As a former Starbucks shift supervisor i tend to notice things and I was impressed by this Starbucks! They were clean even though the store was busy and we notified a barista they were running low on tp in the women's restroom and they were in to fill it in less than a minute! Drinks were made well also! Good job guys! I appreciate you for being so great in spite of all the labor cuts!
It is honestly amazing how loud everything here is. The main door fan is louder than the music and Constant being activated. The female bathroom door hinges scream like a banshee. The cheap bathroom hand drying fans are louder than the loudest blender I've ever heard. It's only kind of busy in here by comparison to a normal starbucks in a city and I can't even hear them calling names over all this. It is really impressive how bad these make the place.
Because this Starbucks is located on a very busy interstate route, it's often very busy and very crowded. Despite that, the staff is very friendly, and then get you out with your order as quickly as possible. Pro tip: if you want to avoid the long lines place your order ahead of time with the Starbucks app on your phone.
Great place to stop and relax in the outdoor seating after a long drive off I-5. Plenty of restaurants, gas stations and even shopping available near this Starbucks. It was very busy when we stopped by but the crew was very efficient and polite to expedite every customers orders. Also note that not all items available in store were not available on the Starbucks app menu, so you might just have to place your order at the counter instead of the app.
Great staff and manager. Someone in our party lost their wallet and we thought it was stolen. Manager Martin Rojo and his staff were wonderful, kind and helpful. They gave us water and a place to sit and sort things out and helped us to file a police report. Came to find out later the wallet was still in our possession. Embarrassed but grateful for the nice people at Starbucks, Arvin CA.
The atmosphere was clean, nobody loitering, and the staff was very helpful and kind.
Just writing this review because I believe I left my wallet there on my way up north from LA. I am not getting through when I call the store. My matcha latte was great yesterday (5⭐️) but I’m just trying to get into contact with someone who works there who might be able to contact me regarding whether or not my wallet was found. I was there on 7/27 around 7pm. I don’t have the ability to drive there as I live in Northern Ca. Called corporate and they said there’s nothing they can do- they told me to go back to the store (I live 7 hours north). Please respond to my review so I can provide you with an adequate way to contact me. Thank you.
Dylan is my new best friend he was so fun and kind made the experience a 10 out of 10. I was only getting a grilled cheese and he made it so fun and was so so so nice.
Starbucks always delivers on quality and ease of service! My favorite coffee shop! If you able to go inside, check out their sale items because you can usually find an amazing price on a cup or gadgets.
4/23/2024 6am I was reading the reviews on my way to the location. The location seems to be a hit or miss with customers. The bad reviews received replies, from the owner, as if the owner doesn’t even visit the store and is remote. I also didn’t get a hint of assurance about making improvements. Having read the reviews…I decided I’d try the place anyways. I was going to make sure to visit the restroom, since its condition will validate how the store truly operates. When I arrived I was greeted in the typical Starbucks manner. I noticed three employees were visibly working and two customers had just walked out. I was alone, at this point. I placed my order, and it was promptly made. My visit went well.
Th shop is clean and nice. We ordered 7 drinks but for some reasons one of them one missing. Even tho the worker said that she made it, the gave me new one, because we assume that someone by accident took our order. But overall it was great experience and we had nice breakfast inside!
Customer service was acceptable, outstanding and a top rated as other locations. This facility was clean organized and they made my drink to the perfection. Thank you, Starbucks.
Been there alot times they are having good stuff
The food is always consistent with other Starbucks locations. My drinks are always made correctly at this location the barista’s know me my name and are always greeting me with a smile on my way to work!
Sam took care of us and she was amazing super funny. I asked about the Hello Kitty merchandise and she was able to show us and we were able to merchandise. Since we were traveling her personality showed and brightened up our day.
I live in Los Angeles but often visit San Francisco. This is my second time at this store, and every visit makes me feel right at home. The staff are warm and welcoming, giving me the comfort of being back home. Highly recommended!
