Coming down from the train station towards the sea, the restaurant has a big terrace that seems to always be full and the people who fill it give it one of the best vibes. My visit felt like coming to a family reunion where everybody knows everybody and they pull up a chair and just catch up. I could speak for ages about the polite and friendly staff, but then I wouldn't get to the food, which was amazing in and of itself. I got an Aperol (because Italy) and a gelato (very much because Italy). The way everything was served, the taste and also the complimentary pizza pieces were a highlight for me :)

Stopped for coffee while waiting for a train. The cappuccino and espresso were good, and they have a selection of pastries as well. The location was close to the train station but not near the beautiful view of the water.

The Worst Dining Experience in Italy – Stay Away This was hands down the most disgusting meal we’ve ever had in Italy. We ordered three types of pasta — carbonara, Bolognese, and frutti di mare — and all were inedible. They looked and smelled awful, like they’d been reheated from the day before. Not fresh! The environment was even worse. A woman fed her dog at the table next to us. Homeless people and drunkards surrounded us — all of them smelled terrible. The place was filthy, old, and depressing. We told the waitress (who was kind) that we couldn’t eat the food and wanted to leave. The owner was rude and dismissive, refusing to accept any criticism and insisting we pay, even though we didn’t eat. Avoid this place at all costs. The food is awful, the atmosphere disgusting, and the owner couldn’t care less.

Felt dirty, and pigeons kept bothering us as they kept hanging below the tables around our feet. Wanted to eat something there initially but we just had a bottle of water in the end. Waiters were good.
