The best place for an aperitivo in Busto Arsizio! It's immediately clear that passion and a focus on the finest ingredients are at the heart of this project! Owner Alessandro is always attentive to customer requests, always with great professionalism! Number 1 I'll add after more than two years: This place has undoubtedly felt like a second home to us. The guys are wonderful, and it will be hard to find a place like it in our next destination! Knowledgeable friends, always ready to offer a smile and a slice of salami...we'll miss you!
Impeccable service, kindness, and helpfulness deserve a 10. The food is delicious and the prices are extremely competitive; it's impossible to leave hungry. The cocktails are also good, with a good selection. The only flaw is that the place is a bit small and can get quite noisy when full. If you're looking for a quiet or peaceful place, perhaps you'd better look elsewhere. In short, go there, whether for an aperitif or dinner.
A truly interesting place... top-quality ingredients and very kind, attentive, and helpful staff. I went for an aperitivo and it was a pleasant journey through flavors. The mixed platter of cured meats and cheeses was exquisite. The desserts were also excellent.
A’ Maggese is a delicatessen and tasting room in the heart of Busto Arsizio, known for its philosophy that celebrates high-quality products and the connection with the territory. The restaurant combines the tradition of Italian delicatessen with a refined gastronomic experience, perfect for those who love authentic and refined flavors. A’ Maggese offers a wide selection of artisanal cured meats and cheeses from small local and national producers. Each product is carefully chosen to guarantee quality and taste. The tasting room offers rich and creative cutting boards, paired with wines selected from prestigious wineries. Particular attention is paid to the combinations of flavors, which transform each meal into a sensory experience. The environment is welcoming and well-kept, with a mix of rustic and modern style. The staff is prepared and passionate, always ready to tell the story of each product and recommend the best pairings. the staff is young, lively and very kind; each cutting board is accompanied with plenty of details on the foods offered and the best possible pairings. I have been there on several occasions and the tasting has always been positive; the portions are correct, the price/quality ratio is positive. I always recommend booking as the place has two rooms but does not have many seats. Recommended!
We had aperitif at this place, which I'd never been to before, and I must say the quality of the products is worth it. I had a non-alcoholic cocktail, which (for my taste) I would have preferred to be a little sweeter, but overall it was fine. The food was very good, high-quality; I really enjoyed the cured meats and some aged cheeses.
A family-friendly place just outside the center of Busto Arsizio. Discovered thanks to a friend for our aperitifs and conversations over platters and a glass of good wine. We returned last night for the second time with a group of people for a pre-arranged tasting in their private room... what can I say? If the first one was so good that we organized a second, this one was exceptional!!! 😍 Alice, despite being very young, was able to explain the characteristics of the wines and the pairings chosen with the dishes well and precisely. All the tasters were very satisfied. Here are the photos of the dishes and I once again congratulate the entire staff for their skill and friendliness. We'll be back again 😉 1) Pinot Noir with Culatello Stroghino, 24-month Parma ham, and black pig shoulder 2) Schiava with slow-cooked roast beef rose with tuna and caponata 3) Gavi with Cantabrian anchovies and marinated swordfish ravioli with a ricotta and stracciatella cream center 4) Kabinett with Apple Pie and vanilla ice cream quenelle
We'd already been for dinner with friends months ago and had a great time, both for the quality of the food and the presentation and introduction to the dishes we'd ordered from our server. The second time, however, was for a late-morning snack for our "very hungry" little one. We were in the area with about a 20-minute break, so we decided to order two cured meat sandwiches offered by one of the owners. Delicious! Sliced and lightly toasted Apulian bread with Milano salami for the little one and porchetta from Campania for the adults. One of the partners grew up near Busseto and, with A' Maggese, he's created a place reminiscent of the delicatessen found in the Parma area. A simple, informal deli offering food and drinks, where you can choose to sit down and enjoy or take home the delicacies from the kitchen and delicatessen. The selection of artisanal cured meats and cheeses is not limited to Emilia, but also from Campania, Puglia, Sicily, Marche, and Tuscany. A selection of crostini, fish, desserts, and much more. We will definitely be back again for dinner.
We went there one evening for a birthday party, and we had a great table. The staff handled everything really well, from welcoming us to ordering, to serving food and wine for everyone. The ingredients are truly excellent and rich in variety; they even have their own butcher's counter where you can buy their products. They served us their famous super platters, packed with cured meats, cheeses, sauces, and hot and cold appetizers. We were all very satisfied. The atmosphere is also very impressive: rustic, refined, and welcoming. They're truly excellent; whether it's for an intimate aperitif with friends or for a large event like ours, it's an excellent choice. Lastly, the anti-COVID regulations were fully respected. Keep up the good work!

Excellent Emilian-style aperitivo, featuring refined, high-quality products. We tried tapas and a platter accompanied by a bottle of Malvasia, all truly delicious. The place is very welcoming and also has a lovely internal courtyard. The kindness and professionalism of the two young, talented owners complete the experience. The highlight was the Emilian herb liqueur recommended by the owner, perfect after sampling the cured meats and cheeses. We had a great time, we'll be back!
Siamo stati a cena sabato sera.
A small delicatessen offering aperitifs and after-dinner drinks, with the option to host private events. A small venue, reservations are required. The food is excellent, with a constantly changing menu based on market demand. The products on offer are highly sought-after. They're famous for their "tasting board" (tastings by the meter). Their cocktail menu offers interesting twists, with their own twists. Reservations are required, and parking is limited in the immediate area. Friendly staff are knowledgeable and can explain the various dishes. Their homemade bread and focaccia are also excellent.
A Maggese is the ideal place for an aperitivo, with delicious platters and expertly prepared gin and tonics. The place is very charming and has a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in good company. The prices are a bit higher than other places, but the quality and atmosphere justify the cost. An excellent choice for those looking for a special aperitivo in a refined setting.
Aperitif with family. They reserved the small space facing the entrance for us, just enough room for about ten of us. The food and service were good value for money. The detailed descriptions of the products offered, both food and drinks, were also good. The service was good, constantly present but never intrusive or annoying, asking questions and/or checking to see if everything was going well. If I really had to find a flaw, it was the decor, which, probably due to "trend," consisted of reused tables and chairs, which unfortunately aren't the most comfortable for those who remain seated to eat. Recommended.
The place is very small but cute and welcoming. Given its small size and the crowds, it's advisable to book well in advance. I came here for an aperitivo and I must say the charcuterie board was truly exceptional. The cured meats were fresh and flavorful. The waiter was also kind enough to explain the types of cured meats and cheeses available and the order in which they should be eaten. I recommend trying this place because it's worth it. I should note that the prices are a little high, but you won't regret it.
A disappointing experience this evening. The place is small but cozy, which unfortunately was the only positive. The charcuterie board was decent, but the meatballs were inedible, and the focaccia was dry and tough, as if it were days old, with too much oil! The staff were inattentive, not even leaving us napkins, and they were not at all friendly. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
Terrible!!!!!!!! I'm so sorry to say this, given that there are many positive reviews, but unfortunately I can only express my extreme negativity. The place is very nice, the welcome is discreet, but the food is poor. There were 3 of us at the table, so we ordered a platter for 3 with house focaccia (so we were told), vegetarian meatballs, and even a moussaca. The cured meats were certainly of high quality, but the focaccia was completely soaked in oil and not fresh, but had been gone for a few days, also because all you could taste was oil in your mouth. The meatballs were hard as stone and inedible. The moussaca, let's say, was almost acceptable. In short, the moral of the story was that we paid the bill out of politeness, but honestly, I won't set foot in there again. As we left the restaurant, two other people said the same thing: terrible food.
