We love this place. I always order off of the menu instead of from the ready to order counter. Our food is always fresh and hot! I ordered the Chicken Mei Fun and Fried Dumplings (both pictured). Even when you dine in the food is served in to go containers, which is perfect, because you will always have leftovers. They have nice clean bathrooms as well.

I’m visiting Tyler for business. I decided to stop here to eat for the first time, I have to say that the food is awesome. I ordered a 3 entree plate to go. I have to say that I am glad that I decided to eat here. They give you a lot of food and the prices are pretty cheap. Thank you so much. Whenever I am in Tyler, I will definitely stop here to eat. The aquarium is very nice too.

I don't normally give reviews but I'm glad I don't pay any attention to those posting reviews with no reasons why they gave 1 star so I just ignore those posts! I ordered pans of food for a birthday party, orange/Teri/mushroom chicken, vegetable fried rice, vegetable rolls, crab Rangoon, egg foo young and it was DELICIOUS‼️‼️ The flavors were ONO and everyone wanted to know where I got this food from. The pans were FULL, the order was ready on time and the owner made special arrangements so we could pick it up early. We ate there a couple of days before my big order, the people are friendly and the restaurant is clean. This is my new place to go to for Chinese food!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

My 1st time here: Fresh 🔥 food being served, portions are huge! I had enough food for 3 servings-so take someone with you and share a plate. Great customer service ➕ it's clean..... 👍👍👍👌Good choice

Really good Chinese food, some days it’s definitely better than others

I went into China Star Express& Grill with no expectations at all. I was hungry and diabetic so I was just looking to fill my belly and get back on the road. The place was very clean and not busy. The food is served cafeteria-style and looked very fresh! I was very surprised that you could choose to pass on the rice or noodles and get steamed vegetables instead! My diabetes thanks you!! I got the sautéed pork, green beans, an egg roll, and a bottled drink for a very reasonable price! I will definitely keep China Star in the rotation!

Was passing through after visiting a friend in town and had a hankering for noodles. I searched Singpore Mei Fun because U like to try the local takes on it whenever I have the opportunity. I like meat, so I got the mixed meat and, while the overall flavor was good, the texture of the beef kind of damped the enjoyment. I should have gotten the shrimp by itself, as it's my favorite part normally, and I'm used to places using pork in the mixed meat instead of beef. The beef was closer to what you would normally expect in beef & broccoli, a little too chewy to compliment the other textures in the dish (shoutout to my other ppl on the spectrum who deal with texture issues ✊️) Anyway, try the shrimp version of this, I'm sire that's the best one of the lot

It wasn't bad to be honest it felt like you took an Asian restaurant out of the mall and just opened up a small shot it was clean and the food was good but it wasn't anything impressive.

The food is pretty decent, I'm just upset at the sudden change of spicy orange chicken instead of the Regular Orange chicken flavor, they used to make it better back then, the orange flavor was very savory but now its all spicy to the point that you can't even enjoy the overall flavor.

Singapore Mei Fun the other day. General Tso's this evening. Both to order not on buffet. Clean dining room, friendly people. Okay to bring family. Will come again while in town.

The seaseme chicken was extremely hard and doesn't even taste like seaseme chicken. The eggrolls taste like the frozen ones from the store. I will say the greenbeans are great. The noodles are bland. Highly recommend not going. I do not understand how anyone likes this place.

This food was not good..it's like there was a jelly thick nasty coating on the beef. I brought my 13 yr old son home a plate and he threw it away. Wasted money for sure.

Paid $35 for food that was refrigerator cold, obviously leftover from yesterday. I was expecting a hot, freshly prepared meal and I left completely disappointed. Lo mein noodles....COLD! Mushroom chicken....COLD! Egg Rolls....LUKEWARM!

The owner or manager guy acted irritated that I got up and asked for a refill while he was sitting down. He's not friendly, most of the women employees are nice though.
