Great staff! Eclectic menu. Hominy soup!! Salads, burgers, fish, steak. It's all good...
Family Birthday party, great fun. Good service, very happy
Best restaurant on Cherry Street without a doubt.
A restaurant with well prepared food is a delight. The creative flair and flavors that Matt Kelly bring forward at Luckys are divine
The food is always awesome here and they have an excellent wine list. Ali the bartender will always put a smile on your face!
Cozy environment, friendly staff, delicious food and all at competitive and fair prices. Made for a wonderful Valentine's Day
Omg, Fish tacos amazing! Best server in Tulsa thank you Marissa for all your awesomeness.
Great food. Had the blue cheese Hamburg ($16). Great taste and expertly cooked.
One of my favorite places in Tulsa for brunch. Always great service and excellent food.
Not sure what to think of the place when I first got there. The food was excellent. The whole group loved it.
Very posh. Delicious food and options. Great service and delicious specialty cocktails.
Love to go to late lunch here. I always get the the trout po boy. Good iced tea as well.
One of my favorite restaurants for special occasions. Try the mashed potatoes with blue cheese.
Great food great service. French dip is what I had and it was excellent.
The best brunch in town, come see Darby at the bar!
Wonderful fun and delicious night! Definitely a unique experience!
Love the weekend brunch. My personal choice is to opt here over next door. There is no pretentious vibe here, and in addition to a very nice and interesting brunch menu, they also offer a few very unique brunch cocktails as well.
Great food. I had fish tocos. Very tasty. Food was so good my 5 year old grandson ate all his steak. Normally at that age Mac & Cheese is the only thing that gets knocked out.
Excellent food, cocktails, and wine list in a lovely atmosphere. A little pricey, but the portions are good. We split a meal, and were satisfied.
Went for brunch and ha d a great time. The waiter was very friendly and took care of us. We had cheesecake brownies with homemade vanilla ice cream and it was awesome.
Literally the best filet I’ve ever had. So smoked and grilled favored! Not too busy too so it was a quite atmosphere! I definitely want to come back!
Don't be deceived by the way the building looks. The food here is outstanding! Fresh-brewed iced tea, amazing sandwiches and great service. Love it here
The atmosphere was wonderful. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was fabulous. We would refer family and friends to Lucky's Restaurant.
I would rate Lucky's Restaurant with 5 stars. The food was delicious; the service was excellent; and all in all it was a pleasure to enjoy a marvelous dining experience.
Unexpectedly good. Had intended to try for years and finally my wife took me on my birthday. Her steak was excellent and my sea bass was light and crispy.
Lucky's is hands down the finest restaurant in Tulsa, they always have a warm smiling face to greet my family and I. From the minute you arrive to the moment you leave the elegance of this tiny restaurant will make you wonder why you ever went anywhere else. They're very few places in Tulsa that will bring out an actual fish knife when they serve fish. They can always find the beverage or food for your mood even if it's not on the menu. Lucky's is my go to spot especially when chef is making lamb and greens. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting money anywhere else.
Ive been to luckys several times since the new ownership and i am quite impressed! The food is better than ever, the atmosphere is amazing! And all the staff members are knowledgeable, professional and friendly! Id recommend lucky's to anyone looking for a fantastic fine dining experience.
Stopped in for a quick beverage while waiting for dinner guests to arrive. Was pleasantly surprised how cozy yet upscale this place is. Service was fantastic so was the cocktail. I'll return for the whole dining experience soon.
My wife made the reservations and I had looked at the menu online so I was all prepared to not like this place. I am often not a fan of restaurants with such an eclectic menu. However, it was not to be. The staff was so welcoming and friendly that it would be a hard place to not like. Our server was very helpful and perfectly attentive. My wife had the salmon and I had the pork chop, both grilled on their wood fired grill. Both excellent. We wish we would have had time to share the bread pudding, which we didn't really need, and will plan for that next time. The restaurant was not noisy which is a big plus in our books. A very enjoyable meal in a nice comfortable setting.
Great food! A little bit over priced but great food. I would definitely try something other than the steak. It is really good but some of the other menu items are unbelievable good. Great atmosphere, the lights are turned down low which makes it a great place for a romantic dinner.
Great food and cocktails! I recommend them over Smoke's. The bartender (Elena) is great! She takes good care of you at the bar. I couldn't have asked for a better bartender. She recommends the best entrees and cocktails. If I ever come back to Oklahoma I will definitely go to Lucky's for dinner.
Return of the Mac is the absolute best Mac n chz money can buy! I've tried to make it on my own, but it never quite compares. Other favorites are the waffle fries, burger, CUBAN, and their Moscow mule cocktails. My favorite restaurant downtown for games, groups and groovy music. I can't identify with the posts that the food is expensive, it's quite reasonable because of the generous portions. This is a must try!