Consistent like every other Starbucks which is good if you're unfamiliar with the area. There are times when I want a Starbucks coffee. Personally I am handicapped and prefer a good drive thru. If you want atmosphere it is what one would expect. Excellent service and coffee that tastes like you expect it to.
The service was great, stopped here twice, the first time the girl that helped me had a great attitude, pleasant enjoyed her vibe. The second time it was a different person, nice still but the first one was refreshing! I don't really like Starbucks, to me their coffees are over priced, the quality does not equal the price, I wish I knew the girl's name, she made the difference in my review!
Very convenient location along high way 5. We usually stop here on our trips from SF to LA. Just about where we can fill up the tank for the car, and get coffee. This location is extremely busy recently. Twice I placed mobile orders when I pull off the high way, and took about 20 minutes to get the order. So plan ahead.
The staff is courteous and nice. This is not the worst Starbucks but could be cleaned up. This Starbucks has a lot of foot traffic but there is trash everywhere. The men’s bathroom had trash on every standing stall as well.
Line for everything, to use restroom, order coffee and wait long time for getting it prepped and getting in hand. Instead stop at Bakersfield or ahead. Waste of 45 minutes seriously. After Starbucks owners reply to my review, I changed from 1 star to 4 star review as you got Excellent team working out there. They’re friendly and respectful to each other whilst working and as per my observation standing in line waiting for the order fulfillment.
Geez so many 1 star reviews… it’s starbucks not the French Laundry. Most people giving bad reviews are probably just tired from driving. This location was sold out on a lot of items but not a big deal.
This starbucks is next to the freeway 5 on the way to Sacramento. The service was faster than expected and I even saw the cashier helping someone, that was using the cell phone to place the order, very nicely and patient. I like that very much as it is good customer service. Nice coffee but the downside was that the restroom could be way better. Needed paper in one of them and the floor needed more attention.
It has the usual amenities you expect from Starbucks. I was disappointed at the limited number of power outlets, a usually strong point of Starbucks. There were in fact no normal height tables near outlets and only two small round top high tables with power outlets. I found the use of the high table uncomfortable for my seven year old granddaughter and me using and charging a laptop and tablet with drinks. This location is near the Tejon Ranch Outlet Mall.
Friendly, and efficient -- does the job! Good pitstop choice
The location itself is nice, but drink wait times were longer than expected. I initially asked another employee for help, but the situation didn’t seem to move forward. However, I want to specifically recognize Salvador for going above and beyond. He immediately noticed my drink had been delayed and stepped in without hesitation. He was proactive, attentive, and genuinely kind you can tell he takes pride in his work.
My family and I were going to Ventura CA, we popped in to grab coffees, snack, and use the restrooms. The breakfast sandwiches were good, the guy who took my order was so nice. I went to the restroom and realized I forgot 1 of my drinks so I had to wait in line to order it. The young man remembered my name and what I had just ordered but I told him I forgot one. While we stood and waited for our order, some other people who had walked in and were waiting for their order also, jumped right in front of us. When they called my name I picked up the first part of my order, and stepped back out of the way. Several people walked up and were super rude. Just hate that people are so rude
Busy Starbucks with drive through- plenty of parking available. Employees try their best to address the orders and does a good job at it - thank you. Ordered their Oleato coffee and it was not as expected when originally tried from one of their Starbucks Roasters location. Perhaps a bit more practice. The matcha 🍵 is as expected.
Took a long time getting my order. I had to ask if my cafe mocha was ready. When I finally got it the cup was messy. Coffee dripping on the side and was all over the lid. Had to ask for cup sleeve coz it wasn't served with it.
I had a wonderful experience at this particular locations. The 4 baristas working behind the bar, were fast with completing a long list of orders, and they were having a lot of fun back there. As well as entertaining the costumers. Great group of people.
