A 1970s-style pizzeria and restaurant Unpretentious, but characterized by originality and the courtesy of the staff. In the evening, the pizzeria only served pizza, so we weren't able to try the traditional Bergamo cuisine. The wood-fired pizza is delicious. The prices are very fair, and there's plenty of parking nearby. Recommended, and I'll be back, perhaps for lunch.

Family-like hospitality; more than a restaurant, it felt like lunch at a friend's house. Traditional dishes you'd expect in a mountain setting. We ate a nearly commendable Savoy cabbage and a tender braised beef. More than fair pricing. Highly recommended for those who aren't interested in frills.

The "Da Fausto" restaurant/pizzeria, located in the small mountain village of Valcava at approximately 1,300 meters above sea level, is a 1970s-style restaurant overlooking the village square. Inside, you'll find a warm welcome and friendliness that will remain with you throughout your stay. You can enjoy typical Bergamo and mountain cuisine, as well as excellent pizzas, crispy and made with a light dough, homemade, as well as many of the desserts on the menu. You can wash it all down with an excellent craft beer or choose from a decent selection of wines. The only two drawbacks were the wait for the menus (the restaurant was still full, however) and the noise when there were large crowds. The restaurant is very popular, especially in the summer, so make reservations the day before or in the morning for the evening.

A homely trattoria, serving a few dishes but well-prepared in the finest Bergamo tradition. Located at over 1,000 meters above sea level, it offers a splendid view of the Brianza area, the pre-Alpine lakes, and Mount Resegone.
