We arrived in Úbeda and went to eat at the best restaurant. They serve a small tapa with each drink, and then the main courses are quite large. It's a very pleasant and welcoming place. It's a shame we couldn't go back because we had to try other places.

Superb service from Lourdes who clearly knew her customers, her food and her wine. This restaurant is obviously a local favourite and we can see why. The clientele appeared to be local and discerning and on advice from Lourdes we enjoyed excellent food and very good wine recommendations. A must to visit in Úbeda, thanks.

The place is beautiful, and the atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful. The service was good. They offered us delicious homemade olives and two spring rolls. We ordered the cod scramble, the croquettes, and the vegetable and sirloin stir-fry. Everything was very good. We enjoyed the experience.

Good restaurant, the food is good. They give you a snack with your drink, so you can also go for a quick bite, as they have a bar area and high tables. As for the restaurant itself, the food is decent, although it's perhaps a tad expensive. The price isn't outrageous, but there are more affordable options. In short, a good place for a drink or a meal if you don't mind spending a little more, knowing that the food will be good.

To begin with, it was incredibly crowded and noisy. It's advisable to make a reservation, as we were lucky enough to get a small table for two by the bar and were able to eat there. I ordered cured pork loin with eggs and potatoes, which was very good, although for my taste there was way too much oil; it was dripping all over the pork. My mother ordered a salad of white asparagus with ham and tartar sauce, which she said was delicious. The portions and prices are quite reasonable. Also, if you ask for bread, they bring you a little basket of warm, white bread that's absolutely delicious. The waiters are constantly running around. Sometimes it's a bit difficult to get their attention, but generally they're attentive. The restrooms are quite nice, clean, and the toilet paper was freshly used.

I was there yesterday for lunch with my partner. The service seemed impeccable, and we had a couple of small appetizers to start (some olives and a fried prawn wrapped in filo pastry). Then we ordered two vegetable dishes and one meat and egg dish to share. After a long wait, the latter arrived. It was fine, nothing special, but cold. After another monumental wait, we received a plate of grilled artichokes that were still frozen inside. After sending them back to the kitchen, they didn't seem to consider serving us a priority. After quite a while, they brought us a cheese appetizer to make the wait more bearable. When we said we'd rather leave and wait longer, they grabbed the cheese and brought the bill in the blink of an eye. They apologized, saying the kitchen was very busy (the dining room was almost empty when we arrived) and that the frozen artichokes were something that "happened." Incidentally, the wine they opened in front of us wasn't at its best either. In short, they were only quick to take our money.

My first time in Úbeda, and with my drinks, I was expecting a tasty tapa, but instead, we were served a hard puff pastry wafer with some awful pâté. The portion of baby broad beans with ham was fine, but the half portion of eggplant tempura with honey was just fried batter. You couldn't see the eggplant. For what we ate, I thought it was very expensive.