Bring your patience. Came the Sunday after Thanksgiving and of course they are busy. Mobile orders take 20+ minutes and if you order in person the line is out the door. When we came only 5 people were working to manage mobile orders, walk-ins and a drive through. Seems understaffed for the highest travel day of the year. However, I will say the staff were busting their chops to pump things out. I hope the people receive a holiday bonus as they are helping people travel safely.
Your average everyday Starbucks. Besides the fact the restrooms were filthy and had no toilet paper. I ordered the spinach feta wrap and the turkey breakfast sandwich and both were cold. Expect to wait roughly 15 minutes for your order. But that’s typical wait time for Starbucks. The drinks we ordered were very well done and enjoyed them very much. I just wished the restroom was as clean as the rest of the building.
The wait time for a single coffee was 30 minutes, marking the longest duration I've experienced for this service. Additionally, the subsequent orders that were taken after ours also added to the overall delay, leading to a less than satisfactory experience.
We ordered an iced coffee and the guy at the counter taking our order was just standing there staring at me while I was ordering. He was coming off a bit rude. He was wearing a hat, he was somewhat petite in height and build. Bathrooms were dirty and toilet paper was out. It was rather busy at that time. I get it you work for Starbucks but I don’t need the attitude. ✌️
The staff was nice, welcomed everyone entering establishment. The service was fast. But the coffee was not good. It had absolutely no flavor. First time that's actually happened in any Starbucks! We were already back on the freeway when we realized it..
😩 my macchiato was basically just milk and caramel sauce. I always have a macchiato so I know how one made right should taste. It was hella dirty. And I mean dirty. I've been to this location many times and never experienced it like that. And the grilled cheese was burnt and lopsided. Should've took a picture but was with a client.
I'm sure this was not their normal service, but I have to give honest feedback. We stopped here while travelling through CA on the day before New Year's eve, so it was pretty busy. The cashiers were super friendly, but the baristas were clearly in a bad mood. I'm sure this was due to the volume of customers, though. Quite often customers ahead of us had to keep asking for missing drinks and/or receiving the wrong drink, which only slowed the process. We waited 30 minutes for a caramel frappucino after receiving and finishing our two other hot drinks. When we finally got it the ice was melted and was just not that enjoyable. Especially given the frustration of waiting for so long.
Its Super Bowl Sunday. Drive thru line was empty. I placed a mobile order. Order would be ready at 1:34pm. I walked in to pick up order at 1:36pm. Inside store was lonely. I ordered 3 drinks and 1 cake pop. 2 drinks were Frappuccinos. All 3 drinks were ready. The Frappuccinos had no whip cream. I asked nicely if they could add whip cream. The Barista fixed the drinks. I asked for 2 straws and a carrier and reminded her about the cake pop. It was 1:56pm and I was still standing there waiting on cake pop, 2 straws and carrier. The Baristas were going on with their day cleaning and re-stoking and helping the few costumers that would walk in. Finally the same Barista that had helped me asked me again what was I waiting for. I reminded her I was still waiting on the cake pop.
Disappointed... 😞 We were unable to order drinks at the counter inside. We were instructed by the staff that, they were only accepting drive thru orders And the drive thru line was "a mile long" not literally but way too long to for me to wait. Maybe they were short of staff and that's why they were limited on counter service but it was a bummer either way. I went to In&Out burgers for my Iced tea, as it turned out that I was a little hungry 😋 too so it worked out for me and mine in the long run.
There were fruit flies absolutely everywhere, on the windows, flying around, and even inside the glass box with all the showcase food. Trash all over even in the employee work space. It was very busy and took about 20 minutes to get a simple drink.
If I ordered a Carmel latte how could someone forget to add the Carmel? It's important to get the order correct especially when a customer is traveling and utilizing drive thru. I was truly disappointed. The latte was watered down hot water. I'm afraid this particular Starbucks missed the mark. The service was quick but not appreciated if the order is not correct . Friendly drive thru staff.
