We dined twice at a lovely Il Vicoletto restaurant in Stresa and both times were amazing! Everything was perfect — delicious food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Outstanding! Their risotto for two is flavorful and adequate for the two servings. Plentiful portions. Small setting with seating both indoors and outdoors. Outside of the busy piazza where locals go. Reservation are advised. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful dinner here. Friendly waiters and fun menu. We had mixed fish platter as antipasti and were pleasantly surprised by the different kinds of fish, pickled, smoked and deep fried. Pasta was freshly made. I wasn’t sure about the rabbit rolls, but that’s could be because I haven’t had rabbit before. The mojito panna cotta was the perfect dessert to end the night - the mojito gelatine made it very refreshing. The couple next to us told us they came back after dining here 6 years ago!

Best oft the best on Lago Maggiore and the best restaurant in Stresa by far. Very friendly stuff with excellent service in a classic Italian atmosphere. The food was extraordinary good. Couldn’t say anything bad. This restaurant is worth every penny. I definitely come back when I’m visiting Lago Maggiore again. Thank you il Vicoletto!

The food was my first Italy lunch ever. It was unbelievably good. I had the zucchini pesto and it blew me away. The service was also fantastic. I would eat here every day.

- great Italian trattoria - small card and you taste the fresh ingredients - very nice and flavourful food - such a friendly service (we went there the day after as we needed a toilette and they recognised us and offered us a coffee for free) - I recommend the vitello tonnato and the fish of the day We will come back! ❤️

We accidently stumbled upon this quaint restaurant after the one we were going to didn't pan out. After reading their menu and decided to give a chance. We were not disappointed. The was very tasty but the grilled fillet of veal with roasted baby potatotes and black cabage was a real treat. For desert we shared an almond cake and chocolate and a meringue with chocolate both of which are to die for. The bill was under 90eu which is quite reasonable. Cheers
