What can I say...it turned our Saturday around. It was raining in Novara, and we had no desire to cook, so we tried calling at 8:30 PM and luckily a table was free. We arrived, sat down, read the menu, and chose an appetizer (minimum 2 people) with cured meats, veal with tuna sauce, a trio of Russian salad, Borottana onions, sweet and sour peppers, and other vegetables, and two different first courses to try: excellent tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and agnolotti with butter and sage. All washed down with a half liter of house red wine. We had intended to try the second course as well, but we had to give in and wave the white flag; we were super full and stuffed. The portions are generous, incredibly good, and the prices are super affordable. Absolutely worth trying.

I was passing through Novara and after a Google search I found this trattoria for dinner. What can I say! Fantastic! I ate wonderfully, the food was plentiful, the staff was friendly, and above all, it was really cheap. Incredible. I recommend this place to everyone.

A classic local trattoria with a set menu, a wide selection (more of a second course than a first course), and an unrivaled value these days (the steak alone was worth the price of the entire meal). My only complaint is the potatoes, which, in my opinion, should be cooked more. Definitely worth returning if in the area.

A spacious, well-kept restaurant with an almost homey feel. Unfortunately, we went late at night and couldn't order an appetizer. Overall, the dishes were good, with generous portions. It's the ideal place for rustic, home-style cuisine. Prices are average. The staff is friendly. However, I think the ambiance has good potential and could be improved. Overall, we ate well.

Bar-restaurant, a simple, unpretentious place. The food is good, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It's not a place for couples to dine, but more of a working-class environment. 3 stars because the place could use more care and attention. It's very bare and simple, and the decor is a bit disappointing. The bathroom was left completely neglected, as if it were a place unworthy of attention. Changing at least one toilet brush and removing the cleaning supplies doesn't seem like much to ask. Otherwise, the food is good.