I ordered a venti Vanilla Cream Cold Brew, but they made it in the wrong order—pouring the cream first and then the coffee. It tasted so weird. And on top of that, I had to wait 20 minutes!
There were at least 6 people working when I stopped in at 2:30 on a Sunday. I opted to go inside rather than using the drive through. They were very busy with drive through orders and it took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone. I ordered a pistachio cold brew. 3 minutes later, they call my name and say they have run out of cold brew. Gotten an iced coffee instead, didn’t want to wait for a refund.
I recently visited this Starbucks location and had a mixed experience. The staff were absolutely amazing - friendly, attentive, and doing their best to keep up with the demanding pace. However, the store was severely understaffed, leading to extremely long wait times and a chaotic atmosphere. This shortage also seemed to impact the cleanliness of the store, which was unfortunately the dirtiest Starbucks I've ever had the misfortune of visiting. I strongly suggest that Starbucks considers hiring more employees to ensure that customers receive the level of service and hygiene they deserve.
This Starbucks was filthy! The tables, floors and area where the batista prepared the drinks were all very dirty. The employees looked unkempt and the bathroom was just as horrible. Very unpleasant experience. It took 30 mins to get our drinks and it wasn't that busy.
There were 3 people behind the counter working but the priority was obviously for the people in the drive through. Going in to the shop there was a ~5 min wait between taking each customer’s orders as the food was being made for people outside. There were only 3 groups of single individuals or couples inside, it wouldn’t have been hard to take everyone’s orders at once or closer together. If you are going to come I would 100% recommend doing the drive through since they’ll be forced to efficiently take your order
It’s not the employees fault, but this Starbucks is suuuuuper crowded cause of all the i5 traffic. The drive thru line is 45 min long, and the wait time even inside can be 30-45 min long. I’d strongly urge customers to just buy coffee at a grocery store beforehand or at a non coffee-shop like McDonald’s to save the time. Simply not worth waiting this long. Or, Starbucks should consider doubling or tripling their infrastructure here
Horrible experience. They went out of order when it was super busy. Dropped about 16 drinks on the floor. We waited 45 minutes for just one latte and a sandwich and left before we could even get the sandwich. Everyone was rude, unorganized and sloppy.
Worst Starbucks Experience of my life. We ordered inside and watched the chaos. The drive through orders went to inside customers and inside orders were going outside. People came inside from the drive through to get their coffee remade as it was wrong. We waited and waited and never did get our coffee. We asked about the order and get one coffee but the other never appeared. The lady ahead of us went to the counter twice and asked where her order was. We finally just left and we wouldn't stop at this Starbucks again.
20 minutes for 2 coffees. I had 1 new guy take my order. He was decently fast trying to find where things were. I waited about 15 mins before i got my first drink, I asked for a hot drink to be warm and had to return it because it was hot. The look in their eyes told me they are used to not having to correct orders. My 2nd drink was a Venti blonde roast, when they corrected the first order I reminded them about my 2nd coffee and again, i got that look of stupidity. One girl said, we aren't serving that right now (they do serve it but were lazy to make it) and goes on to blame the new person who took my drink. At this point i was about to throw hot coffee at someones face and just told them to give me anything. Lots of waiting time here because they are busy joking around on their head sets that they aren't paying attention to order details. Bathrooms were nasty, felt dissapointed to be represented by these latinx poor performance.
This time was the longest I waited at any Starbucks location. For having only 8 cars in front of me it took nearly an hour to get my drink and I am not exaggerating. Once I got my drink it was not even good. I ordered Venti Mocha frappuccino and I think I just got chocolate milk. Not going back here.
After ordering our items in the drive thru we were forced to wait 40 minutes! They didn't meet the sla Starbucks standard that you wait 1 minute after ordering or it's free! On top of that the latte had a poor taste followed by a worse aftertaste. Rather than receiving a bad experience I would recommend driving, walking, etc. a little extra to get your coffee at a Starbucks which delivers good coffee in time!