Overall not bad. I had the chicken fried steak. Everything was good except I felt like the chicken fried steak, the actual steak part, was a little thin. Lots of breaking which I tend to expect but this steak seemed thinner than usual. Nice service and tasted good. Just wanted more of it.
Pork chop was bomb! Chicken fried steak wasn't that tasty tho. Pretty bland. Pork chop...full of flavor.
Great food but it helps if you make a reservation. Doesn't open until 11am on Sundays.
French fries not good. Good service, variety menu. Liked the restaurant
Great service and drinks. Food leaves much to be desired, especially for the price.
Quaint and upscale spot on Cherry St. Great for brunch or dinner.
They have some of the best chicken fried steak I've ever had. The wait staff were all friendly, and while the food is a bit pricy, it was otherwise a good experience.
The menu is almost as eclectic as the decor which is all well and good but coupled with a very unattractive exterior, Lucky's feels like its struggling with an identity crisis. With that being said, I still enjoy the food, but the theme & decor could stand revisiting. At $15-20+ per plate, you feel alittle cheated by the atmosphere but the food is usually worth it.
I have been to brunch 3 times and all three times it was good, but there are better places for brunch for the price.
A bit overpriced, food was bland and very weak beer selection. There are much better places very near by.
Sad to say this restaurant is no longer what it once was. Used to be my favorite place to grab brunch in town. Since the new owners took over, too much has changed. They are trying too hard to appeal to everyone and have lost their focus. The menu looks the same, but the food's not executed anywhere close to the same level. I'm guessing the turnover in the back of house was as radical as it appears in the front of house, and now nobody knows how to make the food correctly.
Service and wait staff were friendly. Didn't expect to pay so much for some grilled chicken which tasted a little bland ($22) and chicken fried steak, good tasting but small quantity ($20). Not only did I leave hungry but so did my wife and that never happens. I could have eaten both plates of food. I expect more for the price.
I do like the atmosphere at Lucky's, and the fact that it's not nearly as crowded as other restaurants on Cherry St. are for lunch is good for the customer, but not so lucky for Lucky's. I had the French Dip, and I can honestly say that a French Dip from Arby's is better. For what I paid at Lucky's, I could have had two from Arby's, which is what I'll do next time. I should add that other than soup or salads, the French Dip, at $8.50, is one of the cheapest lunch items on the menu. I would definitely try Lucky's again if I were willing to pay $13,50 or even $18, which is what they get for some lunch items.
This used to be a typical go to restaurant of our family for several years. We were out later than usual one particular evening and decided to grab a last minute meal and quickly decided on Lucky's given our past experience. The staff has always been a great aspect to the consistently great food. Unfortunately, the wait was much longer than usual and after quite a bit of wait the staff informed my mother that her order of salmon was not meeting the kitchen's standard. We also found out that we would have to wait additional time as they offered her some additional options. Our food arrived and most of our orders were acceptable, but below our typical expectations of Lucky's. However, my son ordered a hamburger where I would say the meat was sub par. Could not determine if it was almost on the verge of spoiling, or just not made from a good cut of beef. We found out later that Lucky's changed ownership, and not sure if this is the reason or there has been a dramatic change in the kitchen staff. Regardless, this will be our last visit to this restaurant. Quite disappointing given the great memories we have created at Lucky's in the past.
Our 1st time to eat at Luckys Restaurant. The service was good, no waiting but took a long time to get food. Everything looked great! Here is the problem, I ordered a chicken fried steak & eggs, my wife ordered a French Dip sandwich. I ordered eggs over easy, I got scrambled, my Spanish fries were cold and the rest of the food was barely warm! My wife's sandwich was barely warm, the au jus was cold and she ordered the sandwich without any horseradish but 1/2 of the sandwich had it on it, must have thought about it while it was being made! On the good side, her fries and my chicken fried steak were delicious. Wish we would of had a better 1st time experience, I doubt we ever go back!
Big mistake. I gave them my credit card, made reservations for 4, left a generous tip (25%) and found that only 3 could make it. Repeated attempts to get them to reduce the bill to 3 people failed and I was overcharged by $125. Don't give them your credit card and look for another restaurant.
The ribeye steak was not a ribeye, and very gristly. I bought better steaks at walmart honestly. Also the foie gras was literally a piece of fat cut from steak and blackened on their grill with sugar. I don't know who they think they are fooling with this but they were not fooling me. Cocktail drinks watered down, and the best part that lets you know this is a sub parr restaurant is the paper covering the table as if you're at a crummy place that is too cheap to wash their table clothes. This place will be closed in less than a year don't waste $42 on they're $5 steak outback is way more worth it!
I will never eat here again! One star is more then this place deserves. The steaks were no better then what you would get at Western Sizzlin but at 4 times the price. The foie gras was a total waste of $14. The service was very inattentive and when I spoke to the manager the next day, his attitude was one of a person who could care less about the very expensive but poor dining experience with an economy restaurant taste. I recommend avoiding at all cost. There are plenty more high end restaurants in Tulsa where you will not be disappointed.
