We had a great meal. Set menu €15. The salad and moussaka starters were excellent. For the main course, we had braised pork cheeks in red wine. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the service very fast.

It's hard to find a restaurant with a menu as excellent as this one. It's €15 without drinks, but we tried a white wine from the Vilafames winery and a red from Alicante, both very good. As for the food, the whole group was satisfied, especially the lamb tombet. The stuffed eggplant, the rice, and the olleta—all highly recommended. Congratulations to these excellent restaurateurs.

Almost full at 2 p.m. this Monday, September 22nd!! Today's menu at €15 plus €12 of Rioja rosé wine, very generous as always. For once, there's a catch for the TOMBET DE CORDERO: LOTS of fat and vertebral bones, for 20% meat (very good but too rare!!🥴) See before and after photos: I wanted to taste and try it, but I won't do it again 😉

We visit to Vilafames last 6 years every year and always have a lunch in this restaurant - the food here is always very tasty and good-coocked and you can feel that they use fresh products. We always order a different plates - and all food is awesome. Very professional.

This was unsurpassed. Room not big, but very comfortable. You have all needed, including minibar, tooth kit, fresh and soft towels etc. As bonus you will get a dizzying view of the area. Thanks staff, I enjoyed it!!!

Decided to visit Vilafames For a walk and lunch. Amazing value for money quality fresh food. I can’t say staff were friendly or helpful when asked questions re menu, very busy but no excuse.

Hay 2 turnos para comer: 13:30 o 15 horas. Menú o a la carta. Si coges menú son 25€ con bebida y café a parte. Hay 3 entrantes para compartir y plato principal, más postre (todos caseros). Yo no llegué al plato principal y pedí para llegar. Todo muy bueno y los platos son generosos. El servicio bien organizado, amable y profesional. El local es acogedor y muy bonito de estilo rústico. Hay que aparcar bastante abajo y subir andando por lo menos en fin de semana.

Buena relación calidad precio. El servicio muy bueno. Las chicas son muy ágiles y atentas. Los langostinos muy recomendables. Nos quedamos con las ganas de probar la olla. Los canelones nos decepcionaron.

Mi primera vez en el Restaurante el rullo. Es un local rural, con comida casera. Nos decidimos por pedir el menú (18€ bebida y café a parte), pero también disponen de carta. De primero, nos decantamos por la olleta de vilafames y una ensalada de tomate con queso fresco y frutos secos. En cuanto al segundo, carrillera y un solomillo crujiente(con beicon). Y acabamos con una cuajada y un tiramisú. Calidad- precio adecuado. Por poner un pero diría que la carne del solomillo estaba muy hecha. Aún así, si voy a villafames volveré. 100% recomendable.

Bastante bien en general. Las raciones eran abundantes y calidad precio se podría decir que bien. Hemos estado en la terraza y junto a la temperatura de primeros de octubre ha sido muy agradable.

We went to visit a friend and made a reservation inside. Everything was perfect, and the table was well prepared. We ordered the set menu for €27, neither expensive nor cheap, just right for my taste. The starters were well prepared and plentiful. We arrived at the main courses, and they were spectacularly delicious and also plentiful. You only have to look at the photos. In fact, we couldn't finish the dish because desserts came later and we had to make room. The waitresses were rushed because it was full, but they behaved well. I'd give it an excellent rating for quality and service. The only thing that spoiled it was that we asked a young waitress if we could take the main courses we couldn't finish, as it was a large amount. She said yes. I asked for a Tupperware, and she told me the kitchen would take care of preparing it to go. When it was time to pay and leave, we asked for the promised takeout, and surprise, surprise! The kitchen had thrown it away, and she said, "What do you do then?" We were excited to finish our main courses at home because they were so delicious, and she couldn't give them. We paid, left, and didn't say anything, but I'd like to take advantage of this review to express my opinion that someone on the staff didn't do their job well, either the young waitress or the kitchen. That doesn't mean I wouldn't go back; on the contrary, the food is good and high-quality, but such oversights shouldn't happen. Recommended.

Menú del día por 15€ que no es para tirar cohetes pero sales del paso. No tenían nada para los mas pequeños tipo pasta, lomo con patatas o algo así, solo nos ofreció unas nuggets, y no estaban muy bien. La atención más que justa, preguntamos por unos platos y parecía que le molestabamos, la carta era su móvil con una foto de la pizarra de afuera, muy distantes vamos. Baños sin papel higiénico, tenían servilletas del comedor. Lo bueno, que está bien situado para ir a ver las cosas del pueblo.

Lo esperábamos mucho mejor. Pedimos de carta, no de menú. Las alcachofas vinieron frías, el arroz al horno con calabaza por encargo era una ración muy pequeña para el precio que tiene y el chuletón distaba mucho de pesar 500gms como se suponía, además de no tener casi sabor. Camarera muy seca, no así el otro chico. Quizás nos tocó el mal día, pero no repetiremos.

You can die of success. We traveled over 100km to repeat a unique gastronomic experience with their "baked rice in pumpkin." And while it wasn't bad, it was nothing like the one from a few years ago. First, the pumpkin was far too small for four people. Second, the amount of rice was very meager, as were the chickpeas and meat, which were practically nonexistent. There was even coloring in the rice. A touch of saffron would have added a nice touch. It was truly disappointing. We brought another couple along to enjoy it, and it was hard to justify. However, the tuna belly salad is highly recommended. We also ordered squid, which was good. And for whatever reason—perhaps they were fully booked at the time of year, or I'm not entirely sure—the service from the veteran waitresses was anything but friendly. It was as if we were bothering them. This wasn't the case with the bartender, who was exceptionally kind. I've even wondered if it's possible the "owner" has changed and shifted their focus to less demanding tourists. I honestly don't know how to interpret it. What I do know is that it's no longer worth traveling 100km to eat that baked rice.

Food was delivered cold on two occasions. First the croquettes were cold inside, we sent them back. Then the steak ordered medium rare was not only blue, it was cold inside. So two out of the three dishes we ordered weren’t cooked properly. The third dish was hot but came with soggy chips and one piece of broccoli. We paid and left as quickly as possible. It was expensive - seriously overpriced compared to other places we dined in Valencian area, let alone for the fact the food was cold. It was a very disappointing experience.