This is a hugely over-visited understaffed location. The trash can as you walk in was overflowing by two feet, and the room was full of dead eyed customers waiting on orders. The bathroom was out of supplies, a mess and toilet roll holders broken. We don't expect much from a Starbucks, but this one needs to staff up quite a bit. Take care of your workers, attract more and the above issues will improve.
Horrible design that outcasts customers that do not have the application and are unable to use the drive-thru. The location does not provide you with the ability of ordering inside, it is drive through and mobile order only. I should not be forced to use the application to be a customer. My work vehicle does not fit in the drive through so please consider the working class like me who drive big vehicles and don't want to use the app. Thank you for your time.
Never waited for 30mins just to get one drink. Employees were prioritizing mobile orders and drive through over the 10 people still waiting inside for their drinks. Either hire more employees or retain employees that will keep up the Starbucks brand name.
I drive trucks and usually stop here for my morning coffee. Service is usually fine but this morning I was shocked at the attitude and service of all 3 ladies. No greeting and everyone's mood was super rude. I was even given attitude for asking for a top for my cup. Won't be back here.
They would not let let me use my own cup as it had coffee in it from earlier today. It was just coffee grinds. Plus, I was in line for 30 minutes just to order. Girl said she could not rinse cup out for me. Starbucks does not offer organic coffee or organic options. My family's order tool 1 hr to complete.
Young lady myself order starbucks and hello who the heck closes the bathroom an hour before they close? and second of all, i asked kindly to the woman in the glasses with short brown hair asking “can i get a straw please?” and she didn’t even look at me and said “yeah can you” like what the, i will not tolerate that behavior i will next time gladly take the whole cup of straws.
Well obviously my order was wrong. But want compels me to warn you all is the foul sanitary nature of the establishment, It's disgusting Bathrooms full of litter and trash that spills all the way into the seating area and I can clearly see puddles of coffee and creamer where the baristas are working, that takes multiple days of not sweeping or cleaning to get like that For the sake of your health, don't order
Customer service was not upto the mark requires more professional approach. Cautious review for the wastage of the food.
(Dine in / Take out ) After waited for more than 30 minutes we noticed the drive through customers getting prioritize than us, we ( other inside customers) decided to cancelled our orders. Manager (Jonathan) got more excuses than resolving the situation. This place totally disorganized. Get your coffee somewhere else.
It was only 7am, bathrooms were a mess and had no toilet paper. Pre-ordered in the app 15 minutes before arriving and still waited an additional 20minutes for my drink while people kept coming in and out. Baristas we’re rude when asked if my order was ready, as if I was an inconvenience. Place was not crowded, so I’m guessing my drink was just not “easy” and brushed aside. My sandwich was cold which just made it worse by the time I actually got my drink. The bar was a mess, spills everywhere and highly disorganized crew… can’t imagine what it looks like when it’s actually busy! Save yourself a headache and go to the Starbucks on the other side of the freeway, even with 20+ people waiting for drinks during peak hours they are polite and efficient.
The store was full of customers and order ahead drink order for 1 took 20 minutes (13 minutes past the pick-up suggested time) while the drive-through line was moving along just fine outside. The bathroom was small and completely dirty.
After standing in a long line and ordering $50 in drinks and sandwiches, I got my order to find they forgot 2 items. I asked and the man gathering orders talked to the cashier who said she didn’t ring me up for them. I asked if he could ring me up quickly and he said no I would have to wait in line again. The line was quite long again so I said “well I already ordered them, she just forgot.” He replied “you’ll have to stand in line like everyone else.”
Over the years I've been to countless Starbucks locations, but *never* have I visited a store where I felt disrespected by an employee. The manager (or shift supervisor?) could best be described as power tripping. To their credit, everyone else working there seemed pleasant.
