I love the food and the atmosphere. Everybody is pleasant and seems happy to be there. I go there at least once a month if I can.

In this uncertain time of COVID this was truly an awesome place to eat outdoors.The drive was worth it.The natural outdoor setting is very relaxing and serene. The food was great and the green juices are the best I have ever tasted. The service was outstanding. Mr. Jose, I believe he's one of the owners takes service to a different level, he made us feel like we were dining at a friend's house and not at a restaurant.Thank you Jose. We will be frequent visitors.

Wonderful relaxing atmosphere, both inside and outside dining, incredible food and friendly service, creek nearby, large trees surround. Very much like The Yellow Deli in Vista only in the country. Highly recommend!

A truly great getaway from the city. Extremely tranquil atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. The food and healthy drinks are great. Food takes a long time to make but it's worth it, plus more time to walk around and enjoy the surroundings.

Lev was our waiter and explained how the place works. They have locations across the US and even outside. So local but not local. Cute place, the inside and the patio are both lovely. The valley center location has a compostable toilet. Due to permits, they cook in a trailer and so their food is served in compostable ware. The sandwiches are awesome and I went for my salmon sandwich and they let me get rid of lettuce and cheese and substitute with avocado. The only low point was they added chips to my order and I hadn't seen that when I placed my order. So unfortunately, they served chips right on my plate, and they aren't homemade. If I had seen that in a timely manner, I would have asked to not give me that but that wasn't their fault. Looks like their teas and breads are homemade as well. I would have liked actual plates but I can imagine it's harder with permits in the location in valley center, near the lavender farm, so they made up with their compostable toilet. I look forward to checking out some of their other locations. Definitely worth checking out.

Absolutely love coming to this location! The Mango Matte iced tea is amazing and I always love to get the Deli rose sandwiche. You have to try the cheese pie to know how delicious it truly is. Get one to share if not for yourself because your tastebuds will be happy you did. The atmosphere here is really peaceful and pleasant. A great place to enjoy some tea and listening to the birds chirping nearby or get lost in the beautiful countryside and the music they play. Thank you for being such a great place to sit and enjoy a good meal.

OMG! If you enjoy Serenity and a peaceful meal than the YELLOW DELI Is the spot to be. Moms & Pop's Outdoor restaurant with beautiful views all around. With relaxing background music. Beautiful wooden deck, and Tranquility makes it The perfect spot to go after a long hard day at work. The service was Amazing and the food was simple but delicious. I highly recommend this place if you like the outdoors, and peaceful atmosphere! I will definitely be returning!!

When visiting Valley Center or just out for a ride up in North County, venture over to the Yellow Deli. This unique, quant and charming little deli is a must. From the beautiful and tranquil surroundings to it’s organic/healthy menu there’s something for everyone. When you arrive make sure to walk the grounds and step inside the cute little house to see all the craftsmanship and hand made items. If you’re in a rush then this isn’t the place for you. You need to sit back, relax and take in its beauty and charm. When in season you can also purchase fresh vegetables from their garden. So stop by, eat, socialize and have yourself a relaxing time.

Place is off the beaten path and eating outside was relaxing, as was the music coming from the speakers. Very nice personnel, but service is slow, which is the only drawback for me.

This place was a really good place to eat! We ordered chili (delicious!), the hibiscus drink (delicious!), the chipotle chicken sandwich (forgot the name but also delicious), the deli rose (wowww so good!) And the yellow submarine (this was good but I think it would be better with more sauce because it was good but also dry, I almost asked for some of the Chipotle sauce but I was almost done by the time they came back so it didnt seem worth the trouble. We also tried the green drink, the ginger one and that was really delicious, no bitter flavor and the ginger was strong but deliciously blended. I want to go back. The chili came with a jalapeño bread that was good. I even ordered some chili to go. Oh almost forgot we ordered dessert, we got banana bread i think, that was ok, not my thing, the cheese dessert with strawberries, good. And the carrot cake, to me this was the best. They make it from scratch.
