now had two instances (consecutive) where add-on items have been left out of the final order. Two times, I've ordered and PAID for extra noodles, but they don't make it into the bags before they are handed to me when I pick up my orders. During the most recent time, I even mentioned it to the person handling my order and I was assured everything was there. Not so much... The food is great but some additional focus needs to be placed on checking for accuracy before giving orders to customers.
We had Ramen and it was delicious! Nice size portions, and you have the option to request less sodium for those that worry Ramen can be too salty. Will be coming back.
Delicious ramen! The broth was rich and creamy and so savory. Incredible flavor and perfectly garnished with simple toppings. Garlic, green onion, pork. The meat melted in your mouth. Everything was so good, wonderful meal. The gyoza was ok, nothing great. The ramen was wonderful. Service was slow and hard to get their attention, and drinks refilled. But the atmosphere was nice, clean, and the ramen was soo so good!!
This location was really cold, but the ramen was a perfect meal to warm up! My husband tried the spicy level 3, and said it was the perfect level of spice for someone who enjoys a decent amount of spice. I tried the Chasu Ramen with the miso broth! The miso was delicious and had a lighter flavor than most other places, which I personally enjoyed! There was also a deal on 1/2 off appetizers! We tried the gyoza and they were delicious too! Will definitely return!
Well this ramen joint is a bit different than your traditional Japanese ramen places. They do have the basics of the Japanese ramen but they add some flavors from Korean cuisines. So the soup base are similar to Japanese ramen but there are some different spices and flavors. Noodles could have been added when it didn’t clump up but it wasn’t a deal killer. Will need to try other dishes to grade higher.
One of our goto ramen places in Torrance. Pretty consistent good quality gyoza and ramen. For a lighter taste, I’d recommend basic miso koi ramen or chashu ramen if you are hungry. For stronger flavor, try the garlic bomb! I like my ramen a little softer so I usually ask them to cook a little more, my family likes it more chewy so they like how it’s normally served.
The staff is friendly. Parking is easy. The vegetarian ramen is okay. The broth is nice and creamy, but it's basically just cabbage and noodles. It lacks a lot of substance. It could use some rare hardboiled eggs, seaweed, bamboo, or corn. The chashu ramen was okay. It had a variety of toppings, and the broth had flavor, but it only came with one slice of chashu. The price is okay for the portion, which is quite large. Overall, I've it's okay but not the best.
The taste of their ramen is pretty decent. We ordered Koi Cream Ramen and it was not bad. Pork was a little bit chewy and dry, a bit plain but overall it was good. Honestly it tastes like a homemade ramen from simple ingredients but not like a ramen from the restaurant. It was good for one time. Nice and tasty overall
Mom and I visited to have a try of their ramen. I got the Koi Ramen spice level 3 (wasn't spicy at all) and my mom got the seafood ramen. I thought mine was decent. I finished mine and left satisfied although I wish the broth had a better flavor. The seafood ramen was good. The broth was on the sweeter side. My mom hated it cuz she had the best ramen from Japan and can't help to compare her experience to places here in the US. Its just not comparable. Overall, this is a good spot if you are craving ramen in the area.
Cute lunch spot with delicious ramen & friendly staff. Will definitely go again. I would give 5 stars but appetizers came after ramen. Otherwise a must for ramen!!
Delicious, savory, big bowl of ramen ❤️ very fullfilling. Fast Service. Good value for your money. The parking is a bit tricky, there's always a lot of cars and no spaces left. Inside the restaurant is pretty hot, I think They do Have AC but is not enough to cool down a bit the place.

They allow dine-in now! The shacho ramen had nice flavor and a generous thick slice of pork chashu. I wish there were more veggies in it, but it was mostly just a giant bowl of noodles with a few bits of bean sprouts and some tiny bits of ground pork. Adding vinegar in the broth gave it a tangy kick. The gyoza was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. The chashu don was a bowl of rice with meat and egg on it. Definitely very filling. Service was nice. Plenty of parking in the shared lot.

This place had very good noddles but in my vegetarian noodles with no egg I found a broken egg shell which is a major health concern because it could damage a lot things in your body and the manager didn’t really care but gave me 20% off which means nothing to me when it comes to safety. I would not recommend this place to no one else do carelessness in kitchen.
The service is rude. Despite their food being good, they need to retrain their staff. They never smile and one time they even chased me down to demand why I did not leave a tip and that I should just order takeout next time instead of dining in. That experience left me dumbfounded and I have never returned since. Luckily their other locations are much nicer.
I have been a regular customer for over year but the service and servers have been so rude that I can’t even enjoy the food anymore. An older man on June 11 took our order. He had a thick accent so it was harder to understand him. We didn’t want to be rude or discriminate so we just pointed what we wanted in the menu and said exactly how it is in the picture. We couldn’t understand him but again just repeated our order. When our food came it was completely wrong and we asked another server who spoke english better what we wanted. She was also very hostile, our original server came and started making a scene and being very rude to us. He eventually made us feel not welcomed in the restaurant. Overall, if you don’t care how you’re treated I guess this would be the place for you.
Terrific ramen, but sadly I'll never eat there again. Hours are ridiculous. Showed up 45 minutes before closing (2:30 PM) to empty restaurant. Told I had to sit at bar. Asked for one of the empty tables. Was told "no, just sit at the bar. We are closing soon."
