Love a visit to Sac's when I am in California for a visit. We don't have hot dog places like this in Washington. The cheese dog is my favorite. Tons of cheese, crisp bite on the dog!! Staff is always so kind and quick.

Little spot with nice retro decor through out. The chili cheese dog was stacked! I couldn’t even finish it. The crew was nice and quick to finish my order, can’t go wrong with a good ol’ chili cheese dog.

I've been going to Sac's for years now, and I've never been let down! Their Chilli Cheese Dog has always been the very best, and I get it every time I'm there. The staff is always nice, and the inside has cool decorations. Best hot dog place there is!

This was me and my families first time at Sac's Tasty Hot Dogs in Vallejo, and I must say what a great old-fashioned neighborhood place to go eat with your family. The service was very welcoming, helpful, and fast. The prices of the food didn't break the bank, and it was one good hotdog. They have all kinds of cool decorations and things going on like kids get a FREE BOOK to take home! This will be a place we visit frequently!

The best hotdogs in Vallejo, been going here since I was a kid with my best friend and her dad. Don’t forget to get a lemonade 🍋 slushy. The Cheese 🧀 dogs are 🔥 fire. The chili cheese dogs are great too. I like to add celery salt 🧂 to mine. It gives it a extra kick. One of Vallejo’s classic places to go. Lines be out the door 🚪 because they are that Good! If you love a good hotdog 🌭 than this is the place to go!

Growing up in Vallejo in the 70's/80's, there were 2 MAJOR joints to eat at...Bud's Burgers and Sac's Tasty Dogs. I'll get to Bud's next week. Arriving at 12:15pm, the line was well out the door, and once inside your senses go into overload as your eyes take in the stunning decor, and your nose the aromas of the promises to follow. For beginners...the wieners are huge and slow cooked in water, the buns are steamed to perfection. ALL are made to your satisfaction with freshly sliced/diced onions, sliced tomato, relish, and other toppings, mustard, mayo, and ketchup. I ordered the Basic Dog (sliced onions & tomatoes, relish, and mustard) and the Super Chili Cheese Dog (both pictured). These are full length, piled high with ingredients. The cheese is freshly shredded cheddar, the chili made everyday. And since 1st opened in 1976, nothing has changed except the prices!! They also serve a Cheese Dog w/12oz of cheese, and a Cajun Dog with jalapeños. All can be had either ala cart, or with chips and drink. There IS a reason this establishment is consistently voted Best in County...visit once and you'll see why! Just come with a healthy appetite.

It was my first time going there following a friend’s suggestion. I was happy to have found this place. The customer service is remarkable. The girl that waited on me was excellent. The order was great. The food was excellent. I ordered an Original Tasty hotdog and a cheese hotdog. They could improve the packaging a little. Kudos! I’m glad I found no line there. I went there at 2:30 pm, maybe that’s why.

If you like dogs that have a skin with hard bite these are perfect. Best road side hotdog stand north of Top Dog in Berkeley and Oakland. Top dog wins for variety. sac’s wins for quality of dogs and portion size. Also best selection of motivational cards and magnets in Vallejo! If you love blue collar dinning this is the place!

Very nice ppl. This was the in and out of hot dogs. They kept it simple with the menu witch was good. Had the Cajun Dog with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, mustard and a heavy hand of cheese.

Absolutely mind boggling to pay 25 dollars for two hot dogs. Go to the grocery store and buy the stuff to make your own. You could have 8 hot dogs for their price of two. This place can't go out of business soon enough.