Way too slow! The service wasn't good either. They were doing my drink and left it here for 15 minutes to do other stuff like what 😭. When I asked for less ice they gave me attitude too. Just go to other starbucks
6am drive-thru food still frozen when we went back to get heated up dark hair girl with glasses was rude with attitude then when asked for ice in ice coffee because there was none gave more attitude and when done she yelled accross the store sarcastically said "thanks alot for leaving the ice." Didn't think that not using the whole cup of ice was a reason for rude attitude. Never had such rude treatment at any Starbucks ever.
When I walked in there was just a couple of people waiting. So I thought I would be out quick. I order 3 drinks and they gave me my drinks like about 7 minutes apart from each other. I waited for about 20 minutes for my drinks. Never have I waited that long. The lobby trash was over flowing where you couldn't put more trash.
See photo...that's what you get for an overpriced 20 ounce cup. COME ON STARBUCKS...FILL THE CUP UP!!! My wife's venti breakfast tea had only one tea bag.....all the other Starbucks serve two. Do your self a favor....use the Starbucks on the other side of the freeway across from Petro Travel Center. As long as you don't mind waiting till EIGHT A.M. for walk up.
I was just here last Wednesday the 18th and my phone was accidentally left there. I had used the restroom but my husband had used it right after so I am certain it was not left in the restroom. However I may have left it up at the counter where I had received my drinks. When I had called after locating it there and an employee supposedly checked all around and shortly after we called my phone mysteriously shut off. There for I can no longer track it. It was not busy in there and I’m certain now that it was one of the employees. So disappointed. I’m not sure why you would steal a phone now it is no longer in use. Just a device with parts.
WEEKEND ONLY REVIEW! This is the worse place to go to on the weekend. It is manned by teenagers and early twenties. Five people behind the counter talking and doing NOTHING. Ordered two drinks and two pastries. Three other customers in the store and our drinks came out and our pastries were not even started. Watched three of the five standing at the counter talking to one another and doing nothing. Nobody was in drive through and nobody else was in line. Instead of working on food orders or coffee, they just stood there talking. Coffees came out wrong and tasted horrible, pastries were alright for waiting an additional 4 minutes. This store needs to have the same dedicated employees on the weekend they have during the week. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STARBUCKS ON THE WEEKEND.
Stopped here on our road trip to get a quick coffee. Took 30 minutes to get one drink. Do not waste your time stopping at this location or you will be waiting forever. The staff doesn’t apologize or anything, they just offer a refund with an attitude. Several people got their money back and left.
Customer service was really bad, there was a girl working there with a really bad attitude. If she don't like working there she should look for something else. Also I order 2 caramel Frappuccino and it was the worst Fraps I had, they were not sweet it tasted like water. They really need to be talk to and let them know how important it is to treat customers with respect.
The employees are completely lost in here. 3 people that ordered after me have gotten their drinks and the manager is completely out of her element. This place needs a visit from a District Manager or Regional Manager asap. No hot sleeves for hot beverages so they are double cupping. This review was left while I waited for my drink. 8:49pm - Sunday the 24th of March. The staff desperately needs training.
I am a longtime Starbucks customer and former barista (when much younger). I have posted reviews less than five times; in the past 10 years; however, I experienced poor customer service and wanted to share my experience. I’d been waiting for my drink for several minutes after the completion of the rest of my order and asked to wait, which I did. Upon inquiring a second time, after a few more minutes, and given the not so courteous request to wait more. Despite mistakes or forgetting an order, focus on the customer experience would lead one to apologize for the wait rather than disdainfully looking at your customer as a nuisance. The baristas at this location could benefit from additional training.
Just tried to walk in and order at this location and we were told the cafe' is closed and to use the drive through. We told the lady that we walked here from across the street and that we are in a semi truck. She said they are short staffed and we could go to the one on the other side of the interstate. We saw at least 3 people working behind the counter. It is not always possible to drive to another location when in a commercial vehicle. Frustrated that we could not even order our drinks inside and that the lady was extremely dismissive.
