This family-run restaurant focuses on the catch of the day. The mixed fish appetizer is excellent, along with fried cod, spaghetti with clams and bottarga, or tagliatelle al verde with mixed seafood, and baked sea bream. The house white wine and desserts are excellent. If you prefer traditional fare, there's always a dish with Genoese pesto.

A place from days gone by. Intimate, cozy, and with fresh food prepared to order. Delicious business lunch, entirely seafood-based. Christian and his staff are wonderful. I absolutely recommend it. Perfect prices, and the lunch menu is top notch.

Ennio Vernengo

If you're in Pegli, this is a great place to try Ligurian flavors. I recommend the breaded anchovies and cuculli pasta as an appetizer, followed by the mandilli (small lasagna) with pesto. Tucano2's pesto is a great mix of ingredients and will appeal even to those who can't stand strong pesto. A good selection of seafood is also available.

On a cold autumn evening in December, I found myself with my wife and some friends at this small and welcoming restaurant. The Locanda is very intimate and seats about 24. The simple yet direct welcome makes guests feel at ease. We found the portions beautifully plated, with attention to aesthetics. All the dishes were freshly cooked, with truly fresh fish: an evening to remember, both for the setting and the company. Approved!

I haven't actually eaten here, but I've ordered takeout several times and have to say I've always been satisfied. The fried food is different every time, depending on the catch. Everything is delicious and incredibly fresh. Even the takeout packaging is thoughtful, including a napkin and breadsticks. Highly recommended.

Perfect food and staff. Averagely high price for the location and quality. Unfortunately, we came home with everything in need of washing: jackets, shirts, sweaters... everything smelling of fried food... open kitchen. What a shame...

Delusione e Sfiducia ! Purtroppo esperienza deludente il cibo era mediocre, ma la sorpresa è arrivata al conto, con un coperto in più rispetto alle persone presenti al tavolo, aggiunto in fondo allo scontrino dopo la voce dell’antipasto, offrendo il pranzo ad amici non mi sono soffermato alla lettura dello scontrino nell’immediato. Dettagli così rovinano l’esperienza e fanno perdere fiducia e clientela. Non tornerò e non consiglio.
