Me and my friend had a paella today at this restaurant. It was fresh, the seafood was flavourful and the service was very pleasant. I would recommend this place :)
Lovely restaurant in a beautiful setting. We didn’t make a reservation and luckily they were able to accommodate us. We enjoyed a toasted sandwich with chips and a pizza! Food was tasty and very well presented. Great service too. The restaurant is right by one of the main squares so popular with street entertainment which adds to the atmosphere
We ate there twice, and each time we came away impressed. Food is great (especially paella), service is quick, waiters speak English as well. The only problem we had was related to the wind - you can only sit on the terrace and when there's a strong wind it makes hard to consume anything.
Great vibes, nice central location. Was a bit skeptical initially due to being a restaurant on a main square but the burgers were lovely and the gluten free bun was nicer than anything had in the UK previously. Ordered quite later around 10:30 and still busy about 11:30 when we left.
Best staff ever. The wind blew my hat off the table together with my sangria glass and they replaced it without asking. We had burger that seemed a bit well done, but in fact was just as it should be, and a goat cheese salad that was spectacular. I recommend this place for a great experience!
Everything was great! The atmosphere was lively due to it being outside and Pedro and Jose were lovely and welcoming. I will say the food was a tad bit salty hence the four star but it didn’t affect the quality of the food. Highly recommend!
Daniel provided great service. Very friendly and quick! He ran around to all the tables and was very busy, but was quick to take care of us during our visit. You can tell that he works very hard. The food was very good. We got a pizza and a sandwich. They were cooked well. Come here for a great experience!
Busy at times which affected service, but not too bad. We understood. Sometimes only one waiter was on and he worked so hard. Enjoyed the pizza Wife had. It was massive. I had a burger. Chips were a bit strange but ate them anyway. We did return and shared a pizza as so big. Lovely area not far from Serranos gates.
We have been in Valencia many times, but this is the first time when I am really disappointed with what I got on the table - a paella marisco “so called for two persons” that was barely enough for one (and believe me I do not eat a lot) - the rice barely covered the bottom of the pan and there were two pieces of squid and 3-4 pieces of shells. Very tasteful though.
Following the reviews… well we do not have the same experience. The ribbs were good but not great. 12 fries on your plate is really not a lot, but when they are cold and old ( like the last ones left in the bucket ) you do not mind. The chicken burger does not taste like chicken, but like ham. The explanation why the chicken is pink and not white is that the meat is coming from the chickenleg, which is a bit darker than the breast filet. But that still does not explain why it taste like ham…. Rosanna, the waitress is all smiles and friendliness and what you should expect from service. Disappointed in the food but service is great!
This was definitely the worst meal we had in a while and I usually don’t write bad reviews but I was asked to write one and don’t feel well after this meal. Goat cheese in salad was old as you can see on pictures. Barely had any vegetables and dressing. Fries were dry and hard to eat. Margharita pizza for 11€ was 2/10. We were really disappointed.