Drive thru line was very long so we left the line to park and go inside. Ordered 2 peppermint lattes. Got back in the car to continue on our long drive. As soon as I took that first sip, it didn’t taste right. Looked at the sticker label and she rang us up for mochas instead of lattes. Not worth turning back so we just threw it away at the gas station stop. Saw other cars backing out of their drive thru line afterwards. I understand it can get busy but we shouldn’t have to wait in line for that amount of time. Over 10 minutes and the line did not move an inch, not exaggerating.
The worst Starbucks employees who are rude for no reason, condescending and mess up your orders. The employees go out of their way to disrespect you which I have never felt at a Starbucks before. Or even any coffee shop before. Do not waste your money coming here. Worst experience getting coffee of my life.
This store has the environment and space, but the staffs service was slow and bad. And the taste of my peppermint mocha is not the same to the other stores that I have.
I’ve been standing there for 30 minutes in such a terrible situation. I initially placed a mobile order with an estimated pickup time of 6 to 7 minutes. When I asked the girl if it would be ready soon, 25 minutes had passed and nothing was ready. Everyone who arrived after me had already left. I tried to get help again, but the second time she just told me she would be back. I was so frustrated that I told a guy to refund my order. You need to work on it better, girl!
I don’t know what’s going on here but if your a company offering coffee and moving at the speed of a sloth, you need to revisit your company creed. I swear, Starbucks is getting to slow
The app says they are open till 11:00, the outside says they are open 24 hours on the weekend. On the website it shows 4:30 till 10:00 pm through out the week. They should make it one way on both. I drive a tractor trailer and can't use the drive through, so it's difficult to find a Starbucks I get to. I'm not saying that they should cater to truckers, but they should make sure their open and closing times match on the app and the website.
I just spent $18 for rude service. She stuck her hand out the window with each drink, didn’t even look at us, and said NOTHING, I said thank you, nothing, I said thank you again and nothing. Rude generation. We don’t frequent Starbucks much and will consider not going at all. What happened to the great customer service you used to have. My husband went to the first Starbucks in Seattle, I guess you struggle with employing quality people
Waited for about 10 minutes at the register to order a cup of coffee. No one said they would be there in bit to take my order or even so much as look at me. The workers didn’t really seem to want to be there or said a word to each other . They looked like bummed out robots loving around as people that had already placed their order we’re asking if it would take much longer as they were waiting a long time for their items . I left and went to the McDonald’s next door where I was in and out in a flash.
Easily the worst Starbucks I’ve visited in recent memory. Table outside full of garbage. We were the only customers inside when we entered, but none of the four employees greeted us. One employee finally approached us at the register, and stared at us until I spoke, no “Hello” or “How can I help you?” offered. I asked if she could add a gift card to my app since the numbers had come off when I tried to reveal them. Again she just stared at us and then called someone else over to help. The food was fine (correct items and temperature). Iced chestnut praline latte had the domed lid for whipped cream but had only a tiny bit, as if the can had run out and they didn’t bother getting another one. No sleeve was offered for my Americano and it was hot enough to burn my hand halfway out to the car. When spending north of $40 for coffee, I would be appreciative if the drinks were made correctly and the employees didn’t seem apathetic. Pros: bathroom and inside of the store were clean (it was very early in the morning though), food was fine, ample parking. Unfortunately pros don’t outweigh the cons at this price point. My next time over the grapevine, I’ll stick to the Starbucks on Laval Road West.
The new remodel sucks. Used to be an enjoyable quiet atmosphere. Now the restrooms are smaller, there’s always a line and now with the sinks being outside the bathroom, all you hear are the air dryers. Can’t have a decent conversation with the party your with. The line for the register makes people have to crowd while in line. This store has lost my business. Not a pleasant experience after the remodel. The employees have more space than the customers.
