Osteria la Canonica

Sono davvero felice di aver fatto questa esperienza di una cena all’osteria canonica di Castiglion Del Bosco… Il menù e il menù del giorno ci hanno soddisfatto alla grande con dei piatti di altissima qualità e molto prelibati… Vorrei ringraziare in particolare la cameriera che si è occupata tutta la sera del nostro tavolo che è stata davvero Eccezionale e professionale nel prendersi cura di noi… un menu ben strutturato e un servizio davvero alla portata del cliente oltre alla cena abbiamo avuto il piacere di incontrare anche il famosissimo chef Carlo Cracco… Tornerò sicuramente Un grande applauso ancora a tutto lo staff

Una cucina leggera e curata nel minimo dettaglio !

Really nice restaurant at the Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco Hotel. The setting, the food and the service is top class. It is a bit expensive, but you have to take into account the hotel within which it's located. Reservation is recommended and easily done over the Internet. The have a wood fired oven and a charcoal oven for the grill menu. Just driving to the Castiglion del Bosco is a great experience, as the scenery is as good as it gets in Tuscany.

Great selection of wines and local delicacies. Tiramisu is highly recommended. Very calm and picturesque atmosphere.

Dining in an amazing courtyard, beside a castle ruin and in front of an old church … the setting is fantastic … I ate here several times, repeating several dishes … The service is spectacular and the team working there, including the chef’s are great fun and very welcoming. Truly worth the drive and experience! Book in advance if you are not staying at the hotel!

Although it is at the Castiglion del Bosco hotel, which is a luxury hotel, this restaurant is absolutely worth visiting at lunchtime. The environment is delightful, and the food is extremely good, often made with ingredients grown on site. And, needless to say, the wine is good too. The Tenuta Prima Pietra, from the sister vineyard, was our favourite.

Spettacolare, davvero uno dei posti piu incantevoli della Toscana. Cura del dettaglio, servizio impeccabile, cantina mozzafiato e cucina a dir poco eccellente,veramente piatti e materie trattate di un livello estremamente ottimo. Complimenti a tutto lo staff

We came here a couple nights since we are staying at the Rosewood and it was the most convenient way to have dinner. The setting is beautiful in the evenings as the sun is going down and you dine under the stars, very magical unless there are screaming kids around. There have been more hits than misses in terms of the food: the Florentina T-bone steak, sea bass, prosciutto, burrata and grilled chicken were particularly good while the rest were not. Their desserts are not to be missed either. Staff are always very friendly and attentive, and it was a pleasure dining here. One thing to add is the variety on the menu is not the largest so after 2 days of eating here, there was nothing new we could try out.
