Came here to celebrate my mom's birthday-she'd been craving good Mexican food. She got Enchilada de Suiza, I got Enchilada con mole, dad got the combo plate with crunchy taco and enchilada, hubby got carnitas wet burrito verde. We also got the guacamole and they made it in front of us. I think the highlight of the meal was actually their house salsa and chips. Their salsa is one of the best I have ever tasted. It was slightly roasted/charred, has the perfect amount of spiciness and smokiness. We couldn't get enough of it! I'm not a big fan of mole personally- I ordered it because I had never tried mole before. To each their own I guess. The other dish were delicious, I like their salsa verde they put on the wet burrito and the carnitas was so flavorful. My mom also loved her enchiladas.

Came up from San Diego and this restaurant was highly recommended by my brother who lives near by. It did not disappoint! Very cut ambiance. All the paintings in the restaurant are absolutely gorgeous! The food was delicious! We had the table side guacamole, tortilla soup, a mole enchilada and the steak fajita salad. Nothing disappointed. My sister, my mom and I enjoyed every bit of it! Andres was our server and after a long day at the hospital crying all day for my brothers surgery he really lightened the mood and was so accommodating and friendly. His service was a compliment to the food. If we had Elvira’s in SD I would definitely be a regular customer!

My girl was craving taquitos and this place makes some really good taquitos, plus she order a big o strawberry margarita, I older a california chimi with some bomb sauce to go over it, and the staff was very attentive, and they chips and salsa were really good

Service was swift. Ordered grilled chicken quesadilla and taquitos and they were delicious. The quesadillas were some of the best, if not the best, I’ve had in SoCal. Salsa!

This was an excellent opportunity to savor authentic Mexican food... we first had a guacamole prepared fresh at the table for the four of us. it was delicious. I had the Flautas de Pollo and I often have this at other restaurants but here it was far exceeded my expectations. the flour tortillas we cooked but not dry and blended together in a smooth and tasty blend of flavors... SO GOOD... double YUM! WOW... service was excellent and I'm only sorry I don't live nearby. I will definitely make a point to stop here again when back to California. Thanks!

Excellent service delicious margaritas and mouth watering meals were the highlights of this restaurant. Pure deliciousness 3 combo plate with chili relleno enchilada and crispy taco. Beans and rice were perfectly seasoned and moist. Chicken cheese quesadilla was a nice choice from the appetizer section. We couldn't get enough of the chips and salsa.

First time there after seeing a review by someone on the Google Maps. It did not disappoint!!! I'm an absolute Mexican food junkie and this place hit the nail on the head!!! Being our first time, we shared a plate of the "Patron Fajitas." It came with steak, shrimp, chicken, rice, beans, pico de gallo, and guacamole. Our food was prepped to perfection. I just wanna know.whay do they season their Carne asada and chicken in. It was that good!!! The hubby ordered a Margarita which was $8 and very large and as he said, "this $#!+ is good right here!!!" I had a Corona, no biggie, lol. The restaurant was very clean. The music was piped in and added to the already nice atmosphere. The ladies were very nice and helpful with menu options. Overall a great experience and we will return!!!

lunch today was at Elvira's. i dined with my wife and 3 friends. the strawberry margarita was giant sized and delicious. i had the platon platter and the mrs. went with the chicken tostada. the portions were generous and all of the food delicious. there was a bit of a wait at the beginning but that is just a sign of how good Elvira's is. i will come back to try more of their delicious food.

I have been going to this restaurant for a long time and I have to say the food is excellent, probably the best Mexican food in the Inland Empire. But there is one problem, and that is the restaurant is not giving back people’s change. They try to take your change here. Every time you go here, you might not get your quarters or coins back. They might take them. I want to remind you all, that the food is great, but ask for your change coins back. Thank you, and this is my review of Elvira’s

This place was smaller and the Service seemed better. If I had to choose between the two I would go with Upland.

The food is partially authentic and partially Americanized Mexican. And if I have to be blunt it’s overpriced Mexican inspired American that’s missing the big Mexican flavors. I can’t even pick a place/region in Mexico 🇲🇽 to identify with one flavor. I think it’s 2 Stars but I want to be gentle on the workers who work very hard. I’d rather see real lettuce on the tostada and not iceberg. I saw a lot of people ordering fajitas but even this it does not make sense if this is real Mexican. Unfortunately, flavor and identity is a big deal. And simply the flavor here has an identity issue. The heartburn I got it’s a terrible revelation that good Mexican food has super flavors and it does not hurt like this 🤠
